Rikuyo

"I don't care. If he is so lonely, he should seek companionship of others, not scam people out of souls." The redhead stole, killed and had her way with others without feeling any remorse for her actions nor giving a damn how others behaved, but this was one of exceptions, along with cowardly messing with minds of others. If anyone though pointed out to her the similarity to what Shinobu did to Medaka, this was more like a bond between a parent and progeny. In her previous life she had once such a bond, but together with siblings she tore her Pops apart. Long story.

"If he is so lonely, he won't be if my fist meets his face. Besides, he is a reminder of your past, whatever it was like. You won't move on and look towards the future as long as your soul is not back."

Then, she inspected her surroundings. All shops in the streets were ravaged and people evacuated already. "This is serious, so I'll go looking for a gi. Maybe I should start training Ron-kun too, if that guy has some flunkies it may be a good exercise for him to come along. I don't know where that weirdo is, but when I'm close I'll know anyway."

"Uwaaahh..."

That was a big piece of meat. What part of the cow was that even from?! Or maybe a better question was what part of the cow wasn't it from? Wow. Just, wow. Her eyes were pretty big at the sight, and suddenly Breeze knew why Sakura was so confident about winning. Still, this Solar wasn't going to just give up.

So she set on her game face and started to dig in. Mashed potatoes first. Was she even going to have room to enjoy dessert fed to her by two cuties if she did win this? I hope so.

Medaka Kurokami

It looked as though the girl had already set her mind to retrieving Medaka's soul.  Still she had a point.  While violence is probably not the answer here, that incident a few months ago has been sitting at the back of her mind, a dark cloud of emotions waiting to be unleashed.  There was also the issue of Toe/Teddy.  What happened to him?  Why did he change?  If he had her soul, why did he not use it all of this time?  What was this strange feeling?

Medaka closed her eyes and took a deep breath.  "No your right.  I need to confront him.  Even more important then that, I need to assure myself that he is alright."  She said, opening her eyes and looking at Rikuyo with newfound determination.

"This is serious, so I'll go looking for a gi. Maybe I should start training Ron-kun too, if that guy has some flunkies it may be a good exercise for him to come along. I don't know where that weirdo is, but when I'm close I'll know anyway."

She looked around.  The city was absolutely devastated.  There were dents in the ground and nearby objects.  The ground was littered with broken glass from the cars and shops.  Many of the people had left, evacuating from the area for fear of getting caught in the crossfire.  She looked back at the shop.  At least it was still mostly in one piece.

Then, she turned back to the store.  "Alright.  I am going to go talk to Shinobu.  No matter what she decides, she will need to know about my decision."  She responded in a neutral tone, the more somber one hidden underneath it as it slowly started to fade as her steps shattered glass beneath her feet. Regardless she would have to go with Rikuyo.  She couldn't let her kill Theodore, no matter what it took.

With a quick hop, she jumped back in through the window and scanned the room.  In the middle of the shop, he spotted Ron pressing Shinobu onto a counter. (Which for some reason was in the dining hall)  They were having sex... on a counter top.  She froze, losing all composure as a flood of different thoughts and emotions spun rapidly in her head.  The most prevalent were jealousy and lust.

The young innocent vampire stood there, forgetting why she originally came inside, entranced by the arousing sight of a man penetrating a woman.

Methuselah

How awful. The death of someone was never something to joke about. Still, it must've been hard for such a cute little officer to do this work, he felt obliged to salute her out of respect for her duty. Grinning from ear to ear with a bloodcurdling grin, he tried to give her a reassuring smile while towering over her with his massive dark body.

"Hi, thanks for the good work."

It was terrifying.

Forest

Forest watched as Officer Vermilion walked out with Gadreel in handcuffs.

She quickly scanned the hospital and didn't sense any other mind control being used in the building.  There was a surge of annoyance as she looked at the handcuffs, knowing fully well that Gadreel could easily snap them.  Faboo, we're going to be taken to the police station.

Sighing, she held out her hands to be cuffed as well, keeping her mouth shut.  Push comes to shove, I can make bail for the both of us.  Besides, I think they might owe me for a bounty or two, Forest sent to Gadreel.

She looked over at her beloved car and asked, "Will my car be okay here?"   She knew she was a tad overprotective of her car, but she loved it and it was one of the few things that made her happy here.

Gadreel

"I understand. Thank you for the assistance." That was all he had to say to Noel as she restrained Gadreel and led him back out of the hospital. All in all, he could say that the incident had been resolved rather well by the standards he was accustomed to. A bit more public in nature than was typical in his world, but few suffered any permanent damage to which he was privy in the course of resolution.

So it was with a lightened heart that the fallen angel took in the cool night air, and shook his head at Forest's telepathic communique. I suspect we will have little to worry about as long as we remain cooperative, Forest.

"Mine."

He snatched the stack of ice cream away the moment it was offered to him. Now he finally had some more, ice cream was the greatest and nothing could ruin it. Nothing at all. His girlfriend however needed to be taught a lesson very badly. You don't mess with the ice cream. Or else face the freezing. "i'm pretty sure you just took it... I see. It all makes sense now. Haunter learned from you."

He discarded the half finished ice cream, forgotten in the face of more important matters. Jin then moved closer to her and grabbed hold of her arms while glaring into her eyes. "It seems like I will to bring this little thief in.

Mordred

She got entangled with another monster, except that instead of getting crushed or beaten up she was now forced to commit grave crimes against her own stomach. She had always some amaranthines and bloodapples to heal up some damage, but that wouldn't help her keeping the food. She did have some petals of tiger mallow, but she had to be careful not to overdo or she would feel very drained.

The waitress brought finally her tea, and Mord thought of dropping a small portion of tiger mallow into the cup. If stealing food wasn't condemned, then maybe she would help her body cope better with such enormous meal. While those two would be preoccupied with eating, she would add tiger mallow into her own drink.

IRON=SAKURA

She saw Mord doing something funny out of the corner of her eye. She was putting something that looked like—flower petals—into her tea. Sakura's eyes narrowed and her arm snaked out across the table, grabbing Mordred's wrist just before she dropped whatever she was putting in in.

"What in the world are you putting that in the tea for, Mord?" Sakura asked her with an extremely calm voice. "You wouldn't happen to be trying to cheat, would you?"

Petra

"I don't have anything like a gun, but I can always kick one of them if I have chance. I'm not too shabby at self-defense, so I'll have a go at them if they can't shoot me." She said, underplaying her abilities. She had to keep this charade, so it was natural for her to hold back against those two thieves.

Liam

"Try tripping one if you can," he suggested under his breath as the sound of footsteps grew closer. Those two had started moving along, their steps hurried as they pointed their flashlights forward as best they could given the darkness and the tight corridor. It was only as they passed, ready to try to catch Liam and Petra, that the relic robbers learned their lesson.

The vampire did a clothesline on one of them, taking advantage of the dark and his own perfect vision to get the upper hand, and grabbed the arm with the gun.

Best proceed with caution. The struggle began in earnest.

Boss

Straight to the point, he liked that. Nodding, he followed her lead and sat down.

"Have you pondered on my request?" He asked simply, not willing to waste any more words on this than it was necessary.

Vanguard

Truthfully, Vanguard couldn't find rest. It was to be expected, even now he still hadn't reached that inner peace required to slumber. Perhaps he was afraid of the nightmares that would come when he closed his eyes, or even more horrifying, that he would find himself sealed in that mountain once more when he opened them. That all of this, these months spent here, were nothing but a dream, an hallucination meant to deceive him.

Hmph, how foolish.
Even now it didn't matter. Whether the world was real or not, whether he was real or not, even as a memory or a figment he still existed. He could see, he could touch this bed, and to his mind it was real. If he couldn't see it it didn't exist, if he couldn't understand it it was obsolete. The truth of this world was only limited to himself, because it was the only thing he still had.

If it didn't have a meaning, he'd make one up. Until the heavens would be within reach, he could wait a little longer.

Barely an hour passed and the machine rose from the bed, not even bothering to look at Erica, as if it was but a pebble in the side of his road. He reached the kitchen and opened the refrigerator, and what he saw he did not like.

"What is this?" He asked irritably.

Sakura Matou

"I did look over your proposal, yes." Sakura told him before she gestured for him to sit down. "But before that, would you like something to drink?" Sakura asked him with a smile. Even if this deal was a flop, she still wanted to be nice to him. It might make her a useful ally in the future for a relatively negligible price.

"Let's sit down and order our drinks and appetizers before we start talking business."

She was really craving salt right now, anyway.

Unperturbed by his tone Erica merely looked at him from the solitary seat that the Mantle had formed. Was this a rhetorical question? Even if it was it seemed rather foolish. "There is food. It is meant to simulate breakfast for me. Nothing else. There is no need to care about its contents."

Oren

Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh. Oren droned on internally. This might have been the worst thing she's ever done. Stick Man couldn't talk! All he could do was fight! It was like talking with one of those old, ugly combat golems. Not the cute ones alchemists made nowadays. The ones that didn't do anything other than fight.

So instead of listening to him she started to nap.

Michael frowned a little as Oren soon started to nap, clearly more than a little bored of the talk. Not that he could really blame her, to be fair. He hadn't exactly been expecting a first attempt at faking something to go well, but that had sounded yawn-inducing even to him. Really, what had happened? He'd been under the impression that things might get at least a little more interesting after meeting Breeze and getting back into teaching, but it was starting to feel like he'd gotten excited over nothing.

Perhaps it was time to take a more active role in things? There would need to be preparations, of course. Connections to be made, resources to be gathered, events to be set in motion.

Pantheon's sake, at this rate it would be worth it even if someone throws a wrench into the whole thing. Maybe I'll be the one doing the throwing, just to see how the whole thing crumbles. Of course, it'll be worthwhile to see just what is built up first...

Shrugging, the immortal allowed a yawn himself before easing himself up to his feet and making his way into the city, curious to see if he could find any particular inspiration somewhere.

Vanguard

"Breakfast? And what about lunch, what about supper, what about the vegetables?" He asked in dramatic outrage. "This is a travesty. You tell me that I am to accept a healthy girl growing with half cooked garbage? Unacceptable, I shall provide for you true nourishment, even if I have to force it down your throat. It shall be nutritious, and you will learn to enjoy it." He said, not really as a declaration but as a genuine threat.

Without even letting her protest, he walked up to her and picked her up like a sack of potatoes. He wouldn't even let her protest, one word and he would use that mantle of hers to tie and gag her like a sausage and drag her by the hair if he must. But what he saw was simply intolerable. To eat is to live, and to disrespect food is to disrespect life. As one who had not savored a hearty meal in eons, the sight of her fridge was sacrilege.

Actually he just felt like cooking something. There was a severe lack of ingredients in this house, this simply wouldn't do.

"Let's go. We have groceries to pick up."

Sakura and Shirou

Sakura and Shirou sat at the table of their small-but-comfortable apartment, looking through the information on their latest target, a vampire who had apparently made the mistake of attacking the son of a wealthy businesswoman, who had promptly put up a significant bounty for his capture or death. Investigating further, they determined that the vampire was responsible for multiple other deaths, seemingly having no regard for human life whatsoever and seeing them as nothing but cattle. Realising the danger he was in, the vampire had gone into hiding, but Sakura and Shirou knew he would surely strike again. As such, he seemed like the perfect target, a bounty which would pay well and save lives. Whilst they knew that others would surely take this bounty, given the price, succeeding in it would ensure they were financially secure for at least several months, allowing them to take less valuable but more important bounties later.

Concluding their analysis of the information they had, they found several promising leads. Realising that it would be better to split up in order to find the vampire more quickly, the two of them changed into suitable clothing, remembering to put on their body armour underneath the inconspicuous clothes. Not wanting to stand out, the two of them decided to forgo their main weapons, instead equipping theirselves with concealable pistols and, in Sakura's case, the concealed knife which she always carried. In addition to their mobile phones, Sakura also produced a small shadow "giant", which Shirou placed in his pocket, to be used to contact each other in an emergency.

Now prepared, the two headed out of the door, walking a little way before reaching the point where they had to split up. There, they stopped for a moment, Sakura giving Shirou a loving hug and a kiss before waving to him as he walked off.

"Good luck, Senpai!" she said, a hint of worry in her voice as there always was whenever the two of them split up for a mission.

"You too, Sakura!" he responded.

With that, the two Emiyas went their seperate ways, intending to fulfill their somewhat-routine mission, save as many people as they could and return safely home.

The construct simply remained floating in Van's hold and pulled back with equivalent force. Her Mantle stayed firmly by her side as she responded with an almost bored tone. She couldn't truly be bored, but she certainly managed to sound like it. "I am incapable of receiving nutrition. All other food I eat outside of the home. Your actions are without purpose."

Paladin

The warrior hummed a bit as he walked the streets once more. What a strange city this was. If only he had more paladins, then enforcing order and peace here would be far more viable. But with his limited resources he would simply have to make do. Every little bit helped after all. Some poor people did not believe this, but Paladin could not fathom wishing to think such dark thoughts.

But then, to no small amount of surprise, he had run into a mini Sakura! Had the woman conceived a child? She seemed a bit young for that but every land had its customs and not all beings aged the same. A twin or sibling, maybe? Bah. Thoughts such as these were useless when he could simply ask.

So with confidence the armored man walked up the the purple haired girl and greeted her with a jaunty wave. "Excuse me, miss? Do you have an older sister by any chance? An incredibly strong one who looks similar to you but with a larger build?"
