The angel just barely restrained his reaction of amusement to the vampire woman's blatant reference to a very relevant work of entertainment. The true humor, of course, lay in the fact that the reference was too far in Sir Julius' subjective future for him to catch it. He only refrained from showing more than a twinkle of amusement.
"Ah, cellars," he reminisced. "You may be pleasantly surprised by the wonders of refrigeration then, Sir Julius ... as you are seeing now."
Indeed, the icebox was unnecessary in light of this particular invention. Humans were quite remarkable in their ability to adapt the world to their desires.
Ron
The werewolf, who himself dressed mostly in flannel and jeans, with the occasional foray into shorts, had only one real reaction to the sight before him. Well, two reactions one might suppose. The first was to stare at Rikuyo for how bizarre her get-up was. The second was to stare at Rikuyo for how revealing her get-up was.
Three reactions: "What... gave you the idea to put that together?" Ron asked, slowly, as if trying to process the question even as he asked it. "Wait, sorry, sorry, my bad."
He shook his head.
"Is that the fashion where you're from?" he asked, genuinely this time, as his eyes went back to Rikuyo's face.
