Cross Effects 3.0 - June 23, 2016—April 02, 2018

Mordred

Mordred couldn't help but cringe at Corbin's comment that he doesn't like hitting women. The more he behaved in patronizing way the more embarassed she felt around him. At a surface he initially looked like a decent guy and Kuro did behave in appropriate way, but Corbin now continued to behave in a way which belittled the white haired girl, even if he witnessed first hand how capable she was in a mind.

Then, the white haired girl told Corbin to stay out of her mind, pointing her sword at Corbin's throat. Judging from her tone, she seemed to be serious about her accusion. Mordred did not reach for her weapon but gave Corbin a stern glare.

"What did you try to do to her? Better explain yourself or her hand might slip..." She said coldly.

[Kat]

Petra

"No, don't try, you are going to not get into a fight. Or you know, I'm gonna smack you in that white haired head." Dante quite nonchalantly promised that he would try. If he fought Forest it would not sit well with Petra, so she gave him a forewarning. "Capisce? If so, let's go to the district. We should head back where the bar is and then we will go back the same way I reached the bar when I headed out of the district."

Rikuyo

"Oh, okay, if you say so." Rikuyo shrugged. She honestly didn't care about other people, but if Ron-kun insisted, then she would do it since what he said didn't bother her either. She handed over the shirt to him and put on back her black shirt. "Go ahead and buy it for me."

[Elf]

Corbin

Corbin didn't move, didn't even flinch, as Kuro lifted her magic blades to his throat.  He eyed her and said, "You didn't like that, did you?"

His aquamarine eyes met Mordred's as he said, "Look, she's powerful and all of that, but that doesn't matter if someone gets into her head."

"You didn't like me in your head?  Well, I'm like an idiot with a coloring book against fucking Leonardo da Vinci when it comes to some of the other vampires and their telepathic abilities.  You think my little suggestion sucked?  Kuro, there are vampires who could probably make you their meat puppet while you helplessly watch.  Yes, you might be able to strong arm a vamp or something else nasty, but don't go half cocked," Corbin said with a sigh and shake of his head.


Rin

Rin smiled at Liseth and said, "Pulling out wads of cash would just look like you're rich.  Pulling out stacks of precious gems is slightly different.  Besides, I really don't want to see someone exploit you."

She grinned and said, "Well, more than I plan to anyway.  Come on, let's get inside before you freeze.  Sheesh, Dante was wearing that coat and didn't offer to let you borrow it to keep you warm while we walked here.  What a delinquent."

Enjoying Liseth's blush, she gave her hands a tiny squeeze before letting them go and turning to Sakura.


Gabriel

Emily's cries urged Gabriel on as he gripped her hip with his hands.  He felt her flex around him, but it wasn't enough.  It was too soon; the almost extreme sensations were almost muted for him.   Even though Emily's own bliss was coaxing him on, he wasn't anywhere near ready to let go.

So he slowed his thrusts down and just enjoyed the feel of her around him, giving her a chance to rest.


Forest

"Well, that's why modern refrigerators are built with insulation to keep things cold for at least 24 hours if there's a power outage," Forest said with a smile.  "And if it's after that, ice can be added to help keep things cool.  Now if there's a power outage people do have their own contingency plans.   I even have a gas power generator if push came to shove, and I can kind of muddle through using a HAM radio in lieu of my cell phone."

She did chuckle shook her head.  "I sleep in a basement because it's easier to climate control."

And keeps out the daylight.

Rider

Rider's eyes widened slightly at Oka's words, surprised that the girl had apparently never heard of her.

Huh, I guess her world must have a very different history, she thought.

Before she could say anything, though, Oka broke into a sprint for the house.

And I know I'm really fit", she said as she sprinted away from Rider. "Nobody can beat me in an endurance contest."

Hearing that, Rider smirked. Deciding to have a little fun, she ran after Oka, quickly catching and overtaking the girl, her superior speed obvious, before slowing down once more to allow the girl to run alongside her.

"Well, I don't know about that", she responded, smiling.

When they arrived at the house, Oka opened the door, letting herself in, followed by Rider.

"Would you like a bite to eat?" she asked. "We have some pizza left over."

Rider looked at her thoughtfully for a moment. Obviously, she had no real need to eat, but she did enjoy eating, and she had noticed her supply of magical energy become noticably lower during her walk, so some extra energy would be useful for a top-up.

"Hmm, yes, that would be nice", she said with a smile. "But, only if you don't want it. I can always get food later, and I don't truly need to eat anyway, so don't.deprive yourself for my benefit".

[Panda]

Emily

The Changeling groaned as he slowed down his thrusting, her breathing slowing as she managed to catch her breath. Taking a few more moments to recover, Emily started to move against his thrusts, her inner walls clamping down around him with a grip just short of vice-like, loosened a little by their previous exertions. Each thrust drew another moan from her, his length driving deeper still as that familiar tension began to build anew.

Sakura Matou

Sakura looked on at how Rin was acting with Liseth longingly.

I want that.

She wanted Rin to turn around and pull her into it, to play with and tease her, to treat her like the little sister she'd treated her like as a kid.

I deserve that.

She'd thought things would change after the Grail war. She didn't think it was unreasonable to have expected that. She'd thought Rin had had an epiphany near the end of it, when she finally showed her the love she needed and deserved.

So why is she treating me like this?

It wasn't fair and it wasn't right. She'd promised her that things would change, but they barely had. At first she kept her word, but then Shirou had gotten his body and she'd gone straight off to London. She hadn't minded that too much at the time, she had had Shirou and Rider, which was a dream come true on its own.

But now, Rin was here. I've—I've done everything I can think of to help her! What more can I do? She wondered, wanting to cry but holding it in anyway. She didn't want to make things worse. Crying right now was sure to do that. She'd just have to hold it in until she was alone. She was good at that. Hiding her emotions wasn't hard.

But it still made her chest ache when she did so.

Recomposing herself before Rin turned around, Sakura adopted a cheerful expression and smiled at them both. It was a warm smile, nothing suspicious or off about it at all, but...

Deep inside, her eyes told the real story.

Sakura gently took Rin's other hand and began leading them up the path. She wasn't sure why she had grabbed her sister's hand. She was worried it would even annoy her. When she tried to let go though, she just couldn't. Instead her grip tightened, contrary to what she'd told it to do.

Rin's hand felt nice and warm, though.

[Aiden]

Gadreel

"If the worst does take place," the exile said in acknowledgment of Sir Julius' points, "well, such is why I keep a blade on hand."

Gadreel carefully patted the sheathed weapon he kept by his side, the deadly and bloodthirsty cursed sword that had once slain him centuries ago. He had underestimated its human wielder at the time, believing himself impervious to the man's attacks. The angel quite quickly lost his head for that, and had to take time to reform.

Quite convenient, basements. Do you have to actually sleep during the day, or is it simply a matter of light avoidance?


Ron

He took it, took the tags, brought Rikuyo along with him, and ... then they had to stand in line for a few minutes. They got some stares because of her, but Ron wasn't too bothered by that. People stared at Anne too what with the cowboy hat and her uh, overall appearance. In a good way, that is. Good things to stare at.

Good thing Anne wasn't a mind-reader. Usually.

Finally, he was able to put the money down. There was a moment where the girl at the register gave him a look because he was using money from another district, but she took it anyway. "Thank you," he told her with a nod, before turning to Rikuyo again. "It's all yours' now."

Oka Kurosawa

Oka scowled as Riser ran up the stairs past her. "I said endurance you butt, not speed!" She complained as she ran up the stairs herself, chasing after Rider. "And no, come in, if you're hungry I insist." Oka said as she reached the door, only to find it locked.

"Oh." She said with a frown. "I hope he gets home soon."

[Panda]

Dante

"Alright, I won't," the half-demon said with a bemused chuckle, "If you don't think she warrants it, that will do. So let's go, then."

Well, if she's not actually killing anyone, I guess the feeding on people can be overlooked...

Garou XIII

"WAIT!"

Garou kept looking down as if dead, and yet he spoke. His voice was desperate, angry and afraid. If his face was any visible, one would see the face of a loser, defeated bitterly yet again. But this wasn't about victory, or loss, or anything at all. It was his heart.

"Why. Why didn't you kill me when you had the chance? These chains won't hold me forever, I'll get out eventually. There is nothing good that can come of a monster like me. Why?"

Jin Kisaragi

The blonde turned around and looked at the chained man. "Because I believe in you." With that he turned back and left the cell behind him for now. He went back to his apartment at a nice pace, he had managed to save someone today ad for the first time in a long while he felt like he was doing the right thing. A hero isn't someone who burn down a city.

When he came back to his apartment he noticed something off, well rather two things. Oka was there, she looked cute even when she was frowning. However she was accompanied by a woman who had exceptionally long hair. "Oka, Nice to see you again. Who might you friend be?"


Kuro

The white haired girl merely regarded the man with a glare as he gave his reason for attempting to violate her mind. "I see..." She withdrew her sword before suddenly kicking him right in the crotch. "You should count yourself lucky, that they haven't turned you into a puppet if the difference is so great."

She turned to her blonde friend, the only one she could trust right now. "Are you going to turn on me too? She asked while looking at the blonde, her eyes shone with hurt.

Shiro

Shiro took no time to react.  Before Theodore stopped speaking, she reached into a pocket and emptied its contents onto Numina's back, showering with cherry blossoms, before she lept at the demon with inhuman speed, jumping off Numina's head and transforming into an extremely large fox with six tails  midair., setting herself and the petals on fire as she flew.

Theodore

The creature ceased her little game of pretend and decided to finally act. Honestly, he was relieved, but there was no time for such things. In his position, there was no way to avoid the fiery beast even with his speed. Moving back, stepping to the side, jumping, ducking, all reactions would yield the same result.

So he fell, literally.

Before it could reach him, he sunk into the ground like it was water, reverting to its original concrete-ness as soon as the beast reached the spot. And there he thought he couldn’t fall any lower. Tch, and he didn't even get to finish. The girls in this city were truly deplorable.

Suddenly, as soon as he fell, a hand grabbed the girl by the foot and incidentally dragged her down, leaving a trail of burning clothes where she once stood. The demon carried her inside the earth, only for another arm to wrap around her mouth to supply her with air and swim away like a fish, careful not to make contact with the burning petals now etched in her flesh.


Mary

After a while of sightseeing, the girl had led Alarice around, showing her the various infrastructures such as the Bank, some shops, and finally-

"There, this is a McDonalds. They sell fastfood here, it's not too expensive." She said friendily, dragging her into the warm and affordable restaurant. A fairly long line ran up to the cash.

"We should wait for our turn. Are you sure you don't want anything?" She asked pointing to the menu.

Jeanne

Of course Master and I promise I'll keep him safe from threats. Can't promise he'll be safe from hehe.... The blonde skipped through the door as Shirou held it open. She spun around once she was out, her hair flowing freely around her. almost shimmering in the sunlight as she faced him. "I'm glad you're doing this, Just tell me if there's anything you want okay~"
