Rin
"Well, as nice as the qualities of bravery and nobility seem, they're really kind of foolish in the long run you know?" Rin said with a sigh and a shake of her head.
She bowed her head as she remembered Archer and reflected on her "brother-in-law" before taking another bite. "Especially when you have people you leave behind after doing something reckless like standing your ground when it's safer to run."
Forest
Forest felt hands grab her legs and started to move, but Marcus held fast. He pulled, sending her down and through the door, breaking it in the process. There was a sickening crack as she went through the door, clothing flying up in the air.
She didn't scream.
She didn't panic.
She lifted and bent her legs towards her chest, bringing Marcus's body, or rather, his head, within reach of her hands. Then she balled up her fists and swung one into each ear to box them. As she did that, she began to sit up, wanting to move herself into a position of better leverage.
