Her grin turned a bit sheepish at the offer. "Well, I uhh don't actually have a place. Although I do know someone who might be able to help with that?" Then she took out her phone and called the vampire lady who she'd talked to way back when she first got to the Nexus.


Lucy

"Well, so far it seems pretty evil overlord takes castle from puny weaklings and uses it as his base of operations. I think he might take you as a decorator. Or a maid. He seems to like those." Then Lucy simply had Asmodeus go up and unnecessarily stick a finger in Raf's head to give her the directions to the place.

"Now then, while we ride you should tell me all the wonderful things that happened during your wedding night. I heard there were chains!"

[Elf]

Rin

Rin looked up at Joe and smiled at him, not letting him go.

She answered, "Well, first off you could learn how to use a gun and get a permit to carry one.  I could figure out how to make magic bullets for you too if you use a revolver.  Then with physical conditioning we could work you into martial arts."

Forest

"Oh that was reflex," Forest said with a smile, "I mean, I could have ripped your heart out with my bare hands."

Then her phone started to ring with her generic ring tone.  Blinking, she answered it, "Hello?"

Rin

Rin chuckled at Joe's enthusiasm and smiled with a shake of her head.

"After a big meal like that? You'll just make yourself sick. Now after we let our food settle for a while it should be good."

She tilted her head and asked, "Did you still want to see a movie?"


Forest

These would look good on her, Forest heard Marcus think.  Tilting her head to look at him, she saw him looking at some panties.  She chuckled before walking over to him, not making a sound as she did before wrapping her arms around his waist.

She rested her cheek against his back in a hug. 

"I don't think those would look good on you," she said.


Roderick

"Cars?" the half-elf said, the word awkward on his tongue.  "What is a car?  And it is the year 1493 DR of course."

Olgamally Animusphere

"Um, DR? Oi Oi Oi, you're even more lost than me aren't you?" Olga asked. "I'm sorry to hear that. Would you like to learn a bit more about this world?" The girl asked. "I wouldn't really mind teaching you the bare basics."

"Oh hey, Forest. It's Jasey. Is that offer to stay at your place still a thing. I really don't need it but I've got a friend now soooooo..." She trailed off as she absentmindedly materialized and played with a machete. Eventually lifting it up to use as a backscratcher.

Joe

Joe tilted his head to the side as he maintained his smile, as if another angle would help him understand hers.

"Oh, I know how to use a gun but im not that skilled with it," he replied, almost happy at his declaration.  He was still caught up in the hug.  This was the first time she made a move on him after all.

Forest

Forest blinked at the person's voice on the other line and then nodded.  "Of course, I'm not going to renig on my offer.  I have plenty of room if you and a friend need it.  Just don't bring a face collection, okay? Or any body part collection."


Roderick

Roderick nodded and said, "I am afraid I am quite lost.  A teleportation spell went awry and I have no idea how I got here.  I would be in your debt if you gave me assistance."


Rin

"Well, you can get better then," Rin said before letting him go, "Plus you'll have magic bullets."

[Panda]

Adjutor

"Not really," Adjutor admitted, gritting her teeth at the continued racket from that damned box, "I've not been here long, but there was this one burger place that I've heard some good-"

Finally having enough, the monster hunter turned on her heel with a strange fluidity, thoughtmetal coating her arm as she punched the dirty white box clean through without a single wasted movement, metal shrieking and mechanisms and what sounded like a fan blade grinding to a halt against her arm before she pulled it out, the mechanism silent at last as she turned to Gojira.

"-I've heard some good things about," Adjutor finished without missing a beat, dusting off her arm nonchalantly, "Wanna try that place?"

"Hahaha....Did that make you calm down? You really did look like you needed relax. Hasn't anyone told you that before?" He then pushed back real hard and wrestled his way back up. Did she truly believe he'd allow her to be the one on top.

"And Black Heart, if there's something you'd like to do say it clearly and with no regrets." He might be laying it on a bit thick now but apparenty you needed to hammer things in to get through to her, she was really stubborn.

Black Heart

The twintailed goddess turned her head away from him and pouted. "I don't want to do it anymore. Try again later." She was really mad he hadn't stopped when she'd asked him to.

"I don't like being tickled. Please just stop if I ask you to, especially if I'm in my small form."

Her stomach suddenly grumbled.

"Um, on another note, where's the kitchen?"

Vanguard

After he had finished cooking the meal, the three set the table and feasted on the great dinner. However, despite his hard work, he found that while the meal was quite succulent, he could not find as much appetite as the others. He tried to finish his portion, but in the end he found that while they could eagerly go for seconds and thirds, he simply couldn't take another bite.

"That was an adequate meal." He said with a grateful smile, trying to ease the tension he was feeling.

"I must say, the decor for this kitchen is quite exquisite. It is a shame your sister couldn't join us though. Is she doing well?"

Sakura Matou

"Oh, she's fine." Sakura answered casually. "She's adjusted pretty well to the Nexus." She'd been watching him eat, and knew he was uncomfortable for some reason. "How have you been?" She asked a probing question, looking for more information about him.

After the groceries had been taken care of, the demon took the liberty to show the monk around a bit, getting him familiar with the different locations in the district. The two were taking a pleasant walk when suddenly, he had a thought. His ears perked a bit when he glanced at the monk, and he couldn't help but be curious himself.

"So, what brought you here?"

He stood up from the couch and turned to the door. Her small form wasn't even small.

Her stomach growling was just comedic. They'd just had dinner, was there no end for her crave?

Oh well time to go eat again. Seeing as she consumed so much energy he only had one choice. To carry her.

He swiftly lifted her by her back and legs, holding like one would a princess.

"If you're insisting on being in that form I'll have to carry you. To minimize the energy consumption of course. Now shall we go?" Not waiting for her answer, the dark mage set off for the kitchen.

Joe let out a sigh.  That could have lasted a bit longer.

"Magic bullets?" he asked.

Mordred

"Did you catch bad luck from me? There was that one day when I got beaten up so much that I lost the count. I think it was before meeting Breeze." The city somewhat calmed down since then, so she wasn't beaten up as much as back then. Obviously she didn't miss those times.

"So who was it?" She asked Oren, and then turned to Sakura: "If they are someone in the list, I think Sakura could handle it. See, if you register at the police, you can claim bounties for beating up troublemakers. Even if you don't want to do it, you might run into one of them and beat them up one day, so registering won't hurt. You might get some extra money that way."

Vanguard

"Oh, terrible. These past few months have been the worst I have lived in my entire life, and I don't know if that says more about this city or myself." He answered casually, to the point it sounded like an unbelievable jest.

"Well, I did manage to provide myself with this body though, so I suppose it wasn't a total waste." He opened the palm of his hand and took some time to observe his arm, or perhaps he was drawing attention to it in order to show off.

"But enough about me. You know, I've talked so much about myself, it almost makes me feel vain. And yet, I barely know anything about you. Surely you've been up to some interesting things, mhhh?"


Costin

Costin wasn't sure what to think or say, but for a moment her face brightened up when Jasey talked with some Forest girl in order to find a place to stay. Then, she managed to overhear the stranger's condition, and her eyes drooped and she looked down sadly, like a puppy who had just been kicked.

"Aww."

The girl wrapped her arms around his neck, her displeasure melting away, at least on the surface.

She was still kinda annoyed at him for the tickling.

"Take me away, then! I demand only the best food you can offer!"
