Rin

Rin watched as Jeanne approached, being intimidating in only the way that a Servant can.

I'm sorry, but compared to Saber Alter, you're not that scary, Rin thought as she listened to the blonde Servant's words.  If Jeanne thought Rin would cower, simper, or even apologize at the might of her sheer holiness or whatever, the Ruler Servant was mistaken.  Instead the young magus held her ground, even put Joe behind her just a little bit.

"Fine, then I'll just be aggressive about it.  I'm trying to have a date here and I'm kind of really bloody tired of people interrupting it to 'check' on me.  Sakura knew why I hadn't shown up for dinner.   Did you ask her, or was she the one who prompted you to come and check on me?" Rin said as she folded her arms over her chest.

The cadre of Servants and Emiya-kun, all on Sakura's side, was one of the biggest annoyances in Rin's existence.  Stuff like this was one of the reasons she really didn't like associating with them, well, that and this version of Rider was really creepy.  And Rin was pretty sure that Sakura, Jeanne, and Emiya were in some weird Ménage à trois that she didn't even want to get into the logistics of.

Forest

"I don't think so, but she does sort of look like Jason from the Friday the 13th movies, but female and kind of hot so I figure it's better just to lay down some ground rules for house guests," Forest answered with a shrug.

Then she eyed him, waiting for the fall out and blow up that was to come.

Roderick

Rhiannon would have blown them off by now, probably looking for something new to kill, Roderick thought as he looked between the two other women.  He envied his twin sister's freedom to go around and just be herself.  Which meant killing undead things because they looked like people so that was okay for them to die (Rhiannon liked animals over people, and the cleric of her group wouldn't have approved of Rhi being a serial killer).

Roderick didn't have the luxury of indulging in the destructive power of his magic right now, and he felt he was being looked down upon at the moment.

"That this was a dimensional convergence, and currently it traps everyone it pulls into it's domain," Roderick said in a wooden voice.

Gabriel

Gabriel looked at the werewolf and pointed at one of his pointed ears.  "I assure you, these aren't a by product of someone's fetish.  I can sense things.  Don't tell me I do not smell . . . different to you," he said as he met the werewolf's eyes.

Maybe he is new to being a werewolf so he hasn't gotten a hang of his senses yet, Gabriel thought.

He did add, "And no, Annabeth did not give away her location.  That was something I was able to find on my own."

"The idea is not wholly unsound, but we must take into account a creator. While an anomaly such as this may occur on its own its behavior is strange. Seeing this is not a ruined hellscape of countless lands imposed onto one another and we have not been crushed under an endless flood of people there seem to be an element of order to it." She conjured a globe of water and sipped from it for a moment.

"It would not surprise me if this entire world was artificial. A construct created by some absurdly powerful being with either very simple or worthlessly complex ends. It would make escape rather difficult. Any ideas? Or do we simply resort to the age old plan of stockpiling magic and power until we can find the answer?" Smirking as she split the sphere into three orbs and offered one to each of the others.

Olga nodded at him curtly and politely. So her assessment was correct. Nothing to be surprised about. The girl snapped once more and made a softly glowing orb appear at the top of the gazebo, illuminating it in the twilight. "I would think the latter for now." She answered. "We should continue to gather information in the mean time of course, but it would be a waste of resources to just throw it at any random lead."

Roderick

Roderick shook his head at the sight of the conjured globe of water.  "Ah, no thank you," he said holding his hand up to it, feeling that he'd need something stronger than water.

Olgamally's look towards him told him all he needed to know.  She didn't value his skills as a spell caster, or rather, thought they were below his and Grigori's.  Which was something he was use to from his mother.

"And how do you propose to gather information?  Magic maybe frowned upon here.  We might be branded as demonic worshipers or worse and then punished," Roderick said.  Even though magic was common place in his world, a wizard was looked upon in higher regard than a warlock. "Or exploited."

His shoulders twitched as he remembered his aunt coming for him, intending to make him a host for her demon lord to possess physical realm.

"If that is the case then we would have had issues the instant I tore open a portal into the fabric of reality in order to test a hypothesis. Seeing as the people did not run around like headless chickens screaming bloody murder and we are not being pursued I believe we are fine. Regardless, there are countless ways to subtly prob for information with an indirect usage of magic." She waved a hand and the water simply twirled upwards into countless thin ribbons that surrounded the gazebo before freezing into beautiful decorations.

Then she weaved a rather basic image, a map of the leylines she had managed to trace out the and concentrations of mana within the local area. "In truth, I suspect most of our work has already been done for us. The world is never in need of information brokers or desperate men willing to sell secrets for bread. What is more important now is location."

"We should keep it on the down low as much as we can regardless. The less people who know what you're up to the better, after all." Olga pointed down at a particularly nice confluence of leylines. "We should go there. She quickly cast a scrying spell, giving her a detailed impression of the area.

"It looks like it's an abandoned warehouse, with only thieves and other slime living in it right now. Considering that I didn't sense any mages there already, there either must not be too many mages here or the leylines shift about frequently. Considering that this place grabs people it doesn't seem too unlikely it grabs places too."

"It does grab places.  Buildings and the like," the sorcerer said, feeling like one of those talking tropical birds that could only repeat what others said.

He stroked his chin and said, "I have a fair bit of gold on me.  Perhaps we don't have to remove them with violence, or we could use the gold to establish our own furnishings and necessities."

Roderick felt his fingertips tingle with heat.  It would be nice to unleash his fire on someone who was deserving of some sort of wrath.

Why anyone would eat this disgrace to the art of cooking? It looked more like a poison than anything passing for food. To cook so badly that it would attract spirits of corruption and malice. She should explain him that he should consider another path than cooking things himself. But first, she motioned with her left hand, touching the plate to exorcise the vile spirits that possessed it. Hopefully the Buddha of Medicine would answer her prayer.

Joe

Joe shrunk back a bit as Rin repositioned herself in front of him, standing up to one of Sakura's superwomen.  He lightly gripped the back of Rin's shoulder and peered over her back at the armored blond.  "Umm, there is no need to argue," he said in a meek voice.  "I don't mind at all.  I-I did say before I wanted to meet them anyway, so this saves time."

Marcus

It was pretty hard to picture a hot girl Jason, but the idea was certainly a turn on.  The inherent danger of a serial killer was more than enough to enhance a woman's appeal.  He shrugged, discarding the thought as his attention returned to Forest, who was giving him a look.  It was like she was expecting him to do something.

Oh, thats right, he thought.  He pictured the two friends chatting it up.  They looked content, more than happy to exist without any interference.  If they are staying with her, I guess she doesn't need me anymore.  His fantasy shifted to him sitting alone, playing video games or maybe catching up on some Netflix shows. As he sat alone, he could hear their voices laughing in the background.  Well, I guess that's good enough for me.

Marcus extended his arm outward, wrapping it around the blond's waist.  "What's with that look?" he asked, cradling her chin with his other hand.  "Are you in that much of a rush to get home?"

Jeanne

Rin switched over to open aggresiveness and folded her arms over her chest getting all defensive over it. In response the blonde Servant's gaze softened as if she was saddened by it. Nevertheless Jeanne woudld try to get through to the woman.

"I don't think Sakura is entirely happy with me leaving her, and no she most certainly didn't order me to come here. I wanted to say hello to you and that cute guy you're hiding behind your back." She waved awkwardly at him. "You can come out, I'm not gonna bite."

"Wow, your world seems more ordered if even the sky is like that. I honestly don't think that this city is too wretched as some claim. In a way, it looks quite peaceful to me. I'm more like a soldier than a wizard, so I can tell. There's nothing here compared to the northern hosts that threathen my country." Anastasia reminisced about the past. "But I guess you want to catch this Regice. Shall we go, then?"

Oka Kurosawa

"Yes yes yes!" Oka said, sprinting off into the distance with Wormy and Sylveon. She took out another item from her bag and sprayed it around, repeling wild pokemon around her.

"Nice!" He gasped, this was just perfect. "Can you put people in there too? Like, me for example? I might just have an idea..." He chuckled like an evil mastermind.

Coppelius

"Sure, Cap'n, as long as you don't burn it, eh?"

Turning around, Coppelius took a gander at the Nexus' skyline.

"So, you wanna go to my Workshop for now?"

Rider

Having no real idea what to talk about and no particular interest in a conversation if it wasn't going to lead to anything more, Rider returned to reading her book, paying little attention to the actions of the girl sitting next to her.

After a few moments, though, the girl addressed her, disturbing her reading once more. For a moment, Rider was a little irritated, but the very obvious way in which the girl was checking her out as she spoke quickly changed her mind. It was very, very obvious the girl was attracted to her and interested in taking things further, her words only making it even clearer.

Putting on another sultry smile, Rider responded to the girl's question.

"Well, what sort of 'company' would you like to provide?" she replied, her voice dripping with lust.

"Shall we approach the mountain from that direction? Leylines there are good. It's just prudent to pick such pathway where I'm able to fight at my best." Anastasia declared. She didn't know whether they prefered that route, but she was insistent on taking such pathway that would be most optimal from her point of view. "Any objections?"

"Eh? What's wrong mis *moment of realization immediately dawned upon him* ster?" He asked the monk with a curious eyebrow. Was this some sort of prayer before one's meal?  He simply couldn't fathom why one would go to such lengths for a simple meal, and that was coming from the Asian district's self proclaimed greatest glutton!

Meanwhile the bowl hissed, not simply because of its sheer malice but also because of its boiling heat. It was just a special 15$ bowl of ramen with mild spices, meat and vegetables, so there was no way something like an exorcism could fix whatever was inherently wrong with the mass of culinary hatred.
