The pirate soon soared high above the tower's roof and gazed down with marvel at the destruction she survived and caused. The smoke was enough to stop his familiars, his children who had fought by his side so bravely. This was what it meant to suffer the tragedy of war, how he knew this pain all too well...
Yes, this was it, this was perfect! Clashing against her might just enliven him a little more! The worst possible mistake the girl could have committed had already been transgressed, impressing this burning hound was the last thing anyone should desire.
For even he could not control himself when his leash broke, something that was just about to occur.
"HAHA HAHAHAHA! HOW WONDERFUL!! YOU'RE STRONG WOMAN, WHAT IS YOUR NAME!?" He roared with a dramatic wave of his hand, but the three massive fireballs that detached from it might make the answer more difficult to hear as they flew downwards, homing towards their target.
IreneWhat a sodding turn of events. The encounter was stinking from the start, but there was no avoiding that it was a terrible match up against her. Not all psychics were immune to their own powers, but with her foe being a literal burning skeleton, the possibility of using his own fire against him was likely shot. Hardly a deterrent to fighting or
thinking, but it gave Irene a certain ominous certainty. That she would need to put life and limb on the line to succeed.
"Convince me you're worth it!" She yelled in response, rushing like a sprinting cheetah outside the room when the balls of fire formed and came crashing down. A second later, as she put her improvised weapon against her back, they detonated.
Everything in storage was pulverized by the flames, scorching the walls and floor, shattering glass and tearing objects asunder, buffeting a wave of unbearably hot air through all escapes that sent the smoking Irene flying out, only partially shielded from the heat by her burden.
She rolled and smacked over the foor, crashing against the metal railing of a set of stairs before coming to a stop. And promptly hefted the wreck of the charred ventilation box along with her as she vaulted over, jumping down the stairs.
A fire extinguisher would actually go along very nicely right now.
