Huh. Guy was a lightweight. Sakura walked forwards, her shadow rising up and gaining tangible form. It lurched forwards, a soft squishing sound as it formed a sharpened tendril and speared his brain through his eye. It fed into that opening, spreading through his body like a shadowy cancer in mere moments as it thoroughly infested.

Then some real rude fuckers decided to shoot at her. She swung the guy about with her shadow, letting him and it soak up some of the bullets as she nimbly maneuvered around the rest. The guy could be pretty thoughtful with some adjustments! They moved together as one, plowing through the wall and arriving back onto the street as Sakura waved her bat at the cars.

"Hey! Which one of you decided to shoot my new friend over here?" The fleshsack waved its hand at everyone. Polite guy!

"Mhm, it is kinda nice." She replied quietly, continuing to bask in Medaka's warmth. Nobody hugged her before, so it was also something new. Now that she thought about it, Medaka was certainly one large walking novelty. Unknown, a bit incomprehensible, but sparking her curiosity.

The cyborg simply leaped over the lava, landing just behind the pirate.  "You know, the boss is not that naive," he said calmly, his mind focused completely on the battle.  So long as the boss considered that man part of the gang, he would not fight him.  However, he couldn't help but think this man wanted nothing more than to break apart their gang.  If he insisted on fighting him, he might have to change his policy.  Still, for now, it wouldn't hurt to keep him out of the battle.  The planes were almost here.  Before long, they would appear in the sky.

Ryuji

The pathetic cosplayer just sat there, unable to really process what happened.  He was curled up in a ball, sitting on a ground that was supposed to be chard with his enemies remains.  "I am sorry boss," he said.  "I guess i'm not good, even as a strong guy."

Hazel

Just as she was about to touch the girl, she vanished, the only evidence of her existence being a bunch of gold particles shimmering in the air around her.  With no body to catch her fall, she rolled onto her foot, tapping Ryu and instantly dissipating the magical fire on his body.

She took the cigarette out of her mouth, giving a heavy sigh that released an enormous puff of smoke that surrounded the two gangsters.  "It's ok Ryu.  This is just some arrogant bitch Lorenzo picked up.  Well, at least we don't have to test him anymore.  We know where he stands now."

Parker

The man absorbed the hail of bullets, all of which ripped through him like wet paper.  The bullets were enhanced so that they would easily rip through tanks, so his body was no match.  Just like that, the man known as Parker was dead, nothing but a corpse.

The men flew through the streets taking the full brunt of the attacks.  The other side that she neglected opened fire again, spraying her with the enhanced bullets, intending on finishing her off with one final attack.

Medaka

Medaka finally pulled away, maintaining her smile.  "There you go!  You act like that was your first hug!" she teased.  Now that she thought about it, the girl was a soldier, she was probably socialized in a colder environment.

"Umm, because it probably was." Anastasia just bluntly admitted that. "I don't think I understand you much, but you're a pretty intriguing person. Do you have really nothing to do? If so I really don't mind then if you visit my modest place. You can even crash there if you have nowhere to go for some reason."

"You do not need to worry, while the nature of such an advantage may seem unfair in a direct combat, that isn't what this tournament is solely about. If that is your specialty, I am sure we can find a way to make sure you and your opponents will shine." He smiled at both kindly. Something about his stature seemed to radiate an ancient gentleness, like that of ancient drakes who would protect old mountains. Perhaps the best way to describe this demeanor was heroic, in the purest sense of the world.

His body was large, his voice deep, but rather than imposing it almost gave off the impression of a shield one could stand behind.

"Do you have any other questions? This may be a tournament, but I wish it may be enjoyable for our audience as well as the players. I do not mind, in fact I would prefer if you were able to sign the documents with utmost ease."

"Oh my, that must explain all the ruckus. I swear I had the strangest of dreams, one of lightning an dragons. Surely my imagination must be running wild, haha." The demon sword sounded oddly pleasantly content despite the rough awakening and the tension. No, it was more like he was simply a serene person, one who did not wish to upset or be upset in the first place.

"Her reasoning is not absurd, but I see where you are coming. This magician is quite the rude young lady, how troubling."

A ghost appeared behind Lizzie, its hair blue and its eyes only matched by its smile when it came to sincerity. His hands were resting in his arm's sleeves in a dignified manner.

"It is dangerous to meddle with the order of life, even for good causes. I have seen many calamities come forth because of necromancy, It is a taboo craft for a reason." He told both solemnly.

"It can also cause great sadness for some to see the corpses of their dear ones move against their will. On the other hand, being able to speak with the departed can grant the living useful insight. Sorcery of this kind is not inherently good or evil, the caster is the one to determine that."

Auspicious Breeze

A thought made a sparkle shine in the not-so-former gladiator's eyes! Her hands were held in front of herself now as she leaned in to ask. "Are there... cheerleaders?"

Breeze had heard of these mythical beings, cute girls in short skirts who jumped and flipped through the air while encouraging you to succeed! It sounded so wonderful, and she wanted to see them for real herself!

"Eh?"

The hero was dumbfounded, blinking once as if he had just been sucker punched. He lookes as astounded as someone who cracked a cookie into his mouth, only to realize rather than chocolate, he had found raisin.

"O-of course! Just what kind of tournament do you think this is, some cheap underground ring?" He pouted. "Of course we have cheerleaders, how couldn't we? There is no way we would forget something so essential."

"Other than train?  No, I don't," she said with a nod.  "But I can't believe you would trust me so much that you would tell me where you live."  Once again, she was just teasing.  However, she was glad the girl didn't see her as a threat anymore.

Lorenzo (Due to issues, the previous interaction has been retconned)

"Heh, heheheheh..."

Flames flickered and shone brightly in the back-alley. This was just great, amazing even. The clicking sounds reverberated past the street corner, furiously tapping like machine-guns. This machine stood no chance against him, not this time. He had given it more than a hundred coins, so this time the match would be fair and even.

This time, he would reach the high-score and claim his grand prize. He would show his skill was supreme, this challenge of reflex and skill was not one he was going to lose this time. He would show this puny pinball who was the real captain.

"Almost 1,000,000,00 points..." He chuckled to himself smugly.

Only for the ball to slip past his guard once more, for the 100th time, causing his road to victory to end one point short.

"GRAAHHH, Stupid machine!!" He roared indignantly, kicking the damned cheating machine. Luck was on his side this time, he was sure of it, so why? Why? Why!? "Tch."

He searched his pocket once again, looking for any penny, practically churning them inside out.

The CPU of Planeptune was standing behind Lorenzo, watching his desperate struggle against the arcade game. She almost felt sad seeing this total noob at play and wanted to help him along. Of course he hadn't noticed her yet, so the setup was perfect for an epic prank of absolte epicness.

"Here you go pal."

A cheerful voice replied to the firey skeleton as the he needed penny was dropped in his hand.

Irene

The revolving lantern of her memories swung wildly through the faces of a myriad of people. Some were family, some were friends, and some were even enemies.

All of them had had a part to play. There was the snappy Professor Edwards, with his freckled chin and unquiet eyes; the lightning-witted lady Ariane, with her sun-kissed smile and ebony skin; the strict but wise sifu Shang, with his bespectacled glare and crude raise of the brows; her courageous father, with his sloppy grin and handsome gait; the impossible Gourmand, with her lethal larceny and masked trickery; and a child whose name she didn't recall anymore, who was left on the grass when young Irene climbed up a tree to run from a loose dog.

The dog did not hurt the child quivering in fear on the ground or the one cowering in hesitation on the tree before an adult scared it off. But it could have. And that child could have been anyone. It could have been one of her cousins. It could have been her unborn little sister (it had to be a girl) and Irene would have left them to the dog's mercy in her own fright.

She should have cried and she should have been angry, but remembering was a half-hearted hurting that had no resolution. She couldn't stand it. It made her hungry.

Lorenzo

"Eh?" The skeleton almost jumped, startled only to turn and see the all too familiar purple head. "Oh, it's you Neppers. Nice seeing ya here!" He greeted her, with a cheer, rubbing the back of his skull in embarrassment. She didn't notice that did she?

"No need. This game's clearly rigged. Honestly, people these days sure are idiots to fall for tricks like these." He flipped the coin dramatically and caught it with a flick of the wrist, performing a dramatic move only to open his palm, no coin in hand.

"What's up? Doin' alright?"

"Nope~" The maid replied.

Now they were finally clear of that pesky crowd. if they'd stayed there for even one more minute she probably would have snapped. There was nothign worse than having people peeking on your private time. But now they were in the clear and she could have all the fun she ever wanted.

"I've never been carried like that before... you took my bridal carry virginity." She joked.
