Aruna

Aruna's mouth stretched into a devilish grin as the woman made her flamboyant introduction.  She could practically see her natural bloodlust as she made her stretches.  Yes, this was familiar territory, monsters that simply wanted to carve their place in a world of humans.  Although, she seemed more like the demons of old than the more modern incarnations.  Perhaps there was some time travel involved?  Although, it is possible she was merely a traditionalist.

The sound of her enlarged bicycle sized wings flapping in the wind was all that could be heard for the few seconds it took her to think.  "Well I do come here to hunt when I am feeling down," she responded.  "The privileged humans tend to scream and beg more than the poorer ones.  Besides, the ones here have souls so rotten you tend to feel less bad when you find out you gave them PTSD."

Destoroyah:

"My, my, my~" Destoroyah looked at the stranger with new respect in her eyes, "I misjudged you, stranger~. Allow me to introduce myself-"

The Mahou Kaiju did a half bow, neither breaking eye contact or losing the smile, "My name is Destoroyah. How about we go and have ... Ladies' Night Out~?"

Aruna

Aruna rose to the highest building she could find.  The demon was not ready to head home yet.  Atop the building, she found another woman pondering just as she had planned to.  Coming up from behind, she said,

"I take it you come here to think as well?"
Destoroyah:

"My. My, my,my,my,my~" Destoroyah could hardly contain her mirth when she took stock of the newcomer. The other woman looked like a whore, that outfit catering to the fetishes of the disgusting men below. She was a fly that stumbled upon the spider's web.

The mahou kaiju rose to her feet, bottom pair of wings locking claws to form a dress. Slowly walking towards the stranger, Destoroyah opened her mouth, "I can't say I do," she spoke in a somewhat sing-song voice, "I just arrived here just a little bit ago~."

The mouth-like pincer on the monstrous girl's tail did a quick stretch, readying for the strike. Draining this woman to a husk, snapping it in two, and tossing the bodies down to the night-crowds below would make for a good introduction to her new reign of terror - and the extra bit of mana wouldn't hurt, either! She could use it to turn the area into an even larger crater than she was planning! "Just was up here to get the layout of the city~," Destoroyah said, putting on a faux expression of confusion, "Say, you look like you know the streets, can you show me around~?"

Destoroyah, ~10:00 PM:

A demonic figure sat on the edge of an eight-story-tall building, gazing at the streets below. She was a newcomer to this city, one trying to make sense of it all. Crimson hair flowed in the wind, caressing her chitinous armor and folded wings. Her face almost scowled at the people below...

During her short time here, Destoroyah came to realize that the people here are cut from the same cloth as the small, pathetic people back home. They were insects, really. Insects that live because she allows it. Insects that will die whenever it strikes her fancy.

A manic grin overtook her scowl. She had to bite down on her thumb nail just to keep from cackling. Yes, they were insects, crawling and chittering around each other. And she is now their god...

Thorra

Thorra furrowed her eyebrows and curled her toes back, clicking her tongue in annoyance. "How complicated." She finally said after a moment's thought. "So it won't be easy to find her after all."
Mothra:

A sad smile graced Mothra's features, "It won't be."

She leaned her head back on the couch and closed her eyes. Yeah, it won't be. Exhaustion was kicking in, the sun has set, and there's nothing they could do right now. Th.e idea of sleep was creeping into her mind. Opening her eyes, she leaned forward again and took another sip from her glass. "I-I think I'm gonna head to bed here soon. D-do you have a place to sleep tonight?"

Thorra

Thorra nodded. "Yeah. I was planning on sleeping there on the table, where I am right now."

She pointed at the hammer.

Thorra

Thorra smiled, but she wasn't interested in the water. She quite simply had no need of things like that, except for fun. Regardless, she wasn't going to refuse her host's hospitality.

She was, however, far more interested in the computer. She took it from Mothra and began the slow process of booting it up, and took the oppurtunity to drink the water.

After a couple minutes, it had finally logged in, and she excitedly opened up an internet browser.

With blinding speed, she typed in "where are there dragons" ans pressed enter, before opening a second window and searching up a blond elf of mothra's description.

The first search gave her quite useful information. There were dragons known to both be in the enormous forests to the north and the mountains to the west. The second though, was no use at all. It was as if this Eruraviel had just appeared recently. There wasn't even a mention of her anywhere, really.

Thorra frowned. "I thought that this was supposed to get you answers to anything."
Mothra:

"Kind of," Mothra began to explain, sitting down next to the blonde and sipping her own glass.

Only to lightly blush again.

"T-think of it as some sort of library," she said, "And the web pages l-like books. Somebody has to put the book on the sh-shelf before others can read it. If nobody uploads information, it won't be on there."

Thorra

Thorra shook her head, laughing. "No no, I don't really need to eat. It's mostly a pleasure thing for me." She replied, hunched down a bit so she didn't break the ceiling. She sort of crouchwalked over to the couch before setting herself down on the coffee table, plopping her body onto the couch itself. "Thanks. I'll make sure to repay you properly once I get some money.

She looked around. "Do you have one of those things that connects to the interent? There's so much good research on there for the mundane stuff!"
Mothra:

"Oh, d-don't worry about paying me back," Mothra said from the kitchenette, "I don't mind having guests over."

'Even if she doesn't need to eat, it is still rude for the host not to provide something for the guest' Mothra couldn't help but think, her generosity dominating her train of thought. 'Well, maybe a glass of water would be okay.'

The teenage kaiju quickly grabbed a pair of glass cups, filling them up at the sink. "Do you have one of those things that connects to the interent? There's so much good research on there for the mundane stuff!" she heard the blonde bombshell ask.

"Uh, yeah, sure, just lemme get it." Mothra jogged the short distance to the coffee table, depositing the two full glasses of water before making her way to her bedroom. Snatching a brick of a laptop from the tiniest desk imaginable, she brought it back to Thorra. "I-it's kind of old, though. Doesn't run all that fast and it takes forever to boot up."

Thorra

The goddess to be landed on Mothra's balcony after receiving a bit more direction, and finally put the fragile little girl down. She stared at the threshold, and frowned.

"Everything in this city is made for ants..." She grumbled, shuffling as she waited for Mothra to let her inside.
Mothra:

Mothra almost stumbled when Thorra finally put her down. But, by god, has she never felt so happy to be on hard ground.

She took a few shaky steps to the door, taking the key out of her pocket and fumbling it into the lock. "Everything in this city is made for ants..." Thorra grumbled behind her, causing the teenager to have a polite chuckle just as a click was heard.

Mothra slid the door open, slipping in ahead of her guest to flip the lights. With a flash, the apartment was unveiled to the blonde newcomer - a small living room with a couch, a coffee table, and a small television sitting on a tiny stand. There was a kitchenette next to what is the entry door on the other side, with another door for the miniature bathroom just to the side. To the east of the living room was the bedroom, door left ajar. There was a cluttered tidiness to it all, Mothra trying to make the best of the limited space. There was a bookshelf against the west wall that had an assortment of books, magazines, and movies. With only a single overhead fan, lamps were put in place to fill in the gaps of light - all of which were currently turned off.The couch itself, while having two fluffy pillows, also was home to a plush black alligator with blue spikes.

"Well, uh...Welcome to my apartment," Mothra awkwardly said with a smile, "It may not be much, but it's home. Bathroom's over here, but it doesn't have a, well, bath...Are you hungry? I can cook somethign up real fast, i-if you don't mind instant meals..."

Thorra

Thorra flew fast, very fast. Much faster than Mothra would have preferred, she was sure, but she wanted to explore! Get places fast! Feel the wind whip against her skin.

She hoped that the tightness of her grip was providing comfort in light of her selfishness. The two quickly arrived across the city, within minutes, to the general area where her small friend lived. Thorra glanced at the brilliant, opulent wealth on the hilltop, before shaking her head. She quite simply found such brazen displays of wealth disgusting and boring.

...Unless it was a dragon doing the displaying.

"You live in the valley, right?" She asked Mothra, slowing down as she circled in the air.
Mothra:

"You live in the valley, right?"

That shook the brunette out of her daze."U-uh, yes, yes I do." Mothra stammered.

After a few seconds of circling, the mahou kaiju spotted her dwelling. "Tha-that building ov-over there," she pointed.

The building itself was rather...boring. It stood only six stories tall, each apartment above the first having a balcony which was separated from its neighbor by a divider. While it didn't have the utilitarianism of brutalist architecture, what little features it did have weren't enough to make it pop from its surroundings.

But it was affordable, safe, and most importatnly, was home.

Thorra

Mothra found herself unceremoniously hoisted up by the giant and tucked neatly under her arm. "No need to walk. We can get a better view from the air."

Thorra leapt up with explosive force, and soon, they were soaring through the night sky. "So, which direction should we go?"
Mothra:

When the blonde shoved her under her arm, all Mothra could do was squeak an "Eh?"

When she launched like a goddamn rocket through the roof of the grimy gas station, Mothra practically shrieked. The teenager suddenly became quite aware of her own frail mortality while in her human form. Especially since they were well over a couple hundred feet at this point. "East! East! East! Easteasteasteasteast! Waaagh-gh-gh"

This was different to her own flight - she had control when she flew. While she didn't pick up any ill intent from her new companion, an accidental drop from this height down to the concrete below would not be a fun time.

Thorra

Thorra scratched her forehead. "A year, huh? This city does seem pretty crazy, but what you're describing is even crazier than what I'd figured."

She stared into the sky, and then burst out into a joyous smile. "But, it does sound perfect for me. Chaotic situations are great for strengthening my legend."

She offered Mothra a hand. "Let's go find a nicer place to talk. Do you have a drawer or something I can sleep in at your house? Maybe a pillow?"
Mothra:

Sleep, huh? That does sound lovely right now. The weight of the day was bearing down on her. As for the blonde woman...She couldn't turn her away. It's not wise, but Mothra couldn't just leave the newcomer behind, especially when she gave her some much needed emotional support.

"Yeah, sure I do. But it is going to be a little bit of a walk."

Silana:

The raven haired woman stiffened, wincing from the evident pain. It stung, and it hurt, those claws. She could tell they could hurt... the cold tendrils of fear coursed through her, but she pushed them back. Her struggle died down, and she was in a place where perhaps she could unleash her total (non-)existent powers! But not when claws were for her throat.

Slowly, she nodded her head, awaiting the moment her lips were free to speak through.
Horrigan:

Target sighted.

The she-claw was tucked down in the alleyway, holding onto a dark haired woman.  Frank's footsteps practically thundered in the narrow in-between as he charged in, his hulking frame just shy of becoming wedged. Haluth barely had time to look up when his hand reached over the dumpster, grabbing it by the head and dragging it and its  captive over the trash container.

"I gave you an order," Frank's low growl vibrated the very bones in Haluth's body.

"Master...I..." Haluth gasped, head encased by the armored gauntlet, "I heard...Heard woman plan...Attack! Attack us!"

That gave the meta human pause. His eye lens redirected to the she-claw's captive. Back in the wasteland, he would have laughed at such a notion - he shrugged off plasma rounds, what could such a small civilian do to him? But the Nexus was different, the people unpredictable and unknowable. If there was going to be an ambush, Frank intended to find out about it. The package has yet to reach its final destination; the job still wasn't finished. The contents of the case was being secured inside the designated vehicle inside the warehouse, and from here on out it's an escort job. Frank had a perfect record to maintain.

He let go of Haluth's cranium. "Congratulations, civilian, you get to join us on a walk."

As soon as Haluth released her hold, Horrigan got into the dark haired woman's face, "You try to run, call for help, anything that would even mildly annoy me, I will fill your ass with lead. Understand?"

Thorra

"Oh." The blond answered, simply shaking her head. "No, I don't. I just got here a few hours ago. Wherever here is. It'd be nice if you could catch me up to speed on that fact, because it certainly doesn't seem like I'm in kansas anymore."

Mothra:

"Oh," the teenager said, eyes casting back down to the table as she contemplates how to answer, "I guess...you could call this place a dumping ground.

"people, objects, even places get pulled in. I've been here for about a year, still haven't figured out how or why I came. And this city is unlike the ones I knew. Districts are like..."- what was the correct name? -"City states? Yeah, that sounds about right. City states within a larger city."

Thorra

Throughout her entire story, Thorra continued petting Mothra's head, sending calming sparks through their bodies, massaging her nerves and making her feel pleasantly numb. By the end of it, she found her head resting right up against Thorra's mounds, pressed in between them by the larger woman.

"You did what you felt needed to happen, and death comes for everyone at some point, even the gods. We all wait for the coming of Ragnarok." Thorra said. Her voice had a soothing tone to it, and she felt Thorra's hand finally lift itself off her head, and felt herself get pulled into a tight hug. "I'd be honored to help you in your quest, Mothra. It certainly sounds like this Eruraviel you talk about needs a stern talking to, at the least."

There was an interested tone to her voice brought on by her vauge knowledge of elves. She wanted to finally meet one, and see how they looked like.

Mothra:

After a  sniffle and another round of blushing later, Mothra was collected enough to get down to business. She was hapy that she now has a compatriot in this endeavor, though there are a few hiccups that need to be resolved. "So," she said, still on the blonde's lap, "My biggest lead has...gone to the other side, taking Eruraviel's whereabouts with her. All I have is this device to go off of. Do you have any ideas where we can start?"

Thorra

Mothra suddenly found herself whisked into Thorra's lap within a fraction of a second, head resting against the woman's ample chest. She could feel faint tingles of divine electricity seeming to embrace her.

"Well well, I couldn't ignore that sort of plight if I wanted to. Tell me everything."

Thorra's free hand rubbed Mothra's head. It was large, like the rest of her body was, and it felt like the giant was holding back her strength in order not to harm her. "You have some sort of idea of what happened, don't you?"

Her words seemed to be full of honey, and the woman felt inheirently trustworthy and lovable.
Mothra:

Mothra barely even got an "eep" in when she was snatched up by the woman, face turning an even brighter shade of red as she became fully aware just how *scant* the blonde's clothing was. All of a sudden, the teenager was embraced. Mothra noticed the potential strength her companion had, that it was being held back for her comfort. She felt like an infant being cradled by her mother...

"Well well, I couldn't ignore that sort of plight if I wanted to. Tell me everything." the blonde spoke.

With the feeling of security, Mothra did just that. Much like a child seeking comfort from her parent, she laid herself bare. Tears were forming in the corners of her eyes by the end of it, the feeling of guilt rearing its ugly head again, both for her murder and for her inability to find the person she vowed to save.

Thorra

Thorra handed the thing back after a few moments. "You're looking for someone? There's clearly more to it than that, I can sense the power held within that trinket of yours."

She smiled. "You're not really a normal girl, are you?"

Mothra:

"Well, I, uh..."

Mothra fell back to her seat, once again turning her gaze downwards. Truth be told, she's just too tired right now to continue the facade. "You're the first one who could tell," the teenager stated, misinterpreting what the beautiful lady meant, "Though I am looking for someone - my neighbor's son. He went missing, and I'm afraid something happened."
