So, I'm reading SoE's sheet and something's bothering me a little bit:

Invasion of Minds: Capable of entering the minds of others and leaving a copy of himself that melds with them. This copy gains a complete understanding of the one who it is within. Using this it begins to slowly chip away at their insecurities making them doubt, making them fear, slowly and surly it will eat away at them all the while pushing them towards evil actions. This is not something from the ‘outside’ but rather it is a part of the person making them doubt themselves due to how it merges with them. He generally targets recent events to gain a foothold and dig in from there. The copy will also make it whenever the person sleeps they suffer intense, unescapable, nightmares which ware at the person’s psyche.  This invasion cannot be detected and cannot be removed. A person with it will forever have to deal with the whispers of it, now as simply a part of them, trying to push you into evil.

Is this for everyone?  Or can those with strong mental defenses resist?  (Tom and Forest being the two psionics around here.)

Forest raised her eyebrow at Archer's words.  Because she couldn't read his thoughts, she wasn't sure if he was being mocking or genuine, or maybe some combination of the two.  At his mention of sweeping, she said, "I have a broom in the closet that's a little up the hall and some trash bags too.  Then maybe some mutual brooding won't be a bad thing."

Gabriel watched the exchange with increased interest.  Even without his "sex sense" he could tell, for the first time he could remember, that his godmother was interested in someone that was interested in her. There was chemistry there, definitely, not to mention that both parties were rather repressed.  He sensed that someone had left Archer, much as someone had left his godmother.

"Curiouser and curiouser," he whispered to himself with a smile.

"I don't need much sleep either," Forest replied.  So, he's obviously not a Joe Normal Mortal.  Good.  Then she shrugged, pushing a lock of hair from her face and said, "And trust me, I've rested in a lot worse than this.  Honestly I was going to go change and beat up a wooden practice dummy until it was annihilated before you decided to drop in."

Then she grinned and said, "As for guys falling into and breaking my bed, I could have done a lot worse."

Gonna have to defuse your headcanon Jenn. Nameless Hero and EMIYA weight and measures the exact same height and weight.

Well, Nasu's height and weight listings are bullshit for some of his characters and how they're portrayed in the artwork.

The vampire's eyes narrowed at Archer's teasing.  She folded her arms around her and retorted, "Or maybe some cosmic wanker is just being far too hopeful and putting way to much into things, or maybe you're the one who wants to admit it."

Lord and Lady, am I flirting?  Yeah, I'm definitely flirting . . . With my luck he'll probably freak out when he finds out that I'm a vampire or whatnot.

She did move over to help him with the mattress.   "At least I can still use this for now."

Aren't EMIYA and Nameless Hero the exact same build, it's just that Wada draws him a lot less bulky for some reason? (EMIYA has pretty much the same portrait as Nameless Hero in his normal armor, and the art Takeuchi drew of him for both the special edition box and Glasses Pic both seem to have him about at the same build as EMIYA).

No, I think that EMIYA is drawn a bit bulker.  Best example would be the FH CG of Archer pulling the bow string compared to the Glasses Cheesecake pic. The Hollow CG definitely has him HUGE.  Not that the Glasses pic isn't nice, because it is except for those hands, but yeah, EMIYA, even when drawn by Takeuchi for Extra, is not as bulky as his FSN counterpart.

Which sort of makes sense if you think about it.  Nameless Hero lived in a world were magecraft was pretty much dead right?  So he didn't get into the tracing and what not that EMIYA did.  He wasn't mounting swords onto bows and firing them.  He was using guns for the most part if that CG in Extra is correct (and his choice of decor in CCC).

Forest's eyes widened at the implications of her words; especially since Archer called her out on it.  She bit her lip, her eyes narrowed, and she replied, "That's not what I meant . . . Not at all.  That's . . . Bloody hell."

Forest sighed at the loss of her bed, even though she didn't find herself severely annoyed about it.  I can order another one.  I've slept in worse conditions.  Plus, it's not like I have a shortage of beds . . . Or anything.

She did grin at his offer and said, "Thank you.  You know, for taking responsibility and all of that."

If she had been able, Forest would have blushed at that.   

Then of course, her thoughts trailed to, Well, I would have been happier if you broke the bed when I was in it . . . She quickly banished the thought, shook her head, and replied, "That's me full of bloody surprises . . . I'm Forest by the way."

There was a flicker in his gray eyes, a slight flicker of light as his voice changed sightly when he proclaimed his luck.  "Well, if you're not an evil monster then maybe?"

Oh.

Forest wondered if the Archer upstairs had a twin brother.  The faces were identical, but the man before her was at least a good twenty pounds of muscle heavier than Hakuno's body guard.  On second glance, she reasoned they weren't exactly identical. 

Their scents had subtle differences.  There was something about this man's scent that made her want to bury her face into his neck and just inhale.  Then there was the haunted look in steel gray eyes that the other man didn't have. 

Not to mention this guy was a little bit snarkier.

She smiled at his flippancy, shrugged and said, "You're not the first person to have this happen to.  Well, you are the first person to crash land in my bed.  This is Nexus City.  Sort of think of it as a place between worlds that sometimes people, places, and things gets thrown into. Which sounds like crazy talk, I know."

Gabriel had been heading to the kitchen when he heard a crash come from his Godmother's chambers and a knock on the door.  His mother tilted her head, smirked, and said, "It is the werewolf.  You see if your dear Godmother hasn't done something ridiculous to harm herself.  I will see to Mister Teems."

Then she shadowed away, leaving Gabriel to shadow to the bedroom.  And he smiled at the sight of his godmother appearing fairly dumbstruck with the man who had just crashed into her bedroom before moving to where he wouldn't be noticed.

Wynn smiled as she opened the door, leaning on it ever so slightly.  She said, "You look well, Kyle."
