 Fairy Fencer F (http://www.compileheart.com/fairyfencer_f/) is a JRPG being developed by Compile Heart's Team Neptune, and published under CH's new "Galapagos" brand label. It'll be published next week in Japan, though it hasn't yet been confirmed for a Westen release just yet.

From what I gather, the world this is set in is littered with "Furies", a series of weapons created by two opposing deities Back In The Day^TM, each of which having a living spirit (Fairy, I think?) connected to them. These Furies are usually snapped up by "Fencers", who seek to wield these Furies for good or ill.

So, for example, Fang (the lead male protagonist) is a Fencer, while Alyn (the red-headed girl in the following video) is his Fury's Fairy. Or something like that.

If you check the website's character page (http://www.compileheart.com/fairyfencer_f/#/chara), each profile has a mini-pic linking to the character connected to that person.
