Yeah, but you could just as easily post "I'm running an RP, I'm not going to explain what it's about, just sign-up and see"....
The problem with your design is that I may well find myself joining it and then come to realise that I don't like it, the result of which will be me losing interest and stopping putting effort into it. Which is very definitely not good for an RP.

I think that I am someone who will always want to get the science right and who would far prefer doing the science in detail.
Certainly, I would far prefer a hard sci-fi story like the last one, that was fun to write. Soft sci-fi will be a lot less fun to write, because I have to keep ignoring stupid science that doesn't make sense, and I don't think I can do that.

Not really. Archer still looks out for Rin and wants to protect her, even in UBW. It's only at the end when he completely snaps that he abandons that, and even then he threatens Gil in order to buy her some time. He might still desire to kill Shirou, but that won't be at the expense of Rin's life. Plus, if anything he'd want her to retain Rider, as an insurance policy in case he is forced to break his contract with her. After all, in UBW he did try to set Rin up with Saber....

Perhaps, but I far prefer hard sci-fi. I'm too much of a scientist to do anything else and not get irritated by the lack of rigour.
I mean, watching it is one thing, but I don't think I'm capable of writing soft sci-fi. I would end up adding in proper science and turning it into hard sci-fi.
