Ok this is a thread for the purpose of discussing role playing game ideas and gauging interest in my case I have an idea, a post grail war game where the player characters are sent in by the clock tower to stop a calamity from spreading

Hmm, what do you mean by this? I mean, Clock Tower Enforcers are not usually the nicest people, particularly by my standards....

Hmm, I see....

Which ideas do you mean? The whole set-up was somewhat geared towards being a full story, and I dunno how to turn it usefully into a one-shot.

Kirei is an unassuming as a character, he could take the book from Rin easily

And Sakura could destroy it any time she likes. She's OK with Rider remaining with Rin, but if she's with someone who is a real threat then Sakura would just remove her from his control.

Also, Rin isn't an idiot. She knows Kotomine can't be trusted, there's no way she'd hand a servant over to him.

Do it in outline then and if the outline is good or bad you won't have wasted time on a huge idea

Well, what do you mean by an "outline"? Plus, that won't necessarily be sufficient for you to see the issues.

OK, if you could get that done it'll make it a lot easier for me to work out where we are....

Like I said, though, the first thing to work out is probably the Sakura aspect of the plot, how she's rescued etc.

And, hmm, I have had a thought about Rider. What if Rin takes the book from Shinji? I think that's more plausible than her using Rule Breaker on Rider, and it would give her control of Rider in a way that Sakura can actually reverse if she desires to (by simply destroying the book). But, she might not want to initially, because that would mean revealing she's a master to Shirou, and potentially having to fight him.

I would much rather know the limitations beforehand. It's really quite annoying to think of an idea and then have it rejected because of some arbitrary problem you didn't bother to mention before I started working things out....

Well, logically-speaking she can do basically anything. Sakura is a devil, and therefore is presumably capable of healing most damage and surviving injuries that would kill a normal person, and there are no limitations on what Caster could have access to, particularly with her magic.

The only limitations on this scene, really, are what I want to see and what you're willing to write. There are very few things Caster actually couldn't do to her from an in-story viewpoint.

mini plots, we know the general plot line, now we need to establish the points that link them.

We do? I didn't think we had a general plot line yet....

And, presumably, the first thing to work out is the arc based around Sakura, since that will come first.

Also, how extreme are you willing to go with it, since she could be very rough, and do some stuff that you couldn't normally do without causing permanent damage (things like burning her, for example)?
