Ok, so the title, thought I'd ask if anyone was a fan of the show, manga etcetera.

I used to love it a lot when I was younger but after rewatching it recently, I felt bored. Mainly due to the filler episodes, the plot could be told in less episodes but this is Toei we are talking about. Some deus ex-machina moments also annoyed me but this is a shoujo anime, so it should be expected to a point.
I haven't read the manga, I am planning to read it and they say it is much better.

It's possible the reboot that's coming out will be a better in that regard. Of course, we'll have to wait until this winter to be sure. Plus I haven't read the manga either, so what all is manga stuff and what all is original stuff would fly by me a bit at this point.
As for me, I saw a few episodes when I was a little girl, but didn't get to see the whole series. I remember liking what little I saw, though I ultimately ended up having Pokemania instead, as milktoast as that anime often was. Still need to rewatch it sometime.

The manga is better despite my own dislike of the art style. Likely the remake will be Kai like cutting out the filler.

Read the manga, it makes so much more sense. Especially the Queen Beryl arc.
And you get stuff like Tuxedo Mask has a personality! Hints that Usagi is bisexual! Also, Usagi also has a personality and it's very likeable! I like the fact she starts as the whiny, crybaby but quickly develops into this figure that will do anything to protect her friends and loved ones, while not the smartest or strongest of the bunch, she's the most determined.
Seriously, I adore the manga. Its shojo crack, but good shojo crack.

What about the Queen Beryl arc?
I also heard the SuperS arc in manga is much, much better.

There like so much more stuff that makes sense in the Queen Beryl arc that didn't in the anime. There's something semi-spoilerish that I don't want to give away that involves Jedite and friends that is really cool, sad, and makes a lot of sense at the same time.

However, I will say I do prefer anime Rei over her manga counterpart.
