Once Lily was put down, she flipped over and did a one handed handstand. "What I will teach you will be very hard, you must give up yourself and quench all ambition, that is the first and fundamental step on the way." As Lily spoke she raised the flat on her hand, and stood only on her finger, which she then removed from the ground, one after the other, until only one remained, yet her form hadn't budged whatsoever since she started.
" You must learn how to breath, to truly breath in. Not air, but the essence that permeates all. The way is long and requires constant discipline. But it will all become clearer to you as you cultivate your greater self, then one day even you may transcend as I have."
Then with her left hand she pointed towards a giant rock. " Once you have found your center, I want you to shatter that rock with a single strike."

Bang.
A fire bullet had already curved around the tree and hit her head on with enough force to stop her in her track just as she passed through the tree. Lily halted her pursuit and begun walking towards Coconut.
"The last thing you should do is turn your back to an opponent, that equals death. Unless you know what you're doing and are baiting them, but you're far from that level now."

"Be mindful of your environment and what you do."
And with that, Lily heaved up the massive tree that Coco had just chopped down, the ground shook beneath her as she swung the tree towards Coconut, even the air itself trembled.
Lily
Lily merely raised an eyebrow at the generic statement and threw what was left of the three at Coco.
"If you never go on the offensive, how can you expect to win?"
Lily
The projectiles hit Lily as she just stood there and they kicked up a massive dust cloud, once it settled Lily was tisll just standing there, seemingly unhurt.
"Training's over, come down here Coco, I think you need a reward for all the effort you put in today~ I didn't think a succubus would pick up on it so fast."
Lily
"Yeah it's over, but I guess you don't want my special heat infused massage, your body must be so sore after that tough workout but I guess if you don't want it, it can't be helped..." Lily said as she awaited her answer. She was a bit disappointed that Coco thought she was tricking, all she wanted to do was teach the girl some sitauational awareness.

Safely out of the area of devastation, Nanako grabbing a piece of the semi-molten earth near the edge, drawing closer to a tree, getting ready to start her ascent again, when the trunk suddenly exploded right before she could. She could smell her by now, whoever it was, high in the treetops above, but well within range. Her mind raced with all the new information, but her body didn't stop moving, the squirrel girl lobbing the still searing hot piece of earth right at the source of that beam. The tree started to fall over, but that was just fine by her, Nanako catching the tree in both hands, slowing down for a couple steps before caber-tossing the mighty, slightly shortened tree with a grunt of effort.
"ORAAA!" she shouted as the tree went flying from her grasp, right up at the source of that unfamiliar smell, picking up the pace again after she did.
Sage
6:00 PM Nexus Time
A chilling plea cut through her dreams.
The air burned - screaming as an unholy force seared a path from above. The trees groaned in pain - their clonal extrusions torn violently from the earth by an unnatural power. The birds sang in despair - intruders who destroyed their homes, disrupted their cycle of life as they prepared for the brutal winters to come. Then it was gone, the damage done. A blip in the vastness of the Northern Forest, a fleeting interruption of its towering pillars of oak and pine.
They still haunted her dream.
A thick exhalation of acidic comfort flowed forth from the mouth of cave deep within the forest interior. The birds stilled, their heads turned as if to listen to a far off call. The great boughs of the trees ceased their rattling, and their inhabitants let loose a collective sigh of relief as the threat of falling ceased. The promise of growth and renewal trembled through the roots of the world and brought them peace.
But now, she could not sleep.
A cavernous mouth yawned widely as the leviathan woke from its deep slumber. Great blue eyes narrowed and took count of the spawn who gathered around it for warmth, attached to the safety of a once-torpid monster. It nudged them with its narrow snout, roused them from their rest. Mother calls you. Thus, you wake.
Indeed, they did. She could trust them to watch - trust in their fangs and claws, in the fear of the tribes, to keep safe their home.
About I shall go, dear children. The forest calls for a duty kept still too long. The beast's tattered wings ceased to protect them, spreading out in the vastness of their lair and brushing smooth limestone like a lover's caress. The wind whistled against rock in welcome. And now your duty, too.
With a flick of its tail the monster selected from the comfortable pile of treasures which served as its bedding that which was desirable - or rather, what was desired by others.
So that they would desire her.
The vanity entertained its spawn, sending them rolling into wakefulness atop mounds of silver and gold. Ponderously they prepared for their own vigil to begin.
Should my return never come, may it stay so - my greatest treasures live and breathe.
When her vigilant examination of her offspring ended she left to seek and feed, slithering from her hole and taking wing into the night with a deafening roar - a challenge that shook the skies.

Blood stained the snout of Tiamat's child as one of the great beasts of the North melted in its mouth. The woods had not revealed its passing, its victim caught unaware until the final moment. It drank down the slurry of flesh and blood and bone, its head raised to the sky in honor of its prey. Its great hunger abated for a time, and thirst soon followed. It followed the whispers of the trees who knew from when their water came. The trees here were younger than those close to home, comparatively talkative and helpful in its search.
Soon the sky serpent came upon the body of refreshing fluids it sought, but spied from the shadows another already submerged. Such a slight creature, with long hair soaked by still waters. Only its motherly curves prevented the beast from mistaking this one from a juvenile. After a seeming eternity of absolute stillness it retreated away from the bathing lady's refuge, asking the trees and birds and worse for their silence. Only then did it make its move.
A mountain of scales smoothed into flesh, bones cracking to the echos of creaking branches. The monster in emerald terror became the maiden in verdant splendor, flicking long silken hair over barren rolling shoulders. The unfamiliar motion of lips twisting up in mirth to hint at the curtain of ivory behind them. Soil and leaves gathered about her, and the silk of the spiders nearby fell to bind them. They formed cloth and veils the maiden wrapped about herself like a windstorm. The treasures of her trove fell into place upon her body, accentuating its elvish beauty.
Thus camouflaged, she made her way back to the great pool so that she might partake.
Eruraviel
"Then, please call me Eru. It's what my friends call me." She smiled at Sage, but her eyes wandered down Sage's body, taking in every curve, hill, and valley. She waved her hand, and two lithe elvish women stepped out of the woods, beginning to disrobe Sage after bowing. They wore identical white dresses, and looked to be twins. Their chests were modest and their stature fair, but they were by no means unappealing to look at. Their silvery hair flowed down to their feet.
Lily
"Coco?" She didn't shift her gaze away from the armored warrior for even a second as she responded to Coconut. "Stay back! He's dangerous!" Shit, she couldn't guarantee her safety at this distance, not when that man was wicked quick and had that of all things... There was only one to do...
She latched onto Coco suddenly and shot of the ground with apectalurar force. Her fiery wings spread out as they took flight with Lily carrying Coco. Those wings were noticeably more battered than before with visible holes in them, no doubt a result from that strike she'd taken earlier. They needed to get far away, she wasn't ready...
"Are you alright Coco?" She asked even as blood still poured out of her mouth and eyes.
Eruraviel
Eru ground herself against Sage, her butt and balls rubbing against Sage's inexperienced shaft. Her tongue found entrance, but didn't force its way in. Instead, it gently poked Sage's own tongue before retreating. She broke the kiss and then pressed her nose against Sage's, nuzzling her.
"Elves were created by the goddess of pleasure, you know? We know how to make people feel good, almost innately. It's one of our gifts~"

"Oho! Dog am I?" He crossed his arms, thoroughly unimpressed, before staring her down. "Well you better not hesitate then. Because dogs. Like. To eat. Little. Chickens."

The colossal wyrm was more than mere scale and leather to take caution with, but a smooth and well worn expansion of wood and green that spoke of its integral connection to the forest. Wings kin to the boughs of the great trees, filled with softly rustling leaves, enclosing themselves around its pointy-eared companion like a blanket.
'Elves... exceed my expectations in this matter.'
Its soft rumbling tone sent shudders through Eruraviel's body as she pressed so closely to it. Warm folds wrapped tightly around the member buried deep within the dragon's body at the same time one of its claws closed around the elf's hand.
'I do hope my first efforts in the form of your kind were acceptable, too.'
Already the elvish princess could feel an abundance of life stirring within the dragon's body, greedily absorbing everything poured into it.

The dragon's body creaked and groaned like an old tree in wind as it squirmed from the novel sensation of elven cock being pulled forth from its sheath. Bright eyes narrowed at its partner's initial slight, but then a soft and song-like rumble escaped its throat.

Glowing eyes widened in evident shock at the tale being spun atop the dragon's immense form.
'That bears no resemblance to any story to which I am familiar!'
And yet, the princess standing triumphant atop the beast she would seek to claim appeared all too convinced of the veracity of her tale. The wooden wyrm blinked as soft lips pressed against its enormous snout, and nudged the curvaceous elf with it.
'... perhaps. Convince me, or I shall show you why it can be most dangerous to trifle with the heart of the forest.'
Sage
The dragon lifted its mighty skull up from the ground, and turned its immense bulk gracefully about so that its belly was firmly planted on the ground. A great mass of vegetative vines rose up from the ground to lift Eruraviel up before the great beast's face, gently wrapping themselves about her every joint and curve. The hot, acidic breath of the dragon washed over her in a heady mix that threatened to leave the captive dizzy.
'I shall not be tamed, nor spoiled into useless indolence! I shall owe no debt to any being.'
And yet, it did not seek to remove the wreathe of flowers from its neck. After a moment of careful staring it pressed its snout against Eruraviel's body.
'And yet I find myself in agreement with your temptations, Eruraviel. In return for your aid in understanding the ways of this human world, and in defending our forest, I shall be your... pet. For now.'
Sage
The dragon's eyes appeared to light up like a lighthouse at the new benefit suddenly presented before it. As if response to its thoughts the vines seemed to squeeze all around the elf's small body, as if in desire.
'How was it you desired for me to refer to you, again?'
Sage
'Friends...'
The dragon slowly placed its new companion down on the forest floor, the vines retreating from their alleged captive. T'was far too late in the night for more of that form of play.
'Then you may call me Sage - as a sign of friendship rather than convenience.'
It lowered its head to the ground until it was even with its new... captor.
Sage
'Even so, its cry of alert was enough to rouse me. I shall not complain, as fortuitous as the timing has proven to be.'
At the unadulterated praise given unto the beast, guileless and yet oh so avaricious, it pulled itself up onto its hind legs and reared up over the trees. It spread its great leafy wings, catching between their branches the moon's gentle light.
'You may revel in my presence as much as you please, Eru, as I shall yours.'

'I was not always this way - it is a blessing of the wood I so dearly adore.'
The forested dragon took in every inch of the princess who so arrogantly, and accurately, aimed to claim it for herself. As she became lax in her form, so too did the dragon return to a more prone position. Its eyes were drawn then to Eruraviel's back, the head twisting about to get a superior view.
'Your wings, though charming, stink of the Abyss. A blessing, or a curse?'

"Wha- OOF!" The knee slammed straight into his face, a squarely hit blow by a squarely good lass just as his back touched the ground, his legs smashing nothing but the earth. He didn't even see her! He... sort of had it coming, leaving himself wide open like that. Therefore, the hit connected. Therefore, the hit impacted. The cutting beam punched into his back before it ceased to be exposed, piercing into the armour and his back.
"Nice moves!"
You didn't need a million obvious openings. Sometimes, one is enough. Because the hit that should've pushed into tissue and bone slipped. He shifted his head, grabbing the force of her hit, dragging the power to smash her limb off course right next by his head.
But it still hit good, and it sure as hell hurt like a good knee! So she shouldn't mind if he tried to use his legs to push back.... and his unused arms that were just waiting there to try and grab her at that moment!

'I am no friend of demons - but I may also admire beauty where I find it.'
Indeed, it appeared inspiring - for the dragon soon began first to shrink in size, bones cracking like the snapping of branches, and then wood gave way to flesh. A more familiar, less grandiose disguise took the place of the arboreal leviathan from before.
"Indeed, I find I may wish to replicate the feat myself!" The lovely naked elf from before stood beneath her flying companion. From her position, Eru could see the beginnings of wings starting to sprout from Sage as she hunched over in place. "Nnn~"
They were rather tiny, actually.

"Would it not defeat the point if I suddenly looked for all to see like a dragon?!"

"You need to go all the way! If you're going to have wings at all, or else there's no point!"
Sage
"Mmphhm!" It was unclear if the pseudo-elf, her arms flapping about in an undignified manner at the sudden deprivation of air and sight, spoke with the intent to agree with Eruraviel or not. It was only as she successfully extricated her face from the true elf's chest, breathing deeply to restore oxygen to her reddened cheeks, that she managed to clarify. "T-Treasure is a very important matter! But is it not better to have others who can appreciate it with you, rather than to squat upon it alone?"
Lily
The poke missed its intended target but that was because she never intended to poke him the first place. Right before her fingers poked both of his eyes, her hands balled into fists and she boinked him Over the head with the same impossible direction changing technique as before.
"Let me go or I'll really do it." Her thigh muscles bulged as she punctuated her demand by squeezing his throat oh so slightly harder.
Coconut
"DEATH BALL!" A high-pitched, shrill voice screamed down from up high, and the crackling ball of condensed magical energy came hurtling down upon Vanguard at frightening speeds.
Sage
Sage's current form had lovely red eyes, and now they sparkled in excitement at the prospect before her. She grabbed hold of both of Eruraviel's hands and said, "Yes, please!"

Teleportation was nothing new to Sage, and so whilst distracted by the tantalizing motions of her elvish companion's body she was hardly distracted by the transition at all. It was only as the subtle gleam of precious metals drew the dragon's eye that she averted her attention to other matters. She examined every inch of every room she could behold, eyes wide in curiosity and yet frightfully sharp in calculation as well. It was all quite respectable, and yet...
"Do you keep the larger pieces further within?"

Clap Clap Clap....
"Marvelous, what a breathtaking performance, you truly proved that you have what it takes to ruin your own hand, I'm seriously impressed. I didn't think people this dumb were made anymore but you brave sir, you've proved me wrong!"
She put her hands in the pockets of her coat and turned around with the intent to leave. "If you truly wish to demonstrate your full power to me, then go get that hand fixed. Then, and only then will I face you."
Oh right, she needed fetch Coco too...
"Coconut! We're heading back!"
Vanny
He stepped out of the smoke, crackling with power and fury. Veins bulged over his muscles and face. Then, and only then...
"Oh! You sure? Tis but a scratch! You don't need to worry, really!" He blinked innocently.
...It looked like they were going. Oh bummer, and just when he was starting to warm up. He flexed his dislocated arm a bit, and waved it around until a painful crrrack reverbated. Next thing you knew, his fingers and arm was all good.
"Bah! You make me sad. So be it, till the next time!" He pulled his hair back with his bloody arm, before waving with it. But just as he was about to leave the scene in turn, he paused and turned back.
"Oh, wait wait wait! Coconut was it?!"

"Fufu, Sage, my girl." She placed her hand down upon the false elf's shoulder. "Are you ready; to see one of the greatest magical artifacts made in all time?"
A servant elf walked into the room, carrying Eru's dress. "This is my greatest creation so far. What do you think?"

If the green-haired shapeshifter had an opinion on the appearance of the dress, it immediately fell away as her expression became as guarded as a fortress gate. Sharp red eyes examined every inch of the article, and her fingers hovered just shy of the fabric without quite allowing them contact. It resembled the motion of someone realizing they had stumbled upon a sacred place - like a grave.
"How did you acquire this soul, Eru?"

As if by magic, Eruraviel's words brought warmth and color to Sage's fair face. Her hands folded together in front of her, and she swayed on her feet in the manner of an infatuated youth as her gaze wavered between the dress and its creator. "It appears my princess is quite magnificent, then! Such strength~"
Sage
As soon as the elf was fully adorned in her gruesome garment she found herself with a lithe living ornament hanging from her, arms closed around her midsection. "To think you could make marvels so mighty, my little Eru~!"
She lifted the smaller elf from the floor in her arms, practically rubbing herself against her back and the dress.
"You give me yet more cause for gratitude, at the chance to make you my princess."
Sage
That left the dragon to pause momentarily. Her eyes blinked in apparent confusion. "A most unfortunate cost for that outcome," she eventually said while patting Eru's back in consolation. She then placed the true elf back onto her feet, but did not let go. "May we have many truly flawless victories together, your highness."
Sage
A smile made its way across the dragon's elvish face, and as her heart beat most fiercely she reached out to touch Eruraviel's own. "Children are wonderful."
But as she was pulled along she frowned in consideration, looking her new companion up and down.
"I actually believe you are just the right height, Eru. It shall allow you to sit on my lap as though it were a throne."
Then the last part registered, and the dragon blinked in apparent confusion.
Wait, fiancee?
Sage
Most unfamiliar with such sensations against her sensitive ear, Sage shivered delightfully against Eruraviel. "A-Ah. So you are planning to mate with her. That is... sensible." Her hand moved down to her own belly. "Of course, I will have to eat her spawn if they compete with ours beyond what is reasonable."
Sage
"Is that not what you do with competitors' children...?" Sage seemed honestly confused by this, tilting her head to the side in curiosity - and holding her ear with a wince. "How strange elves and humans can be."
Seemingly willing to allow this strangeness to pass, she inclined her head to Eru. "Your seed was most bountiful, yes!"
Sage
Have... one...?
"... I know not how many are to come," Sage confessed slowly, a modicum of caution entering her voice now despite the alluring presence wrapping herself around the dragon's elvish arm. "Should it be more than two, I may allow it. If it is truly that important."
It was most discomforting to consider her offspring in such a manner, but they had been scarcely fertilized hours ago and Sage had not yet quite formed the attachments she knew were to come.
"It shall depend on what you consider fair." Red eyes met purple.
Sage
If the dragon were perturbed by the manner of Eruraviel's negotiations then she did not make it readily apparent. Instead, she focused her attention upward and away from the most agreeable presence beside her and indulged in a considerable amount of consideration. "I shall name the price later," she eventually concluded after such a length of time whence shorter-lived races might have grown impatient. "But I shall agree to this arrangement, should the number of our offspring be greater than 2."
Sage
"I find the number varies to a much greater degree when one of the parents is not a dragon." Sage said this with much gravity and an inclining of the head, before lowering her head as if to receive greater attention. "Now, enough of such formalities, princess!"
Sage
"A-Ahh~" Sage's face melted into a smile as her inexperienced elvish form experienced interesting sensations from having its ears stimulated that way. "This is a most agreeable activity~."
It allowed her to distract herself from the discomfort that naturally emerged from the demonic bargain she had just condemned one yet unborn to.
Alas, such things are the cruel balance of nature.

"... I have many questions."
Because it was at this point that Sage was all but ready to let Eruraviel enter her while standing up, her knees only refraining from buckling due to her own considerable strength.
"I will ask them perhaps in the morning~"
Sage
Sage's eyes lit up immediately, her pupils shrinking to a pinpoint in fascination at the sight before her. Her breathing became noticeably labored against Eruraviel's body, and she shakily reached out to grasp hold of the precious prize proffered unto her. 'Magnificent...', she whispered softly in her native tongue in a manner far less native than was typical.
She looked it over, every inch of it, feeling it up with her elvish form's delicate fingers in fascination. Sage's nostrils inhaled as they passed over the platinum. "Tis a composition most pure, and yet it has such little weight. Its scent fills my senses with the promise of magics yet unknown to me!"
She turned to face Eruraviel, holding the collar up with much questioning in her eyes.
Sage
"Nnnn." Sage frowned, her hips moving as if to remove her tail from the line of fire at that moment. "Cities are most unpleasant places. So many humans packed into one place..."
Sage
The dragon unleashed a fearsome exhalation which was, in fact, the very opposite. "There is always in a crowd the one arrow you least expect that can find a chink in your scales. Also, nature is lovelier."
Despite this audible distaste, Sage began to relax again as she refrained from withdrawing her chin from exposure. "I suppose you shall have to introduce us."
Sage
"It was an expression!" Sage's cheeks did most certainly not puff outward in frustration at this casual dismissal of her most sensible of concerns. "And I suppose I could... trance, as you call it. But I am not tired - I just woke up mere hours ago."
The Great Northern Forest
It was dark despite the early rising of dawn. The light of the sun could not shine brightly here at its apex, let alone at its dim nadir. The divine weapon had to find her way through by sound, by feeling. Throughout the thick wooden pathways of the forest the song of life echoed between pillars of bark - the rustling of the trees, the call of birds in the highest boughs, the cracking of twigs as predatory chased prey. The only exception, Thorra found, was around herself. Wherever she went a sphere of silence radiated out from her lovely feminine shell.
Nothing dared to draw her attention. The closest she got to seeing another creature was the faintest light reflecting off distant eyes above her.
Her prey was watching, somewhere.
Astalan
A deep rumbling discontent echoed through the forest as the great beast's opponent sought to humiliate it with such a casual handling. 'Your candor is as admirable as your audacity. I SHALL END YOU SWIFTLY FOR IT.
And with the brutal confidence that only an apex predator could muster, it immediately proceeded to slam its head down, horn forest, into the ground, and the trees, and rocks and everything in an attempt to dislodge Thorra from its skull. The impacts did far more damage to the environment, shattering it further, than it did to the dragon.

Concern ran through Eruraviel's mind-there were so many things which could go wrong, even were they able to recover her son's body. It could have been mutilated beyond repair, he could have been used to repair or create a powerful arcane item, or simply destroyed by some fell magik bryond her current area of experience. Even then, the divining could fail, and they'd be back to square one, without the smallest of clues.
She kept all of that to herself, and chose to embrace her fellow elven warmth. "It's here." She replied with a tight squeeze. "Just reach into my chest and you'll find it. I keep a small demiplane inside there."

A great shockwave wrecked the store's merchandise as Thorra impacted Nanako's gut. Shelves collapsed, pulverized by the sheer force of being next to Thorra's impact. What followed next gave them plenty of reason to gawk as the deceptively youthful elf, yet more casual a display of sorcery, and of the superhuman beauty which Eruraviel gave little thought to the immensity of. She knelt down by the water herself and, drawing upon the very same mana contained within the lake to start shaping it into something resembling clothing. "Hmm... I can get the shape down fine." She took another moment, and refined the texture of the water then too, working it with both hands until it was a much more refined design, but still fundamentally a liquid held in place by the manipulation of ambient energy.
Jenn was watching with exasperation.

Eruraviel crouched down behind Christina and leaned forwards, wrapping her arms around the human woman and resting her smooth palms upon the backs of Christina's hands. At the same time, her chest was smooshed right against her back. She could feel the poke of the elf's nipples, the gentle throb of her prick against her ass. She planted a quick kiss upon her neck and stood up, leaning back and stretching her muscles. "Let's get into the water now!" She leaned back far enough that she was able to look the witch in the eyes, and raised, or rather, lowered an eyebrow. "Or do you want to eat first?"

Eruraviel's purple eyes widened as she watched Cristina so casually disrobe in front of her. "Oh, you're not stuffy like most humans, huh!?!" She ran back out and grabbed her hand just as she finished tying her bikini, dragging her back into the water. Pulling her along to swim. Almost immediately, small fish began to gather at Christina's feet, and nibbled at the dead skin there, peeling it off and leaving her rejuvenated.

The elf shook her head, bobbing in the deep water with only her head above it. Her ears splashed against the soft waves, watching Christina's movements with rapt interest. The elf leaned onto her back, floating and laying still. Her long flowing hair splayed out around her like a golden halo. "Come on, join me!"

"Brave and able to resist overdosing from environmental mana exposure?" Christina was giving her a Look now, and it wasn't just because Eruraviel was laying face up on the water like that. In one smooth motion the young sorceress pulled herself through the water, cutting through it without resistance, and then settled without missing a beat onto her own back next to her elven host. "This water is probably only safe because of my own uh, heritage."

Pushing the elf proved to be futile. She suddenly sat up and turned to face Christina directly, staring keenly into her eyes. "That's not true-not really. The straight path to power isn't always the fastest or most reliable."

The elf's eyes flashed red, and with a snap of her fingers, the mana rushing through and controlling the water was distrupted, crashing down around her with a tremendous splash. She bit her lip and grinned as the mild pain from the blowback of Christina's spell coursed through her body. "That's not a bad attack, Chris-even by my standards, you have top quality attack magic."
She clapped, and then pointed at Christina. A dangerous, icky feeling green orb coalesced at her fingertip before arcing out towards her like a fell lightning bolt from the depths of hell.

When the water cleared, the elf had disappeared, leaving a tremendously powerful meteor hurtling towards Christina in her wake. All of Christina's spells slammed into each other, creating a tremendous display of magical fireworks where Eru had been only moments before.
She stood in the air behind the redhead, and with a snap, a great etheral hand came hurtling towards her from the opposite direction of the meteor!

An arc of crackling lightning burst out of Eruraviel's outstretched finger, cracking through the air and slamming into the great hands of ice, arcing from one to the other, shattering them both with Eruraviel's full power before finally heading straight towards Christina!

"Wahahaha!" Eruraviel suddenly raised her hands to the sky. Lightning arced upwards from her hands as if she were a sith lord, laughing maniacally. "I'm trying to poach you, her, and anyone you can convince to bring along and found a new mage order! One where you won't have to fight over access to the scraps of power you can gather from the omphalus!" Her ears twitched with delight. "I need followers, you need power-I can open the path to magic you never even dreamed of!"

Eruraviel suddenly teleported behind Jenn, wrapping her arms around her neck in a surprise hug while smooshing her chest around her back. "I'll admit that I'm fond of them," his breath was hitching from Sakura's intense kiss and a red flush appeared on his bronze cheeks, making his steel colored eyes bright.

"Stupid!" The elf kept yelling at her. "That's so naive! Your magic could get sealed—or worse, a monster could instantly kill you before you could even notice, leaving your soul to wander this forest for an eternity! You're just lucky you ran into me instead of basically anything or anyone else!"

Sakura looked at the girl with uncertainty as she hopped backwards and forwards, wondering what she would do next. However, when she heard Arcaena's response, a smile formed on her face for a moment, until it was once more replaced by a look of annoyance as the girl reached out and, without asking permission, drew some kind of magical rune on her neck.
"Hey!" she said, only to be cut off as the girl giggled before speaking up once more.
Sakura began to smile once more as Arcaena explained in more detail who they were looking for, mentally rolling her eyes at the overly-grand introduction, but not allowing her feelings to be visible on the surface. Her smile broadened as the girl finished off, beaming with pride as she stated that they would be able to fix her issues, her words also making Sakura aware of the reason behind the rune that had been drawn on her neck.
"Thank you!" Sakura replied, immediately, overjoyed at the possibility of being cured of the final reminders of her years of abuse at the hands of the Matou, only to pause momentarily as she realised that the elf would surely not provide such a service for free.
"Actually, what would your mother want in return?" she said, a little wary of what the elf might want in return. "I have some money back home, but I didn't bring anything with me, and I don't know if it would be enough to pay for a procedure like this."

Sakura frowned at the girl's response, both confused and discomforted by the thought of what she was suggesting, and a little worried by the implication that she would only receive a second class treatment. Copying her soul sounded like a dangerous procedure, and it was also one that raised potential ethical issues, if the resultant being was sentient. Further, she would also need to ensure that Arcaena could perform the process adequately. Relaxing for a moment, she picked up her cup once more and took another refreshing drink, considering her response carefully before finally speaking up.
"What do you mean by a 'copy of my soul', exactly?", she asked, a little suspicious. "Would it be harmful to me in any way? And would the copy be alive?"
"Also, what is the difference between having you fix me and having your mother do it? Would it affect me at all?"

There was no sorcery like hers contained in the cage of his physical body. But ancient mechanisms turned and sparked beneath his ribs, processing arcane calculus and paradigms as old as a world, and they were no less capable.
"I would not want to impose," he said, looking her up and down in cool appraisal. "Tea will do."
Longirsu was certain now. She and the mobile power source identified by Ib were one and the same. Interesting.

Elf wasn't a denomination he was completely unfamiliar with. But "wood elf" implied there were other kinds, and likely that they identified by their choice of habitat. He doubted that was their chosen native name, but the elves he was familiar with had only a slightly less hazy and eroded personal history than most of the people who lived in the world Longirsu knew. Perhaps he was projecting his expectations of the things that weren't allowed to make sense back then.
He nodded cooly to the woman - he wondered if the objects in her body were regulators, or power containers, but decided he could verify such later - and picked himself up, grabbing the large suitcase from the ground.
"Very well. Please lead the way."

Sakura smiled as she heard Arceana's response, the elf's words and actions ending any uncertainty she had about the whole thing. Arceana seemed to have nothing but good intentions, both for her and for the copy that she intended to make. And the way that she trembled with excitement as she awaited the response made the thought of refusing seem akin to kicking a rather enthusiastic puppy.
