Songbird was still wary of the new comers. But if the Blonde Woman isn't threatened, he'll let them past. He will be listening in, though. The Man-Bird's strength would undoubtedly allow him to tear this building apart to save Forest if he needed to.

392
The Chosen Undead's face darkened. "You're right. What do I know of love? My oldest memory is sitting in a cell in the Undead Asylum. I might have been happily married, I might have only sought company of wenches, or I might even had been celibate. I can't remember.

"But don't you dare call me an empty corpse! I had something to fight for, but it was all for nothing!" The next line was uttered only in a whisper, "All I wanted to do was save my land, and now everyone I know is gone..."

393
"Eternal virginity would've made you a highly sought-after woman in my time period, Bronach. You were simply born in the wrong age"
The Chosen Undead cocked his head to the left at this. "They would have sought her out so that they could be the one to claim her maidenhood, Karna."

394
"At least you vampires have a choice in the matter." The Chosen Undead then caught himself. "At least, most of you do. Sorry, that was a little rude of me. Anyways, I don't remember a time before I carted off to the Asylum, but I do know that I didn't have a choice when it came to my Darksign."

395
"Be grateful for what you have." the Chosen Undead said, forcefully entering the conversation. "You'll be surprised what you'd miss when it is taken away from you."

With that, he finished his seventh shot of whiskey. "I can't even get drunk."

396
Songbird was about to turn the intruder into paste when Forest spoke up:

"No, Eddie!  He need's my help, like you did.  It's okay, Eddie."

Songbird immediately stopped mid-strike. Reeling his left arm back, he cocking his head to the left. Red eyes shifted to yellow as he hesitantly started to flap his wings, intending to go back to the roof.

Then there was a thud and a cloud of dust. Eyes shifted back to red as Songbird landed himself and readied himself in a combat stance yet. The White-Head came! He seemed rather amicable towards Forest before, but that doesn't mean he is a threat now.

397
Songbird let his guard down. That is a big no-no for a being who's one job was to be just that - a guard.

With his eye lenses shifting to red, he  ran across the roof top towards the front of the house. That was where the buzzing sound came from, an annoying chime much like what the Bad Men used they were about to put him through another indoctrination session. Looking over the edge of the building, the Man-Bird could barely make out a silhouette down below.

Songbird's eyes became floodlights, bathing the man below in a red glow. Even Songbird can see that something was off with the person, how he was holding himself and his general demeanor. He was a potential threat...

Letting loose a high pitched screech, the Man-Bird swooped down to the ground below, landing behind the visitor.

"The motto of the Undead is 'If you fall down seven times, step up eight.' I wish that I could believe in it..."

Name: Can't Remember (Most just refer to him as the Undead Knight or the Chosen Undead)
Race: Undead Pygmy
Age: Can't Remember
Height: 6' 1"
Weight: 190 lbs
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Blonde

Scale: Mixed
Strength: E (Servant)
Agility: B (Human)
Speed: B (Human)
Magic Resistance: E (Servant)
Magic Ability: C (Servant)

Weaponry:

Astora's Straight Sword (Reinforced): A holy broadsword he found while traveling in the Valley of the Drakes.

Winged Spear (Reinforced): The Undead's primary weapon. Can be used in conjunction with his shield.

Crest Shield (Reinforced): A shield lifted off of Oscar the Fateless' body. Resists both normal and magical attacks. Reduces magic damage by 80% and fire by 55%. With his natural magic resistance, it nullifies 95% of damage from magical attacks.

Talisman: Enables the Undead to perform Miracle Spells.

Sorcerer's Catalyst: A wand that enables sorcery.

Magical Abilities:

Wrath of the Gods: A miracle that knocks back, stuns, and physically harms all those within a few meters of the Undead. Quite powerful, but limited in range.

Vow of Silence: Prevents the ability to cast magic in an area, including the Undead Knight's Miracles.

Great Heal: A powerful healing spell. Can be used on himself or onto others.

Sunlight Spear: A magical javelin made up of powerful sunlight and lightning spells. It is the Undead's solution o ranged combat, but has only a limit amount of uses without rest.

Homing Soul Mass: One of the Chosen Undead's few Sorceries. This spell produces five seeking soul-mass orbs, which explode upon impact.

Cast Light: Another sorcery. The Chosen Undead spawns an orb of magical light.

*Note: The Undead prefers physical combat over Miracles and Sorcery, using magic to only augment his abilities or to turn a losing fight into a winning one. He can continually swing or stab, but can only do a limited amount of magecraft without resting*

Other:

Mark of the Undead: A black circle located on the upper right chest the Undead Knight tries to cover up in the presence of others. With this, he can never die. Being undead, he neither has to eat nor sleep, but will eventually go hollow and insane.

Humanity: The Undead Knight keeps around twenty of these black sprites in a pouch. These are recovered from the bodies of his fellow man (Though he adamantly refuses to kill others for them). He consumes one of them every time he "dies" to become fully human again.

Souls: Over the course of his journey, the Knight collected many souls. The only ones he has now reside in another pouch. However, not all souls are equal:

1 Soul of a Brave Warrior: 5000 normal souls
3 Souls of a Proud Knight: 2000 normal souls each
14 Souls of a Nameless Soldier: 800 normal souls each
46 Souls of a Lost Undead: 200 normal souls each
15,475 Normal Souls

Along with these are souls who are worth far more; The Chosen Undead also has souls of Gwyn, Gwyndolin, Ornstein, Smough, Sif, Quelaag, and Manus.

Rusted Iron Ring: This ring allows him to travel through water unimpeded. Basically, it enables him to walk in water, even if it is chest high, as if it is dry land.

Old Witch's Ring: Does not provide any benefit aside from talking to the Fair Lady. Wears it out of guilt rather than for usefulness.

Skilled Archer: The Chosen Undead had become accustomed to archery, with both bows and crossbows. However, he had neither of those weapons when he came to Nexus City.

Origin: The Undead cannot remember the time before he was sent to the Undead Asylum. All he knew was that he was a knight of some sort, apparently one who was with a Covenant due to his knowledge of Miracles. Sometime after his imprisonment, a fellow knight named Oscar started freeing many the undead, trying to figure out who was destined to be the Chosen Undead. Oscar was unfortunately killed by the jail keeper, but the Undead Knight escaped the Asylum and begun the journey to Lordran.

It was in that city that he faced many trials, such as slaying dragons, demons, even the guardians and Gods themselves. He became known as the Chosen Undead, one who was to bring about change. But the man was sliding down to the pit of despair. It seems that all he brought was further suffering to those around him: Some friends were becoming Hollows, others he just wasn't able to save from gruesome fates. His kindness was returned with treachery, his violence was met with guilt. It was eroding the Knight, rotting him from the inside out.

It was only after he killed Gwyn, Lord of Sunlight, that he nearly became Hallowed himself. He was presented a choice: To give his body to the first flame and hold back the inevitable night just a little longer, or to allow darkness to reign. Both choices were poor. The former only led to suffering for himself, only for it to be in vain in the end. The other...well, he had seen the Abyss, and what it does; to become the new Dark Lord would be to cause The End.

So, he just sat down, refusing to do either. Giving in to his own pity, the Undead almost became just another mindless husk. It was only for the fact that a portal opened up beneath him, sending him to a city that he neither knows or understands...

Songbird lifted the Bird Door on the roof of the Velvet Room (The owners were tired of him ripping off the ceiling whenever he wanted to get in, you see), and thumped down to the floor below. He made a lot of friends, and was quite excited. The green-eyed Man-Bird started to flail his arms around and chirped ecstatically, trying his best to tell everyone that company was on its way right then and there.

Songbird then told them that he stumbled across another tear (The same kind of thing that brought him to Nexus City), which brought him to this underwater city. There, he met a whole bunch of men in these thick diving suits, along with a few girls with needles attached to their arms. He hit it off with everyone, and invited them to come back through the tear for the Happy Drink that the Blonde Woman is always so fond of.

Of course, no one could understand a word Songbird was saying. Everyone in the Velvet Room just smiled and nod their heads like they always do whenever Songbird tries to tell them something, long since given up on actually trying to understand him. Because of this, they weren't ready for the forty Big Daddies and six Big Sisters to suddenly burst through the front door...

Songbird adjusted his course to the place Forest wanted to go.

So, do you have a name, Pretty Bird?

A name? The Man-Bird was confused by this question. The Bad Men never called him anything special, so he never was particularly attached to any word or phrase.

He stopped this line of thought when he arrived at the five story compound. Songbird landed with a loud thud onto the rooftop; if anyone was inside, they would have known of their arrival. He gently released his cargo on solid ground.

401
Songbird felt the Blonde Woman rub her hand against this leather exterior. He turned to face her, red eyes shifting to green, to see what she wanted

Pretty Bird, you can protect me best if you can get those two out of here,

Songbird shifted his gaze from her to the Suit and the woman he was holding, shifting his lenses from green to yellow. He cared little for those two, but if it was what the Blonde Woman wanted, he will do it. Turning back to Forest, he received the next part of the message.

Quote
Can you carry all three of us and stay aloft?
Songbird promptly, yet gently picked the Blonde Woman up with his right hand, turned back to scoop the other two with his left, and started to flap his powerful wings. The people he was carrying were inconsequential to his ability for flight, far too light to be any issue. After a few flaps, he slammed his feet against a building, using his leg strength to propel him into proper flight.

The four of them were in the air now, gaining altitude. Songbird was just gliding now, not even flapping his wings at this point. The tense standoff between the Monster, the Plant, and the White Hair quickly disappeared behind them.

402
The pain ceased...

Songbird felt rejuvenated. He doesn't understand why or how, but but he felt like he was never hurt to begin with; Songbird did not even feel the least bit tired. Now able to use his right arm, the Man-bird lifted himself off of the ground.

He reached out for the blonde woman, only to just notice the tense animosity in the air. The Monster was still here, along with the Plant and the Suit (Who was now carrying yet another woman). His eyes fell upon the white headed newcomer, who, while not sending off bad vibes, still emanated with raw power. Eyes shifting from green to red, Songbird prepared for a fight. He placed his twenty-five foot tall frame between her and the three major threats, while still keeping an eye on the Suit close by.

Emitting a growl, Songbird then took a hostile stance, spreading his wings wide out to make him as large and imposing as possible. The Man-Bird would die before he would allow anyone to harm the Blonde Woman...

Vanessa and her friend Carly went to No Man's Land on a dare. They didn't even travel more than two blocks in, only having to stay at an abandoned apartment building for an hour. It would be the easiest fifty bucks they had ever earned.

They decided to kill time by exploring the decrepit building, armed with only flashlights in their hands. Fifteen minutes went by with only the sound of the building's groans and their quiet, yet excited,  whispers. It was when they reached the seventh floor did things go so terribly bad. They were walking back to the stairwell when it happened:  the sound of some sort of eerie sirens started going off while every surface of the hallway ripped away like skin, replaced with cold, rusted steel. That was when he showed up.

The man wore a butcher's garb, white gloves, and, most noticeably, a giant steel helm that looked quite painful to wear. In his right hand, he dragged a giant knife that was long enough to touch the floor behind him. What made matters worse was that he appeared in the seventh floor landing of the stairwell.

Before the two girls could react, the being let loose a low, rumbling growl and grabbed hold of Carly with his left hand. All Vanessa could do was run down the hall she just came from while her friend screamed.  She bolted into room 76, slamming the door shut shut behind her and bolted the locks. Leaning against the wall, the teenage could hear her friend scream in agony. All Vanessa could do was cry...

Carly stopped screaming five minutes ago, Vanessa was sobbing in room 76 for the last thirty.

Suddenly, the teenage girl could hear the sound of metal dragging on metal coming down the hall. It was coming closer! Vanessa covered her mouth, preventing any sound from coming past her lips. The scraping sound stopped in front of her door! Vanessa never had been so scared her her life.

The giant knife sliced through the door! Vanessa shrieked and ran to the back of the room as Pyramid Head cut his way in. There was no escape for the teenager, however. Vanessa turned around as the monster approached her; all she could do was scream as the nightmare entity grabbed hold of her.

Her wails of agony filled the night.

404
Rejected, all Pyramid Head could do was turn around and shuffle out, head hanging low. Today was supposed to be the big day! It figures I will only have heartbreak in the end. Well, I guess I will have to spend the night with the nurses. Again.

Outside, he tossed the blood covered flowers and box of chocolate. Jimmy died for nothing. It was Jimmy, right?

405
Pyramid Head wandered into the Velvet room with a box of chocolate in his right hand and a flower bouquet in his left. The butcher's garment was currently stained with the blood of the man he took the cliched date items from.Spotting his target, he walked right up to the blonde vampire.

"So, I hear that you needed a shag?"
