At the moment it's me and Dark Pulse with him as the writer and me as the head of the project, Mike has volunteered to do the engine work while Alice and Kaiza have also said they can help a little bit with the art, other then that we need to find more people if we are gonna get anything done.

Downy Reed
Roof of Apartment Complex

The man busted his way through the door, but Downy was nowhere to be seen.

"Too Slow!"

A flash of light and a bust of energy from directly behind going full force right into the man's back.

If not for his split second reaction he would have been incinerated by the blast, instead he was merely knocked unconscious.

"Still alive?  Then perhaps you can be of some use to me."

Taking a glowing blue stone from his pocket he put it up to the uncounscious man's head, then he spoke.

"אה, ולא מאוגד נשמה חופשי, לקשור את עצמך לאובייקט ועם זה שלך כל רצון!"

There was a flash of light and the man's body violently jolted before becoming still once more, the ritual complete.

His body was no longer his own, he would be forced to answer Downy's every command like it or not, any attempts to resist were now impossible, much like the Seals that bound a Servant Downy had just obtained a rather handy new toy to use in his plans.

With that he threw the man into the center of the roof and awaited him to wake, if there was one who could attempt to stop him there were probably more who wanted to do the same, and he preffered to save his strength for the truly important fights.

Well the main reason the bar is set so low for us is that we don't have many people to help us out as we'd like, if we could get more then that may change hopefully.

Sure, the project like I mentioned is a indirect sequel to the previous BMW, though we don't have the story completed, the idea is to follow the DAA conflicts after the events of Tsukihime essentially making this what Tsukihime 2 might have been like.

Of course being a BMW game it would have a giant crossover setting with multiple Type Moon games such as FSN, Tsukihime, KnK, Fate/Zero, and possibly more.

The idea is to follow the same type of gameplay as the previous one which is a turn based rps type game very similar to that of the Super Robot Taisen series, but with an enhanced engine fixing things and making other things better.

Nice timing their Lantz lol, anyway other questions, for resources we don't have an exact list but some of the things we need include either updated or redrawn sprites of all the old BMW characters, new attacks for all characters, maps and missions which can't be done till we get a working engine, overworld sprites for all characters, and gameplay music, so as you can see we have a lot we need to work on.

For character appearances at the moment the main one is Altrouge but of course Shirou and Shiki will reappear though what we want to do if possible to give options that allow the player to choose which story Shiki or Shirou went with.

Howdy folks this is a thread for the discussion of the BMW2 project, a project dedicated to the production of a sequel on the game Battle Moon Wars!

We hope to bring an enjoyable experience one that follows a similar style to what BMW did but with a much better and enjoyable story.

I am the head of this particular project, with DP as the writer, and on the coder side of things we have Cherrylover but we can't do this alone!

At the moment we are currently trying to find Artists, Spriters, and Coders for this project, if anyone thinks they can help feel free to speak up!

If you have any questions or such feel free to ask.

Alrighty, I just wanted to inform you what you're up against, also I'd like to start up more conversations against you but I don't wanna get too far ahead of myself.

If you want though you can take off on your own, kill some more monsters and try to get my attention or something to that degree.

Just a tidbit of advice for dealing with my monsters and such, though they may not look it, it does take a well armed full trained soldier to stand up to one, they consist of about 4 different types:

The default lizard men, they use brawn over brain they aren't all that smart but they make up for it with pure brute force, their weapons are a standard sword and shield.

The magi, they are completely cloaked from head to toe, if you revealed their faces you'd see what looked like a horrible monster, they don't have much physical strength but that's cause they back it up with powerful magic attacks, though it takes a few seconds to cast the more powerful stuff the weaker stuff can be launched on reflex. (Small barriers, weak lightning bolts etc.)

The ninjas, they also wear masks and while they don't have either brute force or powerful magic, they do have annoying ninjitsu, hard to detect and annoying to defeat they use a barrage of kunoi as well as rope traps and giant spinning fan blades in their arsenal, though not as intelligent as the magi they aren't to be underestimated.

Finally the Boarmen, similar to the Lizardmen however they are much more intelligent at the cost of being slightly weaker, their weapon is a spear.

Also one final note, at each of the three circles there is a command monster guarding them, they resemble walking tigermen and have the highest stats among all the other monster, if they get the chance they won't hesitate to call for help. They also use a sword and shield.

I think that should be good for my monster if you have any questions just ask.
