Why not? Is it integral to have every single thing you want this guy to do in one character? You can still keep your general idea of satoshi at the core it's just you can put somethings like being the heir of the einzbern to some other character or so such. While many characters do have some very varied adventures it's either after several dozen volumes, or after passing through many writer's hands that this happens.
While I agree that a main character should get a lot of focus in the story Satoshi seems to have a lot of things with him as the focal point. Give those things to somone else, share the plot with other characters.

Just because someone rules with the reason "I have the biggest stick" doesn't automatically make their rule a tyranny. Besides if the ruler doesn't have the biggest stick there will be someone who comes along with that stick and takes over. Sometimes you need to acquire a big stick to preemptively stop any other stick wielders from coming at you regardless of the legitamacy of your rule.

Here is a suggestion. One that I have made before but I will now announce publically to see if anyone else may take similar view.

I don't stay destroy Satoshi but I suggest you streamline him. He has a lot of roles and abilties and adventures and he's been there and back a couple of times already. Sure you can have character like that but some of the other aspects of this large journey or vision that you have for this adventure can be split into multiple facets. You can have multiple characters   tackling one of the narrative concepts or struggles that you want to push Satoshi through individually or as a group. I'm not saying turn him into a bunch of flat characters I'm saying that instead of juggling so many aspects in one OC you can fragment and streamline the concepts you choose to tackle. Don't put all you narrative/thematic "eggs" in one "basket" is all I'm saying.

^^^This, it would require more psychologically to accept his adult children from the future than for him not to.

In all likelyhood he would not even consider the story about Sakura, if ever, till he got home and the second kid Popped out, that might get him thinking.

EDIT; Holy crap when did that third command seal appear? Yay now I can join a grail war!

Technically Seals 7 through 9 but yeah I get the point.

Yeah I'm interested in seeing the potential character development. Could switch his priorities from pure magi mindset and success to actually wanting those close to him to be happy, also a drop in his potential naivety.

Is 18 year old tokiome who your avatar is supposed to be? If so he looks pretty cool. I'm looking forward to it.
I'm planning on doing Avdol and Grim again as well as possibly an AU! Nero from DMC4 and a version of Shirou with a Lancelot fragment inside of him (gives him power in exchange for berserkenss occasionally and huge mana drain).

I said I did know that feel. I want to play a min/maxed Lancelot and Shirou hybrid with a reality marble called "Infinite Arms Forge". I think I know how to mash concept together for the sake of (personal) coolness

Is the concept of my power consuming Grim to metagamy for the reboot?

I have some back up plans for permanent host if the thing with Soldat falls through.

I like experimenting with power sets and growth and see this RP as a little experimental playground to improve my writing skills would it be okay if my characters did improve in power set or skill as time went on in this RP, they would get into fights but I'd try to keep them within reason and in character. Would that be fine? as I don't want my experimenting to mess up other players.

Yeah it seems that you like mashing together what you think is awesome and min maxing those aspects just like I do. I know that feel bro. I just don't thing doing it with multiple things is good for a protagonist.

Look at that. He had reasons prevent that contract from actually giving downsides. That's why I just say abandon all hope. Give up and let Lantz have his fun.

Lantz screw around have fun. I still say Original Fiction and splitting your OC into other characters who can tackle your large concepts on a more individual level would be better but if you refuse them's the breaks. I can't convince you as you are apparently "old gaurd" who has heard all of everyone's arguments before and think everyone who is trying to argue with you is in the wrong about things or the fact you are never going to acknowledge X or Y pont regardless of how many times people tell it to you. Reasoning with you is pointless and I shouldn't care about it at all.

You know I don't mean to be the resident downer but I'm just surprized both sides haven't just completely agreed to disagree. In other words these arguments are so futile and pointless that I'm surprised neither side just hasn't decided to go pack up and quit it.
Lantz you don't give a damn about anon.
Everyone who aruges with you does.
You clash on it and never come to a consensus on those points.
I'm saying I just dislike some of the things you've done with your characters in ways completely unrelated to canon (I'm now treating your works  like original fics simply because it's easier on my SoD). I keep on asking about the narrative point of things because of that as discussing canon with you Lantz is a fool's errand.
To all of you I announce abandon all hope. It isn't worth it. Let Lantz have his fun in his canon ignorant bliss. (I don't mean to insult you Lantz with that statement I'm just saying that you either are ignorant of canon or ignore it completely)
