Mordred headed energetically towards the entertainment section. Some time afterwards, she returned holding a box that apparently contained a PS3. "Hey, I wanted to know what is the most popular entertainment here in this age, and those merchants said I could pick up this box." she presented proudly the box to Law as it was kind of trophy "I don't exactly understand what this 'PS3' is but it might be fun!"

The PS3 included a copy of a fighter game called All Star Battle.

Law frowned a little bit. "I'm not 100 percent sure on getting that. Just throw it in the cart for now." Law was looking through some jackets, taking a red one and eyeing his Servant. It should fit, if he was judging her size right. The cart had a tube top and a pair of short shorts in it already. Summer was already here in the nexus and in any other get up she'd look a little out of place judging by some of the other women he'd seen. "Hey, you like these clothes I've got in here better? Try them on, and then we'll get something to eat, and then do a little more shopping."

Even as Karna's charge was hindered by a multitude of orbs of magical energy, he did not slow down in the slightest. Positioning his massive spear in front of him to use the spearhead, an impressive artifact almost his own size, as a shield. As every sphere came flying directly towards him, he caught it with the gigantic spearhead, and though each paused him for a mere fraction of a second, each spell's impact was reduced to a mere 1/10th of their original force as he parried them, going from something that would've launched him into the air and pummeled him to a mere hindrance.

Within seconds, each and every orb had been blocked or narrowly dodged, the ones missing him and colliding with the ground violently exploding. As he had thought, this woman was an insult to the magic of Ghatotkacha, whom Karna bested long ago.

At that moment, he was upon her, spear thrusts aiming for her wrists, hamstrings and ribs.

[Elf]

Ash lead the way into No-Man's Land, heading for a building that had an unusual rune etched in neon light on it.  Trance music poured out of the squat, industrial bulding as patrons entered and exited.  Flashing white-blue lights could be seen though the black painted windows.

"Come on.  Stay close to me, don't make eye contact unless someone makes it with you and don't be the first to look away," Ash said as she strode over to the door and the massive vampire bouncer letting people in.

Gabriel wrapped more of his blanket around La Folia.  His godmother was glaring daggers at him;  he had hit a sore spot.  Guilt was an ugly monster, gnawing in his stomach.

He said, "La Folia, this is my godmother, Forest.  Godmother, this is La Folia."

Those indigo eyes were still glaring.  He knew that look.  This was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back.  Something else had happened tonight, and she wouldn't talk.

"Hello," Forest said with a sigh, "I'll . . . leave you two with . . . whatever."

Then she turned sharply on her heel and began to walk out of the room.

"Uh, did I say something I shouldn't have, Gabriel?", the blushing princess innocently asked, afraid to have come off on the wrong foot with Forest, taking no real notice that she was still covered in his spill.

[Puck-Chan]

The pain continued to sear inside his head despite the immaterial entity had finally left. Henry uncomfortably tried to ignore the scourge as he closed his eyes. He bit his own lip at this ache as his forehead rested against his rough left palm. His fingertips worked at his temples to soothe the pain. It slowly went away, but it continued to bother him to no end.

"So when are you waking up?" Henry wondered as he looked up at the sleeping girl.

He suddenly froze at the sound of footsteps. They were heavy with angry staccato in her descending stride. It looks like she was done with whatever was happening up there with the young couple. Henry leaned back again on the chair, yet yielding another squeak of pressure from the plastic structure. The doctor closed his eyes again as he waited for the vampire to finally reach her destination.

When she would finally arrive, she would find he had learned his lesson as his mind was already reinforced to keep her out. And gaunt of face as the Shadow's visit has taken some toll on him.

Daniel could feel the full moon tugging at his mind - it'd come to its apex sooner or later sometime tonight. He'd change then, but he still had time. Time to hopefully find out if the rumors he'd heard were true. The Alchemist had already buttoned up his shop, locking up his potions and alchemical equipment up tight behind a variety of purchased mystical locks and good old fashioned heavy steel. He wasn't going to take chances in this strange, new Nexus City. Some of the more educated magicians would probably come up with some term for how this strange change of location happened, and why, and then explain why it all related to getting into some witches britches right now because it would solve the ambient problems of the universe and then turn everything back to normal.

Magicians were pains in the ass until you could actually use one. Dan, as he walked the streets of the nexus, reflected as he felt the slight difficulty he had with breathing, that he could have used one 20 years earlier when he was just starting out his training in the trade. His other problem however, was more pressing. Dan had heard of a vampire in the nexus that would help anyone who needed it, no questions asked. Maybe this 'Law Unto Himself' had some way of keeping the transformation contained. His own attempts sure as hell hadn't worked.

Reaching the vampires compound, he rang the doorbell, taking a swig of his potion as the burning in his throat increased.

[Daiki]

Being left with his scaly companion, the boyish figure scratched his head.

"Well, let us be on our way as well."

No need to dwell any further where they stood.

[Milbunk]

Downy Reed
The gargantuan

"So the Barnfriet's have released their own divine weapon? Fine let us prove once and for all who the strongest really is!"

Inside the massive ancient looking throne room of the flying battleship gargantuan, Downy was eager to settler his long awaited score with the fool of a girl.

"Aim the cannon!"

The lights inside flickered rapidly as the magical energy required of such an attack rushed to the conduit, the front of the battle glowed with an eerie light just as a similar light began to grow down in the depth of the city below them.

"Fire!"

Besides him the short purple haired girl glowed with the same eerie light as the cannon fired, at the exact same moment a similar cannon fired at them. And the surrounding air was covered in a blinding light.

'Will it be enough!?'

The light continued to expand further and further covering not only the city but also the massive battleship, and with a final roar Downy lost consciousness.

Downy Reed
Alleyway

When he awoke, all he could see was the ruins of some decrepit alleyway.

"W-what? Where am I?"

Though dazed at first, Downy managed to quickly recover himself and after a moment has passed he finally stood up and finally begun to get a good look of the area. From what he could tell from insight alone this world was no longer the world of Avatar. However before he could get a better look an intense pain shot through his hand, thinking it some sort of damage from the firing of two super-weapons he tore of his glove only to find a simple bruise that had only slightly began to bleed.

'I will not allow this to get the better of me. I will return at once!"

Desperate to return home Downy set to work creating the complex circle required for such a trip.

After an hour had passed, the circle was finally complete, ignoring the fatigue that had slowly begun to build he began the final chant that would activate hopefully sending him home.

"כישוף תחבורה להתחיל!"

A bright flash of light, however it was not Downy leaving. Rather much to Downy's surprise instead of the familiar feeling of his body being thrown through space and time a figure began to emerge from the circle. Downy's hand once more was shot with pain, staggering in surprise and fear that he had miscalculated he fell to one knee just as the light began to fade and the figure became clear.

"Uhhh, they are certainly much better than those baggy clothes" Mordred confirmed. She picked the other set of clothes and went to the dressing room. She returned to Law. "Yeah, these are much better, Law!" Certainly she seemed to be more content about this set of clothes than the previous one.

He walked back to the swing and stat down going back to focusing on keeping watch, “You two have anything else you need to ask me?”

"Well, I believe you have told you us everything you could say for now." Rattus replied. He then took out his wallet and pulled out a business card, bearing only a telephone number and nothing else. He tried offering it to Shiro. "I know that you can't help us but let us help you instead. You can call me on that number if you need anything from us, as long as we have or know how to get it. Consider this as some sort of community service."

"Uhhh, they are certainly much better than those baggy clothes" Mordred confirmed. She picked the other set of clothes and went to the dressing room. She returned to Law. "Yeah, these are much better, Law!" Certainly she seemed to be more content about this set of clothes than the previous one.

To say they seemed to fit Mordred to a 'T' was an understatement. She looked like some tough biker chick, though Law still had to suppress the urge to pat her head and call her a good girl. That damn puppy like enthusiasm about everything was starting to become infectious. Then the realization about what he'd forgotten to grab her earlier hit him.

"What do you mean?" Modred honestly asked Lawrence. It did not register on her mind to wear underwear since no such things existed in her age. The Holy Grail only gave Servants knowledge that was necessary, though it could possibly be that due to her botched summoning she was given less information than she should have received in a normal Holy Grail War.

"I know that you can't help us but let us help you instead. You can call me on that number if you need anything from us, as long as we have or know how to get it. Consider this as some sort of community service."

Shiro took the card with a smile, "Thank you, I will keep it in mind."

Rin and Mille

The hallway the girls stood in came off more intimidating than it should have. Before them was what seemed to be a big, empty open space that was sparsely yet tastefully decorated, with the door to the mystery magus's apartment at the end of it. But both girls knew full well that the hall was far from mostly empty...

Mille touched her forehead with her finger and drew the invisible outline of a rune before stepping forward. She took in a ragged breath, a drop of moisture that was most definitely not sea water making its way down her forehead.

"Are you okay?" asked Rin.

"I'm fine," Mille replied, "just focused a bit too much prana into it." She looked back at Rin and gave her a pointed glance. "I can take care of myself, you know."

"I know, I know. Just don't go wiping yourself out before we've even hardly done anything." Rin tilted her head slightly. "Is that the detection spell you were telling me on the elevator?"

Mille nodded before turning back towards the door. "Yeah. I can see all their bounded fields now. Looks like they have a fair few. Though I think we should be able to disable them. Follow me."

The redhead took a deep breath before heading forward, not bothering to wait for Rin to follow suit. ...and quickly found herself careening towards the first two of the barriers, the rug having proven both more thick and underfoot than she had dared realized.

She first felt a surge of prana, no doubt some sort of alert to the mystery magus, before finding a good portion of her torso encased in ice. She shivered a bit before turning her head towards Rin, who was already heading towards her.

"D-don't w-worry about me, s-start w-w-working on the others! I-I-I'll unthaw my-s-self!"

Rin put her hands up and stepped away. "If you say so." She looked down at Mille with a sly grin. "Though I have no idea how you're keeping such a cool head when your plans have just been put on ice."

Garrison glowered in Rin's general direction. "You're lucky I have to focus on getting myself free so I can help you with the remaining fields. By the way, the next one is about a foot in front of me."

Rin adopted a bit more serious expression and nodded, making her way forward. Mille made a gesture that resembled the fire rune in the air, creating a surge of heat that began to melt the ice away. Another ragged breath coursed through her as she looked up at her raven-haired partner, who to her horror seemed to have suffered a similar fate of tripping her own shoe and was stumbling forward.

"Wait, Tohsaka, you're getting too close!"

Rin's left arm barely crossed the threshold. She braced herself for whatever trap came next, but... nothing happened. There was a surge of prana that simply dissipated.

She blinked, and turned to look at Mille, who looked similarly bewildered. A flash of understanding passed between them. Rin stepped forward, not stopping until she reached the door. Each field vanished in succession like the last one Rin touched had done, with Rin safely touching the door knob.

Mille, now on her feet and dripping water again, looked straight at Rin, frowning. "They just... dissipated. D-did you have some sort of anti-magic spell cast?"

Rin shook her head. "No, not at all." She looked back at the now trap free hallway. "There's only one logical explanation for this." She looked down at her left arm. "They must have reacted to my crest. Whoever this magus is? They most definitely are Tohsaka."

Mille didn't say a word. Rin turned and gingerly opened the door, which was unlocked. Either it had unlocked with the vanishing of the bounded fields, or the magus hadn't even bothered to lock it. Inside, the room had a slightly more modern edge to the decor, likely from being pre-furnished. There was a TV and a remote, both of which seemed to have collected a bit of dust. With care, Rin made her way further inside, and noticed there was a pair of doors. Gingerly, she walked over and opened the one closest to her.

All the confirmation she needed was right there. Gem fragments, burn marks, the signs of old magic circles faded away, sparsely furnished with more old fashioned, sturdier furniture, papers spread almost haphazardly over a wooden desk off in the corner. There was now no doubt whatsoever- a magus lived here, and the gem fragments indicated that this man was indeed a Tohsaka.

"So what now Tohsaka? I don't see anything here that indicates that he caused the rift, but we can't be for sure."

Rin nearly jumped at the sound of the voice behind her. She couldn't hide the hint of irritation as she turned to face her shorter companion. "You have a one track mind, don't you?"

There was hardly a reaction. Not even a hint of indignance, just a simple look of acknowledgement as if Mille didn't find this to be a negative trait in the slightest.

Rin sighed. "We'll wait here, ask him what he knows. Even if he's not connected to the appearance of the rifts, he might know something."

Besides, Rin added mentally, since this man is most definitely a Tohsaka... I have a few other questions for him as well.
