Weak.

At least Henry agreed with the statement. It was weakness that he abhorred the most. And also what stuck to him the most. It was what that thing loved from him as it readies its jaws for the opportune moment to sink them into Henry.

"If my eyes were "closed" up to this point, then I doubt they will open now," he sighed at Karna, "Though I appreciate your concern. Thank you."

He walked away from the demi-god and started to walk over back to Forest.

"Are you done yet, Forest?" Henry whispered loud enough for the vampire to hear as he was still quite a distance back to continue maintaining the girl's modesty.

"But promise you will behave yourself, and I will get back there" she retorted, trying to save her face and not surrender too quickly.

"I won't pat your head if that's what you're worried about," Law said. "Just get up here and buckle up, please."

[Kat]

He laughed.

"Think of me as a psychotic, self-indulgent asshole if you want. Most people would probably agree with such description. With two/three variants, I guess."

The girl seemed like a good person if a bit cheeky. At this point, she was still a mere acquaintance so, he refrained from unfolding his life to her. His eyes fell on the bar and he grinned.

"Oh well, time's running and it appears your sire didn't feel like going on a rampage. Wanna check on her?"

She did not take his statement too seriously, because would genuine asshole brag like that about being an asshole? She felt as he did that to screw with her, but she refrained from commenting.

"Yeah, I don't have much time either, better see what she is doing now"

"I won't pat your head if that's what you're worried about," Law said. "Just get up here and buckle up, please."

"Fine, fine" Mordred complained, making her way to the front seat "Just drive wherever you want since I don't really care about the destination"

Amelia Tanner

Amelia, preferring to go by Amy, was bored; she could not help but think perhaps this weird ass city she accidently threw herself into when creating a new child would be more interesting than the normal world.

So far, aside from the concentration of supernatural beings she has proven wrong. Most people had simple dreams, get home, find their friends, blah blah blah. She couldn’t make any interesting children from THOSE stupid dreams.

She sighed and pulled out a wallet. “Well, let’s at least see what I got from that guy. Jon Smith, age 25, couple of credit cards, ah, 60 bucks.” Pulling out the 60 dollars she threw the wallet into a garbage can.

She then pulled out a wad of cash, and put the bills into it, then stuffed it back in her bag. While stuffing it back into the bag her hand brushed against a black book, causing it to start growing.

She tapped it lightly “Hush King. You will be able to come out soon, don’t you worry.”

A light voice then talked in a peppy voice below her, “You know mother, he might be more angry at the fact that you let me come out before him. He gets rather jealous after all.” The smug undertone was obvious, causing the black book to growl and start shaking.

“Come on now Proxy, don’t antagonize him.” She kneeled down and carefully picked up a small rabbit whose fur’s color shifted at random and placed him in her large bag. “You and King both know that I needed you to gather information, which you will tell me what you have learned later by the way. But for now turn back into a book.”

“Very well Mother, I will sleep well tonight.” Then the rabbit turned into simple leather bound book.

Amy could only sigh at the actions of her children as she continued to walk down the streets of the Nexus city.

Dread Hunter Amelia

Amelia heard a voice. It told to her to stay asleep, but it was not a command. With her mind having experienced it once, it adapted a side effect of her conditioning. Such a light statement would have no effect anymore. And so, from the voice speaking directly into her mind he eyes flew open and her fist flashed out with all her strength and speed, towards the head of the woman closest to her.

"Fine, fine" Mordred complained, making her way to the front seat "Just drive wherever you want since I don't really care about the destination"

As Mordred clambered over the area between the two front seats to get into the passenger seat, Law was treated to a rather choice view. To say she had a nice ass, and even nicer legs, was both entirely true and Law would agree with entirely in it. Lacking a little in the chest department, but still. She had a nice body.

You know she's dead right? A spirit?

'Yes, but she's a rather hot one.'

I can't argue with that.

[Knick]

“Honestly, parading servants around in such clothing. Has my system truly just become a tool to satisfy the base instincts of children?” 

A calm voice echoed though the firebird, the disapproval was obvious in the tone. All the while magical binding spells wrapped throughout the engine of the car, locking it in place.

“In truth however, I am far more curious how you were even able to summon a servant in the first place boy. Do you mind explaining it to me?”

And there, in the back of the firebird sat a man with blue hair dressed in traditional Japanese clothing. Yes, in the back of the firebird, riding bitch, was Zolgen Makiri. 

“Well boy?”

Ash clapped her hands and said, "Bravo,  bloody nice show, Draculas Three!"

Frost's eyes were dyed crimson, swollen with blood as he ripped himself off the stakes.  His wounds began to heal almost instantly as he rose to his feet.  Then he brushed blood off of his clothing as he moved towards the three of them.

"If the three of you are so fucking bad ass, why aren't you ruling the fucking cattle?" he asked, tilting his head.

Ash sighed and said, "Not everyone wants to rule the humans.  We were once mortals ourselves and besides, they have every right to live."

The Count gazed into his tarnished silver goblet. Dracula's voice was rough, but smooth in a way that drew the attention of every member of the room.

"I am not a witch. We are not a covenant. The 'Dracula's Three' does not exist."

His burning orange stare affixed Frost as easily as the stakes had but a moment before.

"What do you think? Should we let them rejoice in the and return of their Lord?"

His other two companions did not speak - instead, they seemed to be considering his words. The air grew thick with tension; it was evident that something was being set in motion, something that all of the Nexus would feel, in one way or another. The eyes of the platinum blonde narrowed in thought, while the red-eyed vampire's grin grew only fiercer. Vlad Drăculea, The Son of the Dragon, Vlad the Impaler… all three titles belonged to each of the three companions, for each was as the other from a different time and land.

Each one of them had, at some point in their lives, ruled the kingdom of Wallachia with an iron fist and personally executed over one-hundred-and-twenty thousand men. Truly, though the present time had forgotten most of what they had wrought, each of them was a warlord that had driven back the Ottoman Empire and struck the deepest fear into the heart of their Emperor himself. The tension in the air was peaking. Frost, even though he didn't want to admit it, could feel the beads of sweat dripping down his back.

Vlad considered, his hand resting upon his elegant goatee.

"Perhaps it is time, after all. The quality of the vampires that reside in this place is low compared to you."

He did not comment on the fact that he was a Heroic Spirit, and not a vampire. Alucard grinned at Frost, his rows of sharp teeth looking incredibly disconcerting in the artificial light of the bar.

"What, you want to grow another forest? I move that we start with this fucker over here…"

His red-eyes searched the room in glee, watching as beings of strength beyond mere mortals wilted beneath his gaze.

"…And move on to everyone else."

The Count silently sipped at the crimson liquid within the goblet, contemplating. He raised his goblet in salute to something only the three of them had lived for, the man-made forests of twenty-thousand dead that had greeted the Ottomans when they had come to seize Wallachia.

"To our great and beautiful forests…. natural, and otherwise."

[Elf]

"Are you done yet, Forest?" Henry called out.

Forest got the last piece of armor off when a fist came flying towards her head.  The vampire simply shot out her arm and pushed the girl's arm to the side.  She said aloud, "Poppet, you really don't want to get into a fist fight with me.  You'll lose even with all of your 'bonuses'."

Gabriel started to glow with a groan as La Folia's movements became more frantic.  He started to drive his hardness into her harder and faster, meeting her movement for movement.  He rubbed at the tiny nub even harder as it began to retreat back into its hood.

Ash rubbed her forehead at the Draculas' comments and said, "Look, making a forest out of people is sodding messy and not worth the trouble.  You three are living nightmares, and a source of inspiration, awe, and hatred for the rest of us vampires.  You're badasses, we all see that and the lot of these folks will bow down to you.  However, if you start planting people as trees you will get stopped."

She held up her hands and said, "I'm not stupid enough to get into a fist fight with motherfucking Dracula, but this is Nexus.  There's always someone bigger and badder."

Wynn smirked and said, "I can understand that desire.  I will respect your wish to keep your own council, however we are being watched."

She looked in the direction where she could sense the young girl and called out, "It is rude to eavesdrop, I would suggest showing yourself before I drag you out of my domain."

[Puck-Chan]

While Henry was waiting for an answer, he noticed movement in front of the vampire. Especially with an outstretched fist appearing over her shoulder as it was deflected off to the side. He knew that girl was awake.

"Poppet, you really don't want to get into a fist fight with me," the blonde vampire warned, "You'll lose even with all of your 'bonuses'."

"Especially when you're outnumbered. We're not here to fight you," Henry added as he walked over to their side, "We're not going to hurt you."

[Brahmastra]

Karna rounded the corner only for his seemingly bored eyes to catch the display of speed of both the child and the vampire. Shaking his headed in a condescending motion, he walked towards the pair without hesitation in his steps, moving by Henry's side.

"She will not listen to reason, Forest, I believe I already made this clear. She's a broken creature, ruined by the cruelty of her fellow man."

[Knick]

Time seemed to slow for Amelia as her arm was pushed aside.

Strange place, unknown above bed, arm pushed to side indicating high reaction speed and training. Training indicates escape, but escape not possible, room lacks windows, in grip of enemy, don’t have mask, can’t think of methods.

When escape impossible, training dictates attempt at double takedown or suicide. Don’t have tools, impossible, especially considering additional enemies that entered the room.

No choices, and for the first time her training had no possible way for Amelia to react. That has never happened before. Never ever, her training has always had the answers. At night Amelia was to hunt, to kill, to murder, to deliver justice on evil. At day she would get close to unaware targets, gather information, and prepare for night.

Nothing, there was nothing to do.

But then Amelia realized that woman was the deluded innocent, the man was the one who offered her chocolate. However there was another she did not recognize, his skin was an almost unhealthy white and he let off an odd feeling also... was that a bird?

So she looked on, the confusion in her eyes showing that she was lost and had no idea how to respond.

And so, completely at odds at what to do, her training gave way and she said the first thing that came to mind, her voice coming out soft and delicate, “Can I still have the chocolate mister?”

[Alice]

Wynn smirked and said, "I can understand that desire.  I will respect your wish to keep your own council, however we are being watched."

She looked in the direction where she could sense the young girl and called out, "It is rude to eavesdrop, I would suggest showing yourself before I drag you out of my domain."

Tom raised an eyebrow. He released the barrier around his mind a bit, allowing it to wash over the girl's location. "Hmph, so it seems that the sound I heard earlier wasn't simply my mind playing tricks. Really, I feel ashamed for not noticing her sooner."

Below, Hakuno sat there for a moment, stunned. She contemplated what to do. On the one hand, if she came out and revealed herself, they could kill her. On the other hand, if she ran, she could possibly get away, but they could also kill her before she could escape. And without Archer, she didn't have many means of defending herself. Her legs, meanwhile, were locked beneath her. How could this happen already? All she had wanted was some shelter.

She didn't get to contemplate her options long, however. A strange energy wrapped around her, lifting her into the air. She was turned to face the two below, Tom's eyes glowing an eerie blue, his hand outstretched. With a motion, she was lowered a bit further. She felt a... presence, in her mind. Come to think of it, she'd felt something like that a bit earlier, but had been too panicked to really notice it.

"She does not appear to be much of a threat. Her mental resistance is stronger than I anticipated, but in the end, she is still no more than a mere human girl. She does, however, appear to have a much stronger ally, but as far as I can tell, he is far from here."

Hakuno's eyes widened as Tom turned to his gorgeous companion.

"What do you wish to do with her? It would seem she seeks shelter, or some form of protection until she reunites with her companion, but I will hear your wishes."

The girl squeezed her eyes shut. I'm sorry, Archer. I messed up... She looked down, awaiting Wynn's proclamation of her fate. All I can do now is hope for the best.

[Puck-Chan]

Henry looked back at her with askance. Her innocent question immediately made the whole thing awkward. Though nevertheless, his hand jammed down his pocket to pull out a bar of the chocolate he had. After walking a few steps closer, he handed it towards her.

"So what's your name?"

[Elf]

Forest laughed at the girl's asking for chocolate and grinned at Karna.

"Maybe she's not as fractured as you thought," she said stepping back and letting Henry hand off the chocolate.

"A Little Mouse, how boring," Wynn said with a sigh as the girl was suspended in air.  Really, the girl was rather boring.  However Thomas was proving to be rather interesting.

She smiled and said, "You are quite the interesting one, Mister Hale.  As for protection and shelter, I know where she can get those things, and if I did not offer someone very dear to me would become quite cross."

[Knick]

Amelia shyly took the chocolate from the man, opening it beginning to nibble on it, all the while discreetly looking for her armor, weapons and mask. Her Armor was near the bed, however her other items where too far away to get to. So there is no chance to get away, but at least she had a chance to think now.

She ignored the man’s question, “Why am I still alive? Why I am not bound? What do you want from me?” She spoke quietly and reserved worried that anything she says wrong will set them off.

The secret of the ritual is known to all dread hunters, and all are capable of replicating it. However even so her abilities where abnormal, far beyond normal dread hunters, and so it would generally be more beneficial to study the effects it had on her body. Or at least that is what she was told. That is why she can never be captured, less she be subjected to a fate worse then death.

So the question remains, why is she still alive? And even then why is she not bound or restrained. Instead she was simply left on a bed with her armor removed and equipment not far from her. It makes no sense.
