"I don't care!" he said, squeezing her tighter.  "She does it all the time!"

Forest

"That's a bit irresponsible for a Vampire King, you think?" Forest replied as she rubbed Taro's broad back.

Taro

Taro pulled back from the hug to stare at her.  For a moment, he did not speak.  After a second or two, he said, "Maybe, but she's king.  She's the strongest and wisest.  She can do as she pleases.  I just want attention!"

[Elf]

Forest

Ah, Taro, you're going to have a harsh history lesson sometime in the future, Forest thought, but not unkindly.

She grinned and said, "Is that the real reason you hired me?  Because you wanted attention?"

[YOLF]

Roman

"Yeah.... thats probably true," he said, thinking how annoying .  Taking a step forward, he entered the gate.  Large walls were erected, guiding the two down a path.  Left, right, it didn't take long for Roman to realize that they were trapped in a maze.

"Why would someone have this as their front gate?!"

Yusho

The outrage was lost on Yusho, who just nodded to himself, looking up at the misty sky. "Monarchs are very particular about their space. Could just not want to be bothered. Or maybe she enjoys messing with visitors."

"Actually, I stumbled in here the first time," He said, as he walked ahead to the next corner, gesturing for Roman to keep up. His ears had caught a low, errant tremble beyond the bushes, like the murmurs of a hungry animal. He didn't warn Roman.

Sakura

Sakura readied herself, and nodded with a chuckle. "I doubt she'll mind us having a little fight, as long as we don't destroy anything. If she gets mad, I'll take responsibility myself!"

Her magic circuits began to glow, green lines glowing along the entire length of her legs through her clothes. "Don't hold back!"

Nika

Curious. There must have been something to the glow, and she planned to rather mercilessly test that. A front kick delivered to the knee. In a sudden, jarring motion, she cleared the distance in a blink of an eye, her kick carrying a power of the lifeforce coursing in her veins. Simple, pragmatic tactic to throw the opponent off balance and maybe shatter her knee for a time too. She would recover anyway.

Sakura

Sakura readied herself, and nodded with a chuckle. "I doubt she'll mind us having a little fight, as long as we don't destroy anything. If she gets mad, I'll take responsibility myself!"

She was fast. Faster and stronger than her. Sakura intuited that immediately, and without a second to spar, squatted down a tad to change her stance, leaving the kick to glance against her thigh instead. She'd had plenty of experience fighting opponents whom were more powerful and skilled than her in her fights with the servants.

She gritted her teeth and kept her guard up with one hand, rushing in to force herself within Nika's guard in her moment of extension.

Roman

Roman forrowed his brows and gave his master a mean side eye.  "Your being way too casual about this.  What if this is one of those mazes that trap you forever?  We could die here!"

The young man placed a finger on his lips and then said, "Wait no, that would just be you!  I'm immortal now probably....  Wait until I ran out of blood.  Yusho, if we get stuck here can I...."  Fangs emerged from his upper lip.  "D-d-drink your blood?"

All the sudden he felt thirsty and hungry all at once.  It was a unique feeling.  It was strange because it was almost as if he had forgotten he had eaten in a few days.  Roman's new enhanced hearing heard the rustling as if it were happening right next to his ear.  "Oh shit!  Something is close!  I think its right behind us!  No... its in front of us....  Wait.... it couldn't be."

Roman stared at the bushes.

[Bern]

Castle Maze

"THAT'S HOW IT WORKS YOU SILLY INTRUDERS!"

The rustling in the bushes got louder and louder and louder still until.....

Until the bushes suddenly parted in front of them and a swarm of decaying humanoid shapes rushed in the block their path. Pieces of their flesh was missing, bugs were crawling all over them. They looked like picture perfect zombies from right out of a horror movie.

Except they were running on all fours and had razor sharp teeth like wolves, and they were coming right for Yusho and Roman.

"YOU RUN IN CIRCLES UNTIL THEY CATCH YOU!"

The voice was closer now, maybe? It was hard to tell, but the bubbly high pitch cutesy town it was delivered in didn't fit the scene at all

Taro released her from the hug, pulling his hands to his chin.  "I hired you because you were fun," he said, nodding his head.  He began rubbing his face into her belly for some reason.  "I guess it also helped break apart the rebel group, removing its biggest muscle....  Stealing a chess piece from someone without them realizing.... is so deliciously satisfying, especially when I get to appreciate it far more than they ever could..."


The skinny man fell out of his chair and rolled into a ball.  That ball human then lodged himself between her legs.  "I....am....SOCCER BALLLU!"

[Elf]

Forest

The blonde raised her eyebrow at Taro's comment about her being fun.  That wasn't something she heard often, if ever.  Always, Fore, you're so uptight blah blah blah, she thought as she heard various condescending voices from various memories in her head.  Well, until Taro rubbed his face against her belly.

She giggled and jolted at the ticklish sensation, but soon Taro had rolled up into a ball like Samus and was lodged between her legs.

"I could see how far I could kick you, and it's called football where I'm from," she said with a grin as she bent forward to look down at him.

[YOLF]

Yusho

"Your master's not emergency rations, Roman," he retorted. Yusho stared flatly at his student, cool as a cucumber, until the inappripriately, femiliar squeaky voice's announcement and the ravenous things appeared. The muscles at rest on his face twitched, but he only hummed. And took a few steps back.

"Alright." He pushed Roman forward. "No time like the present to get some practice in. I'll cover you."

Taro

With Taro's head on the ground and his legs slumped over his face, he parted them to stare at Forest for a moment.  "You should..." he said, nodding to himself as if confirming a thought.  His mind was racing with calculations related to human bounciness.  Then, his eyes sharpened and his voice grew deep, almost dead serious.  "Kick me Forest.  Strike me as hard as you can with your legs.  I believe in you."

Roman

"What happened to that whole lesson about humility or whatever?!" Roman screamed.  "Don't you have dragon powers or something?!"

The young man paused, taking a deep breath.  Right right.... I am training.  This is training too right?  Every experience is a chance to get closer to my goal, he thought.  With shaking legs, but arms raised, he prepared to fight.  "So do I just like.... punch them?"

Also what was that voice?  It didn't sound like a evil necromancer overlord....  She sounds familiar....

[Bern]

MAAAAZE

"HOOOOOOOLD IT!"

And just like that the horde of zombie like things halted just before sinking their collective jaws into Roman. As if some mysterious force was guiding them they suddenly begun backing up and splitting the group in the middle.

"Who are you?" The voice was much closer now, a figure could be seen walking towards them through the passage between the groups of ghouls.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

Every step echoed eerily and then-

Sniff.

"You smell like our King."

A short pink haired girl with eyes just as red as Roman appeared just before in blur, one moment she was just there. She wore an outrageously frilly idol like outfit, the top showed a fair amount of cleavage but also stopped high enough that her stomach was completely bare. Her skirt was just as colorful and the belt holding up did wonders to highlight how thin her waist was. Her legs were mostly covered in stocking that went half way up her thigh to just below were her short skirt ended.

"Did she already turn a new one? Can't really blame her though, you look like an adorable puppy who needs a hug..."
