"I'd rather not, because I was a victim once too," Forest said with a shrug, "And he doesn't deserve to die like Scott does, but if I have to, I have to."

She sighed and said, "It wouldn't be the first time I killed someone I had sympathy for."

The Duke

The Duke raised a closed fist, leaning his head on it.  "Perhaps, but I personally don't want to leave anyone alive that could possibly challenge me later.  Besides, leaving him alive after slaughtering his comrades would just make him bitter and full of hatred.  That is a special kind of dangerous."

The Duke's globe like head shook back and forth.  "The way I see it, its some altruistic mercy now for my men's lives later.  No, i'd rather just kill them now, all of them."

Forest

Forest nodded at that.

It was such a pragmatic response; such a Fae response.

I wish you were here, Wynn.   You were always better at this bullshite than I was, she thought with a pang.

"Yeah, the only thing more dangerous than someone seeking vengeance with nothing to lose is a mother protecting her children," Forest said with a sigh.  "Would it be too forward for me to ask to sit back on killing him then?"

The Duke

Taro took his head off his fist, nodded and said, "Not at all.  Killing an enemy or stranger is cathartic but someone close...  That just doesn't sit right huh.  As long as you do not endanger the operation by going back, then this is fine.  If you aren't going, I ask that you stay here with me in case you have second thoughts."

Forest

Forest grinned and said, "Of course.  I mean, you're kind of paying me to be your bodyguard right?  Honestly, it would make sense if I stood at your side during this in case someone in their group decided to pull a Hail Mary at the 11th hour."

She frowned and said, "You know what was odd?  There weren't any women on their staff."

Duke Taro

The Duke chuckled and said, "Well you did say the leader tried to get you into some skimpy suit right?  Probably not much of a charmer.  I can promise you we can have his head delivered on a stake for your welcoming party."

Standing up, Taro reached into his desk and grabbed a map.  He unrolled the thing and pushed it outwards towards Forest.  "So do you know where their base is?  All we need to do is get them in one place, then we can ambush and cleanse them."

Forest

"He's got body manipulation abilities by the way, but Scott's kind of a small fry," Forest said as she looked at the map.

She sighed as she studied it, committing it to memory so she would know how to navigate this place as best as possible.  "Sadly enough, I never got taken back to the secret base.  I can tell you were Ryan lives though," she said with a sigh as her shoulders drooped.

Duke Taro

The Duke frowned.  "Well I suppose we have a problem then.  We need to gather them in one spot.  They are a spy organization, so if we kill one they will know we are onto them and disperse."

He stood up, rolled the map up and stuck it back in his desk.  "What to do..."

Forest

"Scott is pretty weak on his own.  Capture him and his more morally inclined associates would probably come looking for him," Forest said.

Duke Taro

"And how are you so sure?" he asked, staring blankly at her.  He leaned forward, his paper white eyes emerging themselves within hers.  "We vampires are known to be individualistic, isolated, alone.  Why bother coming to rescue him, especially when they could risk their own life?"

[Elf]

Forest

"Like I said, Ryan's a good man.  I've been in his mind.  He's the type who wouldn't leave a man behind.  He wants to be a hero and save people, and just got caught up with Scott's bullshit," Forest said as she continued to study the map.

"He definitely would come and Blondie the Sex Addict would probably back him up."

The Duke

The Duke paused for a moment before responding.  "Are you sure about this?  This is starting to sound like your just trying to save a boy you have a crush on, or do you genuinely think you can inspire a rebellion among them?"

As he awaited a response, the Duke couldn't help but think, Sex addict?  Wait did she actually have sex?  DID YOU ACTUALLY HAVE SEX?  Wait duh of course she did.  She is sexy and has sex powers.  See!  You can do it!

Forest

"I may be able to start a rebellion among them, if they can see what a bawbag Scott is," she said with a frown, "He's their 'mastermind', which I use loosely by the way."

Then she waved her hands at his thoughts and said, "I'm not Blondie the Sex Addict!  I don't remember his name, but the back of his car reeked of spent bodily fluids and he had like a bunch of female undergarments there.  Oh, and that's all he thought about the whole time he was getting me an appointment to speak with you!"

Valerie

1:00 am

They made their way back to the castle, Liz hadn't shown up even hafter being taunted like that, pretty disappointing in her opinion but what could you do, she'd just have to introduce her to Liz another time. It was pretty vital that Sakura knew who was who if she was gonna be a member of her Royal Guard after all.

"I'm not going to turn you tonight, this is something you should think over carefully." They were back outside the castle, in her own little maze like garden. Even at this hour it was misty, limiting the sight even more so than the darkness of night alone would have done. Only the eerie light of the lantern were there to guide them.

Or guide Sakura, Valerie could see perfectly even in these conditions.

Sakura

"Mmmmm..." Sakura was clearly disappointed, but she held her tongue for the moment. This woman was going to be a customer, and she had to treat her with the proper respect, even if they were friends. The young woman floated behind Valerie, wearing her magical girl costume as she tightly held onto Sapphire.

"I feel like I've given it plenty of thought, Valerie. But if you feel that way, I shall give it as much time as you want me to take."

She was unperturbed by the atmosphere.
