"It's better than other's that people have tried to force down my throat," Forest said to Sakura with a shrug.  "However, did you feel happy about serving Valerie before or after she Turned you?  She wasn't that good of a shag."

Not compared to Mal or Elizabeth, she thought to herself.

She did raise an eyebrow at the second woman in full gold plate this time enter the room flanked by someone who looked very much like Bruce Wayne.  Not the movie Keaton/Kilmer/Clooney/Bale/Afleck (and should have been Boreanaz, but that was something else entirely) versions either.  No, this guy looked like as if one of Jim Lee's drawings stepped from the page into real life.  It was startling enough that she had to stare.

Then Taro managed to stand up after leaning into her hand as she had stroked his hair.

Problem is that Edelfelt is a bloody mage, and a powerful one at that.  Becoming a vampire just probably amped up her powers to eleven.  And she's got protections against physic probes now, she sent to Taro as he stood up and wrapped her arms around her waist.  She gasped as she felt her cheeks heat up again - Never thought I'd actually thought I'd miss being cold all the time - and pulled her close as he very oddly sung her praises.

She did scowl though as she took in the room.  If she remembered her comic lore, and DC continuity was a bit of a mess, Damian Wayne, son of Bruce and Talia Al Gouhl (bloody homewrecker, Bruce belonged with Selina thank you very much) and perhaps even more dangerous than his father.  Simply because he didn't have Bruce's rigid morals.

Then there were two vampire paladins, whatever the pinkette was, and the one Forest was most concerned about, Edelfelt.

And unlike Wynn, I don't think I could get my fangs into her to cheat to win, Forest sent to Taro.

She smiled brightly, held out her hand, and said, "Hello, Taro's over exaggerating the whole sex power thing.  Probably.  I'm Forest.  Baroness Forest I guess."

Sakura

"Now why would I feel pleasure serving her before I was turned, when I didn't serve her until after? That seems a bit nonsensical, to me." She retorted, glaring at that discusting man she'd attached herself to. If she could afford to kill him, she would, unquestioningly. She'd never met a more misogynistic piece of human trash in her life before. Even the rudest of her courtiers had the decency to pretend to have some sort of class.

If honesty was a sin, then Taro would be sin incarnate. Even more so than he already was.

Emilia

"Oh, it's you two....." The pinkette let out a sigh while rubbing her forehead. Those fledglings were seriously still going at it but it wasn't her place to cut in, oh how she wished to bash their pretty little skulls into the table so she could finally have some quiet and think up new lyrics to praise her majesty!

"Did you have to cut your trips short Damian?" Maybe if she focused on him, she'd be able to zone out those troublemakers.

Alice

"Even if that were the case, kicking a man whose already down is the height of dishonor, you should reflect on your actions Lady Greenmore." Her eyes then switched back to the Duke who had so wisely taken her advise. Even so, she did not relax her rigid stance in the slightest.

"And tell my why did you see fit to bring her here in the capacity as bodyguard? You know the rules. What hasn't been made clear though is if she's even fit to hold a position like that." She placed one plated foot in front of the other while bending at the knee.

"I'm afraid I have to apologize in advance Baroness Forest."

A brilliant flash tore the air asunder, the blonde knight had cracked the floor beneath her feet as she launched herself toward Forest, and a fist encased in metal rocketed straight towards Forest's gut.

Taro

Taro released his grip on Forest, sliding into the chair behind him.  It was as if his moves were completely in sync with the Duchess.  "Good luck Forest," he said, his eyes glowing crimson as he bore witness to the skirmish.

Damian Wayne

Ignoreing the little scuffle, Damian turned to the resident idol.  The smile he gave her was beaming, his blue eyes practically gleaming in the orange light of the room. "Unfortunately yes.  It was an otherwise fruitful trip to Columbia.  I was hoping to study the economic structure over there in order to improve our own economy, but alas, I was called for this meeting.  I take it your idol gig has been treating you well?"

Forest

The blonde's eyes narrowed as the golden knight rushed towards her, her fist coming straight at Forest's stomach.

The knight's mistake had been an easy one for a vampire to make.  Forest had been fighting long before she had fangs, drank blood, and could regenerate.  She saw the blow coming and just barely pivoted to the side out of the golden knight's way.  In fact, the knight's fist grazed the blouse Forest was wearing as Forest shot a kick towards the back of the knight's head.

Her head isn't the only thing armored, well let's get this party started, Forest thought.

Alice

Even as her fist barely grazed Forest's shirt she was already moving to counter the moment she saw the other blonde move. Her blue eyes narrowed with the realization that the bodyguard was going for a kick to her undefended head.

With the next step she'd already crouched down and let the kick sail over her, only to brush past her golden locks at the top of her head. Forest didn't seem to get that she had meant for her to dodge it.

And now she was paying for it. Alice threw herself right her at forest, with no form whatsoever, it was simply a brutal full body tackle, but sometimes the simplest things are the most efficient.

Forest

The golden knight tackled Forest to the ground. 

Pain radiated through her back, arms, and shoulders.  A lesser person would have been stunned and had the wind knocked out of them.  Forest knew that sort of hesitation would cost her her life, or in other cases, worse.

She was heavy, wearing about 60 pounds of plate armor did that to a girl, but Forest was stronger than most.  Forest also knew what to do when a fight went to ground.  With her left hand she took advantage of their situation and just began to rapidly punch the side of the other woman's undefended head. 

She then wrapped her legs around the other woman's waist and pushed herself up with her shoulders, putting herself in the guard position, still reigning punches.  She brought up her right arm up to protect her head from any blows that the knight would rain down on her.

Alice

Her eyes narrowed further for a brief second as Forest began raining blows on her head. The blonde knight did not defend herself at all she just took every blow and reached past her striking fist to grasp at Forest's throat.

Then she planted a leg on the ground and begun standing up, dragging the other blonde with her. Her grip was stronger than steel and unyielding, it crushed Forest's throat with ease and she broke out the leg lock by pushing the other blonde further away from her by the throat.

"You can't protect Taro."

With that declaration she hurled Forest across the massive room, which made the so called bodyguard slam into the wall with a painful sound.

Sakura Edelfeldt

Sakura cringed a bit, and frowned. Was that really necessary? She wondered, turning her head to look at Forest and see what she would do next.

Forest

It hurt.

Her throat being crushed made sure that she was vocally silent.  Pain wracked through her body, but she was still awake.  She could still move, and more importantly, she could still think.

She forced herself to her feet and shook her limbs.

Then she looked at the blonde knight and sent to her mind, We're not done yet, you goddamn fanny bawbag.

Alice wasn't guarded like Edelfelt was.  Forest would have waged five quid that she was the only telepath in the room.  She stepped forward, grabbing a chair as she did.

She threw it at the other blonde, knowing that she would just dodge it, but she just wanted the other woman distracted.

Time to go down the rabbit hole, you slag, Forest sent into the other vampire's mind, each word like a barb piercing the other vampire's thoughts.  Then she projected all of the pain she was currently feeling right into the other vampire's mind.

Hera Greenmore

"What in Valarie's name are you doing?" Hera asked, stomping her foot in protest.  "You know full well she does not have that.  What a dishonorable battle!"

Alice

She stood still, not because of the sudden pain she was feeling from her throat, no it was the accusations thrown out by Lady Greenmore that had her almost bursting out in laughter.

That idiot was always too stuck in knightly code to possibly see it. She then moved forwards and sent the incoming chair away with only a simple swipe of her arm.

"Cease your telepathic nonsense before you make an even bigger embarrassment of yourself. Every single sparring session with Damian is more painful than this."

And don't even get started on how brutal and downright sadistic Valerie could get.

And thus she advanced with her arms held out by her sides with empty palms open in invitation, or baiting Forest depending on how you saw it. Her cape billowed behind her as the pain didn't prove sufficient to even slow her down.

Forest

Forest's eyes narrowed at Hera's outburst.  So, the fannybawbag is wearing some sort of performance enhancer.  Which explains why she's all brute force without any skill, the blonde thought as she smoothed her suit down.

She squared her shoulders and said, "By royal decree of her highness, Valerie the Vampire King, I was appointed to be Duke Taro's guardian.  If you have an issue with this, then you should take it up with the king.  You insipid slag."

She folded her arms across her chest and met Alice's blue eyes. 

Then she projected the memory in full surround sound and even smell of Taro passionately shagging Valerie on the floor of his office right into the uppity vampire's mind.
