Suerte

Suerte shook her torso, her breasts swaying back and forth.  With a giggle, she pulled a card out of her bra and handed it to the girl.  "There is a bounty hunting organization here that can get you clients.  All you need to do is register as a bounty hunter and you can start getting clients.  Maybe after your done with that we can collab on a job."

Galatea

"The probability of this one ceasing hostilities is unknown, Creator." Her tone was as melodious as ever, but there was an almost chiding element to it. Like a sibling who was watching her brother do something silly. Or perhaps it was just the listener's imagination. "Releasing her would be unwise until that condition can be guaranteed. Her ability to casually defeat the avatar-node Americana represents a threat."

Longirsu

His face went still as a frozen ocean when Ib failed to promptly follow the order, and cold eyes came to rest on his mechanical servant. For a spell, he stared through her, rather than at her. Then his lips quirked up, like a dangerous wave breaking through the surface of the ice. [A small one. Shave it off subtly and then let go.] His instructions rang, heard only by the two.

"Business," he said, addressing Americana. "If you wish to leave your domain unprotected or be caught in the midst of enemy territory and justify a response, it is your call, but I don't recommend it."

Americana

Americana pursed her lips, and her anger flared outwards. "Of course not." She replied, a deep sense of self-loathing burning through her veins. She didn't have a retort. Not a proper one, based in facts and logic. This entire situation rubbed her the wrong way.

Longirsu

The shadows that perpetual weariness and indiscriminatory annoyance had worn into his face like grooves fell for an instant. Longirsu hadn't reeled back, but it was a close thing, as though he'd been slapped. Biting down on his lower lip, he turned away from the loyal machine.

"Remove her locomotive limbs then," he said. "I reckon she'll regenerate."

He didn't wait for Ib's acknowledgement before stepping away, giving Americana only a severe nod.

"Well, well, ain't that convenient." She accepted the card, looking over it. Convenient, but not very subtle. The state of this country must have been that sorry if they used private operators as overt sledgehammers. But eh, money was money.

"Shouldn't take much time to register. I may as well do it in spare time before the duel. B ut obviously I'm not planning to take any job before I settle things."

Sliding the card into pockets of her hoodie, she addressed the woman again. "I guess we will meet again later. You've gotta at least to drop off that giant conspicuous bag at wherever you live. Don't you live in a mansion?"

Being that enough rich, she probably did live in one, especially given her penchant for standing out.

Suerte

Suerte smiled and said, "Yup!  Its still being built but its a mansion alright.  If you wanna stop by after you register you can.  Its funny, not too long ago I lived in a small apartment, but now its a big old mansion.  Life is funny like that huh?"

The cowgirl walked out of the store, expecting the girl to follow.  "You could always follow me there now too if you wanted."

Galatea

A customary nod was given before Galatea brought her scythe down twice in a row, the swift movements neatly shearing off the demon's limbs and letting them fall to the floor. Those would be significantly more acceptable samples than the small amount her creator had initially allocated as well. Excellent. Then she simply needed to dispose of the rest.

So Galatea raised her hand, yanking the redhead up, before swinging with vicious force and letting the girl careen into the tree line. She then crouched down to gather up the fallen limbs before turning to her master and nodding. There was nothing left to do.

Lily

The redhead merely grunted softly as her legs and arms were severed from her body with those two swings of the odd weapon. Blood spurted out in a cascade of crimson from all of the holes she now had and the redhead begun falling. However she never reached the ground as the robot girl swung her once more by her tail and yeeted her into the treeline.

She sailed away with viscous force and was about to slam straight through a thick tree when-

"Give me them back!"

Her wings burst out as her course changed completely in the blink of an eye. Like a rocket had suddenly strapped itself to her she shot towards them. A cracking sound reverberated throughout the clearing as an ominous curved blade as tall as the redhead herself emerged in mid air, right in her path.

"They're miiiiiiiine-" And as she yelled at them her teeth closed in on the handle of the blade, but that blade wasn't a mere weapon, it was death itself. A soul crushing pressure descended on the clearing and none was spared from the beast's gaze. It was time to feast.

The next instant she begun spinning through the air like a hurricane of doom. Each rotation brought with it calamity, the force of her fury clawed at the ground and the heavens alike, nothing was spared from this merciless onslaught. To face this storm of blades head on was nothing short of folly, and now that storm front was rapidly approaching them.

Longirsu

The tearing screech of death, reaching forward with its razored fingers, rattled his ears and consumed his peripherals before he was even done turning around. But Longirsu had stared down the maw of death many times. He had put up his own arms and legs, his sweat and his lifeblood, his sight and his throat, for the lethal odds that insisted on hounding their crusade for the World Gears. He would put up his very soul, or what was left for it, for the certainty of what he desired now, unrattled.

As he predicted, Ib, closest to the whirlwind of unmaking, was already in motion. Laden as she was, taking up her weapon was unavailable, but it was as natural and instant as breathing that she did the next best thing. Bending and shoving her frame to block and intercept the flood of hits that threatened to go past, breaking them upon her as waves against a rocky shore. Stone that would have been disfigured before raw numbers and strength in the time it took for a human to draw breath.

But none left more than scratches. For every clang and crash, the lesser machines behind the clash crumpled and bent horrendously, each and every one on the precipice of falling apart or exploding into sparks. But no. That didn't happen either. The entire fury of the girl's rampage fell not on the executor, not on its escort, but on the master's shield, groaning and shuddering all the way to the handle as its layers broke and reformed before Longirsu's eyes.

He took two steps towards the assault drained from breath, and the instant a ravenous chop of many fell on Ib's neck like a guilottine, vanished in a flash. A titanic clang echoed between the trees, stopping the bladed manifestation of death against the scarred face of the World Shield, as Longirsu appeared. On his face, naked focus, in his grip on the World Spear, cold scorn.

He did not lance, but swung through the opening, and the weapon fell as to split Lily from shoulder to groin and render one wing shorn entirely.

"I'll pass. I might just lose the sense of a time if I get carried away and look through every nook and cranny."

She declined. The vampire wasn't actually that absent minded, and clearly exaggerated, but she wanted to just enjoy the rest of the day in more outdoor fashion. She wondered when she would get just tired of daywalking.

"Anyway, I guess I'll see you when we cross paths again."

The Jazz Playhouse

The slow moan of a saxaphone emanated from an upscale building in the downtown of the Capitol, cast in shadow by the immense mountain visible throughout all of Columbia. Inside, they were hosting an event-in commemoration of the ceasing of hostilities in the Columbian Civil War, the staunchly pro-peace owners were hosting a happy hour. Live music, half price drinks, and a large dance floor all waited for those brave enough to show off their moves.

Evan

Evan stood on the outside of the balcony, overlooking the twilight skyline.  Arms folded over the protective rail and a smile as soft as the gentle breeze.  What he saw in the orange sky was an uncertain future, in the people below, happy smiling faces.  That calm dower aura from his old world didn't exist here.  It almost felt as if a presence calmed this entire city.  Thats why when the wind ruffled his suit, he wondered where the wind was going.

I'm supposed to be dead.

Looking over his shoulder, he took in the party around him.  Inside the translucent glass doors were people dressed up in fancy or otherwise stylish outfits.  There were tables decorated with fine wine and snacks.  Tables were placed outside on the balcony, where some patrons enjoyed overpriced but high quality meals.  At the very least, it was a pretty fine sight.  Maybe it was the euphoria he was still feeling from surviving or the slivers of happiness he felt from the world around him, but Evan couldn't help but smile.

Maybe its about time for me to dance.

Marc

Dum dum tss. Badum bdoom tss.

A cheat, a crook and a swindler laid on a chair with a relaxed slouch, basically melting into the seat. The few movements he made were reserved to rhythmic head-bopping and rhythmic drink sipping. Officially, he was here to scout the place and look for talent, since he was a club owner himself. But honestly, they had him at drinks for half-off.

"Oh man..." And that's when the last sad drop dropped down his parched tongue. There were no words to describe the anguish and pain in his face. If this was karma for all the crimes he'd committed, then -

Bof. Elle est villaine, ma belle chance. Guilty as charged.

To laze around in his own misery, comfortable and happy on this nice chair... or get up and bother to get more drinks. What a hard choice, one his butt cheeks resisted every second. Buuut his liver didn't hate him enough to refuse yet. So he picked his empty flask, stretched like a cat, and got ready to head down. That's when a fancy looking fellow caught his eye, and just before he could commit to more drinks, he decided to commit to some pleasant chatter.

"You know, the cuties are back downstairs." He walked up to the rail and rested on it next to Monsieur Moustache, his bottle dangling playfully. Now they just looked like matching cats.

Thorra

"Hoh? Are you asserting that I'm not a cutie?"

A tall blond, nearly seven feet in height, walked out to join the two men on the balcony. She wore little more than a skimpy swimsuit top and shorts which barely covered her ass. Despite that, she had an inescable air of magesty that hinted there was more to this whoreish looking woman than met the eye, in addition to the immense hammer with a haft nearly half as long. It hung from a loop on her shorts, dangling next to her in a manner which seemed to defy physics. Thorra had wandered upstairs looking for a drinking partner, or so she'd thought. Now, she'd felt something special about these two men which had drawn her attention and compelled her to join them and to enjoy the view. She waved at them both as she walked through the crystal-clear glass door. "Mind if I join?"

Neptune

"Whew girl you still dress like that huh, people are gonna think you're just an easy lay and nothing else..." Neptune was a bit miffed that Marc had just left hr at the bar to search for more drinks or some other inane excuse, or maybe having her around was crippling his game... it did probably look like the two of them were an item. She had enough after about a minute and followed him to the balcony, only to find him with a well dresesd taller man and her former client who was even taller than him.

"Now this is how you look like a cutie, don't you agree boss?"" The purple haired girl had gone out of her way to dress up for this, and since she was hired for her magical talent, why not go all the way and play the role of the witch.
