Just then, the car simply...died. Somehow, that minor change prickled at the teen more strongly than the fact that an unmanned car had just tried to run him over. Adjutor's eyes faded to silver as he looked around for whatever could have caused that, but there was no trace of any kind of spellcraft on the car itself or anywhere around it. The teen doubted that someone had rigged up an unmanned car just for a stunt like this. There was definitely something else at work here.
