Sakura

Sakura chuckled at his joke. She pushed her forehead against his cheek and cuddled with him. ♪Dinner with Senpai, dinner with Senpai, he’s all mine, mine mine mine♪ She began to hum softly without noticing. It was a long lost dream that she’d nearly given up on, coming true at last. Everything from now on would surely be just great.

She hoped.

Shirou smiled as Sakura leaned against him and he wrapped his arms around her.  "So, you wanna get working then?" Shirou asked with a smile before kissing her forehead.

Sakura looked at Irisviel with confusion after her dramatic announcement. After a few seconds of awkward silence, Irisviel spoke again.

“No good?” she said.

Sakura looked at her with more confusion and, then, spoke.

"I don't understand what you mean, Irisviel", she said, politely and kindly.

LANCELOT

Although the impact sent the black knight sprawling, he was back on his feet in an instant, heedless of the pain in his chest. Arthur was next to him, also rising to a standing position, and just a few meters away        stood, while carrying          .

ENEMY PAIN RAGE KILL HER SAVE ARTHUR KILL HER KILL HER!

A snarl rumbled from his throat and his grip on Arondight tightened, but before he had even taken a step, Arthur inserted herself in his way, arms wide and tone both commanding and desperate. For a split second Lancelot hesitated, and green eyes looked into pale yellow.

Then the berserker let loose a shriek of vengeful hatred and broke into a full sprint, his arm swinging out to push Arthur aside. He bore down on        like an enraged demon, hell bent on seeing her carved into useless chunks of flesh.

AKIHOLARME

Aki hadn’t expected Caedia to so readily move to defend Crest, but instinct took over and she reacted immediately. In one smooth motion her black, demonic looking sword was drawn, the tell-tale sparks coming off the sword revealing its powerful lightning enchantment. Considering Caedia appeared to be arming herself with her own lightning spell, the sword’s electrical power would come in handy. Unfortunately Spellbreaker was currently attached to her back, and trying to equip it would leave her far too vulnerable, so she would have to rely on her armor’s vitality.

Since Caedia appeared to be a battlemage, albeit a rather oddly dressed one, the dragonborn dismissed her fire spell and just as quickly summoned up electricity into her left hand. Sparks condensed in her palm for a second, but then flashes of magically induced electric current started appearing all over Aki’s armored body. It was a gamble to use such a magicka intensive spell, especially without her helmet’s enchantment, but if the woman before her made any move to cast in such close quarters, she was more than ready to shock her into submission.

KOTOMINE KIREI

The bright light of the keyblade and shards of frozen water smashed through the thick, fleshy blackness, opening up holes where they struck… for a moment. After a brief interval, the evil substance seemed to squirm gruesomely as it stitched itself back together, sealing off the area once again and continuing to deprive the fire - and everyone else within - of oxygen.

Even Kotomine looked pained. He could feel his flesh starting to burn from the intense ambient heat, even without flames. Sweat evaporated almost as soon as it left his pores, his body desperately working to keep itself cool, with little success. Although the quickly melting shards of ice currently rammed through his midsection were extremely irritating, they had purpose in keeping him cool, and so did not attempt to remove them. As things were, though, everyone else would die before the priest did. The key was making sure they could not escape.

Outside the building, in front of Richard and his companions, an eye opened up among the blackness. It gazed at them with an otherworldly intensity, as though it were sizing them up.

Henry felt the putrid air whistle past him as he flew, propelled by Noel's incredible strength. It was a high lethality stunt, but it was preferrable to expending his remaining options. Luckily, Lancelot had turned his back on him. There was no better chance.

His fist smacked into the back of the black knight's helm, resounding like a deformed gong being struck - the occult proccess connected to its target, instantly knocking the rampaging man into unconsciousness as the force of the delivery shoved him forward. The impact instantly sent a shock up Henry's dominant arm, and with a muted crunch his whole body twisted from the disruption to his trajectory.

The detective didn't have time to even groan as he went sprawling to the ground, slamming down on cold stone. Pain numbed his reaction, and he couldn't avoid repeatedly hitting his shoulder and back as he rolled to a halt.

After a second, Henry twitched, gasping for his lost breath. An attempt to clutch his hurt arm made his body shrivel in protest, growing hot with pain that wasn't sharp and quick but deep and gnawing. It was definitely broken. Sucking air through his teeth, he desisted, and turned his withered expression to the ceiling, trying to catch his bearings.

Just before he could celebrate his victory against the black goo, it reformed back as quickly as it broke. To his dissappointment, it seemed things wouldn't be that easy. And then, it opened.

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW!! EW EW EW EEW!!" Richard cried in disgust. Or terror. Definetely more of the former of the latter, not that he'd admit the latter was ever present. So in the end, he shrieked in disgust.

Whatisthatwhatisthatwhatisthatwhatisthat!?

"What is that...thing?" He asked with a shaky voice, backing away slightly. Slightly. It was watching him, he didn't like it one bit. Neither the eyeball, nor the being watched thing.

J-just go away. Shoo!

Michael

The immortal watched with some optimism as a hole in the black material was blasted open, only for the hole to stitch itself back together again. Then the black goo...opened, revealing an eye that cast a burning gaze upon them.

Break. Kill. Shatter.

Long time no see.

Just then, the...thing, whatever it was, within the staff sent an impulse through the immortal's mind, catching him off guard. Before Michael could retract the action, he was swinging the staff through empty air.

The hell are-

And then a...wave of some sort was cast from the staff, carving a slight furrow in the earth as it traveled straight towards the eye. Michael's eyes widened as he glanced back at the blackened staff.

...cool.

With that, the immortal lashed out at the eye again and again, staff flashing as wave after wave was launched from it, all heading straight for the eye.

Medaka Box CE: Prolouge

A light gently touched Medaka's face.  She gently lifted her eyelids and faced what appeared to be her mother.  They locked eyes for a brief moment and she could swear that her mother gave her a satisfied grin before writhing in pain from a heart attack.  Her father rushed to her side, comforting her as tears ran down his face.  It may have been the most bittersweet moment of his life.  All the while, two men rushed in and moved Medaka's mother out of the room.  The instant the hospital doors closed, Medaka blacked out.

As she lifted her eyes for a second time, Medaka found herself in what she registered as the Kurokami family estate library.  In front of her was an enormous pile of books.  She looked down at her body.  No longer did she have the well endowed body of a teenager but the cuter pudgy body of a child.  In her hands was an advanced physics book, the last one in the pile.  She had learned everything from these books, absolutely everything.  If she was quizzed on the knowledge of the entire library, she would pass with 100% accuracy.

Medaka tried to move her body but failed.  She wasn't in control of this body, only able to see through it as it turned the pages of her memories.  Once again, she blacked out.  The sensation she felt as she passed out was not akin to sleep but rather it was as if her mind was recalling information at hyper-speed, only stopping at the important parts of her life.

This time, Medaka woke up in an office of a mathematician.  Everything in the room was blacked out except her, the mathematician, a piece of chalk a large chalkboard, filled with complicated math equations.  The mathematician had his hand on his chin, deep in thought.

"I have spent weeks trying to solve this equation.  They say you are some kind of genius child.  What do you make of it?  The mathematician said in a professional tone.  For some reason the voice felt unnatural, as if he was not used to talking like this.

The one year old Medaka did not say a word.  She simply walked over to the chalk board and spent a few seconds examining it.  Then, she began writing on the board, filling out the rest of the equation.  She turned to the scientist.

"Here, this is the answer."  She said gleefully.

The mathematician's hands went limp.  He looked at the chalkboard in utter shock for about 30 seconds before regaining his composure.

"Yes.  Thank you miss Kurokami."  He said with a false sense of gratitude.

For a third time, Medaka blacked out.

This time, she awoke in a hospital.  Her two year old body was wandering through the hallways.  She remembers how she felt that day.  She was empty, feeling that she had no purpose.  She sat down on a bench, pondering whether or not those at this hospital would be able to provide the answer.  Then, a unkempt, raggedly dressed child with a creepy stuffed animal sat down next to her.

"Man whats the purpose?  These grown ups are missing the point.  Humans are born with no purpose, live for no reason and die for nothing.  Wouldn't you agree?  Uh.. Medaka chan?"  The boy said as he dropped his stuffed animal.  "Im sure you were brought here after ruining many lives.  There is nothing wrong with that.  You and I are allowed to do whatever we want.  Because this world is pointless.  And our lives are aimless."  He said as he walked away.

Medaka's eyes widened as she listened to the boy's existential view of the situation.  Then, they lowered, giving her a bored, drained, almost dead expression.  She got up off the bench and began walking once more.

She remembered how she felt that day.  Hearing those words made so much sense to her at the time.  There was no point to life.  She could do anything she wanted.  Yet, dispute this freedom, it still left a hole in her heart.

That same day, after she got bored with the exams, she wandered into the playroom of the hospital.  It was filled with bright colors, floral decorations and toys.  Sitting in the center was a blond haired boy wearing a hood that covered his eyes.  He was trying to solve a puzzle.  Two pieces of metal that are stuck together that must be separated in a special way.

"Hey. Why are you having so much trouble with that easy puzzle?  Give it to me.  I'll solve it."  She said condescendingly before reaching out her hand.  The blond gave her a questioned look before handing over the puzzle.  Of course, Medaka separated them with ease.  "See?  They came apart."

"Your amazing.  Im so happy!"  He proclaimed with genuine excitement.  One puzzle after the next, the blond boy asked if the two year old Medaka could solve the puzzle.  One puzzle after the next, she solved them all.  Eventually, she had solved every puzzle in the room.

"Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!"  The blond child cheered as he danced around the genius girl.

"There is nothing awesome about this.  Being awesome means nothing because my birth and life are meaningless."  Medaka responded in a deadpan voice.

The blond stopped circling the girl.  "Really?"  He asked.  "But I think everything has a meaning."

Medaka did not move the position of her eyes as she answered the boys retort.  "Then tell me.  Why was I born into this world."

"That's easy.  We have only just met, and you have already made me this happy."  The boy responded excitedly.  Then, he dropped down onto the floor in front of her and brushed off his hood in the same motion.

"You were born to make everyone in this world happy."

This time she did not blackout.  Instead she watched as her child body advanced through time at an astonishing rate.  At the same time, her mind was flooded with the information from the last 12 years.  She remembered the love that she harbored for Zenchichi, the blond child from before, the friendship of the student council and the admiration of the students.  She went on many adventures and experienced many things.  Eventually, she arrived in the city she finds herself in now.

Adjutor

From Adjutor's view on things, everything was going well. It was clear now that whatever barrier the priest had erected wouldn't last long against Laivatain's fury.

Nailed i- what the...the spikes are melting inside him.

This place is hot as hell, I'm no-

The teen was cut off as he noticed something covering the walls, something that gnawed at him on a subconscious level. The black material, seemingly the same as what the barrier keeping Laivatain at bay, quickly covered the walls, blocking off every access and sealing off the room.

Horrified realization dawned on Adjutor as Laivatain suddenly snuffed itself out, the inferno's own power being turned against it as flames scoured the room clean of oxygen. Adjutor only had time to take one last deep breath as the inferno burned the room clean before the Fire Elemental was dispelled. The first tendrils of panic started to creep over Adjutor as he realized that there was no more oxygen in this room and that the black material had sealed off every exit covering the walls in a hard shell as the heat of the furnace pounded on him. Calling Rahab back, Adjutor found that the normally-reassuring weight of the rapier in his hand did nothing to ease growing panic gnawing at his mind.

Focus. Calm down. Don't panic. Panic will just get you killed here, we need to break-.

Just then, a flash of light cut through the dark, slamming into the barrier keeping them in. With that, realization dawned on the teen. The barrier didn't seem all that thick. If they focused everything they could, they might be able to break out with sheer brute force.

Valmanway?

Before Adjutor could reply to the Darkling, the familiar dagger settled into his hands.

And what's got you all panick- okay this is kinda bad.

Adjutor didn't bother to reply, each second that ticked by taking up precious air as he poured mana into the dagger.

Wait, what if it-

From our current position, the ricochet will have Valmanway plowing into the ground if it can't break through.

Just then, Adjutor heard something else pounding against the barrier. Holes were formed in both areas of impact. To the teen's dismay, the holes quickly sealed back up. Then a light creaking sound registered below him. Looking down, Adjutor was met with a sight that might have had him palming his face if the situation had been less dire.

Well of course I'd notice that the interior lighting is still working now of all times. That aside, we're not leaving without the kid. Tyrfing?

On it.

With that, the shadow elemental melted into the blackness, seeping into the shadows cast by the light fixtures and taking them for its own, extending them towards the light-magic wielding boy and pooling around him.

At the same time, Adjutor slipped down from the cat-walk, navigating down to the bottom literally soundlessly, before running for Roxas, reaching out to grab him and pull him into the shifted shadows and to safety.

Tohuw Balagan

Tohuw looked at the big movie screen with a look of bemusement and comtempt. The whole time, he was watching attentively with his mouth full of caramel popcorn, smiling the whole time.

He knew she was quite the foolhardy goody two shoes, but he had no idea she was this peculiar.

Odd. Abnormal. Interesting. A shonen mary sue extraordinaire! If this was Shonen Jump, this could get pretty popular among the public. But the public was Tohuw right now, and the public let out a bored yawn.

"Now *munch*, this is hardly *chew* what I call entertainement Meddy. *eating noises* Please *nomming sounds* try a little harder. *more chewing and munching* A sappy soap opera is hardly what I call amusing *devouring popcorn*."

Grinning, he toyed around with the blue ball before driving his fingers further inside it.

"Determination, friendship, victory. Nope, nope, nope, nope aaand nope! There's got to be more. This isn't some crappy manga now is it? Let's delve a little deeper. Deeeeeeeeper."

Yes, there were surely plenty supressed memories and mental wounds to prod. Fifteen years condensed in a hour and thirty five minutes of movie, it was quite something. Medaka Box was far from over.

"Fufufu. Well then, let's continue shall we?" He chortled in amusement.

Saber

The former king managed to catch herself before she went tumbling down.  Lancelot was still charging, heading after Noel.  However, his back was turned and Henry managed to land a blow on the back of Lancelot's head that made him stop in his tracks.

However, Henry was not unscathed; with the armor and the fact that the detective struck with his bare fist was not lost on Saber.  Why did he do that?  How much about my partner that I did no know? She went chasing after Lancelot's unconscious form before shouting, "Fall back, Noel, see to Henry.  Fall back!"
