Sakagami Kenzo

Kenzo backed down and looked at her with droopy eyes, facing the ground sadly.

"Yeah, kinda. The horn is bad, really bad. It's a super special sword for me, ever since I got it my horn stopped growing completely. If it keeps growing, I'll become a monster again, just like before."

The demon sniffled before wiping his watery eyes.

"Let's go. We need to hurry."

Vanguard

Joy filled Vanguard's heart. Of course, that joy was not directed at sakura's own, but rather at Vanguard's fortune. If she was to be married, surely she would eventually make use of her bountiful womb. If all went well, she would provide a suitable vessel. Of course, he too would have a part to fulfill.

"That is absolutely wonderful!" He spoke in delight, rubbing Sakura's head affectionately. It was quite clear that he was rejoicing over this fact.

"Sakura, I will go look around for a bit. I won't stray too far ahead, but I would like to ask if you could spare a familiar so we may keep in touch over distance. That way, if trouble arised, I would react even more quickly."

Sakura

Sakura flinched slightly underneath Vanguard's show affection. After he removed his cold hand from her head she said, "Okay...here." As a large ant crawled out from her sweater onto his arm. "Pay attention to it! I'll send a signal if we're in trouble. I'm pretty sure we're safe here though." Sakura finished as she fixed her hair. "Oh! Come on Nee-san, I see some nice pants over there!"

Irisviel

Irisviel laughed as Towuh put on his big show, turning around and leading the noble man inside with Medaka in tow. "So we should get her healed first and foremost." She said seriously.

Mia

Mia looked at the dragon man in front of her, the blade cut true, but yet there was no blood. And then she noticed it slowly began to fuse together once again. As his rage became apparent, his arms were thrown back and his head was thrust forward. But in that moment, the moment before his mouth opened, Mia continued her assult.

Her body spun and the blade met the neck of her foe, but she did not stop there, again and again she spun, each time striking her foe true. Faster, and faster and faster still, until she was just a blue of silver and black.

Like a tornado of death the attacked, trying to rip the one that threatened papa to shreds.

Crest

Caedia attacked, a spear of ice launched at Aki, and that was all the opening he needed. The moment the ice was launched he moved, to the wall and began to ran down the room.

He would escape here, he would live.

Shendu

It was impossible. He didn't have any time to react. The blade tore out his neck. Then went through his hip. His knee. His chest. His arms. His feet. His face. His chest again. His legs. Shendu's tough scales and mystical body offered no protection from the onslaught.

An aimless gout of flames escaped his maw like a choked gasp as the not-child carved through his torso. The whirlwind was reducing his body to shambles, outspeeding even his healing. His torso would end up trimmed into a scaregrow-like branch at this rate... and nothing less. For Shendu was not invulnerable, but he was immortal and firm of form. No matter how much she cut him, the integrity of his body would not collapse. So long as he held his power, the power of the Dog Talisman, he could not be destroyed no matter how much damage he suffered.

Still, the demon sorceror had not known physical pain like this before, not even when Chan had blasted a hole through his chest with his own power of Combustion. But he had endured worse. Torture of the spirit and the mind, pain delivered through his immaterial core at the whim of his siblings' magic. This did not compare to existential pain.

With a roar, Shendu pushed back against the wraith-child, swiping with his regrowing arm in a deceptively fast, ravaging strike.

Urthemiel

The magus followed the white haired woman with a nod of agreement. As he followed Urthemiel remained mostly silent but his eyes took in every sight around him as they made their way towards and into the castle. While a slight smile and bright look was featured on his face his mind judged every inch of the building. Everything from the choice of color to the placement of furniture was observed and deemed as decent, lacking, or simply terrible. Nonetheless it proved acceptable over all. It was unsuprising that it would fall to match the greatness of the shrines he had so carefully created. "Is this a castle of your family or something that you had created yourself? While nobles generally rely on lineage for their positions it is not incredibly uncommon for great individuals to arise and claim a title for their own."

Irisviel

As Iri led him down the labyrinthine halls, she smiled at his question. With a hint of pride, she responded. "This castle has been the residence of the Einzbern family for countless years, more than a millennia. I hope it's to your liking, ah, I don't think I got your name?" She asked a bit sheepishly.

Mia

Silver Screamed to her.

Cut.
Cut. Cut.
Cut. Cut. Cut.
Cut. Cut. Cut. Cut.
Cut. Cut. Cut. Cut. Cut.
Cut. Cut. Cut. Cut. Cut. Cut.
Keep cutting, don’t stop. Not until there is blood, not until it goes silent, not until it stops healing. Do not relent, to not slow. No, go faster, push yourself.
Faster.
Faster. Faster.
Faster. Faster. Faster.
Faster. Faster. Faster. Faster.
Faster. Faster. Faster. Faster. Faster.
Faster. Faster. Faster. Faster. Faster. Faster.
EVEN FASTER! DESTORY IT! SEVER IT! FORCE IT TO MEET END!
CUT IT! REND IT! BREAK IT! SHAVE IT! GRIND IT!
MORE SPEED! MORE STRENGTH!
AGAIN! AGAIN! AGAIN! AGA-!

And then the beast claw swung out, matching her speed. And it struck true, smashing against her sword arm in a wild swing.

CRUNCH!

The arm broke, and Silver fell to the floor, dinging against it and laying there, while Mia was thrown to the side and smashed against the ground and rolling into a heap against the wall.

Mata Boyd

"We were hired by a benefactor whose identity is way beyond my paygrade. It disliked the idea of having such an obvious nesting ground for monsters unguarded and open to any kind of creature running from the law making an easy escape. We were put into place to keep people away and out along with containing or eliminating any extreme threats. Those beasts were an issue but relatively contained due to the Inner Workers coming in and suppressing any large gatherings." The worker's tone was rather neutral and much more professional than before. There seemed to be a need to remain more serious after seeing her superior.

Tar

"And they're running this out of the goodness of their heart?" Henry said, clicking his tongue. "Not likely. Wouldn't have a need to be this shady. Where do you even get the resources for an endeavor like this?"

Twisting his neck, Henry kept his eye on her and continued. "And for that matter, where do you fish people crazy enough for this kind of job? Are your colleagues in containment even ordinary humans? Because with how you put the shit they're holding back, I find myself doubting that."

Adjutor

"And you saved mine in turn," Adjutor said, pulling himself up to his feet, more or less, "So I'd say we're about even."

Tyrfing, where the hell did you bring us?

Hospital, why?

...For a second, I thought-

That I'd bring us back to Mother? No need, you're already healed up.

...Okay then.

"Well," Adjutor winced at a stray jolt of pain, "Pretty much."

Feeling unsteady on his feet, Adjutor diverted some of his focus towards the Armogarians, forming a small cane and solidifying the creation before leaning on it to try to ease the load on his still damaged spine.

"I can get us out of here easily enough, though," the teen explained, taking Roxas's hand and focusing for a moment.

With that, they popped out of the shadow of an ambulance parked in front of a Hospital.

"Perfect," Adjutor mused, "You wanna go inside and talk? I don't feel all that steady on my feet at the moment."

Forest

Forest blinked as she listened to Kenzo's words.  He looked very much like a kicked puppy as he said, "Yeah, kinda. The horn is bad, really bad. It's a super special sword for me, ever since I got it my horn stopped growing completely. If it keeps growing, I'll become a monster again, just like before."

Then he sniffled, a little loudly than what was considered proper, and wiped his eyes.

"Let's go. We need to hurry."

She nodded and said, "Well, maybe we should go to the place where you fought the wanker to start.  And what does this sword look like.  Is it a katana, a broad sword, a falcion, what?"

Rin

Rin sort of flinched sympathetically when Armor-san patted Sakura's head.  Then her skin crawled at the sight of Sakura's familiar, a large and rather terrifying ant, going to Vanguard.  Rin stood quietly as Sakura fixed her hair back into place, Vanguard had sort of mussed it up, and turned back to her.

"Oh! Come on Nee-san, I see some nice pants over there!"

Rin walked over with Sakura and studied the pants and groaned as she realized that the sizes were American, and not Euro Standard or Japanese.  "Well, great, I'll just have to try everything on," she said with a scowl as she began to look for pants.

Mata Boyd

She snorted and let out a light chuckle. "That is on a need to know basis. I don't even know how we fund this. You would have had better luck asking the supervisor back there, but he's much less willing to talk than me. And I'm pretty sure they get these guys from the same hole they pull out your police officers. People who are a bit touched in the head and capable of fighting."

Her flashlight was pulled from her belt and turned on to light the way as she began to move to the front so she could just have them follow. "And we don't really ask. They can be anything as long as they get the job done. We don't socialize too much, but I'm pretty sure that a few supervisors haven't left these tunnels in weeks. Take that as you will."

Urthemiel

"It is... adequate. My apologies if I offend, but I am used to much larger and grander structures. However it is far better than most of the places within this city." At her question a hint of pink crept into his cheeks with practiced ease. A bit of nervousness and embarrassment entered his tone in comparison to the neutral one he had used until now.

"My apologies. It was incredibly rude of me to not do so much as give my name before entering your home. I am the Architect of the Works of Beauty. Although it would be nicer to meet under more favorable circumstances it is a pleasure to meet you, however I would be glad if you bestowed upon me your full name. It is increasingly awkward to call a woman as beautiful as yourself as just 'you' and I would not presume to use your first name when we have just met."

Roxas

The armored teen moved them from the shadow world to a hospital within the city.

"Perfect," Adjutor mused, "You wanna go inside and talk? I don't feel all that steady on my feet at the moment."

"Sorry.  I would love to go in and chat with you.  Its been nice meeting someone my age."  Roxas responded, thinking back to Richard and the gang.  "But, that crazy priest needs to be stopped."

He scratched his head.

"Actually, do you mind dropping me off back in the shadow world?  I should be able to use it as a platform to teleport back to the furnace."

Seras

It wasn't long before Seras found herself wandering the streets aimlessly, having nothing better to do now that she'd been kicked off the police force. Again.

Well, the first time wasn't really getting kicked off, but she couldn't exactly protect and serve as fledgling, so it was all the same in the end. Even so, Seras couldn't help but feel a little exasperation at the mess that had resulted in her getting fired. She doubted that she'd seen the last of that robot lady, so perhaps the night wouldn't stay too boring for long.

Even so, all the vampire could do at the moment was wander the streets aimlessly.

Sakagami Kenzo

Kenzo nodded before he answered flatly. "A katana. Silver. Shirogane."

Then, he turned to the pale woman and asked, his voice now filled with a tinge of curiosity. "What's a wanker?"
