Seras

The vampire frowned at the woman. Of all the things Seras had ever expected to find, someone who actually wanted to be a vampire wasn't one of them.

"If you're certain that you'd be willing to give up your humanity so easily," Seras said seriously, "Then I might be able to turn you. However..."

Seras trailed off for a moment, unsure of how to word her next question and deciding to simply explain things straight out.

"However, I can only make you a Fledgling if you're a virgin," the vampire stated, "Otherwise you'll just become a ghoul. Basically a zombie."

Michael

As they neared the blast furnace, Michael faintly felt something shift. Instincts honed by millennia of life screamed danger at him, the immortal take a few steps back just as a spiky ball of death burst up from the ground, the immortal leaping back at the sight of it. However, before he could rain down on it with staff-beams, the immortal watched as Richard spewed hatefully, the water around the two swirling up.

Even so, the immortal watched the two, keeping his staff at the ready in case the beast attacked.

Noriko

"Neglecting love life pays off, huh?" she mused. Her pursuit of mystical knowledge and immortality made her ignore the opposite gender. She would have an eternity to compensate for if she succeeded, provided she felt like it. "I'm fine with becoming a monster for the sake of my goal, even if that would complicate things a bit. Then, yes, I'm a virgin."

Irisviel

Irisviel slowly walked down the hallway to her room, taking steady steps. As soon as she got in she plopped down on the bed, panting. She laid there for a short time before she sighed.

She wanted to just lay down and take a nap, but she had a guest to entertain. And she was sure Sakura and Towuh were fighting. So she stripped down and got in the shower. She loved the feeling of the warm water cleansing her of her dirt and grime. But again, she couldn't take long.

So she reluctantly got out of the shower and dried off, putting on some new clean clothes, much nicer than the nightgown she'd been wearing previously.

When she returned to the man and the woman, she came upon an—interesting sight. There were now exquisite ice sculptures of...herself...dotting the room.

"Oh..." She said. "Th-thank you, this is flattering."

Rikuyo

"Richard!" she called out, not quick enough to stop the monster from stabbing her comrade in the heart. She didn't want him to die. That man was someone fighting against odds in spite of physical frailty, someone worth respect. To die like that, with no glory, only filled her with fury against the assassin. So she unleashed it. Intent to not leave even single shred of the monster's body, she fired a blast at her opponent. She didn't transform in fear of engulfing Richard with the attack. Even if he was fated to die, she wouldn't be the one to kill him.

Mata Boyd

She didn't even turn to look at the officer. "If there is something we can't beat then we make deals. The sewers are home to a reasonable enough sort. At least, reasonable enough to make deals to ensure survival if a problem becomes threatening enough. And there are always stronger things that can be pulled out if necessary. We have yet to find something we can't handle. I'm sure that if we do you'll be the first to know. something like that would find it difficult to hide if they could tear through the people in there."

Urthemiel

"You flatter me, Lady Einzbern. To thank me for such paltry distractions when you easily stand above these things." As he finished the design of another sculpture he turned to look at the albino woman and appraised her new clothing. The look was certainly intense but it lacked anything close to lust.

The Old God hummed as he thought and with a wave of his hand the perfect sculptures fell apart and dissolved. "You were right. Humbler things do suit you much better, Lady Einzbern. While Urzara may have callously overlooked you make no mistake that even the eyes of Beauty itself look upon you fondly. Now, is there further business to take care of with the girl?"

Seras

Seras's frown wasn't helped by the levity the girl was addressing this matter with. Considering that led to Seras being sired, to see someone who seemed so eager to abandon their humanity was...baffling.

"Okay," Seras said, "Then I can turn you. I won't unless you're absolutely certain of this, however. And even so I won't do so now or immediately when you ask me. You'll have a few hours to consider your decision when you want me to turn you, barring extreme circumstances."

Noriko

"Though choice..." Noriko pondered. While losing her powers would be a great sacrifice to her, she could not get another shot at gaining body as powerful as hers. To take a shortcut or labor without guarantee of a success?  "Yes, you can turn me, but only assuming I ran out of solutions to prolong my own life or I'm beyond help and face oblivion." she took the middle path. "It might be decades, or even centuries before I resort to your help, unless something extreme happens, but I'm convinced you are patient enough."

Irisviel

Irisviel smiled at his compliment and nodded. "Yes, I think there is one more thing. We should take her to a bedroom and put her to bed; I don't think she should be left sleeping in here. After that would you care to join us for dinner?"

Urthemiel

"I'm sure that would be pleasant, Lady Einzbern, and I would be honored to dine in your estate. However, while it is rude to ask much of a host when you bring a burden to their doorstep I would ask of you one thing. Could you keep the servant under you on a slightly tighter leash? He did nearly shred me with knives in front of your home, and while I do feel that it is possible for me to destroy him it would certainly cause property damage. It would pain me to see the only decent home in this filthy city ruined. It is only a request. You have no obligation to do so." The Old God's tone was fairly neutral but there was a faint undercurrent of worry perfectly added to convey a bit of unease.

Richard Maxwell

Richard felt a light impact on his side, crashing trough the ice and sending him falling. Well, he didn't really feel it, most of his body was completely numb by then. Still, he could tell his face was laying on the cold ground. "Shit. I messed up." He choked out, trying to keep himself and his body together.

He needed to apply extreme focus in his bloodstream to control every single vessel, pumping the blood manually with magic. Such a strain could make a man go mad, but Richard was used to things like this. Perhaps... perhaps he had already gone mad long ago. Yeah, that had to be it.

Slowly, he turned to face the girl. There was no trace of the thing , bloody pulp. His blank eyes blinked, his body trembled and shook before turning completely inert. After a while, Richard smiled weakly before murmuring softly.

"Pretty shitty for an end, huh Riku?"

Sakagami Kenzo

"Um... right. Van Pyre? Never heard of that. You're not the typical yokai, are you?" He asked innocently, shyly.

Irisviel

"Yes, of course, that goes without saying. I was already going to reprimand him for his brazen actions later." Irisviel attempted to ease his worries.

Urthemiel

When she said that the worry leeched from his form and he stood with the same perfect posture and unfailing smile he had worn the whole time. Did he hide it or was it all just fake? There was no answer to that. He moved and picked up the girl just as he had done to Irisviel not long before and said, "Lead the way, Lady Einzbern."

Michael

Before Michael could've tried to attack, Rikuyo managed to blast the thing into oblivion. It was still too late for Richard, however. The thing had managed to spear him right in the heart amongst other places. The most that could be done here was offer to offer him a prayer, and Michael was hardly one to play at being a holy man. Even so, the immortal had honestly thought that he'd grown numb to the deaths of others, but at the same time...

Unsurprisingly, the man's comment had been directed at the woman who'd just blasted that beast off him. Unsure, of what to do, Michael took a hesitant step forward. Then another. And another. Soon he found himself standing nearby the hydromancer.

The immortal stood there for a moment, wondering if he should offer his condolences or try to grieve, but none of those made sense. Still, it was wrong to watch him go without at least saying something.

"There are worse ends than this," Michael said somberly, head bowed as he tried to watch the face before him, knowing that he'd eventually forget it like all the others.

Seras

The vampire stared at the Noriko for a moment, a little surprised that the girl actually seemed to be reconsidering. Finally, Seras allowed a chuckle.

"Very well," Seras said, "It's good to see that you're going to continue with your own merits for now at least."

"Now then," the vampire continued, standing up, "The least I can do is try to get some tea for a guest, so if you'll excuse me."

With that, Seras made her way into the kitchen, rustling up long forgotten tea leaves while setting some water to boil.
