Vanguard

"That is admirable." Said Vanguard with a polite nod. Then, he held out his left hand for a handshake.

"My name is Vanguard."


Sakagami Kenzo

Kenzo burst into laughter.

"Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah! That's amazing! You're really not a human, but you're so nice and smart an pretty! Like, you know all those things, and you are helping me out like that! You know, not many humans ever cared about helping me before... " He said with a bright smile.

Then, he grinned proudly.

"You didn't take advantage of me, even when I was weak and crawling there. You could've just taken my blood, but you didn't. You're... really nice."

Then, he gave her a hug before speaking softly in her ear with a cheerful tone.

"I don't dislike people like you, you know? Well, anyhow, we have to get going."

Rin

Rin smiled at that and returned the girl's handshake.  She replied, "I understand the sentiment.  I moved to London a few years ago before getting sucked here so every time I ran into someone else who was from Japan we always ended up talking because we were both homesick."

"Noriko, this is my sister, Sakura."


Saber

Saber wanted nothing more than a shower and a fresh change of clothing.  She watched as Noel tended to Henry and sighed beneath her mask.  Since she was covered in filth, she wasn't sure if she should remove her mask.

There had been a movie that Forest had shown her, most of it had gone over her head, but she remembered something about contaminants and the like.

Besides, there is Lancelot to deal with, she thought as she looked up at her burden.

Then she looked over at Noel and Henry to see what was literally another version of herself but taller.  "Oh no," she whispered, not wanting to see Lancelot wake up and lose what little sanity he had left.


Forest

Forest smiled as Kenzo started laughing, and then he started to go on about how pretty and smart she was, and how she was helping him and didn't drink his blood.  Had she been able to, her cheeks would have flushed at his praise.  Instead she looked away with a giggle and waved her hand.

Then, suddenly he pulled her into a hug before whispering in her ear, "I don't dislike people like you, you know? Well, anyhow, we have to get going."

"Yeah, um, thank you . . . I generally either take blood from those who are willing or have attacked me first.  And you ran into me, so of course I had to help.  With Great Power comes Great responsibility and all of that," she said with a giggle.

Lone Wanderer:

Okay, she's a bit touchy-feely. He can work with being a bit outside of his comfort zone. "Can't say I am, Miss." Jeremy said, looking around at his surroundings.

Snow was a thing here, apparently. First time he actually encountered it in real life - that Operation: Anchorage simulation was actually pretty spot on. Intact buildings, just like in those pre-war flicks he watched with Amata back in the Vault. "Where am I, by the way?"

Seras looked down at the hand, then up at Vanguard, then down at the hand again, that friendly smile never leaving her face.

With a moment's though, the vampire moved the stump of her left arm as if she were reaching out and shaking his hand.

"Seras," the vampire said simply, "Pleasure to meet you."

Friendguard

"Call me Vanguard. The pleasure is mine." He responded, allowing himself a chuckle at her reaction. Then, he took a more serious, respectful tone.

"You know, I couldn't help but notice you looked troubled earlier, is there anything you want to get off your chest? It would pain me to see a beautiful girl like yourself be troubled. Is there anything upsetting you?"

Seras

Ass.

Seras kept her smile, though, the expression not wavering for a second as the armor continued on, this time in a serious tone, at least.

"A few things, though not anything that I would feel right about troubling you with," Seras said simply, "Though I am surprised that you noticed, considering how you seem to miss far more obvious things."

Vanguard

Vanguard sighed before raising his arms up in abandon.

"Please, don't antagonize me. I do not wish to look down on you or anything such. I suppose I can now drop the act." He said nonchalantly.

"To put it simply, this city is a dangerous place. One needs friends in order to thrive and survive. I am no exception. There is something I need, something you have. I believe I am not mistaken to assume you are capable to some degree. Your stance betrays you, I believe combat may not hold much mystery to you. That is why I need you. Of course, I do not believe it would be just for you to do it for free. To put it simply, I would like you to help me. And in return, I will help you."


Hyoudo Tenma

"Hell if I know. By the way, I am not Miss. I have a name you know?" She said teasingly before stretching. Then, as if her whole life led up to this moment, she struck a dramatic pose and pointed to the man. At the same time, fireworks burst from her backpack along with flashy lights, enhancing the dramatic tension. She had one shot to do this, and she seized it.

"I, HYOUDO TENMA, AM THE GREAT DOCTOR HYOUDO TENMA, THE GREATEST MAD SCIENTIST OF ALL TIME AND FUTURE TO BE RULER OF THE WORLD!" She roared with delight, spreading a wide toothy grin full of confidence and pompous charisma only befitting of the gods.

And then she struck yet another pose, crossing her arms and arching backwards in order to laugh maniacally.

"MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!"

Seras

Before she could turn back to her friend, Vanguard raised his hands up in either mock surrender or abandon and began to 'explain' his situation. Vanguard hardly seemed untutored himself, but if it was a job he was offering...

Just like old times, eh?

Old times for you, maybe.

"Well, I might be otherwise occupied," Seras said, "Perhaps you could actually tell me what you need before asking if I'll help?"

Vanguard

Vanguard nodded in understanding before speaking up in a calm, soft voice. Loud enough to be heard by her but not enough to be overheard.

"It's very simple really. I wish to form a new faction. You are certainly familiar with ants. Those tiny creatures cannot do much on their own, but it is when they join in forces and numbers that they can become a fearsome force. Be it mercenaries, soldiers, doctors, scientists, to-be-reformed criminals, assassins, policemen or vigilantes, the individuals in question and their background matter very little. What I want is simply to create a group of capable men with particular, unique talents and join them under a common, singular objective."

Then, he pressed on her shoulder with a firm hand. Not to mock or belittle her, but to display genuine companionship and trust.

"Of course, if you were to join, I would pay you far more handsomely than any job you could possibly partake. I would also be glad to provide you with a roof, food and whatever else you may need. My expenses, naturally. All I ask is for manpower, the best of the best. And you are it. Of course, what you will do depends solely on your personality, desires, strengths and talents. So tell me, are you interested?"


Sakagami Kenzo

"Yeah!" Kenzo nodded in agreement before sitting put on the seat and bluckling the belt thingy. She did it, so he thought he should do it to.

"Vroom vroom!"

The vampire stared at the armor for a moment, incredulous.

Is this guy serious?

...I...honestly don't know.

"So...basically like Excalibur, only with paychecks?" the British vampire queried.

Vanguard

"More like Outer Haven, only with paychecks, dorms, food and the promise of companionship. And you still didn't answer my question." He quipped in return with a teeny tiny bit of sass.

The vampire took a moment to consider Vanguard's offer. Well, having more people around would make keeping an eye on Noriko a bit easier at the least...

"Okay, I'm game," Seras said, "But I'm going to have to ask Noriko as well...If you're looking for someone whose expertise probably lies out of combat, then she's a decent bet, so she won't just be extra baggage."

Lone Wanderer:
"Um...right..." Jeremy was at a loss for words - This was the same level of crazy as the AntAgonist and the Roach King.

It was his luck that the first person he met here, wherever here is, was a few bullets short of a magazine. And this was coming from a guy who kept a part of his brain in a jar on his perso...wait, is Lil' Jeremy okay?

While holding the RadAway up, the Lone Wanderer began a frantic, yet careful, search for a jar containing dead grey matter. Last he knew it was latched on the waist of the power armor, but most of his belongings were strewn out over the place.

Hyoudo Tenma

Tenma stood still as if frozen in her glorious stance. The applause and cheers should have come any moment now. Any moment now...

Umm, awkward.

Then, in a look both disappointed and bored, she turned to Jeremy, who was seemingly looking for something frantically. To that, she raised a brow.

"Erm, Is something the matter?"

Sakura

Sakura blinked in surprise, panicking inside.
whatshouldIdo!? Whyarewetalkingtothisgirl? I WANT TO HANG OUT WITH MY SISTER, WHAT’s THIS BITCH DOING?

Sakura smiled at Noriko pleasently.

“Hello! I’m sakura, nice to meet you!” She said nicely with a bow.
