Sakura nodded. “Of course they have them here, this store is huge! We’ll go get you your hair stuff! And some makeup too!” Sakura led her sister to the relevant department of the store.

Seras

Looks like we're onto something after all.

Vanguard's shove sent Seras away, the shadows pulling free of the armor, who was already in motion. Of course, so was Seras, her shadows turning into wings and sending her streaking away from Vanguard's follow-up kick, leaving him to crash into the fountain he'd tried to drive her into while she floated, hovering at a safe distance and watching for any further moves from the armor.

"I didn't ask, but do you have a spare hair dryer for me to use?" Rin asked as they went to that department.

Sakura

“Of course! I had one waiting just for you!” Sakura said with a voice full of pride in her foresight.

[Elf]

Rin

"Thank you," Rin said, a blush tinting her cheeks.  She paused at an end cap filled with scarfs and hats.  She picked out a dark rose bowler type hat and put it on Sakura's hair before grabbing a scarf with a print of roses the same color as the hat.  She wrapped that around Sakura's neck and then spun her to the mirror.

"There, what do you think?" she said with a smile.

Sakura

Sakura looked herself over carefully, a thoughtful expression on her face. After several long moments, she made her decision. “I like it!” She said with a spin. “I look super cute!”

Rin

"Good, then you should get it," Rin said with a nod, "Because I can't wear hats very well."

It was something she hated; she had to get an extra large helmet every time she went to the batting cages.  She just had a big head after all.

Sakura

Sakura frowned. “I could get you a fitted hat, if you like.” Sakura offered. “I think you’d look super cute.”

[Elf]

Rin

"No no, you don't have to do that," Rin said blushing, "You'd look cuter with a hat anyway.  I mean, look!"  She gestured to Sakura's reflection.

Lone Wanderer:

Sliding the Railway Rifle onto his back and placing the chems around his waist. Upon his return, to his surprise, he noticed that the women weren't fighting. Maybe there's hope for them yet.

"-ore this place is giving me an odd feeling, like something is seriously amiss." Shinobu said. You don't say...

"Well, since there ain't any black eyes yet, I suppose the two of you are now getting along for now?" He asked.

Sakura

“I want to do it, Nee-san.” Sakura said, pressing the point. “I’ll bet you would look even cuter than me in a nice hat.” Sakura said with decisive nod. She then took off the scarf and hat, placing them in the already overfilled cart. “Let’s go get you your stuff.” She began to lead them to their destination once more, a pleased expression on her face.

Sakagami Kenzo

Kenzo immediately looked at her with an overjoyed tone, his eyes brimming with excitedment. "Yeah! Want to crash at my place!?" He yelled out. He was so so happy, he would finally have an eating buddy! He'd cook her all his special meals and show her his sword collection, maybe they'd have a sleepover too! It was so long since he got to sleep with anyone but himself.


Hyoudo Tenma

"Before I came here I was eating delicious donuts, and before that I had donuts-

Every time that foolish child spoke of donuts, Tenma let out a haugthy, berating chuckle. You could see it in her eyes that she was looking down on her. Then, with a smug condescending smile, she patted the child on the head, as if she was a child.

"You poor, poor lost child. You must have caught a fatal case of shit taste. Donuts are only for pigs and the commoners to eat. The food of a true pleb. But I, no, all great minds would know that true nourishment can only come from Chocolate Chip Mint Ice Cream!!!" She said with an arrogant tone.

Of course, she lied. Tenma loved, no, adored donuts. She just said that to piss her off.

"Anyhow, before I got here, I was busy ruling the world." She then added flatly, as if such a statement was Tuesday for her.

Shinobu

Shinobu just looked at Tenma flatly amazed that someone would so brazingly lie about their hate of donuts. That woman seriously believed she could fool her donut senses, hah as if. You're 200 hundred years too early for that.

 With that Shinobu lept into action going at full speed, her movements but a blur to the human eye, she grabbed the mad scientists still outstretched arm and flipped her over her own shoulder slamming her into the ground. Shinobu quickly jumped on top of her and spoke with a chilly tone "You dare defy the donut gods foolish mortal, I will feed you so many donuts you turn into one, and then I'll eat it."

Urthemiel

The Old God suppressed a wince as the sudden white light invaded the castle and harmed him. Perhaps if he was a normal mage the sheer surprise from the sudden pain might make him drop his act but he was a blood mage. Self-harm and the sensations that came with it had prepared this body for pain long before and he would never be mastered by this sensation. A slight spark of magic cooled his body to prevent any sweating and he maintained his normal facade. Exactly how this effect came to be was intriguing and certainly not magic for anything that large would be sensed by him quite easily. The creation of such things would require a foci or other such tools.

Instead he watched with interest at the obvious pain the whelp was in. If the light was the cause then this then perhaps they were similar? Maybe in the least of ways. The reaction was much worse than his own and Urthemiel doubted that one could be any more of a dragon than he was. Perhaps it was some other trait? This would require more thought, but at a later time. For now it would probably be best to get away from this light.

Victoria Ashworth

This is why I did not want to go by portal. I had insisted that we could fly there just as easily, but my comrades had INSISTED it was safe and much faster. So I trusted them. I reminded myself never to do something as stupid as that as I was hurtling through some unknown intermediary dimension within the gauntlet. Well, that was if I ever ended up in a position to trust someone again. Who knows, I might be stuck here alone in this intermediary dimension until I go into torpor from lack of blood.

However, I soon discovered that was not the case, as I seemed to pass through a boundary of sorts, and immediately felt my direction change and ground appear under me, probably 20 feet down. However as I had nothing to change my orientation with, I could only brace myself for impact and hope for the best.

Soon I hit the ground with a start, and if my body wasn't that of a vampires I would probably have been hurting, as the strain on my body was rather great. However, that was not the only impact my body would receive. As I began to get up off the ground, my luggage, which I was not aware had been transported with me, landed on top of me. It was a fairly large chest, and I was immediately smacked back to the ground, and my skin ruptured a bit from the impact. Quickly using a bit of blood to revert the wound. I managed to lever the large chest off of me, and I was greeted first with the sight of a blonde haired accosting another woman with brownish hair about donuts for some odd reason. At least it seemed that I spoke the same language as the inhabitants of this realm.

Deciding to figure out first and foremost where I was, I got up off the ground, dusting myself off quickly, and made my way over to the two of them. Giving a polite cough to get their attention, I began to speak, "Excuse me, but could you possibly tell me where I am? Due to certain...circumstances I have been displaced without knowledge of where I have been displaced to. Could you perhaps enlighten me?" Hopefully the rules of polite speech are the same here as they are where I am from. It would not due to have to pick a fight immediately after arriving and having to break the masquerade.
