Suiren

“Don’t call it that.” Suiren replied with a deadpan. If he calls her strength that again she will smack him. “That was just some of my strength, what makes me the strongest. So it was a given that your flames would fall.”

She leading back against the wall and give him a grin, golden light crackled light lightning up her arm and along the stone she leaned on.  “I’m the Empress after all. All things will yield to my might.”

Lorenzo Remei

Lorenzo blinked once and stood completely dumbfounded. This wasn't her full? Bullshit, if this wasn't, she wouldn't be a cute girl, but some giant monster whale thing. Or a kraken. What the pirate was witnessing was ridiculous, absurd, impossible.

No, he shook his head. Lorenzo should've known better. After all, wasn't he the one who preached that nothing was impossible.
So he did what any would have done in his position, and began to laugh heartily. A thunderous laughter filled the room, and the pirate snickered in delight.

"Oho, sorry, sorry. Well, I can't prove you wrong myself... but are you sure it isn't soon enough to call yerself the strongest? Stronger than me, likely. But there are always big fish floating around if you catch my drift. Compared to them, you and I are but like salmon next to a whale." said the pirate with a chuckle, a bemused grin on his face. She was strong, and could be useful.

"There is someone that I am afraid could whoop the Empress in the blink of an eye. Of course, I would be no match either. Well, I know that because I fought him, you see? And I am afraid I can tell you'd be no match for that fish. Sadly, the strongest is a title beyond both of us it seems."

Then, he scratched his chin and smiled. Rising from his position, he pointed to her and snorted.

"But that is only for as long as one of us doesn't kick his ass..."

Suiren

Suiren looked at him like he was stupid, “Of course there are people more powerful than me. Don’t be stupid.” Suiren told him. “I know a few people that are on a level so much higher than I am at right now I doubt I can beat them.”

It was a simple statement, to be the strongest did not mean you were the most powerful. It just meant your strength was greater.

But she wasn't done, "But I am still stronger. All of existence is my strength, and I can rise myself to be greater than anything. Supreme, overcoming, overwhelming. So say that I am a salmon and this 'other person' is a whale... it just means you don't understand how strong I am."

"If he is a whale, then I will simply become an ocean. If he is a mountain I will become the earth, if he is a storm I will become the heavens. If he is the ocean I will become the world."

Then Suiren smiled, "Because my might is greater than anyone’s. And if it isn't normally, well, then I'll simply make it so it is.” That was it, even if someone was powerful, she would become more so. And really, Lorenzo was starting to piss off Suiren for doubting her.

“But I am more interested in something you did. You used magic, but you’re only human, not a half-demon. How did you do that, buddy?”

Lorenzo Remei

The whale lady went on and on with an endeavoring, almost religious spiel about how she was the greatest. Her spirit was a damn fine one, but she was missing the point. By all means he could have insisted with the hopes of getting her to help him out, but she looked a tad bit annoyed. Scratching his head, he shook it before speaking up.

"Woah, woah, woah. No need for a speech. Please. These ain't  the elections sweetheart, spare me the self-motivational pep talk mumbo-jumbo for when I'm drunk. Or give me a drink."

By all means, he was not one to talk.

"But you’re not making any sense. How can you be the strongest if you just said there are people more powerful than you? The est in strongest isn’t for being fancy you know? Well, I am sure you are right anyway.” The piate chuckled before sitting on the bench, right next to Surien. She did ask about his awesome magic, so he felt obliged to answer earnestly.

"As for my magic, what of it? Are you jelly that these incredible flames of BURNING LOVE are beyond you? Does this viril soul of scorching passion intimidate you!? Do you tremble at the thought that I, Lorenzo, reached heights beyond your understanding? Beyond the knowledge that you prized? Cause you should be! Fire magic, milady. Pretty neat huh? Took a daaaaaaaaaaamn long time to perfect, and it's still a work in progress.”

And then he proceeded to roar in laugher, pompous as ever.

Butler

He suppressed a chuckle behind a gloved hand, single eye glinting in attention to the back and forth, and more importantly, to Suiren's words steeled with conviction. It seemed Butler had truly picked an interesting master this time. He was looking forward to seeing more of her "strength".

Meanwhile, his lady pointed out an interesting detail. Her question implied pertinent things about her home universe that enticed the occultist in him; but he was foremost a prompt servant, and believed he knew the answer to her doubt. As Lorenzo's drivel was not so informative, amusing as it may have been, Butler saw fit to shed light on the matter.

"I believe the reason is magic operates differently in his universe," he began, speaking like an academic at a lecture. "In my world as well, its domain is not restricted to a single group by nature. To put it simply, the place where Lorenzo comes from most likely has different occult rules than those you know, milady."

Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald

As his shield retreated Kayneth saw the girl standing between him and the gaping hole that had formed.

But something was different, her insane cheerful demeanor was gone, replaced by someone who seemed very angry. With her cheerful demeanor gone Kayneth knew that the situation he was in had just gotten all the more dire.

He had already known that this girl was above Kayneth's level, that katana that she wielded held an energy similar to those of a Noble Phantasm.

And now Kayneth truly began to worry. He could never win, his fate was to die here, alone and in some rotten world. It wasn't his death that he was worried about, but the reactions that would come as a result of it.

In this god forsaken world, how would he ever pass on his crest? Nine generations of magical energy, spells forged by himself and his ancestors all symbols of his great heritage.

He couldn't allow all of that to be for nothing, he had to escape, he needed to flee.

"J-just what do you think you are doing? What kind of a monster are you? Creating some foolish undefined game and you dare think you can punish m-me? The great Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald for a crime I have not committed?"

The open gap was being blocked by the girl, he couldn't make a direct run for it even if he tried, he knew without a doubt that he would cut him down before he could even move. He had to try and distract her or keep her busy before the situation got any worse.

"Then let me ask you something, little girl. Did I once offend you somehow? Or was it just an accident that you happened to choose me for your ridiculous games?"

Aisha

The woman let out a thoughtful hum as she listened to her Children and the pretender. Then she gave the deceiver a hard look and issued a warning in the First Tongue. The hissing of serpents, growls of beasts, and the buzzing of agitated insects exited her mouth before she spoke normally again.

"I will suffer this falsehood if that is what you all wish."

Then Aisha's attention returned to the Child she was cradling. She stopped holding her and instead pulled out her dagger. The blade bit into the palm of her other hand and she kept it there for a little while until a pool of white blood had formed. Then she put the knife away and instead pulled out a small vial in which she poured her blood into which revealed that the damage to her hand was already gone. A stopper was placed on the vial and she pushed it into the Child's hands.

"Keep it with you and keep it safe. If you are ever in great danger drink it, and you will be strong for a little while."

Gintoki

What the hell, what the hell. The woman just stabbed her hand and gave her blood to the girl. Saying some bullshit about drinking it or something. Wait a minute, her blood was white? Even more suspicious! "No, no, that's too much for Gin-san. Are you off rocker to just stab yourself like that and then talk about blooddrinking or something. That's not even chuunibyo, you legitimately need help, you madwoman. And look at that color. It's the pot calling the kettle black if you give that dude hard time. He seems to be a sound Amanto, unlike you." Gintoki then called out to Anatu "Hey, kid, be a smart one and don't even try it. Who knows what is swimming in that."

Saber

Saber led Lancelot into the Station and took a firm hold of his wrist.  Whatever madness he suffered from seemed to worsen when he was in a crowd.  She hoped her touch would be enough of a tether for his sanity.

Riggs held up a tupperwear container and said, "Saber, shit, Abby Summers was here and you have to try one of these muffins before the fucks here eat them all."

The blond tilted her head and walked over, taking one of the offered bake goods.  She nibbled at the top and her eyes widened before they lit up.  Within moments the muffin was completely gone and she reached for another.  "Miss Summers' culinary skills must be commended.  Your profanity is becoming a bit of a problem, Officer."

Then she proceeded to guide Lancelot over to Henry.  The poor detective looked as if he'd only had one cup of coffee so far, and usually required multiple ones before actually functioning.

"I was expecting you earlier. Had some trouble?" Henry asked.

Saber nodded and answered, "I apologize for my tardiness.  I ran into a few old acquaintances, one of which needed my assistance.  I brought Lancelot.  His skills would be most valuable during this excursion."

Forest

"Is this it?"

Forest bit her lip as she looked at the expanse of daylight, her muscles locking in place.  One misstep, while not fatal, could prove very painful.  She nodded and said, "Yeah.  Bugger . . . "  She scowled as she looked at the pale, winter sunlight streaming in.  "This is it."

Rin

Rin felt her chest tighten as Shirou looked at her, something like anger and betrayal registering in his mismatched eyes before groaning in pain.  Great, just great, the one person who wants to help is the one you're pissed at.  Of course, Rin thought as she looked at him.

"So... did you also just arrive in this place or have you been here for a while like Sakura?" Sakura's Shirou asked her.

Rin's aquamarine eyes narrowed at him and said, "I just fell from the sky.  I think that classifies as me just getting here."

“It’s alright, don’t worry. You’re safe now. Everything will be just fine.” Sakura was saying to the Calico Shirou in a soft and soothing voice, “We’ll get you fixed up in no time.  We’ll heal your arms in no time.”

She was touching Shirou's face, stroking it, cooing at him before hugging him.  Rin watched the proceedings with wide eyes.  She's . . .not all there.  That's not her Shirou why is she . . . That's right, most people don't think of 'alternate realities' being a thing, Rin thought with a large amount of sadness.  Whatever had happened here, Sakura's already fragile mental state had been compromised.  Considering the events of the War with getting Shirou back and then being brought here, that's not too surprising.  She's lost her family; the one thing that means the most to her and she's fought so long and hard to have.  Now that she's in a position to get it back, she's not going to let anything stop her.  Which means she could be dangerous.

Rider started to talk about travel arrangements to Sakura's house.  Ice filled Rin's veins at the thought of being taken there.  This wasn't her Sakura or Rider; it would best as she viewed them as fellow magi with a common goal.  They could work together, and Rin would trust them, but she didn't want to be in the same house with Sakura holding all the cards.  Sakura had her Shirou, Rider, and a Caster class Servant who was Faust.  Which meant he could probably summon demonic familiars, and all Rin had was a dozen gems to her name, some pounds sterling, and the clothing on her back.

Rin was at a disadvantage here and she needed to learn about this place as fast as possible and maybe gain some allies of her own.

"Shirou, please just come back with us. Sakura will feel a lot more comfortable if she can talk to you for a bit and ensure you are healed and safe", Rider was saying to Calico Shirou, "And, it's not like you can do a lot in your current state."

Rin looked at Sakura and Faust, and without a word she walked up with her crest charged and placed her hand on Shirou's chest.  Whispering in broken German she began to calm Shirou's circuits to make sure the blades retracted first before she could heal him.  Once that was done, there was the easy task of putting things back the way they were, and considering it was Shirou, someone she had worked extensively on in the past, it was fairly easy.

Once he was healed she whispered to him, "Next time you're an idiot I'm going to take one of those swords and ram it where the sun doesn't shine."

Abigail

"I was thinking an earth tone or something.  My dog's an English Bulldog named Mr. Crumblebottom.  He's a sweetheart, now my familiars might give you some sass," Abigail said as she picked up a few packages of sheets and a microfiber blanket as well as a comforter.  She threw some pillows into the cart as well.

Then Archer appeared with a cart with some clothing in it.  The redhead sighed and said, "As much as I loathe to admit it, Mr. Bondage Pants is right.  You should try them on."

Lawrence sighed. "Familiars? I uh... hum." The Sin-Eater shrugged. He'd cross that bridge when it came to it. With Archer having arrived with an assortment of clothing, he headed towards the changing room, wondering just what he'd actually gotten himself into in rooming with a changeling witch.

Eye-candy and headaches. You should have found your own place.

I don't have cash though.

So? You can work. Ghost busting for cash is possible.

Feels wrong to do that though, you know?

Grabbing a pile of clothes out of the cart, Lawrence slipped into a changing room, and immediately regretted it. The entire thing smelled like sex, and he could see the presence of death and something... else left here. Deathbitch apparently had some boytoy before she got to him. Tugging some jeans on, he tried to block it out the best he could.

Abigail

Before Abigail could explain that her familiars were animals, Law made his way into the dressing room.  Which left her alone with Mr. Bondage Pants.  She glared at him for a moment before leaning on the cart, resting her chin on one of the pillows.

"What's your hidden agenda?" the redhead asked, looking at him with peridot green eyes.

Sakura

Sakura smiled as Rin worked on healing Shirou’s self-inflicted injuries. She understands. Sakura nodded contentedly. She’s so smart. I’m glad she’s here now, too. Just like Senpai. As Sakura listened to her cast her magical spell, she began to think about what she’d said before.

"You can't just go kidnapping people, Sakura.  Please, let him go.  I understand that you want to keep any and all versions of Shirou safe, but he should also be allowed to make his own choices."

"You can't just go kidnapping people, Sakura.” She’d said. Sakura had been puzzled by Rin’s statement, initially. She wasn’t kidnapping anyone, of course not, kidnapping is wrong. Very wrong.

What I’m doing to Senpai isn’t kidnapping. It’s clearly not! I’m just... I’m just-ensuring his good health and well being! She’d thought to herself. But... But- Nee-San. She’s so smart! Much smarter than me... But-I’m sure-I think... Her smile had faded away by now, replaced by a deliberative frown. She wasn’t so sure anymore about whether this was a good idea. What if-What if she was doing something wrong? No, that’s not true. She thought to herself. Senpai definitely had been in danger. But... maybe she could have done it with more-tact. Maybe if she’d been less aggressive, maybe if she’d said something different--maybe then he wouldn’t have swords in his arms.

“N-nee-san?” She began, fighting to hold back her confusion and sadness, she didn’t want to make her sister sad. “Nee-san... Do you think I’m bad?” She asked quietly.

Rin

Rin watched as Sakura's face just fell and the bright smile was replaced by a frown.  Rin blinked at the expression, but she was glad of its appearance.  Maybe she's thinking things through, Rin thought hopefully as she looked at the other girl.

Then Sakura said, “N-nee-san?”  Rin nodded and Sakura's voice was very quiet as she asked, “Nee-san... Do you think I’m bad?”

Damn it, Rin thought at the question and the crestfallen look on Sakura's face.  Even now Rin didn't like distressing or upsetting her younger sister when it could be helped.  She needs help, but I'm not the best person to help her.  I can't even get my feelings together, Rin thought as she moved away from Shirou and sighed.

She pulled Sakura into her arms and stroked her hair, resting her cheek on the other girl's head.  "No, I don't think you're bad.  Maybe a little misguided and a lot lost, but not bad," Rin answered, "Even when you were at your worse, I never thought you were bad."

Archer had adopted his traditional leaning posture as he focused his dead steel eyes onto the Changeling. "A hidden agenda? You're really insistent about that." There was a thump and then the sound of Law swearing inside the changing room, probably from getting his foot caught in something. "I could ask you the same, seeing you're one of the Fair Folk. What sort of thing will you ask from my Master for the favor you're giving him? His firstborn son?"

The bowman sighed. "You really seem to think the worst of me for some reason."

Sakura

“Oh-” Sakura said as Rin grabbed her in a heartfelt embrace. She closed her eyes and remembered what her life with Shirou had been like; how everything had been perfect. She felt Rin rest her cheek on her head, the slight pressure she applied calmed her down once again. She let loose a soft sigh, enjoying the feeling if her sister holding her and stroking her hair. Sakura felt Rin’s soft fingers make their way through her long purple hair as Rin began to speak.

"No, I don't think you're bad.  Maybe a little misguided and a lot lost, but not bad," Rin answered, "Even when you were at your worse, I never thought you were bad."

Sakura’s eyes filled with water as she began to sob. “Nee--Nee saan” She grabbed Rin in an embrace and buried her face in her sister’s shirt. “You really think so? You really mean that?”  She looked at Rin through the tears, expecting, hoping for, longing for a response from her sister.

Abigail

Abigail held up her finger and said, "Half Fae.  My mom was human."

She bit her lip and said, "I'm empathic, Archer.  I can sense it.  I don't think you're going to hurt Law persay, but you want to hurt someone."

She dug a little deeper into her pile of blankets and pillows.  She mumbled, "And can't a girl just like a guy and want to help him?"

Rin

Sakura was now sobbing in Rin's arms as she held that version of her sister and stroked her hair.  Sakura clung to Rin's wet clothing and buried her face against her.  Rin made soothing shushing noises to her and kissed the top of her head.

“You really think so? You really mean that?”

"Of course I do, Sakura," Rin said with a smile as she reached out to brush Sakura's tears away.  "Even if you're not my Sakura, you're still Sakura.  You maybe a lot more distressed, but you're not a bad girl.  Not at all."
