Saber
Saber smiled at Iri's reply and said, "I will buzz you up. Then you should be able to open the door."
She hit the control that would allow Iri into the apartment complex. "I am waiting here for you."
Corbin
And his femme fatal vampire just kicked the poor Space Marine like some empty can. He winced at the sight before she turned to him and demanded to know what an Elite was.
"We're kinda like a special task force. We do what the muggle cops can't, I guess. I dunno, I just know I get paid pretty well to hunt vampires," Corbin said with a shrug. "Which was why I was trying to warn you and your little Lolita pal because I didn't want to do some vampire hunting off duty."
He smiled and said, "Sorry I called you a cunt, that was me being a real sod."
Rin
"You can contract with me again, if you want," Rin offered, heat filling her cheeks, "I'm probably more compatible with you anyway and I want to make sure you have a proper supply."
I've lost you once, I'm sure as hell not going to lose you again, Rin thought.
"Drooling at a girl? What sort of pathetic excuse of a Master did you contract with?"
Forest
"Oi, oi, are ya really such a hot shit or a cheater? Getting into my head, ain't you? I might be a country girl, not some posh rich folk from Kyoto, but fucking ask first for invitation if you invade my soul."
Rikuyo went on, "I rarely do what I will do next since I cannot help but want to really screw over whom I fight, but I'm in a bad mood."
The girl didn't physically transform, but her bloodlust was palatable. She wanted to tear Forest apart, beat her and show that Rikuyo was superior. "Shut up. She's dead already anyway. And I'm not pissed enough yet." She said to herself, "Round 2."
"In a real fight," Forest said as she stared Rikuyo in the eyes, "There's no permission given. And I didn't invade your soul, I gleamed your thought from your mind because you were openly projecting it. If I were to 'invade your soul', you wouldn't be so talkative right now."
Rikuyo was right; she was simple. Changing her perspective on everything would be so easy for Forest. It would be as easy as opening up her Gmail account. In the back of her head she could hear a voice that sounded exactly like Wynn's urging her to do it.
Come now. You did not even want this fight in the first place. If the child is going to do such things and has powers that you do not, take the one advantage that you have.
No. Not now, not giving into that is part of what makes me who I am, Forest thought, shaking her head.
Sighing, she held up her hand and said, "I yield. You've won the fight."
