Forest
The only real difference between Forest's hand and any other 19 year old girl's would have been the calluses and the fact it was cool. However the chill could have been easily chocked up to bad circulation or the fact it was 20 degrees outside and she was only wearing half gloves instead of something covering her fingers. She on the other hand felt a rush of nervous excitement as the absurdly attractive fallen angel held her hand.
She mused when was the last time she had held hands with someone like this and reasoned it was when Gabriel was a child. She'd offer her arm from time to time as a gesture of politeness, but just walking and holding hands was an unfamiliar concept at this point. There was a sharp pang as she bit the inside of her cheek, a nervous tick she never outgrew. At least I'm not playing with my hair and giggling. So that's good, she thought to herself, or at least she thought she did. Or hoped she did. And then she remembered she had established a bit of a mental connection and well bugger. Gadreel might have heard it.
Once they were clear from the food court, Forest kept her senses open as she guided him back to the cosmetics store. She sent, Even if there aren't any specials, I really don't mind splurging on something nice. Also, thank you again back there. Part of me hopes that Kuro somehow beats Mordred. Lord and Lady, it would be absurdly bad if she found out what I am.
Which is one of the reasons I wanted to give a fake name if introduced. My real name isn't exactly common for a woman and holds a bit of . . . notaraity.
She studied his long hair and said aloud, "For a shampoo or conditioner, I'd recommend something with anti-breakage at least. And no sulfates. I read on line they're like the devil for your hair."
Gabriel
The hybrid smiled at Emily's answer only to notice that Erica was crying. Frowning, he reached over and handed her a napkin. "Here," he said simply.
Then he answered and said, "I'd like companionship and maybe a co-conspirator honestly. Someone who can help me in some of my endeavors."
