Medaka Kurokami

Medaka broke eye contact with Shinobu, looking off to the side and downward.  "Yes.  Actually I had a small skirmish with them yesterday.  They are good people but ill equipped to handle the dangers of this city."

Toe's cheap Lorenzo imitation echoed through her mind.  How are you any better?  You couldn't save me or the cops.

"Are...Are you looking to get doughnuts or money from them?  Why do you ask?"  She said, her voice had been drained of all its enthusiasm.  It was dry, lacking her usual confidence.

Relius Clover

The puppeteer effortlessly opened the doors to the castle and casually strolled in, marveling in the architectural design, as if visiting a museum.  He traveled from room to room, picking out details and cataloging them in the files of his mind.  Whomever owned this castle either has guests over a lot or simply has a lot of supernatural associates.  There was evidence of all sorts of events taking place.  However, his short attention span kept him from inspecting them beyond one or two mental notes.

After a while, he wondered upstairs, checking various bedrooms just to ensure that there were not a large number of people staying here.  It did not take him long to deduce that very few people actually rooming in the castle.  Regardless, he did not encounter anyone in his exploration.

Relius walked casually through the hall. His shoes clacked a little, echoing slightly thanks to the hall structure.  He turned to the right, facing down the last door of a room he had not yet ventured into.  The light was on inside.

Perhaps this is the owner's room. Curious, in the past I encountered the beast from before on a mere subway,  What variant of otherworldly beast lies beyond this door?

His excitement manifested itself in the form of a devilish grin as he softly opened the door.

Lumen

Mitsuba-ane? Was that some form of endearment? They didn't seem to be siblings so it might be possible that they were in a relationship. Of course, he could also just be an annoyingly affectionate customer as well. Lumen mouthed, 'Do you want me to get rid of him,' hoping that the other woman could get the gist of what she was trying to say. It was better to be discreet about these kinds of things.

Darcy Hugh

Darcy grinned and whistled in a humourous fashion. He walked up to Shiroe

"Impressive. Sorry pal, but I'm afraid I don't have anything as fancy. You could say I'm good at catching people unawares. Oh, and I can drive, so I guess you could add running away to the list. Not that I'd be, well, running."

The priest brought his hand to his mouth and chuckled internally at his own wit, as if that joke was the greatest in the world.

"Just don't go too crazy, sword boy. We don't want to be spotted, it's better to not use any violence at all. If you're cornered into a fight, just run. No point in slaughtering your way in if it's just to add your body to the pile of corpses. Am I making sense?"

Rider

As Rider entered the shop, she sensed a man approaching her from behind. Turning around, she noticed a rather attractive, muscular man walking towards her.

"Hello there, lady", he said as he approached. "Well, this is a day of new experiences. First I end up in wherever this place is, then I happen across someone like you."

Rider smiled, pondering her reaction for a moment. It was obvious that the man was interested in her and, whilst she generally preferred other women, she certainly could make an exception for an attractive man like this. And, if didn't seem to her that Sakura was particularly bothered about her returning home quickly. After all, she had a new servant not. So, why not give the guy a chance?

"Hi", she said, kindly. "I'm Rider. Nice to meet you."

Rin

At least she didn't have a melt down at me suggesting that I should go for a walk, Rin thought dryly.

Then there was the thought of taking a bug with her.  The idea made Rin's skin crawl, but she had a feeling if she refused Sakura would just do it anyway.

"Jeanne? Who's Jeanne?" Rin asked with a slight frown, the ordeal about the bug put to the back burner for now, her confusion mirroring Archer's.

Forest

Well, life spans are getting longer so it would make sense that there is the luxury of having a longer adolescence.   Admittedly, I'm sort of jealous of them, Forest sent to Gadreel.  She looked around sighed.  More than sort of jealous, more like a lot jealous.

Aloud she answered, "That's true, but the old adage of, 'You get what you pay for' holds some weight too."  Forest frowned at a display at the store's entrance of a set of lipsticks in the most boring set of pinks and neutrals she ever laid eyes on.  "As to how this place gets it's wares, it's best not to ask.  However I assume Inter-dimensional Magic plays a part in it."

Gadreel

I do wonder what a childhood would be like, he thought to Forest. It is for such jealousy that many of my kind have done terrible things to humanity. That you have not done the same speaks well of you.

"Telling me not to ask merely increases my desire to do so," the exile openly lamented, exhaling with much drama. He decided to take his mind off of such unfortunate necessities of etiquette and focus on the cosmetics available. After taking in the limited array of hues presented by the displays, he consoled himself with "... at least there is something to be said for understated accentuation."

Forest

Forest tilted her head at Gadreel's confession and replied, I remember my childhood being rough, violent, and involving weapons and trying to make up to my uncle the fact that my bits don't dangle.  However, I've worked hard enough that I have a bit of leeway to do some immature things from time to time.

She chuckled at his sighing and replied, "Well, you can ask all you want, but my answer would be," she lifted her arms and wiggled her fingers, "It's magic, I can't explain sod all."

"Bah, boring.  Give me burgundy or purple.  Maybe they have the alternative colors hidden at the back of the store.  I'm old and dead, doesn't mean I should look like a grandma."

Sakura Matou

"Right!" Sakura slammed her fist into her open palm. "You two haven't met her yet! Jeanne is my new servant, servant Ruler. You might have heard of her, she's Joan of Arc."

Sakura smiled happily. "She's really nice, I'm sure you two will get along with her." As Sakura blathered about her new friend, she slowly detensed and held herself differently, in a more calm and collected manner. She absent mindedly leaned against Archer with a smile. "Anyway, Rin, be safe on your walk, ok? This city is nothing like you've ever seen before."

Numina

At the crashing sound of something rather large the cultist very much hoped that the fox girl was gone. But she couldn't take that chance. A harsh, guttural sound came out of her mouth that would have made the throat of any normal human sore. If that pest didn't die then she would catch them eventually and if they couldn't run they would have to make it more difficult to attack them.

With that in mind the child heeded her command and they began to run towards the large tower that was a major landmark of the district. People generally stayed away from there and perhaps it would deter that pest a well.

Quote
Nanashi

Move, keep moving. She could see the monstrosity change direction, running into the center of the district. Right towards the…

Oh shit.

Her eyes widened, as the flames around her intensified and collected and focused . And then she exploded off the wall and through the air to the other side of the street, only absentmindedly noticing the man chasing her from the corner of her eye. Need to stop it now, before it gets to deep. There is no telling what the one there would do if he got its hands on something like that. The flames collected around her, as he back bent. She pointed her palm at the target, a sphere of fire hovering within it. The flames collected as she soared though the air, bending, growing, shining with a beautiful blue light. By the time it was ready she was almost on the other side.

Fox Fire, Strike Cannon!

The flames from the hand exploded, shooting the sphere of flames at the monstrosity, and the monstrosity with incredible speed, like a cannon ball. Her body flipped, and landed on the side of the wall, her one of her hands finding a grasping point while her feet sat on a windowsill. The other hand was still outstretched towards the creature.

Julius

The nobleman had to act quickly. For now, he had to focus on stopping the villain's attack. He was too far away to catch up with the spell on foot, but he had a cunning plan. He hurled another bottle of holy water he kept in stock and aimed his pistol to shoot it the moment it was above the sphere of sourcerous fire. If the plan worked, the blessed water would dispel the sorcerous flame, splashed over the place when pierced by the bullet. He likely wouldn't have time to reload his gun again, which was quite a pity. He believed that if he was forced to fight this witch more seriously, his silver bullets he stocked just in case he ran into a werewolf would surely have some effect on her. After all it seemed that the blood of animal shifters ran in her veins. However, she didn't yet reach the level of vileness displayed by the ghost who possessed that woman's body. She could still repent.

Kuro

She shruged at the overly serious speech Mordred gave her, she yawned a bit at the end, it was rather philosophical, but at the same time it was a rather drawn out way of saying she'd go on despite the odds. This was why she teased her to begin with, maybe she'd let it slide this time.

"That's true Mord...So which direction is it?" The white haired girl asked the blonde as they walked out of the store, and out in to the open again.

Mordred

"That way." She pointed at the direction they were supposed to head towards. She remembered the adress from the recruitment posters plastered over the walls of the city. There were also posters of someone looking for a bouncer, but she wasn't desperate enough to look for such job if more promising job awaited her.

"Oh, and I don't know if they will let you cheer on me, so wait patiently for me if it's the case, okay?" Mordred wanted to make sure that her companion wouldn't wander away when she was busy. Strong or not, she was still a kid. No way she would let her wander homeless alone. She should find a place to stay for Kuro as well. She heard about a person called Matou who apparently rented out houses in a neighborhood that really seemed to be peaceful and nice. Why this surname feels somewhat familiar?, she wondered.

They eventually reached their destination, the building were the recruitment was supposed to be held. The place looked pretty austere but sturdy and solid. Maybe there was no point to embellishing it if it could get blown up by some terrorist like a police station yesterday. Rumors have spread fast about that incident, but no one was sure who exactly was responsible for that tragedy.

"Yeah, here we are, Kuro. Wish me luck!" She asked the younger girl for a moral support. She would give her best, but she was still mildly superstitious.

Mitsuba

"No." The woman denied his new employee's proposal in brief manner. Mitsuba hoped Lumen didn't use to be a vigilante. Those folks had nasty tendency to get triggered by criminals. And those criminals made up majority of her customer base! She needed a bouncer simply because there were criminal elements that lacked a sense of reason completely. Like Jaywalkers with their obsession about forcing people to jaywalk in order to ran over them with their vehicles. Or Digganobs, some group of deluded human gangers who pretended to be burly greenskinned ogre like non-humans like tryhards they were. Finally there were Technobarbarians, Mad Max rejects with affinity for obnoxious dubstep music. Their leaders going running around only in loincloth and helmets and being uncomfortably flamboyant. Halloweeners were rumored to be wiped by some vigilantes, but freaks like that always kept coming back.

"Welcome back, Yamanashi-san! What's the order? The usual?" Mitsuba behaved as accomodating as she could be. Maybe Lumen would take the hint and not think again about chasing away the customer. Hopefully she was the type of person that was quick to learn. Otherwise, it would be troublesome if she looked at every single customer suspiciously. Being paranoid was her 'gimmick' after all, but Mitsuba also kept up appearances that she wasn't distrusting every single person in existence.

Shirou

Shirou did a sort of awkward dance with his feet while he asked his question. "So um, what was, why did you touch my leg in the theater…?" He asked quietly. "Did that mean anything?"

Garou XIII

Garou kept sobbing uncontrollably, quite literally crying his eyes out.

“You don’t understand! There’s no way you can understand! This water is…waaaaaaaaah!!”

Tears were now dropping like waterfalls, making his eyes shrivel and sink back into his skull like dried prunes. And then, and then…

His eyes became moé. A reinvigorating feeling coursed into his veins, as if he had been reborn. He never felt so awake in his whole life!!

“Holy shit, I can see! I’m not even tired anymore, it’s like my body was just filled with liquid energy! Look!”

Garou then proceeded to flex and show off his pecs before doing some pushups.

“HAha, this is amazing!”

Petra

Shocking! This man's cooking in a way rivaled her own miracles. Well, she doubted he would be able to pull someone nearly dead from the brink just like her, but it was still amazing. She kinda felt curious about how he did that. Maybe spying on him a little wouldn't harm anybody. Maybe. No, it would be rude to observe him like some person up to no good. But again, she was so curious about that.

"Now let us continue with the meal, I prepared a bruschetta with garlic bread for you as an appetizer, segnor." Tonio already offered another meal to Garou.

Theodore

The demon handed the girl the bag full with RPG shells on one hand and the gun on the other. He looked utterly disinterested, almost bored, but after a while his lips almost curled upwards ominously.

”Yep. But don’t forget, you only get 10 shots so make them count. Don’t forget, this is our little secret. We’ll keep in touch.”

Finally, he turned his back on her and walked away, waving lazily. One had to wonder why did he go to such lengths for her. He didn’t really have a reason to humor her after all. Either way, authorities would probably show up here soon, so it was best if he didn't stick around.

If he had to explain himself, he would say that he did it because he was bored.

Rikuyo

Wow, he really gave her such a wonderful toy after all! Maybe she should go hunt some big game? A herd of deer would just go kaboom with a single shot, lots of food to get, and already roasted! She carried the big gun on her back, and attached grenades to an ammo belt that got mysteriously included with whole set. She looked armed and dangerous. Looking for some prey to hunt down, she walked away from the scene. Not because she was particularly afraid of the cops, but because she wasn't the type to linger in one place unless she wanted to nap somewhere. Speaking of which, she was pretty damn full after that meal. She had ingested so much food that she felt like a lion who wanted just to nap somewhere.

"I guess I'll have to find some place to crash." She said, wandering in a search for a good spot to nap.

Quote
Emily

The Changeling kept a level expression for the moment, not sure how to deal with the woman's insistence. As much as she wanted to point that out that the woman wasn't making a hit or miss process any easier with her insistence, she wasn't sure whether she should keep playing along or not.

"I mean, it's not as simple as that," she said to the Spirit Vessel, before turning to Gabe, "That aside, I must admit to being a bit curious if that applies to more situations than this one."

Rikuyo

Rikuyo looked around in vain for a spot where she could nap. No trees to sleep under, this concrete jungle didn't even have concrete trees. She passed by some place when her attention got caught by what seemed to her like some guy looking like a woman, and in a drag too. It couldn't be a girl, she didn't find other girls cute. Girls doing stuff like that with other girls was just odd, bizarre and weirdass, and she couldn't understand why one would be into such things. But why that guy was even in girly clothes, was he an actor? Was that some sort of spectacle? She couldn't help but go and ask around.

And so, the armed woman entered the place. "Hey, are ya actors or somethin'? What's going 'ere?" A handsome looking foreigner and a girl with scarf where there too. Who knew, maybe the "girl with scarf" was also some guy. After all women couldn't participate in plays!

GAROU XIII

Garou grinned and sat back at the table, eager to see what the food would taste like. If the water was that good, an actual meal had to be even better! Still, he didn’t completely trust  the chef. It might just be a trap to lure him into a false sense of security. It was still creepy as shit.

There was just something about his look that was eerie to him. Still, he didn’t feel the need to worry anymore. Tonio’s mistake was to reinvigorate him with that delicious amazing water. If he pulled something funny, he’d just smack him silly. Hopefully it wouldn’t come to that.

After all, he was enjoying himself just fine.

Then, the chef arrived with a new plate. Garou’s adorable red eyes lit up, but suddenly dropped into a sulk. Something was wrong, terribly wrong. Even for a joke, this was going too far.

“Huh? It’s just tomato on bread. C’mon, give me some meat already, I’m starving.” He complained, much like a kid who was expecting a chocolate cake but was instead served spinach.
