Rin
Rin gasped as Garou almost knocked the poor Good Samaritan off of his feet. The guy gasped, stumbled, and Rin reached out to straighten him. "Oh whoops," Garou said in way of apology and the poor guy glared at him.
Petra said, "Sorry in advance for my pal, he sometimes is like that."
"You mean always like that," Rin muttered under her breath as her eyes traveled skyward.
"Let's go then," Petra said to them, looking eager to be out of here.
Rin smiled at the guy and said, "Thank you, and I'm sorry about my friend."
"You're welcome. So, maybe in exchange, you could give me your number?" he asked with a smile.
Rin held up her hands and said, "I don't have a phone yet, maybe you could give me yours?"
He nodded and then pulled a business card out of his wallet and handed it to her. Rin thanked him, pocketed it and lead the way. Like the poor guy, Chuck Finley from his business card, had said, it wasn't overly far. Rin blinked at the brownstone building with a wooden sign with the words, "World's End" burned in a weathered font on it.
She opened the door and it had stairs that lead to a lower level, which was obviously the bar/tavern itself. The floors were hard wood and polished to a sheen. Stain glass lamps in dark color shot beams of dark colored light through the dim room. A juke box in the corner glowed with it's own warm, radiant light. The wall behind the bar was covered by a giant mirror that reflected the room and most of it's occupants back.
Standing at the bar was a giant man with dark brown skin and a clean shaven head. What looked like to be a goblin from fairy tales was pushing a broom on the floor, and an extremely lovely woman with long, bright blue hair and pointed ears wore an apron and was taking the order of one of the tables. The bar itself wasn't overly crowded, but Rin could feel a pulse of prana humming through the place that was a combination of subtle wards and protection and pacifism spells.
There was also a feeling of belonging that Rin couldn't shake off. Very much a feeling of, "All are welcome here if thy shall cause no harm to others or thine selves."
"Oh," she said as she started to take her coat off while walking down the steps.
Corbin
Corbin looked at Mordred and said, "The Elites have some pretty powerful types among their ranks, and sometimes we spar with each other. The gym also doubles as a sparring ground so there's no chance of us hurting innocent bystanders, you know? Not to mention it's close to our med station if anyone gets too rowdy and gets hurt."
He looked at Kuro and laughed, "Nothing too fancy. It's literally the bastardizaton of a cheap gym with a weight set up and a dojo. It just gives us a chance to flex our muscles without the worry of hurting someone else or people gawking because someone can literally lift a car over their heads. Which I can't do because I have skinny arms."
Forest
Even after all this time and literally raising one, I'm still at a loss for some of the stuff they do . . .
Forest smiled back at Gadreel's grin before he mused, "For you, a shade of blue may be the solution... As for me, something mild. The elimination of unpleasant scent tends to be more important for one such as I than adding anything particularly pleasant."
"Got it, something mild . . . I can do that," Forest said before grinning back, "Maybe I should leave myself in your care then."
Annndddd then she looked away realizing what other connotations those words might have.
Gabriel
Gabriel laughed at Emily's grin and replied, "Well to introduce you to it yes, or reintroduce you with it as it where."
He leaned forward and whispered, "I might have had other things in mind, but I did want to get to know you without Erica planning our futures together."
