Sakagami Kenzo
Kenzo nodded in understanding, ignoring the man’s taunts. He was a wanker that he would rather have never seen again, scum trash unfit to even call itself human. Yes, but at the same time, he knew that the man in front of him was indeed human.
While he couldn’t quite accept it in his heart, he couldn’t refute it. Despite his feelings towards him, despite how much he hated to admit it, that man did have a point.

His words were soft, happy and longing, like he was recalling a fond memory. “I love humans, that is all there is to it. They may be weak, pitiful, stupid creatures on the outside, but even then, my feelings will never change. That’s all there is to it.”
The demon tilted his head as if confused, or perhaps it was intrigued. Either way, there was something peculiar about his words. Perhaps there was more to it, whether he was aware of it or not. However, there was no dishonesty in his words.
If anything, the only person Kenzo could lie to was himself.
“Isn’t it normal to imitate something in order to understand it? As a scientist, you should know that much.”
