"There, there, it's fine. Tell me, is it scary, Akatsuki?"

The young girl, tears in her eyes, stood in shock for a moment. Did he think she was scared of him? No, she wasn't scared of him, she was scared of...

What was she scared of? The transformations? No, they were just foreign, curious, something she needed to know about. They just made her uneasy. The ghost child? No, he had just startled her, surprised her. She had no real reason to be scared of him.

But then, why was she scared?

There was only one answer.

"I don't know!" She said loudly, hugging Kenzo back as she fully burst into tears. "I don't know!"

Emily

Emily smiled as Darcy pulled the photo out of his pocket, unsurprised by the priest's gushing over the little girl.

"Yeah, she is," Emily said, "Now come on. I don't think you want to risk even the slightest chance of missing that rehearsal, so we should hurry."

Lumen

The Patchwork eventually decided that the Nexus wasn't so bad as she hopped with one leg from platform of solid air to platform. It was rather nice being under a blue sky with a real sun and not having to work for hours. Of course, there always had to be something that could distract her from just generally enjoying her time. It was the sound of some kid crying, and it did bother her enough to check it out.

It wouldn't be smart for a Patchwork to just jump out of nowhere so first Lumen dropped to ground level. She straightened her brown cloak, put on her gloves, and tightened her boots before beginning to scale the building. It was hopefully less off putting than the alternative and wasn't very difficult. Within a few moments she had reached the top and Lumen pulled herself onto the roof.

Sakagami Kenzo

Kenzo smiled warmly at the poor girl, comforting her in a tight hug. For a moment, he was simply cradling her and letting her cry, waiting for her to calm a bit. Then, he let go, wiped her tears with his sleeve and spoke with a reassuring tone, smiling again as if to tell her it was alright.

"It's fine, Akatsuki. It's okay to not know, it is natural. People live, change, and doubt. They don't always know, so they learn. I am sure you will become a fine lady, a beautiful and elegant lady that will know many things. You might not know a great deal of things, but you can learn. That is what it means to live, and grow. You are growing, Akatsuki. It's scary, but it's going to be okay."

Then, he tapped on her shoulder and gave her another bear hug, cradling her again and giving all the warmth he could give.

"It's going to be okay."

Shinobu

As Shinobu drew closer to the source, the sense of imminent danger growing, she noticed that Gintoki had chosen to follow her on this detour which amused her. They soon arrived at a large iron gate which led to a manor of quite some size. "I think it's here" she said. The vampire didn't even hesitate when she jumped over the gate certain that they had come to the right place, she then procedeed forward at a calm pace wary of her surrounding.

Gintoki

Goddamnit, at this rate they would get into trouble with tax revenue robbers aka the police, trespassing on a private property like this. He climbed the wall in pursuit of Shinobu who already walked towards the manor. "Oi, so we will just knock on their doors?" Trying to break in would only get them into bigger trouble.

Urthemiel

The mage signed as the earth split apart and both fire and lava was released from the depths. With a bright glow she transformed once more into a glorious dragon and grabbed onto Mordred and gently placed the dress over a horn before taking flight. The heat was much less bothersome as a dragon and the force of their takeoff had already created a bit of distance between them and the disasters.

It only took a short while and a few directions from Mordred before they arrived in front of the apartment. The blonde was placed back on the ground as Urthemiel changed back. In one hand she held the black dress from earlier while the other glowed with a faint light as the Changeling's agitated injuries were being repaired. "Oh, what am I to do with you, Mordred. You've already dirtied your suit and been injured. I do hope this isn't too common."

Despite her words there was a hint of carefully crafted amusement in her tone. She got closer and granted Mordred another kiss on the cheek but the healing magic from her hand poured ceaselessly to numb pain and repair damage even as she gently took the Changeling's arm. "Surely it isn't too much for even an injured knight to take her lady home?"

It was good to allow someone to retain their pride and strength. Allowing her this at the very least should on some level make her feel better. At the very least, Urthemiel did enjoy playing the caring part on occasion.

Honestly, she wouldn't probably make it if she activated her spear on time. This monster proved to be on another level than which she faced before. Her strength was clearly wanting, and she needed to improve. "Unfortunately, I don't think my foes care about keeping my clothes clean. I'm sorry, even if I'm bit stronger now, I still lost..." She sighed in resignation. "Yeah, I will manage. Thanks for patching me up, I owe you." So she took her lady back to their modest apartment. Emily wasn't back yet in the apartment when they arrived.

Shinobu

"I do not think there will be much use knoacking" the vampire calmly said as she noticed that the door in the distance was being blown open by a force from inside, through the remains came a dark haired young woman who was soon followed by a purple haired one. The dark haired woman fixed the door with what she assumed to be magic. The purple haired woman seemed to be yelling at the one who had most likely destroyed the door.

He did not see what happened in detail, but he was sure the doors got blown up. "I'm not sure whom they are, but they are definitely suspicious. Doors don't explode like that in normal households. Are we gonna check on them, or just go back? I wouldn't be surprised if they are some trigger happy gorillas."

[SINIB]

Oka

"Who's there?" Oka exclaimed, scooting back in her sleeping bag, cowering into her friend's protective warmth. "I'll-I'll call the police if you try anything funny!"

Major Kisaragi

Just before his most powerful blow slew the wicked monster, it did something unspeakable, the entire area shifted to a hellish landscape and the monster itself grew to a humonguos size, then the wave hit and seemingly destroyed it. The hellish landscape persisted though scorching Jin with it's infernal heat, reacting quickly the NOL major created patches of ice that he slid on out of the area. "

Urthemiel

While the apartment was more akin to a garbage bin compared to the places she had been in Urthemiel ignored the state of the place for now. Instead her burning gaze to Mordred's dirty attire and she methodically began to remove the blonde's suit as she spoke. "You need to undress immediately. I allowed it for a moment outside so that you could preserve your dignity but now it must go."


Lumen

The multi colored girl blinked at the sight of the teenager in a sleeping bag with her moth thing. She waved a gloved hand at the teenager and the look on her face was completely nonchalant. In fact, it was almost relaxed. "Yo. Why are you sleeping on the roof?"

The man beside her seemed to be overly cautious. "What is life without risks? It is an empty existence that never achieves anything and merely wallow in regret. Whether they are these trigger happy gorillas you speak of remains to be seen. Seeing as we have have already come this far there is no point in turning back". After Shinobu said this she resumed her walk over to the house.

Noel instantly pushed Erica off of her, her face redder than the most firey of firetrucks. "R-R-R-R-R-R-Ragna!!! How much of that did you see!" Noel stammered and fell out of her chair, collapsing on the floor and earing the gaze of some irate customers.

"How much?" He stammered. "I just saw the part where she floated up on the table and started sucking your face off." And you didn't move away, you idiot, he didn't add.

Ragna rubbed his eyes and looked again at the girl, her butt on the floor. Yeah, she was real. This wasn't some stupid perverted dream of Kagura's. An awkwardness filled him, and he was unsure what to say. How was he supposed to react to that.

Well, doesn't hurt being supportive every now and then.

"So, uh..." he mumbled, wondering how to approach the subject. "Have you... come out yet?"

Erica

The construct blinked confusedly and with no small degree of hurt as she was pushed away and Noel fell out of her chair. Her eyes were filled with both doubt but also caution, as if she was scared that the blonde would run or force her to leave. Then with great trepidation and the slightest tremble in her voice she asked the other artificial being, "Are you alright?"

Sakura and Shirou

As Irisviel walked off, Sakura gently took Shirou's hand into hers, trying to comfort him a little as they walked towards the kitchen. Still in a somewhat depressed mood, and feeling rather tired, the two of them cooked theirselves a simple meal. Then, after they had eaten, Sakura led Shirou to the room Irisviel had given her, and the two of them undressed and got into the bed, too tired and depressed from what had happened to do anything other than sleep. Hugging each other tightly, the two of them drifted off.

Forest

The blond wiped the confetti from her face that the ghost child threw at her before starting to float before her.  She bit the inside of her cheek hard enough to taste blood.  "Fine, I'll go somewhere else then and you all can do whatever you wish," she said in a guarded voice.

Then she turned on her heel and moved to look for a room where she wasn't in the way and could be alone.  The first thing that Forest did was comb her hair out and re-braid it.  If she was successful, then she didn't want to be lectured because she had grown lax on her personal grooming. 

Even though she didn't have the right materials to do the ritual properly, that wasn't the point.  Knowing the name was the point; it gave her power to call this person.  Gripping her hands into tight fists, she said, "I call you to me.  Not once, nor twice, but thrice.  Please head my call.  Lady Wynn Noreen Umbra.  Wynn Noreen Umbra.  Wynn Noreen Umbra."

Please Wynn, if you can take me home, I'll let you do whatever you want to me for a night . . .


Saber

The blond finished her meal and headed back to the police station . . . only to find it smoldering ruins.  So she headed home, hoping Lancelot would be there. 

Things had gone terribly amiss tonight.  I need to see if he has recovered and then get with Henry to try to figure out what is going on with this Sewer Brigade.
