His resolve was admirable as he stood up once more, ready to get smacked down again. The saint gleefully smiled back at him as he asked her if she was ready once more.

"Mhm...You like it rough, how could I've forgotten? You're deliberately losing so that I'll scold you for not improving," A flag appeared in her hand for the first since they started training together. The blonde was slowly approaching him as she continued her rant. "What a pervert you are, I'll have to correct you~" Her voice came out teasingly as she appeared next to him, performing a sweeping blow to knock him over.

You didn't get to be Liam's age without being able to field questions about that half of the day you spent stuffed in a box in a dark place. "About as well as it could be in this place. No booms or burns where there shouldn't be, so it's all smooth enough. Things're treatin' you well, then. Good, good."

He held his arm out to Petra. "Was there anywhere in particular you wanted to see first on this fancy lil' tour?"

"I'm no position to disclose full details, but officer Vermillion is known for her good performance. And the big guy proved to be level headed in the end, so I guess he can handle it fine as her support." Of course, some information should not be disclosed in presence of civilians. He heard that one of cops lost a job over that today. Speaking of which...

"Have you heard that someone actually got fired from the police recently?" He shared that rumor with Methusaleh, and remembered the name of that police officer. "Hmm, Saber, was it? What unusual times, normally people either change their job before it's too late, manage to retire or die on duty."

The issue was that no signature seemed to be recognizably stronger than others, so the two really couldn't just handle the biggest threat. However, what they could do was to follow to the area with highest concentration of whatever lurked there. There was a wing on the third floor of the hospital where the ominous aura seemed to be strongest.

Shirou easily dodged her opening move, quickly and carefully taking a step back away from her leg. He smiled at her taunts before he stepped back again, waiting for an opening before charging in. "So, what are you planning on doing with that big unwieldy flag?" He asked her. "Seems like a silly weapon to me."

Her blow was dodged by her opponent taking a step back, from the way he was openly he clearly wasn't used to unusual weapons. Her smile just grew even bigger in response to the taunts. They didn't faze her the least, if anything she seemed happier. "A silly weapons you say...." Her balance shifted as she twisted her body, her grip on the flag was reversed while sliding down until she held it at the end.

"You're still within range!" In that single moment, her weapon flew towards shirou at an irregular angle. From the ground up, right in between his legs.

Relius turned his head to his new business partner and let loose a chuckle.  “I suppose that would be a more elegant title.  I do still have my pride.”

The puppeteer then stepped directly into the puddle of blood, the light splashes colored his footwear with the demon’s body fluid.  His back faced Willam.  “If you dont mind me asking, how will you initiate this plan of yours?  I was actually going to start my own before you paid me a visit.”  He said, turning his head slightly to the right, showing off the side of his mask.

The former gladiator made a little 'o' with her mouth, then nodded to Mordred. Nothing more needed to be said there, she could take a hint.

And so they went, and into the steak place they came, and a male server escorted them to a booth and asked them for their drinks, before leaving them to look at the menu.

And so they had to take the stairs, just to be safe. Were the creatures aware of their presence? They might sabotage the elevators if those were relied on.

As soon as Shirou saw her start to speak, no, even slightly before that, he'd started to dodge, managing to just barely dodge her strike. Luckily. Very luckily. He doubted he'd be standing after taking such a hit to such a sensitive place.

"Hey hey hey." Shirou said, frowning at her. "Going for a hit down there is unfair." He reprimanded her. "Do you need to use such cowardly tactics as that to beat me, Jeanne?" He asked her teasingly.

He accepted the book from her hand and put it on the desk. "Keep my on my toes you say, I think my current spot is pretty nice." Archer said while relaxing in the chair. "A nice comfortable chair and a cute girl to get me things. It's definetly nice."

His girlfriend hugged him from behind, seeking his comfort after the shocking event. "Of course I don't mind it, but it might be a bit hard walking up stairs like this." Not that there were any stairs in sight, he just wanted to say something to make things appear normal. He was pretty short on subject on though, hmm maybe...

"Are you gonna buy ice cream for Wormy too?"

She shook her head at hearing his assertions. "Nothing is unfair in a battle, that kind of thinking will get you killed. I don't remember challenging you to a duel of honor. Your enemy will exploit every weak point you have. I could have hit if I'd really wanted to. If you mock an exprienced fighter's weapon of choice again, I won't miss." Her voice was sweet but her violet eyes glared at him dangerously.

Shirou shuddered at her not-so-veiled threat and nodded seriously. "Alright, I'm sorry." He told her as he backed out of her range quickly. "Just don't whack me downstairs, please." He said as he threw a sword behind her, sending it twirling towards his opponent as he instantly summoned another one.

Hazama's smile crawled wider on his lips like a snake and he puffed his chest, saluting formally as if to say got it.

Shirou wasn't able to react before the first hit. It was a good, clean hit, right to his abdomen. To his credit, he managed to block the second hit with a sword, and the third with the other one. He attempted to counterattack by sweeping her legs, but wasn't able to. It was a mistake. She was too fast. Her fourth hit slammed into him, sending him flying across the yard and into the side of Rin's little house.

"Uggghhh..." Shirou complained, sitting up and rubbing his head. His head was ringing from the impact against the ground. "Blug. You're still that much ahead of me, huh." He commented, looking at her through blurry eyes.
