Mordred

It was weird how everyone could communicate with everyone, but that was maybe a property of the city itself. "Well, I tried to find a way out, but seems there is no way out. Sorry, but you gonna be disappointed." She shrugged. Better if the newcomer got told the brutal but honest truth already.

"You're a warrior, right? You look obviously like a one." Judging from her muscle tone, she didn't neglect working out, at very least. She got to admit, she really looked nice. "But right, you need my help. First of all, do you have any money on you? You won't get here anything without means to pay for stuff."

Her story, speaking aside, was quite interesting. Maybe she got attacked by werewolf and had some fire related abilities. Would explain the forest fire. Stuff happens. Also maybe that's why she could go around dressed like for summer in a middle of winter.

"Oh... well, I guess I'll just keep an eye out," the former slave said, softly, as she pushed the soul crushing answer to the back of her mind where it wouldn't bother her for now. "Onto other things!"

Ahh, Mordred was interested in her body too? Breeze held an arm up and flexed her muscles for a moment with a grin. "Yep! I was the best arena fighter in Ysyr. People would come from all over to see me beat grown men with weapons and armor with just my fists."

The Solar was definitely wearing enough expensive bracers and shin guards and jeweled bands for that to be believable. Plus, the choker around her neck, and the faint orange tattoos along her face.

"You've got a pretty good eye if you can spot that, though. I mean, if you're not just commenting on the muscles," Breeze pointed out to Mordred. "But ah, I don't really have any money. I mean, I wasn't the one who handled the silver back home."

That was her mistress, who was a sorcerer-princess and could have whatever she wanted as long as another sorcerer didn't contest her. Breeze just kept her safe, beat up people who tried to hurt her, and kept her company. In exchange her mistress gave her beautiful human skin, a place to live and plenty to eat and drink, let her have fun with her and her harem of demon concubines... it was great.

"That does seem odd. Maybe trying to get the food without money is part of the training...?"

"No, it's not, maybe your coach didn't have money to lend you. I'm not exactly a rich person, but okay, I will pay for the food, don't worry." Didn't handle her own money, huh? She didn't seem the sort of person to worry about money, maybe she got a manager for that. "You fought for sport? I don't recall any sports arena here, but there are always people needing a bodyguard. You won't have problem with finding a job."

Well, she liked not only her muscles. The girl looked lost, but was perceptive after all. "Well, I'm not talking only about your muscles. You look like a person who is popular with guys and girls. Maybe I will be envious, I've had bad luck so far. I went to sort of date, but the guy I hanged out turned out to be a jerk. This city is really getting on my nerves."

"Oh, wow, really? You're really nice!" Breeze said, beaming now from Mordred's kindness. "Ahh, I'll have to find some way to pay you back for this later, okay? Maybe I'll try seeing if anyone needs someone nasty beat up for them. Do people put bounties up around here?"

And, then the topic turned to guys and girls. She was only really familiar with half of that topic, and the other didn't really interest her much. The Solar laughed, sheepishly, and rubbed the back of her head. "Ah, well, a little. I don't have much experience with guys besides fighting them. I like girls, though! And yeah, some of them like me too."

They've all pretty much got something cute about them, they had all kinds of fun things they liked to do, and they knew how to talk to her nicely too! She wasn't so sure guys were like that; besides, they kinda smelled bad.

Then she frowned, just a little. "Is someone bothering you, Mordred?"

"There are enough bad guys and troublemakers who needs a good beating. I'll let you know about them if you need a job. I don't want to brag, but I got recently hired by people who try to keep the city safe. I can give you information if it's not secret." She wouldn't do the thing that this idiot Saber did. Blurt out confidential information to people uninvolved.

"Huh, you're into women? I swing both ways, but girls and guys who tried to date me beforehand were not exactly promising. And nah, I'll be fine. Maybe I'll have more luck next time. Hopefully I won't stay single, 4 years and I will reach 30..."

"Oh, like some kind of city watch! You must be pretty good at fighting, too. Maybe we could spar some time, after this?" Breeze asked, barely resisting the urge to bounce on her feet in excitement at the thought. But then there were the other things to answer.

"The embarrassing thing was, I didn't know anyone was into guys until I was 15," Breeze admitted, ducking her head as she glanced around for potential listeners. "I uh, didn't really have any examples there. And I wasn't very nice to look at til I um, grew out of that."

Then the Solar brought herself back up straight, and grinned with more confidence. "But hey, a cute girl like you could probably have anyone you wanted if you tried! I know I would definitely go out with you if you ever asked."

"Nah, I've fought a lot today, so I'm not exactly in the mood. I need some break, but okay, maybe when I have both time and need for a spar." Rare were people here who were so bold and upfront about things. That wasn't a bad quality, to be honest. "I'm your type or something? I have lots of free time today, so no reason to not try again. You look like a nice and responsible person, and we're already shopping."

At the same time, hooking up with someone she met minutes ago sounded reckless, but, she would do a lot to end her single status. "Do you want to go out with me, then?"

"My type is 'cute girls who are nice to me,' honestly," Breeze admitted to her with a shameless shrug. "Not that I won't try to help one who's mean if they're in real trouble, but for being friends and doing things nice is better."

She nodded twice, and held her hands together in front of herself like fists to pump down in excitement. It made her arm muscles flex nicely. "Definitely! Don't worry, I'll do my best to make sure we both have a great time with this!"

The Solar's face was a little red.

She was certainly enthusiastic about it. If a bit shy deep in heart, as it seemed. Why her face would flush red a little otherwise.

"I'm a knight, so if such a fine lady like you was disappointed with me, my honor would suffer. I too promise you won't get bored." Mordred said, smiling brightily, Well, she didn't know if Breeze was into courtly love, but that was one of options. "But, if you don't mind, we should first shop for what we need. Unless your trainer doesn't mind  a delay."

"Yes, I'd agree, you don't need to be so down on yoursef Rin." Archer couldn't help but shake his head again at Sakura's antics. "I came to see what you two were up to, but I guess I worried over nothing. On the other hand, it's an interesting friend you brought back Rin, she pulled out a laptop and started modding a game."

Shinobu

Medaka's hand was shaking, the blue haired girl was worried, so worried she could barely contain herself. The vampire grasped the girl's hand in order to steady it. "There is no need to worry so for me, there are few things that can put me down, in fact..." She let go of Medaka's hand as she took step back, with a sudden move the vampire ripped of her own right arm. holding her torn off arm with the one remaining, she held it up towards Medaka and poked the blue haired girl with it. "You should really stop worrying so much.

Jeanne

"Alright then...Follow me!" The saint shouted as she grabbed his hand and pulled him in the direction he had been pointing. she quickly broke into a run that would be hard for regular humans to keep up with. "Come on Shirou, get moving." She yelled back at him.

Following Shirou's descriptions through the help of his phone, they eventually arrived at a fancy looking hotel. Jeanne snuggled up against him, leaning against his shoulder as they approached the reception. "This place looks really great don't you think?"

The entrance hall had a massive crystal chandelier hanging from the roof, and the decoration in the lobby gave it a real classy feel. Jeanne nudged Shirou's arm making him stop just before they reached the reception. "I'll be happy with whatever room you pick Shirou." The saint paused for a moment and then continued with a much more uncertain tone to her voice. " Buying all that liquor for me just because I asked, I don't know how to repay you to be honest."

Shirou Emiya

Shirou whistled at the decorations in the lobby. "Wow, Jeanne, this place looks, really um, expensive..." Shirou balked a bit at the idea of renting a room just to drink some and go home.

Well, fuck it. I've already spent a bunch of money anyway, heh.

He turned to Jeanne and smiled. "Just help me protect Sakura, ok?" He asked her honestly. "That'd be the best way to repay me, Jeanne."

He walked up to the person manning the desk and took out his card. "I'd like the smalled room possible, please."

Medaka Kurokami

Medaka gazed at Shinobu with wide eyes as she ripped off her own hand, the sheer random brutality of it pulled her out of her slump.  She continued to stare blankly as the blond poked her with her severed arm. In that instant, she connected the dots from their earlier sparing match.  Her lips contorted into a smile.

"Pffft.  Hahahaha!  So those powers make you like piccolo?"  She said, playfully teasing her.

Then, her energy faded.  Her smile turned from one of temporary joy to a melancholic smile.  She moved back into Shinobu's space and gave her a hug, resting her head on her shoulders.  "Yes.  I believe you.  I suppose if nothing else, I can count on you to stay around."

"E-Eh? Do I really look like a lady?" she asked, scratching the back of her head nervously. "I mean, thank you! Um, if you don't mind me asking, what exactly is a knight...?"

Breeze didn't like admitting to her own ignorance, but she would rather not look like even more of an idiot if she got caught pretending to know what someone was talking about when she really didn't. Her mistress had berated her for that before. It wasn't fun.

"That so? I gained them as payment from a magus once, i hear they are filled with ready-made spells... But as i am not versed in their use, i have little use for them aside from some expensive explosions."

The doll nonchalantly handed over the precious stones as if utterly uninterested in them and walked towards the exit.

Oh, yeah, she was a foreigner. Maybe they didn't know the word back in her world. She could in theory bother explaining her about medieval knights, but she had her own definition of a knight.

"Knight is a person who fights for justice, helps downtrotten and shows kindness to ladies." At least that how true knights should be. "There are surely knights back where you live, maybe you just call them with a different word."
