Though dismissive, the answers did not deter the detective in the least. His mouth produced an immediate response that left no room for doubt of the seriousness emanating from his inquiries.
"Shouldn't you be concerned about the rent value going down, or at least worried for your tenants?" He asked, raising a crooked eyebrow over unamused eyes scanning them both. "Neighborhoods as peaceful as this are hard to find in Nexus City, which makes these occurrences even more worrying. It's the sort of haphazard ritualistic nonsense typical of cult-work, and those tend to end only with missing people if we're lucky. We'd rather get to the bottom of this before it happens here."
Henry crossed his arms with a sigh, expectantly. "Anything at all would be helpful."
Butler
Shortly after concluding that Suzuko was fine alone with this person, the loyal servant excused himself, and where to if not to see to the other guest while his employer was busy. The girl did not seem suspicious, and yet she was on edge, and he scarcely relished the thought of leaving someone he was unsure of unattended.
After a moment, he strode out of the kitchen, though he never seemed to have walked past her to get there, carrying a tray and a refreshment. With a soft clink he set down the glass of chilled tea, before bowing slightly.
"I apologize if my face has unnerved you. I get that quite frequently, but still I tend to forget. Please, be at ease."
