"Heh, don't underestimate me! I can teach you a thing or two for sure, Sakura~." Breeze winked, excited now for more than just the idea of seeing her all sweaty. No, she really would like to fight her! Her own skills would improve, and she'd definitely make sure Sakura didn't underestimate her anymore.

"Oh, okay." Paladin was probably too principled for his own good. A white lie was a white lie after, sometimes such minor dishonesty made life more convenient. As chewed the food that Paladin made, she again got urge to talk.

"Do you have a dream, Paladin? I realized that I don't have one. I feel that me following Oka back then was as if I wanted to warm myself by the blazing inferno that was her dream and passion. I cannot say that following others like I've done so far is something that can be called an ideal. Maybe I should take initiative and find something that resonates with me on my own. Well, dealing with those peculiar creatures is fun, I just want find something else as well." The mage talked about what she had on my mind. Seemed like sticking around with such a passionate person like Oka rubbed on her a bit. That girl knew what she wanted out of her life.

Mason shuttered as the thing known as Lorenzo hit him in the back.  "Ok...." he said meekly before suddenly perking up.  He looked at Hazel, then back at Lorenzo before he said,  "Umm so you are now bound by a magical contract, with the boss as master and you as the servant.  The contract lets you keep your free will, but you can be called back using a magical signal that the boss can use.  Also, the boss can use her own magic to restrict yours if you get out of hand."

Hazel simply stared at the skeleton, as if he had transformed into something completely different.  After a moment or two, she scoffed.  "For the record, just because you let us form the contract doesn't mean ill let you get away with that lip you gave me earlier," she said, placing a hand on her hip.

Lorenzo

"Yeah sure whatever you say baby." He said with about as much care as you can possibly have, by that I mean not one bit before burping. Then, he wrapped his arm around the kid and dragged him away to the closest strip club he'd find eventually. Ain't no snotty lady brat going to stop him, nuh huh.

"Umm Mason..." the boy said, following Lorenzo as he got caught up at his pace.  "And I have to release the barrier first...."

Hazel let her hand drop to her waist.  There was no point in threatening the man, not after she saw that vision.  She would have to try something different to get him to fall in line.  As she followed that train of thought, she broke into a mischievous smile  "You know, if your going to take the boy to hit on girls, why don't I come with you?"she asked, speed walking towards the two.  Its better to have a female wing man anyway."

"Calm down I can't understand a word you're saying." He released her after seeing her struggle in futility for a few moments. "What exactly did you capture? You look really tired." He regarded her with a worried look, she didn't usually look like she had run marathon when coming back after all.

Sakura suddenly rushed forward and grabbed Breeze in a single swift and smooth motion, slamming the tan girl into the ground and pinning her easily with her iron strength. "Can you get out of this, then?" Sakura asked with a smirk.

Oka stopped speaking and took a deep breath to calm herself down. "Hehehe, how could I relax right now? I just caught a legendary pokemon, one of those super rare and powerful one of a kind pokemon." She explained again. "I caught Regice, a large ice golem that controls the powers of ice and is super tanky. Not even Wormy was able to meaningfully damage him." She elaborated, a big triumphant smile on her face. "Do you want to see it?" She asked, her heat beating rapidly in her chest. She was really excited to show off her new prize to Jin.

The blond Servant held one of her hands to her mouth but couldn't hold back the high pitched giggle from escaping her lips. "Did you just.... Did you just compare me to a musclebound orc?"

She took a deep breathe and centered herself, finally getting the laughter under control. Brutae then moved forward in a threatening way, only to flick his forehead. "What kind of silly line was that even. It made me laugh however so I guessing you'd make a good jester." She said jokingly. This was turning out much better than she'd expected.

She tapped her chin with a finger. "Other than you digestive system punishing you for shoving all of that extra food inside? Not too much, I suppose. Although after you spend a long enough time without eating it can be a bit strange getting back into it again."

The knight stopped for a moment. Almost as if he was confused about what she had just said. Then Paladin burst into laughter at the idea. "Oh-- no, no, my order functionally has a vow of celibacy. The extra clothes in there are primarily for people such as yourself. People who need rest or some small amount of shelter."


Suzuko

"Oh, I'm sure you'll spoil her at first. Parents almost always do that. I'm sure that I've spoiled my son a bit rotten all things considered. If there's any advice that I can give it's that you need to teach your child how to pursue happiness. Just providing it rots the fruit. It makes them entitled, and it makes it harder for them to really be happy later in life."

She clapped her hands together and her look became more serious. "You have to teach your kids on how to be happy first. Virtue without joy won't ever last. Teaching them the art of finding their own happiness will last forever. More importantly, it gives them an anchor. Something to remember why they do what they do and live the lives that they live. There can't be any goodness, any virtue, without joy. At least not any that matters."

"That doesn't make me feel any more confident in my abilites, hehe." She said. The laugh was nervous and troubled, with a tone to match. She scrunched her face with worry and frowned, the thought of being a bad mom troubling her deeply.

Suzuko frowned for a moment. Then she stood up and placed a hand on the other woman's shoulder, firm and comforting at once. "There aren't many people who are. But you have to be confident in yourself. As long as you make sure that you're listening to your kid and the people around you you'll do as well as anyone can."

"Ah, I see. That's a fine dream. Not even small and simple considering what danger you're willing to face. Would it help you fill the journal if you could see more of my magic? You were interested in owning an appropriate animal, so maybe I could try to summon an ice familiar. If I find a grimoire or a scroll containing a ritual, that is." There was a slim chance that there was a book or scroll somewhere that could help. After all, not only people randomly ended up here.

Then Marcus being pretty okay with this turn of events.
