"I am of the understanding that you are in need of funding and supplies, Homunculus. Tell me, why should I give them to you?"

The Golden King paused, his sharp, crimson eyes noting the happenings of what occurred on the city streets.

"Convince me that your cause is important enough to warrant such a thing."

Fate did not let the way he was adressed bother him. He had predicted to hear such straightforward self-importance from the CEO of Golden Rule. Or more accurately, he had grown to expect it after just the few interactions they had had until that point. Regardless, that stance was in the King Of Heroes's full right. It was not arrogance, but fully founded awareness of his own supremacy.

He would know, having bore witness to the massive duel between Gilgamesh and Karna.

"I require your aid to develop the technology that will give my men the edge they need to stand against the supernatural denizens of this city. Not as a bother or a damage control net, but a force capable of imposing order and balance on the run-down strenches of this city." Fate explained.

Lightly tapping his fingers on his desk once, the mage continued.

"I understand that there are those in Nexus City foolish enough to incur your displeasure. Inane trash that does not know its place, scum that dares make claims of this city as their own. Individuals like Deacon Frost arrogantly extend their control over the underworld, and disturb the status that should exist according to your will. Their unworthiness stains your domain, and opposes the stability I desire for this city and its citizens."

Fate paused for only a moment at this time, long enough to allow his point to be considered, but not so long that it would push the king's patience.

"If you answered my request, I would be pleased to begin dealing with this issue, and more than willing to begin an advantaged permanent partnership with Golden Rule. This would be to the benefit of the both of us, and eliminate any need to deign yourself to punish the troublesome elements I mentioned." he said.

Fate concluded his speech by asking for Gilgamesh's confirmation.

"Would this arrangement, details pending, be to your liking?"

[Elf]

"What... what happened to me?"

Ash mentally flinched but kept her composure.  Her mind was racing, part trying to figure out what to do here and What the bloody fuck was I thinking?

She had turned someone.  She didn't have the strict anti-siring stance her mentor had, but it wasn't something she was itching to go out and do.  She wasn't one of those whiny, eternally lonely types who could only fill a void within themselves by making other vampires.  Ash could find companionship whenever she wanted, and had those she readily considered family.

As a vampire, she was very content with her existence.

Until some wanker she had her eye on to eat had decided to stab an innocent girl just because he could.  Thing of it was, the girl didn't want to die.  The child wanted revenge and to make sure what happened to her didn't happen to others.  Plus Ash had been after the wanker who stabbed her, so she felt responsible.

Without knowing first aid, again, Fore's schtick, Ash did the one thing she could think of: blood transfusion into a vampire.

Just now she had a fledgling who didn't know shit from a shingle, and Ash wasn't the most patient person in Nexus City.

The auburn-haired vampire clasped her hands together and answered, "You're at my flat, you're a vampire now, and I'm your Sire.  Also, those voices in your head are quite normal.  Its your telepathy starting to go to work."

Forest blinked as the spell obscuring the girl's face lifted, leaving a rather young girl looking at them.  Said young girl went to her knees, in tears, and begged them not to kill her.

She's just a child, she thought, realizing that someone had given her all of those nifty skills and probably spun some story to make her more compliant.  Sodding wankers.

Automatically, Forest knelt down beside the girl and started to stroke her hair.  "Hush poppet, don't worry, no one's going to kill you.  Especially if you stop trying to kill them."

"Sorry about the spaghetti," the fairly good looking man who had the sense to put the bombs in the trash, even though it had covered pretty much all of them with it, "The name's Henry."

Forest sighed, shook her head, and said, "It could have been worse.  I'm Forest."

"Good evening. To whom do I owe the pleasure?"

She had some accent he hadn't quite heard before; it sounded light and pleasant.  It was a sweet voice but eager.  She's polite but forward, Gabriel noticed with a smile before bowing his head.

He replied, "I am Gabriel Umbra, since I have given you the pleasure of my name, would you be so kind to return the favor?"

"Well, while we wait for Jojo over there to wake up, I am sure you have some questions you would like answered."

Minato takes a sip of his tea.

"I would be happy to answer a few questions while we wait."

[Kat]

"What... what happened to me?"

She turned her head, hearing the voice of the woman who turned. She vaguely recalled her face. So it was not a dream...

'You are not joking right? It sounds like stuff from movies." she replied, inclined to disbelieve the woman, but not being sure it was all dream. She reached for the place where she was stabbed, just to confirm it "I remember I was stabbed. There is no wound anymore..." Now less skeptical, she stood up scratching her and asked:

"Then, does it mean I really have to drink blood and live without sunlight?"
"

"All right then, Tokiomi, Jojo;"

Minato pulled another traesto gem out of his inventory.

"You may feel somewhat disoriented for a few minutes, spacial transference tends to do that the first time; Ah by the way Jojo my name is Arisato Minato."

Minato held the jewel in the air, the last thing the other two heard before the pale green light took them away was,

"I'll have tea ready when you recover."

He was telling the truth, when they recovered five minutes later in the lobby of a somewhat old western style dorm, he was seated nearby with freshly steeped tea waiting for them both.

This was a freaky experience. The boy called Minato reached for something resembling a gem, and poof, JoJo reassembled somewhere else. The tea was ready.

"Oh boy, that was hell of a trip. Is it similar to what Professor Walentynowicz can do? He can manipulate dimensions to an extent through his Stand" he noted.

[Knick]

"I would be happy to answer a few questions while we wait."

‘It is a trick? Would he really answer my questions? Or is he baiting me.’ Tokiomi contemplated this for a moment, ‘Might as well ask, with what he seems to be capable of if he wanted me dead I don’t have a chance anyway.’

“Hmm, I am rather curious what you did to take us here. It seemed like gemcraft but the amount of energy for spatial displacement of that level would incredibly large.” Tokiomi took another sip of his tea and waited for Minato to answer. 

"Oh boy, that was hell of a trip. Is it similar to what Professor Walentynowicz can do? He can manipulate dimensions to an extent through his Stand" he noted.

Looking over he saw Jojo lift himself off the ground. "Seems our friend has also woken up."

[Umbra of Chaos]

“There appears to be a group of people surrounded by werewolf corpses, a man with a golden armor and flaming cape seems to be roaming the town... oh a man with an odd spiritual presence just killed a man, near the Tokyo Tower."

Opening his eyes again, “any of those interest to you?”

"Ah, murder. There are few better ways to entertain yourself. Well, we should get there before he leaves. Rend." Grigori lifted her finger and pulled it down. Then the air screamed, and reality tore. A few more seconds and the tear in the world was complete, and on the other side another tear began to form near a large tower and over an alley with a man holding a gun standing over a dead one. Grigori began to walk through. "Are you coming, Zolgen?"

[Mooncake]

"Hush poppet, don't worry, no one's going to kill you.  Especially if you stop trying to kill them."

"Yes, they will. I will. Kill her, that is. Stand still."

The resident, who had slowly been advancing, drew back one hand that curled into a dangerous looking claw. Even though red energy could no longer be seen crackling around his body, painful-looking spasms still wracked his form. His golden eyes were narrowed at the girl curled into a crying ball on the ground, slit pupils staring straight at her unmasked features.

"Attacking invites retribution. You should know this," The resident paused, and lowered his hand for a moment. "Why did you attack me, girl?"

The resident ignored the man who had announced his name. Any human that he did not have to interact with was unimportant, though he understood that the black-haired man was named 'Henry'. He paid no mind to the spaghetti, because it had served no harmful purpose.

"It could have been worse.  I'm Forest."

The resident eyed the pale woman.

"Impossible. You lack the natural elements to be a forest. Unless that is your name. It is a silly name. Why would you name yourself after a collection of trees? You are not a tree."

The resident paused again and examined her very closely, giving her a scrutinizing gaze that felt rather awkward.

"Are you?"

[Brahmastra]

He replied, "I am Gabriel Umbra, since I have given you the pleasure of my name, would you be so kind to return the favor?"

"I am La Folia Rihavein, eldest princess of the Kingdom of Aldeigia. It is a great pleasure to meet you, Gabriel" Pinching the edges of her skirt, La Folia bowed her head slightly in a mild curtsy.

"What's keeping you out at this hour?"

In truth, La Folia had a sneaking suspicion that it had to do with the bottle of scotch in one of his flawless hands, the kind of drink she wasn't entirely unfamiliar with herself. In her home country, the drinking age laid at a measly 16, and as such she had gotten "smashed", as the girls called it, a handful of times in her short life of 17 years already.

Truly she would not mind if he invited her to join him. Or that he merely took her on the spot. To her horny mind, both worked out just fine right now.

[Knick]

‘What the…’ Zolgen observed in shock as “god” simply ripped a hole in space, ‘well that definitely backs up her claim of godhood, my what surprises I am getting today.’

"Are you coming, Zolgen?"

“Ah of course, must say though, very impressive, would even say on the level of true magic.” Zolgen replied

‘Can only wonder what an experience such as this would be like’ As he followed Grigori though the rift

Law stood dumb founded as someone walked through a hole like an Avernian gate that had suddenly appeared smack dab in front of him.

An audience for our revenge. Are you just going to stand there like some deer in the headlights, or tell them to fuck off back where they came from.

'I was thinking we'd run away. I've got nothing against someone who can rip holes in reality.'

[Elf]

Forest stood up, putting herself between the redhead and the girl.  She intentionally rose to her full height so she could look down on the redhead.  His scent was odd; like a Fae's but not.  She suddenly wished Gabriel was here to figure what the hell this newcomer was.

"No one's killing anyone right here.  This was obviously a sodding misunderstanding," she said, her hand going for her gun just in case. 

He lowered his claw when he asked the girl why she attacked him before turning back on her, criticizing her name.

Forest shrugged and answered, "I'm pagan and it's masculine.  It's just a name after all."  She wasn't going to let him know that it wasn't her real one.

Ash nodded and answered, "And avoiding silver, fire, stakes to the heart, and garlic.  Oh, holy items with faith behind them too, but that's pretty much the short version of it."

Royalty, Gabriel thought to himself, his eyes darkening ever so slightly as his skin decided to glow.  A virgin princess was all but offering herself to him.  One night could ruin a kingdom.  The part of him that craved chaos reveled at this bit of news. 

The part of him that came from his incubus blood was tempted to reach his hand under that short skirt and . . .

He glowed a bit more before reigning himself in. Instead he smiled at her question while the glow faded.  He answered, "Getting a bit of a night cap.  I'm a bit nocturnal in nature.  So, Your Highness, what has you out and alone at this hour?"

[Kat]

Ash nodded and answered, "And avoiding silver, fire, stakes to the heart, and garlic.  Oh, holy items with faith behind them too, but that's pretty much the short version of it."

Ellen

"Eh... It looks like from now on I can't show up without making people suspicious, if that's true'' she sighed, resigned. ''But thanks, it's better than dying there''

Ellen got hungrier though with every minute though. She hadn't had a 'drink' yet. ''Ughh, this thirst... Don't say I have to drink human blood?'' She felt such thing would be wrong.

Geralt

In No Man's land

A quick blow of his Arondight felled a werewolf. Poor thing was too feral to be saved, so Geralt, even though he pitied werecreatures, had to put it down. He used to have an acquittance who was a werewolf back in his previous world so he was aware such beings had capacity to be like humans, or even more human than them.

''Foul weather...'' he cursed, as it started heavily, washing down blood dripping from his blade.

He ended up in Nexus City, chasing after the Wild Hunt who kidnapped his beloved Yennefer. Unfortunately, he was tricked to end up here, a place where it is difficult for anyone to leave. He resumed his profession as a witcher, as this world was full of monsters. Human or not. He hoped to find a way out of here, possibly one which could make up for the time spent here.

[Knick]

"Want some chocolate?" he asked the bundled mass of armor on the floor.

“H-huh” She looked up at the man offering her a chocolate bar.

‘why is he…’ She thought as confusion flooded her mind

Only to have it increase as the woman started to talk kindly and softly

 

"Hush poppet, don't worry, no one's going to kill you.  Especially if you stop trying to kill them."

She flinched when the woman’s fingers touched her hair, scrambling away.

‘I-it’s a trick, it has to be a trick. They are going to kill me, their deluded, they want to protect the evil, have to get away’ Only to freeze as the evil spoke.

"Yes, they will. I will. Kill her, that is. Stand still."

Her eyes dilated, panic seeping in even more then it has already.

She looked at the evil walking towards them he breathing increasing as her chance for survival decreased less and less with each step.

Death, that’s what he was, death itself coming for her.

"Attacking invites retribution. You should know this," The resident paused, and lowered his hand for a moment. "Why did you attack me, girl?"

‘What.’ She stopped in her thoughts.

Looking at the man as he turned to the woman and spoke to her. ‘Why aren't I dead, why is he asking me why I attacked, he is evil he need to be hunted, he will cause only suffering. So why…’

She looked at the man confusion clear in her eyes before taking a breath, ‘If I am going to die, I will at least have pride in my mission, in the purpose of my life.’ With her decision made she spoke.

“Because” with her voice trembling she recited the pledge she took. “Magic is sin, magic is cruel, so we shall become the hunters all those who hold sin Dread. To be hope for those who have no sin, monsters will become those who hunt their old kind. We are those Hunters, forever hidden, and forever hungry to consume evil.”  With her body shaking in fear she raised her sword towards blocking out everything else but the evil in front of her and her mission, “I will not die here, if I do the evil will not be stopped.”

She remembered all her lessons, the things she was told and taught. The antimagic wave began to spark off her body, and with a voice both filled deep with conviction and fear she spoke once more, “I will not die, because I shall consume the evil.”

There was no choice in the end, Amelia exists to hunt evil, nothing else have ever even been an option.

[Brahmastra]

He glowed a bit more before reigning himself in. Instead he smiled at her question while the glow faded.  He answered, "Getting a bit of a night cap.  I'm a bit nocturnal in nature.  So, Your Highness, what has you out and alone at this hour?"

"Well, I had no form of... entertainment available back at my hotel room, so I was going out to experience the city's night life, when I stumbled across you", giving clear implication to the gorgeous man that she wanted to spend time with him, but not outright admitting that she'd probably jump him where he stood. She could feel that she was easily that horny.

"And please, I'd much prefer La Folia. 'Your Highness' sounds so impersonal", desiring for Gabriel to say her name once more.

[Elf]

Forest eyed the girl and her conviction.  Yeah, obviously brain washed, she thought with a sigh.  Then she pulled out her gun and shot the ground.  However the deafening sound and the foot of fire erupting from the barrel would catch someone's attention.  Not to mention the giant crater in the pavement as well.

She said, "Alright, first off, magic's like my gun here.  It's a tool.  A weapon that can be used for good or evil.  It's the wielders that are the problem, not the magic itself, but not all magic users are bad."

And if you don't stop this, I will stop you, Forest sent to her, her voice firm like an annoyed schoolmistress.

Ash shrugged and said, "Drinking blood isn't that bad, but you have to take it from the living.  No Friendly Neighborhood Bloodbanks for you.  However, it's pretty easy to get a bite when you get the hang of it."

"Right now though, we might have to pay for it."

Gabriel smiled at La Folia's forwardness and her sheer need.  He moved closer to her with a smirk and said, "La Folia, since you have given me the right to your name, please call me Gabriel."

He had a feeling that he could have pressed her to the car and fingered her right then and there, and she wouldn't have protested.  He wanted to, to have the people hear her cries of bliss as he brought her to completion.  He could feel that she needed it and would be distracted, if pleasantly so, if he didn't.

However, his Godmother's face flashed through his mind for a moment.  So he leaned forward and said, "I know what entertainment you seek, La Folia, and I'll be more than happy to provide it.  I do want to warn you though, these ears aren't for show."  Then to accent his words, he began to glow, seeing if she'd stay or bolt.
