"Thank you," Forest said as she shook off more sauce and old noodles.

I might have to take a quick shower.  The garlic in this is starting to make me itch, she thought with a grimace.

"Hopefully I won't be too long," she said with a sigh before heading to see who was wrapping at her chamber door.  She got to the main floor, opened the door and looked up.  Normally she didn't have to look up to make eye contact, but the person darkening her doorstep was over half a foot taller than her.

"Hello, may I help you?" she asked, staring up.

Dan wasn't quite sure what to make of the young woman who'd opened the door - though how old she was, was beyond his knowledge. She carried herself far far older than someone that age should. The alchemist had spent enough time around magicians to know that appearances, especially age, could be quite deceiving. There were always little little tells though, and he'd picked up on them quickly enough. The fact that the little element of the wolf that was bleeding through in this moonlight was growling at her like another predator though, was a dead give away. "The Law Unto Itself I presume?" Dan said, stashing his flask of potion back into it's proper coat pocket. The burning in his throat was going away. He'd bought himself another 20 minutes at least. "I've heard you're willing to help anyone who needs it, with whatever they need. And I need a rather large favor, and I need it fast."

Then something large, big, and screeching dropped down behind him and all attempts at composure Dan had went out the window, as a red light bathed him in its glow "And what the ever-loving name of Jesus Fucking Christ is THAT."

Shiro took the card with a smile, "Thank you, I will keep it in mind."

"So," The businessman began again. "...We should leave you in peace for tonight, Mister Shiro. Again, we are glad to meet you. Have a good night, until we meet again." He then bowed and scraped before him. Yukina bowed down at the same time as Rattus did.

The two then began to walk away from him, towards their car.

"Let the judgment of the heavens fall."

An enormous bolt of lightning fell from the sky aimed at Karna, and the sound of thunder was loud enough to shatter eardrums. It was weaker then the beam, but it was still extremely powerful. Grigori just managed to grin before the lance bisected her, and her top half fell to the ground.

Unfortunately for Karna, this time there was no moving out of the way in time. He had dealt with lightning of this level before, his little brother having an ability to manipulate the same way he could fire, and this time he had his armor to deal with it, but the inevitability of it all was slightly nagging to him.

The lightning hit him full on, and though he should've been reduced to ashes, that was not the case. Gritting his teeth and steeling his resolve, Karna took the damage of the lightning without fail, thrown to the ground but otherwise mostly unscathed.

Not even seconds later, he was on his feet and running to the Magus's legless top half, 4 arrows on his bow, aimed directly towards her face.

"I am afraid that your fun ends here, Magus."

Only in the last few parts of a second before the impact did Karna hear the Phoenix dive into the pavement close to them, using his fire as wings to quickly get away, narrowly getting out of the impact zone in time, the shockwave slightly mangling his flight.

The bird of the sun with the frustrating mindset was clear in it's intent of not letting this go on, so there was little to do but to leave now.

Flying in the same direction his protectorates had escaped, Karna cowardly fled the field, tired of the bird's antics.

His eyes quickly found the building where he could see the metal bird and the blonde vampire arguing with another stranger, and his body followed his gaze, flying at rapid speeds toward the entrance.

With a crashing sound, Karna landed on the ground near the door in a low stance, his suit still flawless despite the dust that was now in the air.

Gabriel smirked as he pulled a couple of tissues from his nightstand and leaned over to gently wipe off La Folia's face.

"She's not mad at you.  She probably thinks I took advantage of you and . . . " He frowned as he wiped the pearly, white liquid from her face.

"Something else is bothering her."

"I... see. I do hope I didn't leave the worst impression" Spoke La Folia in a quiet tone as Gabriel cleaned off her face.

"Not that this is in any way related, but do you want to go wash up?" Now with her visage free of his seed, she expressed her desire to find the nearest shower or bath, possibly not just for the purposes of cleaning herself.

"Errrm..."

Go on and tell her

'DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW AWKWARD IT IS TO EXPLAIN THIS!?'

Just do it you fucking pussy.

"...You know what, fuck it, it doesn't matter." Law found a cashier and purchased the clothing, leaving the PS3 behind for the moment. Honestly, he'd need cash for other, more important things. Like food. And fixing his car. No matter how much Mordred would grumble about leaving that behind, it just wasn't worth it for him.

Pussy.

'Shut up. It's not like this'll matter, or she's wearing a skirt.'

You're still a pussy.

With that Law started to browse through the food court, settling on getting both Mordred and himself a couple slices of pizza to go. It wasn't much but Law was starting to feel the crash coming on from staying up for the last few days. He felt like utter and total shit, and without question he was going to after this immediately go and find some cheap as shit motel to crash in. Never mind that he had a few thousand in spending money, from the wallets of a few of his killers (Turns out drug pushers do carry a lot of dough), he wasn't going to waste it on something he didn't need at the moment.

Handing Mordred the paper plate with her slice on it he started munching on his.

Mordred did indeed grumble about Law leaving the PS3 behind. Munching slowly away on the slice of pizza and glaring at Law with a frown on her face, she asked an uncomfortable question: "Don't tell me you are like a hedge knight with little gold and no estate. Honestly, when I saw that metallic vehicle of yours I thought you are much more well off than that." She thought the armor was at least more expensive than plate armor, and in her age such protective gear did not come cheap. "Hey, Law, do people hire sellswords here? Even if I'm a knight, going around without money is much worse. You're my Master, however, so I won't work for people you don't approve of."

It took Law a little while to realize exactly what Mordred had said.

"...I think that's exactly what I'm like. And no, I'm not going mercenary any time soon for cash." Lawrence said, continuing to finish off his slice of pizza. "I have a decent amount, it's just I need to save it, alright? Nothing I don't need at the moment. I need to fix the car, find a place to stay, and probably also buy you ice cream or whatever crazy thing you want to order on room service." Standing up from the table, Law shrugged the bag over his shoulder. "Come on. Let's get going back to the car. Sleep is important, and I've gone without far too long."

Ash lead the way into No-Man's Land, heading for a building that had an unusual rune etched in neon light on it.  Trance music poured out of the squat, industrial bulding as patrons entered and exited.  Flashing white-blue lights could be seen though the black painted windows.

"Come on.  Stay close to me, don't make eye contact unless someone makes it with you and don't be the first to look away," Ash said as she strode over to the door and the massive vampire bouncer letting people in.

Ellen felt both lost and confused, if not outright out of place. She was a social person, but she was not really the kind of person who visited night clubs. She moved alongside Ash, her silence indicating her obeyance.

"Being more ambitious won't harm you" Mordred snarked. "Speaking of sleep, I don't really need it to function, so I will switch to spirit form and just stand on guard." She was a spirit after all, so she did not function like flesh and blood beings.

Amelia was in darkness, having been put unconscious by the telepathic command.

As time passed however her mind adapted to the foreign experience, having built slight defenses against it, and so she moved from a forced sleep to a more natural one, and with it she began to dream.

She dreamed of what she could have had, if the magus had not used her parents in experiments. She dreamed of what she could have become should she had not been saved.

She dreamed of a world without magic, free from evil and suffering. And she also dreamed about a world that magic ran rampant, filled with evil and destruction.

Every dream accompanied by a nightmare, each dream to reaffirm her mission, just how it was made by her conditioning. And yet she slept at ease, so incredibly use to this, mumbling to herself as the coiled up into a ball.

And so Amelia slept.

Minato sighed inwardly as he walked towards the edge of what was considered his territory in the city. His territory being the ten kilometer radius surrounding the dorm's original location in the nexus. The reason why he was out for a second time that night was because some vampire gang had figured out how to get around his guard dog, and had begun harassing the locals.

Here I was thinking we were going to have some fun.

You may get your chance, there is no guarantee they're weak.

Please, if they had to use tricks to get past it, there is no real threat.

Maybe.

As Minato continued walking he spotted a young pink haired girl walking the deserted streets alone, walking up to her he said,

"Hey, it's dangerous to be out right now."

Mille and Rin
Quote from: Tokiomi
"Tohsaka... Rin?" He muttered as he lowered his hand letting the spell disperse harmlessly. His face was as stone, having a poker face as good as Rin's.
Rin watched his reaction carefully. His brief moment of hesitation and his muttering wasn't much to go on, but she kept her attention on him regardless.

Quote from: Tokiomi
“Wait. Did you say you investigating a dimensional rift?” He looked at them shocked for a moment before sighing and face-palming, letting his poker face fall at the complete annoyance of his own failed experiment. “Did I really screw it up that badly that it is affecting other dimensions?” He muttered into his hand.

"Wait, so it was-"

Rin put a hand on Mille's shoulder, cutting her off before she could complete her sentence. She kneeled down a bit and faced the shorter magus, now with both hands on her shoulders.

"It's possible he opened the rift we went through, but we don't know that for sure," Rin whispered. "Plus if my suspicions are right, this whole dimension may well be a hotbed for interdimensional activity. I don't have much to go on yet on that, but let's actually investigate this before we jump to conclusions."

Mille opened her mouth as if to speak, but then firmly shut it again and simply nodded. Rin straightened herself up and turned back to oddly familiar young man.

"We did sir. We don't have any confirmation on the cause as of yet, and it could be a number of things. Your workshop was simply the first lead we followed, being the closest source of magic to where we initially came in, so I wouldn't be entirely concerned just yet. After all, the information the Association has on both this world and the rift we came through at this time is rather limited. We just need to investigate further."

Quote from: Tokiomi
“Well I suppose I should introduce myself as well. I am Tokiomi. It is a pleasure to meet mages from the association.” He bowed with grace and elegance. “Especially such lovely ladies as you two”.
Mille's cheeks lit up again, as she made a somewhat strained bow in turn "W-well, even if you may be the cause of the rifts, I-I suppose it's a pleasure to meet you as well. T-though it's interesting that you would refer to someone that may well be your sister as 'lovely." She turned to Rin, to see her reaction. "Tohsaka?"

Rin stood there, unmoving. Not even her pokerface could save her now. The color had drained from her face. Her voice was caught in her throat. What could she say? Her suspicions were confirmed, but... well, what could she say?

"Tohsaka? Tohsaka, you look like you've seen a ghost, snap out of it already!"

"In a way, I have," said Rin softly.

Mille shot Tokiomi an apologetic glance. "Sorry, she isn't normally like this." With hardly a moment of hesitation, she turned and pinched Rin's arm.

Rin winced, blinking as she came back to her senses. Quickly, she struggled to put her poker face back on, and gave Tokiomi a graceful and polite curtsy. "A-a pleasure to meet you as well, sir." Or should I say, a pleasure to meet you again, Father. She looked straight into his eyes. "Forgive me for being impertinent, but... would I be correct in saying that your last name is Tohsaka as well?"

Tom
This city... it is one filled with a number of peculiarities, though so rare is it that they are a thing of beauty. It is a shame that it was so fleeting, but that appears to be a common theme within this wretched place.
The tall man looked up to where the beautiful, fiery feathers had once fallen, where now only the stars that hardly dared peek their way around the clouds and bits of smog remained. He had not bothered to disturb them, simply followed them to the west. And now here he was, not entirely sure why he was still bothering to stay. Perhaps it was the sounds of talking and fighting and the bright, red light that had piqued his interest.

Perhaps I will never know. Yet another peculiarity of this place, a large, mechanical bird with the mind of a man. A shame that this is not quite so beautiful.

Should he leave, to find another curiosity? Should he follow, as the man as tall as he might be intriguing on his own merits, as he had attracted the great metal bird's attention? For now, he did not know. For now, he simply waited and watched, as for now, there was no urgency.

Besides running the forum, I can provide avatars for people as well~

Forest blinked at the flash of red light as they were suddenly bathed in it.  Eddie screeched, a sound that was oddly beautiful and frightening all it once.  The vampiress felt it in her core and gritted her teeth against it as the Iron Bird Man landed behind her "visitor".

Even covered in the scents of cheese, tomato, and garlic, which was really making her itch, she smelled wolf.  It wasn't the wet fur and semen smell she was used to for the werewolves of her home dimension.  The fact that he was asking for her help was enough to make her pause.

She held up her hand to Eddie and shouted, "No, Eddie!  He need's my help, like you did.  It's okay, Eddie."  Then she walked past the super tall werewolf and to the steampunk chimera.  She reached out her hand to him with the hope that he'd back away.

In a voice she knew the werewolf would hear, she whispered, "Smile and hold up your hands, look as non-threatening as possible."

Then he showed up.  Henry and her impromptu rescuer with the white hair and the unnerving aura.  So that means he won, she thought as he approached.  She called out to him, "Is she dead?  Hopefully in little tiny pieces and they'll need a sponge to clean her up?"

******

Ash walked up to the burly, vampire bouncer who's eyes lit up at the sight of her.  He parted away, opening the door for her with a little smirk.  His eyes looked Ellen over as Ash ushered her into the club.

Ash looked at Ellen and whispered, "He's got a little cock."

******

Gabriel smirked at La Folia's question and said, "I might have a washroom to myself . . ."

Songbird was about to turn the intruder into paste when Forest spoke up:

"No, Eddie!  He need's my help, like you did.  It's okay, Eddie."

Songbird immediately stopped mid-strike. Reeling his left arm back, he cocking his head to the left. Red eyes shifted to yellow as he hesitantly started to flap his wings, intending to go back to the roof.

Then there was a thud and a cloud of dust. Eyes shifted back to red as Songbird landed himself and readied himself in a combat stance yet. The White-Head came! He seemed rather amicable towards Forest before, but that doesn't mean he is a threat now.

As Karna pulled back the arrows Grigori readied herself, and sharp shards of ice formed behind her. Then the Phoenix slammed into the ground like a meteor and her opponent fled.

"That was fun! I haven't been pushed that far in ages!."

Then she turned around to look at the man that had praised the battle and his entourage. A burst of green curative mana covered her and her bottom half was regenerated. Then a blob of darkness arose from her shadow and formed into a dress that covered her half naked body.

"Greetings, I am Grigori. What are your names?"

He watched as Rin interrupted Mille, putting her hand on her shoulders she turn to her and whispered. Sadly, it was quiet enough that he could only make out a few words, but it was enough to assume it was something about their investigation.

Quote from: Mille
Mille's cheeks lit up again, as she made a somewhat strained bow in turn "W-well, even if you may be the cause of the rifts, I-I suppose it's a pleasure to meet you as well. T-though it's interesting that you would refer to someone that may well be your sister as 'lovely."

Tokiomi chuckled at her reaction and smiled warmly. “Why would I not say such a thing? It is only proper to speak the truth. Especially such an obvious one, I would assume you hear something similar all the time.”  It was only polite, however it also served the purpose of knocking her off her game a bit more. It would be difficult to deal with them both should the worst occur.

He then more closely observed Rin's reaction to his name. It seemed somewhat... extreme.

Quote from: Rin
"A-a pleasure to meet you as well, sir." She looked straight into his eyes.

"Forgive me for being impertinent, but... would I be correct in saying that your last name is Tohsaka as well?"

Tokiomi chuckled lightly, “And here I was trying to cause as little confusion as possible by leaving out my family name. Yes, I am a member of the Tohsaka family.”

He looks at Rin with a smile, “So I assume so variant of me exists in your world seeing how you are familiar with my name?” It was a simple conclusion to make, her familiarity with his name and her reacting the way she did. However, ‘In a way, I have’ as an answer to Mille commenting on how she looked like she saw a ghost; does that mean he is dead in her world? That is rather disconcerting, but it would explain the reaction she had to his name.

Shaking his head slightly, he cleared his thoughts and focused on the matter at hand. “No, not the time. I appologize, I let my idle curiosity overtake me for a moment.”

He walked over to a desk with littered with papers and gem fragments. He placed his hand on the desk and the Tohsaka family crest sprung to life, unlocking a drawer. Opening it he pulled out a construct that could arguably be called sword made of gems and placed it softly on the desk. It glowed multiple colors but there where obvious irregularities in the structure.

“Since you are a member of the Tohsaka, assuming our worlds do not vary that greatly, you should recognize this correct? The project left behind by the great master, I attempted to replicate it and failed. Perhaps this is what caused your dimensional rift?”

"...I think that's exactly what I'm like. And no, I'm not going mercenary any time soon for cash." Lawrence said, continuing to finish off his slice of pizza. Standing up from the table, Law shrugged the bag over his shoulder. "Come on. Let's get going back to the car. Sleep is important, and I've gone without far too long."

"Wait."

That single word was spoken with absolute authority. The weight of that word could be felt by every person within the area of the food court, and as the white giant slowly walked forwards, they stared in disbelief. Standing well over six feet tall, the massive warrior with bone-white armor was truly a sight that drew attention. What was stranger still, however, was what he was carrying. In one large hand he held an entire car door, colored a bright red, as he walked towards Law.

Hakumen strode calmly towards law, his slow pace belaying the amount of ground due to his height. It seemed like he was ignoring the blonde girl at the side of Law, though an experienced fighter would note that the white giant had taken note of her and was measuring against her much more so than the Sin-Eater. Coming to a halt in front of Law, Hakumen looked down at the man, who was about a foot shorter than he was. Dropping the car door - which could be seen to have been bent back into shape after a powerful blow of some sort had ruined it - at Law's feet, Hakumen spoke solemnly.

"I believe this is yours."

Uchiten

Uchiten was needless to say disappointed that the combat had been cut short by the arrival of the primal phoenix he beheld now. It stood in the bombed crater where it had crashed like a meteor, its presence seeming to extinguish the fighting desire of the golden warrior, who had promptly left with great speed.

The entourage of shikigami likewise shared their master's feelings, although Homura's sigh was also filled with something like relief, and Zan did not appear disappointed so much as bored, the sharpness in his gaze dulling back to an aloof stare.

The slight annoyance building up in the onmyoji at the mystical bird dissipated as he took notice of the remaining combatant.

A smirk returning to his face, Uchiten bowed lightly to the sorceress.

"I am Ketsumoto Uchiten, Onmyoji of Japan." He began, the curse that was his name escaping his lips even without any power placed into it. "And these are my familiars, Zan, Shi and Homura."

He gestured to the three who gave no reaction, apart from twitches of acknowledgement on the two onis' side, and a smile on the kitsune's; and then continued to speak.

"I thank you for the short, yet excellent entertainment your battle provided. You showed some powerful magic. That too is praiseworthy." he asked.
