If she had been able, Forest would have blushed at that.

Then of course, her thoughts trailed to, Well, I would have been happier if you broke the bed when I was in it . . . She quickly banished the thought, shook her head, and replied, "That's me full of bloody surprises . . . I'm Forest by the way."

There was a flicker in his gray eyes, a slight flicker of light as his voice changed sightly when he proclaimed his luck.  "Well, if you're not an evil monster then maybe?"

"Was that a proposition to break it again sometime? Because that would be fun." Archer flashed a grin. "Most people call me Archer, if we're introducing ourselves. I have to apologize a little for dropping in uninvited Forest."

Really, this was quite the lucky break, Archer considered. A possible place to stay, and see if he was truly free. And then...

Well, he'd figure that out later.

Gabriel smirked from his hiding place as he listened to the conversation.

Forest stared at Archer for a moment at his cheeky comment before looking away quickly.  She replied, "Well, it wasn't your fault that mystical forces spun you here without your consent or whatnot . . . So, welcome to Nexus City, Archer.  Also, don't put too much of your luck yet."

E ranked luck was after all, his forte. But considering the blush she was likely attempting to hide, Archer didn't consider himself that unlucky. Forest was very much like Rin, in some ways it seemed. "Thanks for the welcome. Mind if I crash here again for the time being?"

Forest nodded and answered, "Of course.  I do have plenty of room after all . . ."

Then she frowned and asked, "Do you have a twin brother by any chance?"

"No, I don't. Why are you asking?" Archer leaned his back against the wall, close to the door. "Did some other version of me somehow crash land on your couch, or on the table?"

"Sort of.  There are differences, like he's thinner than you and he came looking for a quiet little school girl that I'm currently housing," Forest answered, "So do you normally break furniture in a dramatic entrance?"

Archer gave a small smirk, a flash of white teeth. "Well, it's sort of something I've done before. Sort of in the same situation you found me in now, though that one was in a living room. She was livid about the couch." Shifting slightly, he switched gears. "I'll help you clean up the bed, by the way. Least I can do."

Forest sighed at the loss of her bed, even though she didn't find herself severely annoyed about it.  I can order another one.  I've slept in worse conditions.  Plus, it's not like I have a shortage of beds . . . Or anything.

She did grin at his offer and said, "Thank you.  You know, for taking responsibility and all of that."

"Aren't you moving a little fast? I mean, we haven't even kissed yet and you're already asking me to take responsibility." Archer raised his eyebrow, the teasing grin spreading over his face. It was the perfect set up. Really, there was no possible way for him to resist saying that.

Forest's eyes widened at the implications of her words; especially since Archer called her out on it.  She bit her lip, her eyes narrowed, and she replied, "That's not what I meant . . . Not at all.  That's . . . Bloody hell."

Shakespeare

"Alack! what poverty my Muse brings forth, That having such a scope to show her pride, The argument all bare is of more worth Than when it hath my added praise beside! O! blame me not, if I no more can write!" Sorrow filled my voice, pride harmed by the beauties words, and my Masters lack of knowledge of my artistry. Truly, there was no more horrible situation. My ring showed my melancholy as I reached within my jacket, producing a well made tome, illustrated with a rather flattering bust of myself in my elder years. "Here, take mine words for your knowledge. I must not dwell on the great sadness your ignorance has caused me Master, for such things are fleeting like the mayflies."

With another flourish I produced a smaller tome of mine out of my sleeve, giving it to the fair Assassin. "Alas! 'tis true, I have gone here and there, And made my self a motley to the view, Gored mine own thoughts, sold cheap what is most dear, but fair lady, I have and wish nothing but the best for you." As I pressed the binding into her palm , I spoke in a voice low enough for only her flushed ears to hear. "Silence does not fit thy fair lips well. Use my lines within on the Master, sweet lady. The words of the Bard work their own magic, Queen of the Gardens."

Shirou had an apologetic look on his face as Caster forced a rather illustrious book into his hands.

"I guess I can read this at a later point in time", hiding away the tome in one of his larger pockets on his Church uniform. Unfortunately, it still poked just barely, the well-worn leather-bound book sticking out against his black uniform like a sore thumb, "Thank you Caster."

"W-WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!?!", exclaimed Assassin loudly, drawing the eyes of both Shirou and Caster to her.

She had begun reading the book no larger than a hand, and a tint of red, both out of embarrassment and anger, clad her cheeks.

"Why in the name of every god there is would I need a collection of your awful poetry, moreover about love, and most of all, WHY WOULD I SHARE THIS DRIVEL WITH MASTER?! I know how to bed a man, damn it!", she raged, almost applying a heavy amount of trauma to the poet's face then and there before she noticed her Master's reaction.

Shirou couldn't hold in his laughter at the display. Here was Assassin, the first Black Widow and the seducer of man, flailing like a teenager with a crush over being called out on said crush. Shirou doubted she'd ever need such a thing. If she wanted a man, she would have to do little to gain that man's affections, he reasoned.

Slowly regaining his composure, having almost keeled over in laughter, Shirou spoke once more.

"Why not keep it, Assassin? At the very least, if it's "awful", you could use it as a standard of what not to do",  his rather snarky remark drawing on another chuckle from himself and caused her cheeks to redden further.

"You're not helping, Master..."

"...Snow?"

Caules was thoroughly confused. When he and the Knight first started the morning, the weather had been like that of the early autumn, the temperature steady with the occasional cold blast of wind. But now it was snowing of all things? He could feel the temperature steadily drop, and he began to feel cold.

"Well that's just a tad out of season, I'd say. I guess our choice of breakfast should be something warm, huh?", asking the Knight. That armor must get quite cold in these temperatures, he reasoned.

Each comment of hers crushed my heart a little further, bit by bit. Alas, to love the story is to suffer the barbs and arrows of ill fortune. "Ah, if it doesn't help, much sorrow fills my breast." I collapsed to my knees before the Queen of Assyria, hands outstretched and begging. "For my forward intentions and ill advised attempts to show you how to woo the heart when you wish nothing more than carnal lust, I apologize most deeply. I beg thee forgive my trespass." Somehow, even the greatest of words could not soothe the savage heart of some women, and show them the way into anothers. Ah, such a piteous creature I must look at the moment, prostrate before this woman like a lover kicked from bed.

 Paladin

"Heh," I started, unable to not begin a sentence with a chuckle. "Do we leave the blood around, or is cleaning sacrilegious in some ways?"

"There is nothing against cleaning up the blood if you really want to," Paladin paused as the sound of sirens filled the air "but it seems like the local law enforcement has been called. We should get moving."

They ran to the entrance of this the zoo only to see that the wagon was gone.

"Well, this is unfortunate. Do you have a plan for getting out of this without hurting the officers? I will not harm them. We can find the wagon later."

Archer just kept grinning as he strolled over to the ruins of the bed. "You don't have to admit it right away, you know." Archer started moving the mattress out of the wreckage of the fourposter, careful not to damage it. "Unless you want to of course."

The vampire's eyes narrowed at Archer's teasing.  She folded her arms around her and retorted, "Or maybe some cosmic wanker is just being far too hopeful and putting way to much into things, or maybe you're the one who wants to admit it."

Lord and Lady, am I flirting?  Yeah, I'm definitely flirting . . . With my luck he'll probably freak out when he finds out that I'm a vampire or whatnot.

She did move over to help him with the mattress.   "At least I can still use this for now."
