Rin

Lancer gave Rin a sad grin and said, "Aye, your bowman was full of all sorts of self loathing.  Even took that Rin as hostage to provoke the redheaded kid to fight him.  Saber had to watch the fight; the possibility of her Master being raped and murdered be damned.  Hell, that even shocked the traitorous bastard."
Rin sighed. "So, he was counting on Saber to save me. Honestly, I would have been as surprised as him. Still, that idiot. If he were still around, I'd lecture him from here to tomorrow. Don't care what reality he's from. Then make him clean my house. Twice. And then make him make me a luxurious full course meal."

She smiled wanly. "The other me got really lucky then, to have you come along. Still, the moron should have talked to me first, you know?" There was a twinge of sadness. "Always did want to do his own thing, even after I used up a command seal to make him more obedient. Idiot. If only he were around for me to yell at."

Quote
He sighed and said, "If you feel the need to hit something, don't shunt it away.  Its unhealthy.  Drinking it away isn't going to help in the long run either.  There are plenty of things in this town that need to be fought."

He grinned and said, "So, wanna join an Irish hero and raise some hell?"
Rin normally would have considered it more. Tried to play it smarter, safer. But the alcohol was coursing through her veins now, and it made her braver, more reckless.

"I could do with some venting." She grinned, nice and wide. "What do you have planned?"

"So what is your name?" the doctor inquired as his eyes remained stuck in front of the steering wheel, "I'm Henry."
"Staff Sergeant Jonathan Mathews; Bravo Company, 24th Harlech Regiment." He rattled off mechanically, mind elsewhere. "Her name is Specialist Samantha Cardigan."

“If you had dropped me Rider you would have certainly gotten a reaction, probably not the one you were aiming for though.”

She then smirked as the leaned on the railing again, “Then again dropping me would have been incredibly stupid for such a great king like yourself. Why, if I had died you would have lost such a “lovely flower” for a master, it would have been such a tragedy.”

"Oh I'm certain I could find someone more lovely than you before I faded away. But that would be breaking my word, and my word is law. No one should suffer the law of someone who doesn't follow them himself."

"Speaking of the lovely you, wouldn't being a little more womanly instead of not even reacting to nearly being flung off a building be beneficial to you? You could get someone who'd put a child in you easily for you and your old man's adorable little cause if you didn't behave with the emotional range of a Golem", he said in a mocking tone.

His little flower would be a lot more lovely if she wasn't so stuck up.

Amy

Amy rubbed her cheeks as she frowned, “It is not my fault your such a good pillow” she mumbled.

Then a dangerous smirk blossomed on her face, “But I bet you liked it, didn’t you Fi-o-re. Why with all your advances last night and that underwear…” She trailed off at the end it looked like she realized something.

“Oh, you were trying to seduce me, weren’t you?” She then leapt at Fiore and pulled her into a hug pressing Fiore’s head against her chest, “My my, such a deviant you are. Mille was right there all night. Or did you plan on bringing her in to it as well.”

Good luck Fiore. You should not have started this fight.

"W-w-wwwhat?", Fiore tried to speak as she was pinned against Amy's chest again. What was Amy saying?!

"B-but I haven't done any of those things! What are talking about?!", she was confused, hell she barely knew what Amy was talking about, but Amy's lewd comments still made her red as a tomato.

"You were the one who was fondling me, Amy, so how am I the pervert", Fiore tried to reason, but there was no reasoning with those who deliberately ignored it as she tried and failed to free herself from Amy's grasp. Her arm strength really left something to be desired.

Benjamin – 20 minutes after competition started.

As Benjamin walked through buildings and streets he kept taking out the targets, again, and again. However he noticed they seemed to start just avoiding him. They seemed to pick up on the fact that he was much slower than the Queen and hence easier to evade.

Benjamin frowned, there was no way he was going to win that this rate. And so he fired again destroying a fire hydrant. The water spayed all over the street, covering the pavement with a thin layer of it. And then Benjamin simply began to glide on top of it, increasing his speed many times over.

This repeated itself again and again, more and more hydrants were destroyed, in addition to water pipes into buildings, water mains, and more and more parts of the plumbing system in the area were destroyed.

Soon water was everywhere and with it Benjamin could no longer be outran. And the hunt continued.

Lorelei ran through the streets at a pace exceeding that of a race car, Lorelei's eyes looked over everything she passed, her instincts immediately telling her if she was dealing with a supernatural or not. She'd not harm humans or Magi, but bloodsuckers and therianthropes could easily hide in the midst of such, and thus she had to be careful. As hundreds of people fled or hid from the explosions and other violence that had been displayed, Lorelei's instincts told her who among them was what she was looking for and who wasn't, and each of her targets in sight was picked off by barrages of her massive Gandrs.

The streets were left desolate by the fleeing masses. Only the Queen, splattered in blood, remained.

Henry

Quote
"Staff Sergeant Jonathan Mathews; Bravo Company, 24th Harlech Regiment." He rattled off mechanically, mind elsewhere. "Her name is Specialist Samantha Cardigan."

Henry nodded at the introduction. They were military alright, but from where exactly? That isn't important, no. They need to get to the compound right away. That wound had already festered and seems to be the source of a myriad of diseases that baffled Henry. None of the unfamiliar, but how they seem to be coming from one source in her shoulder, something is wrong. Very very wrong.

The car bopped up after driving down below the surface. Lights were switched on as darkness enveloped the vehicle. As the car was nearing the garage, it's metallic shutter door started to rise to greet them inside. No doubt, the sound would herald their arrival. He would then park in the nearest spot and immediately kill the engine.

"C'mon. We need to get her to the infirmary so I can work on her and the other," the doctor beckoned the sergeant.

The car's system blared in response of its open doors. Henry then started to open up the back trunk while Matthews would be extracting Samantha from the vehicle.

“Being womanly has nothing to do with panicking over an easily manageable situation. That is just being stupid.” She leaned against the railing and faced Rider. “And really Rider, if you acted more like a gentleman and less like a letch I might let myself be a little more expressive around you.”

She then walked back inside before stopping, “Also Rider, Golems tend not to feel annoyance. You should probably brush up on knowledge of magecraft.”

Amy

Amy simply laughed at Fiore’s reaction before letting her go. She then got out of bed, feeling awake after that exchange.

“No use hiding it Fiore” She said while stretching, “A perverted girl like yourself should just accept their nature.”

Meanwhile Proxy just sighed, “Well, if you two are just going to play around I will go make sure you have a table to eat breakfast downstairs.” And with that there was suddenly a white haired man dressed in a butlers outfit picking up Proxy, “Please do not keep me waiting too long while you play.” It was still Proxy’s voice, but now it came from the man’s mouth.

Amy simply frowned at the man and rabbit, “Aww, your no fun.”

Benjamin – 30 minutes into the competition

Benjamin clicked his tongue as he passed by another group of cowering normal. The number of targets was getting scarcer and scarcer.

Benjamin blasted another few targets with pinpoint attacks before gliding around a corner. At this rate they will run out it seems like.

He then saw a larger group again, the last one within his range of sight. Taking one of his cannons he allowed water to collect in it to preserve his prana. He then fired like he would always do, ripping holes through walls before killing those in the group.

Simple.

Mordred noticed the blood splattered over the car. "I don't think you just ran over that beast?" Hopping in the car, she chastised Law "Fool, next time when I fight him stay away from the battlefield, you have pissed off that arrogant dude for sure. I won't even ask what the hell you were thinking. Though..." Mordred paused, with faint smile on her face "I'm glad you are still alive"
Law

"Someone hit me actually. And ditto. I'm glad you made it out of there." Law shifted the car into gear looking for a fueling station and car wash. "I piss off people all the time, one more won't hurt me. I don't die easily."

You can thank me for that.

'Who ever said I'm not grateful for you saving my fucking ass?'

Forest frowned at Archer's words.  His concern was reasonable; after all she was a vampire.  Normally vampires didn't act as medical professionals or administer first aid.  Not to say her control was limitless, but a firm voice in her head, that sounded like a combination of Wynn, Gabriel and, Ash, said, It has been two days since you last fed.  Last time you were up close to potentially that much blood you'd made sure to binge on a werewolf before Wynn went into Labor.

Still, she scowled, nodded, and went to hold him down as Karna stepped in to help.  There was a look of annoyance on the stoic god's face as Archer gripped the blood coated bit of metal.  From Karna's hold, Forest knew Lucas wasn't going anywhere.

"Wait," she said, pulling off the belt of her jeans and securing it to Lucas's arm above the rebar.  She pulled it tight and made sure she could wiggle her finger in between the man's skin and her make shift tourniquet.  "One. Two. Three, pull the sodding thing out!"
EMIYA

Archer eyed the quick tourniquet with the eye of one who'd had to make more than a few himself.

"One. Two. Three, pull the sodding thing out!"

On three, Archer yanked the rebar free like he'd done before, hard and sudden. Blood spurted out - not unexpected, considering the location. A nicked artery for sure. The scent of iron filled the air and Archer felt some splatter against his front. Far less than there would be without that tourniquet, he could tell.

"Break that arm into place." archer said quickly, stepping out of the way for Forest to do her work - this was a little out of his range of expertise.

“I am afraid that it is far too sensitive to discuss, you will see the results in due time, however I must say it is my finest work. The only reason I am even here in the flesh and not currently attending to it is because my side projects required my actual presence to make sure the familiars are properly attuned to me.” Zolgen explained.

"Your finest work? You've aroused my curiosity, Zolgen. I hope you will inform me when it is almost completed." Grigori had not expected Zolgen to tell her that much about his project. She will have to keep an eye on him. A magus as skilled as Zolgen should be capable of making something entertaining.

Quote
“But I must say, something has recently been interacting with the Ley lines. Do you know anything about that Grigori?”

"I have an ally doing some work with theme. We have a little surprise for the whole city."

Quote
“You may place the creature here should you desire. We can examine it together if you wish.”

The orb floated over to the table, dissapeared, and released the creature. If Zolgen wished to examine the creature he could contain it himself. Having him contain it  would also give Grigori a chance to see what else he could do with magic.

"Run, Hunter!"
Easier said than done. As soon as Paladin bolted, the rag man was hot on his heels.

I raised my Inferno Revolver and fired at him. As soon as I pulled the trigger, his huge, bear head shifted ever so slightly towards me.

It happened in less than a second. The projectile lava blasted towards him, and he turned back into a human and fell just fast enough to be untouched. The shot continued to melt through the wall on the other side of the alley, while he stumbled from his fall. Without thinking, I ran between him and the direction Paladin had run.

He'd made it abundantly clear he could catch up as a bear if we tried to run. I needed something more... permanent.

Okay, straight alley, cops coming from the front, angry bear guy also in front of me. Couldn't just run though, Bear would catch us. Hole in the right wall, my shot, and a fire escape up above. Oh, there we go. There was a man on the fire escape, no doubt drawn by the noises and his own curiosity.

"Don't move!" A voice said from the other side of the alley, and I realized things must have been happening while I was thinking. Cops had caught up with me. Weird, since my peripheral vision would have let me know if bear man had moved, which he hadn't since I started thinking.

I looked down at him. He looked up at me intensely.

"YOUR SMELL, WHAT ARE YOU?!" He bellowed, until he jumped up energetically. "NEVER MIND THAT! WHY DO YOU STAND BETWEEN ME AND THE PENGUIN SLAYER?!"

Did think only paladin was involved? But then, he mentioned smell. I didn't jump in and get penguin blood on my shoes, so I must smell innocent to him.

"He's an interesting person. I reckon I'd observe him a little longer," I said, wondering what the best angle would be for my plan. Definitely not where I was standing, I'd have to shoot through the bystander to get my target. A little more forward? But then if I advance, both he and the cops will react. He was something, but the cops and the guns were something else. I couldn't draw their fire, not in this small an alleyway.

"HE WHO DEFENDS A MURDERER CAN ONLY BE A VILLAIN! PREPARE YOURSELF FOR NATURE'S WRATH, METED OUT THROUGH MY FISTS!" He yelled out again, before advancing onto me.

Well, that works.

I I walk at him, meeting him halfway. A small part of my mind decides to point out that I have my angle, but it's immediately blocked out by a much louder part telling me I had a right jab coming.

Wasn't going to work on me, pal. I've seen your trick. Instead of moving back, I move to the side. His hand turns into a bear paw and harmlessly hits nothing with its added range and power.

I couldn't counter with my right hand, it was holding my gun. So instead, I twist and try to hook him with my left. A complete amateur's punch, which he easily dodged by pulling his head back. He pulled his jab back and back handed me right in the jaw, making me fall with my back against the alley wall.

I saw stars, had a circus in my head, flopped like spaghetti and more. For a second, I was entirely out of it. He stood above me, checking me out, and I almost heard cops moving in.

A thought occurred to me: Down here, I had a really good angle. It might be worth the shot.

I grabbed the Inferno Revolver with both hands the same way someone would hold an assault rifle and fired straight up, where my assailant's face was sniffing me, four times.

"WHAT?!" He shouted in surprise as he nimbly got out of the way, and out of my face.

He was not the target, though. Four shots went straight upwards, melting and destroying supports for the fire escape until only the two lowest supports we left. The entire construct shook and started leaning outwards slowly, until it fully decided to fall.

Bear looked at me, and I pointed up. Oh no, there was a man falling with the fire escape, someone help him!

"YOU FIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNND!" He yelled as he turned into a gigantic eagle, soaring upwards and catching the man as he did so.

I wasted no time. While the cops reeled at the sight of destruction, I ran away, out of the alley. In the street, I found a manhole with a penguin on it, a clear message. I pulled it off and jumped in, just to see paladin.

"Howdy," I could only say, with an undoubtedly bruised chin.

"Pff, Magecraft. There is no point in learning about what cannot harm you and what you cannot use. Magecraft never slew dragons, toppled kingdoms or made the integrity of a king", Rider scoffed aside with a confident glint of his teeth. Besides his Reality Marble, no magic mumbo-jumbo was relevant to him. The gods had granted him resistance against such things.

"The world revolves around the powers of man. Heroes who fought dragons, men who fought a dozen others with a stick and leaders who rallied millions under his name simply because he was better than them. But since such things are impossible in the world today, I guess the world revolves around... nothing."

Amy simply laughed at Fiore’s reaction before letting her go. She then got out of bed, feeling awake after that exchange.

"I-I'm not a pervert. You're that much of a lech that you fondle people in your sleep, Amy. For shame", she said with a pout, as she took her clothes from one of the nightstands and began to awkward shuffle into her black pants. She'd normally ask for help but with Amy as she was at the moment, she reasoned it a bad idea.

Trying to not provoke the lewd girl any further, Fiore covered herself with her silk shirt and began to button up her jacket.

Zolgen

‘So that spirit that Girgori was with is up to something,’ Zolgen thought, ‘I should make sure my bounded fields are as strong as possible, just in case.

The moment the beast touched the table the circles on it activated. Water wrapped around it like chains and a large bubble formed to make sure any gasses or particle it releases when being dissected do not reach Zolgen.

Then the Zolgen held out his hand showing the worms sitting on it, each of them partially developed into bladeworms, and allowed them to enter the sphere.  Slowly they swam though the liquid before arriving that the bound beast and began to slowly and steadily cut away at it.

Sakura

“You should still respect the power of magecraft, even if it poses less of a danger to you than it does to most you are not unaffected by it.” Sakura stated, “After all it is what allowed you to be reborn into the world.”

It was such a simple truth that most servants seem to overlook. Without magecraft they would not even exist in the current world.  And even then, it was often a massive part of the legends of many heroes, from the Knights of the Round Table, many Irish myths, and even to Saint George a catholic saint.

Amy

Amy snickered as she started to get dressed. Proxy having left a mere moment ago, “I can’t help it Fiore, your just so adorable when your face goes all red like that.”

She then realized something, “I am surprised you did not react to Proxy’s artificial form randomly showing up, especially since it is a guy. Or are you so used to men showing up in your room unannounced when you’re getting dressed?”

Staff Sergeant Jonathan Mathews:

While Henry was getting his tools, Jonathan hurriedly pulled Samantha out of the back seat. She was now much worse than she was earlier, and were those freakin' maggots falling out of the two cuts?!

Carrying her bridal style, he turned to the other man, "Where should I lay her down at?!" Mathews all but demanded to know.

The loss of a False Face was unimportant. The knowledge of its existence unfortunate, but these two individuals do not truly know about what he truly was.  Azmortchal'um will let this Azmortchal be dissected, curiosity being the major reason. If they alter any part, it will be eventually recycled, allowing the modification to become standard if deemed a worthy enough addition. And if the Locust King were to make any slip ups during his procedure, well, that is just more biomatter for the collective...

Kyle shrugged. "To be frank, I prefer it over 'Gabriel'. Matches better with someone who can push people into copulating with each other, don't you think? Even if the sprog isn't fond of it, I prefer to roll with that. Besides, I could come up with much worse if I wanted to, he's getting away pretty easily."

The question of gender didn't seem to matter for Wynn, which perplexed him. But what rubbed him the wrong way was another matter. "Gift is key? Are you saying that you would ignore the child if they weren't blessed with potential?"

Henry

He grunted while he hefted out a box from the trunk. A container full of his necessary tools for the task he will have to face very soon.

"C'mon. Follow me," he ordered the soldier.

The doctor ran off towards the infirmary. As they would arrive, the harsh copper-ish scent would make his nostrils flare. He could see people huddling around who could presumably be his other patient.

"Hey, I hate to bother you all. But, I need someone to get the rest of my equipment. And I have another new patient."

Wynn shrugged and said, "The archangels themselves were manipulative enough in Christian lore.  Forest suggested that I name him something like Corbin, Roderick, Donovan or Duncan.  Names that are heavily used in the Fae courts.  I wanted to go against tradition, much like his conception."

She sighed at Kyle's accusation and said, "I would not ignore the child if they were not blessed with potential.  Admittedly, I would prefer a gifted grandchild over a non magically adept one, but I would not have a wastrel barring my name."

Then she heard a loud commotion, people shouting and sighed.  She tilted her forehead and said, "Admittedly, my curiosity is getting a hold of me.  I am going to see what is going on down there and remove anyone who should not be here."  With that, she vanished into her Shadows to head for the infirmary faster than she could walk down the steps.

******

Forest backed up as the sweet, bright crimson arch sprayed into the air.  Its coppery sweet scent tinged with something like grass and clean earth made her fangs start to throb in her jaw and her vision flashed red for the briefest of moments.  She reigned in her control as Archer backed away and grabbed the boards.

In the middle of setting the arm, the door was thrown open as Henry came in with a soldier carrying another soldier in tow.  The smell of rot hit her nostrils and almost caused her to gag.  The stench was coming from the woman in the solder's arms.

She's dying, Forest realized grimly.  Then she looked at Karna.  "Hey, wait, you've got almighty god powers and whatnot right?  I think now might be a good time to use them."  She pointed at the rotting woman, knowing that despite Henry's abilities, this was out of his league.

******

Lancer eyed Rin, saluted her with his glass, and said, "Frankly, that's more than the asshole deserves."

However he remembered a promise.  That Rin hadn't wanted Archer dead.  She cared for him, which was more than the bastard deserved, and Lancer wasn't going to kill him.  He was going to beat the miserable traitor to an inch of his life and then throw him at Rin's feet to beg for forgiveness.

Just . . . things didn't turn out that way.

Come back when you're older.

This Rin wasn't that Rin.  That Rin, despite being utterly drained and exhausted, was determined to heal him.  He had waved her off, knowing that she couldn't stave his second death off.

He grinned at her and said, "Well, right now it's late.  How about tomorrow though.  I come back and I'll show you the town.  We'll make a day of it.  I'm off from work and a bit of a date sounds like its exactly what you need."
