[Umbra of Chaos]

Paladin

Paladin grimaced as he climbed out of the manhole. The stench of the sewers seemed to cling to his armor, and the chance of finding some place private enough to clean it without being seen was slim. The area was desolate. The warrior spent a few moments looking for anything strange before walking back to the manhole.

"It's all clear, Hunter."


PARIAH

PARIAH glared at the abomination. There were no other words he could use to describe it. The only Infected who could have a will was PARIAH because he was the virus, but this thing. It defied that idea with every breath.

PARIAH looked up to Sister and said, "Don't worry. I'll be back soon."

He let go of his sibling and rushed towards the abomination. In an instant his hands turned into bladelike claws, and he swung his right arm in an attempt to bisect the creature.

[Kiritsugu_Emiya]

Shirou Emiya had been walking around the city for hours deciding to get a feel for the urban area he had just yesterday arrived in.

He had only two memories; the first, his sister Miyu and the second being of the contract he made with the Counter Force to save her.

"Alright I think I've got a decent idea of the city's layout I guess I should head back now." Oh, there had been some trouble here and there, a couple of werewolves and the like, but a single projected Noble Phantasm could bring them down.

"Miyu, I hope you're okay," thought Shirou as he made his way back to his hotel.

[Elf]

Gabriel smirked as he stole a bit of La Folia's breakfast and said, "Well, I could always lend you a pair of my undergarments until we secure your things.   Unless voyeurism is something that you'd enjoy."

Lancer smirked as Rin nestled next to him as he ran.  He headed towards the police station; he'd seen the building plenty of times before on the way to work.   He just hoped that Saber would still be there when they arrived.

Even though, I wouldn't be overly fussed if she wasn't, he thought as he eyed Rin in his arms and his smirk grew.

Saber eyed Lancelot.  She knew Quinn wouldn't be comfortable with the man sitting behind or beside him in the small space of Quinn's vehicle.   She zipped up her wool-lined leather jacket and slid gloves on her hands before looking at the two men.

Honestly, she was fond of this jacket.  It had been the first thing she had bought for herself with her first paycheck.  It had been an advance; one apparently hard won due to her skills, and she needed clothing as well as food and shelter.  The price was a bit extravagant, but it was well made and Quinn and Dr. Wallace approved of how she looked in the coat.  That had been enough to sway any misgivings she had.

Plus she adored the smell of it and its warmth.

She said, "I think it would be best for us to walk there.  It is not far."

Forest watched as Hakuno left with her Archer.  She eyed Henry and Archer before asking, "Want to help me eat these?  I really can't eat all of this by myself."

Then to Archer, she looked at him before blurting out, "DoyouwantmetoshowyouaroundNexusafterthesungoesdown?"

[Knick]

Amy

 “Hihihihi” laughed Proxy, as he was scolded by Fiore, completely ignoring his glaring mother as she dripped with water. “But it was getting to boring in here. “ He then frowned as he looked at the Mille and the blond girl the thing floating around her. All the while Amy stomped up to him and Fiore.

“But that shiny stick had to ruin my fun” He said sadly as he was picked up by the fur around his neck by Amy.

“Dry. Now.” Amy said, her eye twitching as she held the rabbit to her face.

“Hihihi, ok then mother.” And at that the rabbits collors shifted again, becoming a pale green with a flashes of blue. The wind picked up at the water began to flow out of Amy’s clothing, becoming droplets before floating back to the pool.

“Happy?” Proxy said cheerfully as Amy put him back down into Fiore's lap.


Cina Prayer

Cina let lose a small gasp as the girls hands grasped her shoulders suddenly, her body aching at the sudden act. But then the other girl’s hands began to move.  Her hands slid down her arms and the magic flowed into Cina’s body, her pain began to fade, her soreness slowly vanished. All the while the other girl’s fingers softly and sensually danced across every inch of her skin.

Then almost as suddenly as she began the girl’s hands departed from Cina’s arms, one grabbing waist and pulled her closer, while the other one relocated to the medium’s leg.
“A-ah”, soft moan escaped Cina’s mouth as the hands softly moved up her legs, softly squeezing her thighs as the glided along her skin. The healing magic permeating her skin even more, reliving even more pain.

The hands continued traveling up her body until they reached Cina’s chest. The other hand leaving Cina’s hip at it cupped her face as their foreheads touch. Cina’s now slightly glossy eyes looked into the other girls, as she giggled. The hand traced her hand along the bottom of her breast, until suddenly it moved and pressed down in them center of her chest.

And with that the magic flowed, warmth far greater then what she had felt with the rest of the healing spread though her, her body felt light as her exhaustion left her and the remainder of her wounds vanished.

And then she let out a gasp as it reached the peak, fading quickly after, her wounds gone and body repaired.

However Cina simply laid there as she panted softly as she blankly looked up at the other girl with her gem like eyes.

“T-thank you” she let out with a soft voice, her face flushed.

[Brahmastra]

"Going without it has it's own dangerous charm, no? I'll wait until we visit the hotel." The daring hint was getting clear as day in the whitehead's voice as she swallowed the last bit of breakfast she could stomach. A quarter of the omelet remained, but she couldn't stomach another bite. Handing the tray back to Gabriel, she stood up, free of the blanket she was wrapped in and sauntered her naked self over to pick up her clothing scattered on the other side of the bed from the night before, bending over temptingly to grasp her button-up shirt first.

"So, did you have any plans for today?", she asked as she pulled the shirt over her shoulders and began buttoning it up, hiding away her breasts once more.

[Elf]

Gabriel enjoyed the view as he started to give the rest of her omelet a good home.  He replied, "Of course I do.  I'm Fae.  We always have plans.  As to sharing those plans, I am also Fae so that means they will be revealed at my own leisure."

He mourned the sight of her covered breasts and smirked at the thought of her going knickerless into town.

Wynn's lips curved upward as she took the German's hand.  She said, "I would suggest not letting to of my hand, or there is a great chance you could be lost forever."

Then she pulled Rattus and herself into the shadows.

[Brahmastra]

"If you are simply going to hide them away, then let's get downstairs." Pulling on her jacket and adjusting her skirt to sit low enough to give a hint of privacy, she indicated the door with a toss of her hair.

[Kaze]

LANCELOT

Lancelot gave a brisk nod at his former king’s words. He decided that the best course of action to protect what remained of his newly reacquired sanity was to simply pretend that she still was the ruling monarch, until she managed to explain what had happened. Until then he would treat her words as orders, the unbreakable law of the king.

“It will be as you say.” The dark knight briefly looked over at the street where he had been run over just moments ago, before turning his attention back on Quinn. “May I assume the other major transportation method in these parts are the horseless metal carriages?”


MERCER

Mercer was entirely focused on the man-bird machine, calculating exactly how he would absorb the imminent dive-bomb and time his counter attack. As a result, it took him too long to notice that his connection to the REDLIGHT hive mind was active – something that should be utterly impossible. He had left the infection behind in New York when he had somehow been transported to this Nexus City place.

It was only when ZEUS heard a heavy footfall behind him that he realized he was being targeted by a new assailant. Abandoning his attempt to kill the bird, Mercer threw himself to the side in an effort to avoid whatever attack came his way. He wasn’t nearly fast enough.

Something sharp tore through the sentient virus, cutting straight through the biomass where his hips would be if he were human. He swore in irritation at having his legs cut off for the second time in the same battle. Landing hard on his side, Mercer quickly formed a few tendrils of biomass to reach out and grab his severed legs, reabsorbing the biomass into his body even as he constructed new legs.

Jumping to his feet, Mercer got a good look at his new attacker, and found himself face to face with the impossibility.

“While MOTHER represents what we think is a simple carrier, something we’ve seen time and again, PARIAH is unique.”

The same kid standing against a wall, covered in the blood of the mutilated dog lying next to him.

“There are several intriguing anomalies: for one, the subject is male. Secondly, it exhibits no evidence of carrying any virus. However… we’re not at all certain what he is.”

Mercer grit his teeth as images and words from stolen memories assaulted him, bringing on the faimiliar headache.

“You… you’re…” ZEUS staggered back a step, trying to regain his bearings while focusing on the one REDLIGHT specimen he had never expected to see.

[Arch-Magos Winter]

Forest watched as Hakuno left with her Archer.  She eyed Henry and Archer before asking, "Want to help me eat these?  I really can't eat all of this by myself."

Then to Archer, she looked at him before blurting out, "DoyouwantmetoshowyouaroundNexusafterthesungoesdown?"

"...I'm sorry, could you say that a little slower?" Archer asked, smiling a little bit. "I think you just asked me out on a date there but I can't be sure."

[Elf]

Gabriel said, "Aren't you going to ask what my slightly devious plans are?  Aren't you just a bit curious?"

Forest bit her lip as she looked at Archer's teasing smile.  Her eyes narrowed slightly as she gripped the plate in her hands.

"Yes, I just asked you on a date," she managed to say before quickly looking away, "I was offering to show you around town."

Then she braced herself for the upcoming rejection.

"They're called cars," Quinn answered giving Saber a look.

The blond frowned and tilted her head as she studied her knight.  It was damned obvious to Quinn that the Black Knight was falling into an old pattern; probably for comfort.  He was probably confused and out of sorts in this world of technology and steel.

She said, "This world has changed greatly, Lancelot.  Some changes are for the better, like plumbing, while others . . . not so much."

Quinn tilted his head and said, "Come on, I'll lead the way."  He did grin at Saber's comment about plumbing as he started to walk into the direction of the best pizza in Nexus.

[Puck-Chan]

"Later," Henry declined the offer momentarily, "I think whatever is making the ruckus above our heads warrants more attention. I hope you will excuse me for my leave..."

He then started to follow after Archer and Hakuno while starting to leave the room. But not before he gave a subtle boyish wink towards the Scarlet Knight for luck. It was then the doctor finally started to briskly walk through the hallway to head up the stairs.

[Ivan The Mouse]

Then she pulled Rattus and herself into the shadows.

He felt puzzled upon hearing the strange woman's warning of not letting go of her hand. But his hold already was firm yet gentle, so that when she suddenly pulled herself into the shadows and brought Rattus with her, there was no way that he could be lost forever, as she phrased it herself.

The first thing that the German felt when he entered the shadows is pure dread. The shadows, as he saw it, lived up to their name by becoming not only dark, but also empty. However, he thought to himself that this realm or dimension was not empty, but rather full of nothingness. He also thought that the shadows were a perfect manifestation of how some people interpreted the aftermath of death, which is a never-ending and vast space full of nothingness. But Rattus' dread was quickly but gradually replaced with a neutral feeling, not too serene that he would like to be in the shadows, neither too empty that it would make him feel bleak and depressed. And soon enough, Rattus did not feel a thing during his whole stay in the shadows and he was back to being composed.

[Kaze]

As Quinn led them to their destination, Lancelot fell in step to the right of and just slightly behind the former King of Knights. He considered taking off his helmet, but the Knight of the Lake was still extremely unsettled, and remaining hidden behind the metal visage provided some measure of comfort and solace from the stares he was drawing. Lancelot knew he should be above such petty concerns, but the past few weeks, from trying to kill his former king to being crushed underneath a “car” like so much dirt underneath the wheels of a chariot, had taken their toll. It was shameful, and only compounded the embarrassment he already felt.

With no conversation immediately forthcoming, Lancelot addressed the easiest concern while keeping his eyes firmly trained on the pretty boy in front. “I must apologize, King Arthur…” The dark knight blinked, realizing his mistake. The thought crossed his mind to call her Arturia, given she clearly wasn’t hiding her gender, but after so many years of keeping it secret he dismissed the idea out of hand. “Arthur, please forgive my rudeness, but I think it best that I do not partake in what drink this establishment provides to its patrons.”

[Kiritsugu_Emiya]

"No, I think I should explore the city for a while longer," Shirou Emiya decided to himself as he aimlessly wanders the street's of Nexus City.

[Brahmastra]

Gabriel said, "Aren't you going to ask what my slightly devious plans are?  Aren't you just a bit curious?"

"I am quite curious, but I'm not gonna beg you to share."

Amy

"Just because you think it's getting boring doesn't mean you can just dump water on everyone. You're not moving from this spot. Is that clear?"

For now, Fiore held a relatively tight hold on the rabbit's back to make sure it wouldnt jump around and spray any more people.
