Gintoki

For some reason, the secret technique of Gintoki's did not affect the talking armor at all. "Wait, wait, wait, I performed it exactly how it was in TV, yet you still talk, you evil spirit! It cannot be helped, I guess I will have to do something else" he mustered up the courage to face his phobia "If you don't want to be a nice ghost and leave to Heaven on your own before the sadist duo have their way with you, I just need to smash the armor you cling to so hard like momma's boy to her skirt." said the silver haired samurai, drawing his wooden sword. "Sorry, no round two here and now, it ain't red light district"

Rebeca

Rebeca barely moved as Aki left her room. She could hear it, her agitation and sympathy. As soon as the door closed Rebeca reached over to her headphones and placed them over her ears, blasting the music. And suddenly the world was just her again.

“Why did I invite them to stay here…” She whispered. She knew it would only cause trouble; it was all her ability did. She heard what everyone knew, what they thought and felt. She should have known better.

She sat in the same spot for a good few minutes, until she felt her stomach growl. She sighed, “I… I guess I should make breakfast.”

Then she shuffled out of bed before heading out of the room, moving to the kitchen and starting to make some eggs, all the while avoiding looking at Aki and not saying a word.

Abigail

"If you make a crack about crazy women flyers I am so kicking your shins," Abby said as she noticed Law starting to shiver.

She started to push him into the compound and said, "You need to get in, get something to eat then warm up.  Maybe get some real pants too.  I'm being blinded by the whiteness."

However, she didn't like the calculating look those fathomless steel gray eyes gave Law as she ushered him in the building.  Whoever this absurdly tall bondage prone Asian was didn't have pure intentions towards Law.  The redhead frowned at him but didn't say anything, because in a contest of magic, even as low on power as he was, he would crush her.  That Abigail was certain.
Lawrence

"Hey, hey, you said it first! And the shorts aren't that short..." Lawrence mumbled as he snatched up some of the blueberry pancakes off the plate, as he rummaged around for silverware. "And I am doing that... jeez... you really like to fuss over me don't you?" he teased, opening and closing the variety of drawers until he found the silverware, pulling out a fork and twirling it around between his fingers as he took a seat with the plate of pancakes, nearly drowning them in the syrup.

After taking a bite, he pointed the fork at Archer, who'd for some reason chosen to follow him and Abby inside. "So waff 'ur sorky?" Law asked between a mouthful of pancake.

Archer

He shrugged at the man as the other spirit flared within him, a flicker of blood staining his pale face pure red for a millisecond in the spiritual dimension. "I'm more interested in yours. A magical archer? Why did he try to shoot you?"

The scruffier man swallowed his large portion of pancakes almost without chewing them before replying. "I just ended up in the wrong place man. Caught in the blast zone, got lucky nothing was much more than skin deep. How'd you end up here?"

Useless. But he could fish more information from him later. "I crash landed on Forest's table."

"Damn."

The scruffy man was silent after that, intent on his meal. Archer might have to make more pancakes later on. In the meantime, he regarded the Fae girl his guest had arrived with. "So is he your boyfriend? Or what?"

Law choked on his pancakes.

Forest

Forest felt the pulse of magic through her and saw the change on the newcomer's face.  She kept her face impassive, waiting to read what he did next.  His thoughts weren't particularly hidden, and she could sense that he wanted to make sure of who she was.

Then his face smoothed over to that of some friendly stranger wanting to chat.

"Hah, straight to the point. I like that. Well, to put it bluntly, it is not something I can talk about freely in here. It is better to talk inside, where we cannot be overheard. Would that be troublesome?"

Forest squeezed the man's hand, just a hint of supernatural strength.  Enough to give uncomfortable pressure and a hint that she could shatter his hand with ease.  She leaned forward and whispered in his ear, "What's troublesome is you using magic to read me and lying to me.  That bloody pisses me off.  I am a vampire, and if you want to play Van Helsing do stop this pathetic attempt of subterfuge."

Abigail

"I can still see your harry, white legs," Abigail replied in a sing-song voice as she started to grab a couple of pancakes for herself, "And someone needs to fuss over you. If I didn't, you'd probably be wandering around the police station lost and confused."  They smelled heavenly and she wasn't one to turn down good baked goods.

Her eyes widened when she saw that there was orange marmalade in the fridge.  The crisp taste of the citrus would harmonize with the blueberries in the pancakes.  She took a couple of tablespoons of the marmalade and put it in a sauce pan.  She began to heat it into a syrup like state.

"I'm more interested in yours. A magical archer? Why did he try to shoot you?"

"I just ended up in the wrong place man. Caught in the blast zone, got lucky nothing was much more than skin deep. How'd you end up here?"

Then the white-haired man looked at ehr and asked, "So is he your boyfriend? Or what?"

Abigail laughed and said, "I just met him like an hour ago.  I'd just gotten to the station, had some muffins to pass around and he looked so hungry and pathetic.  As to why this guy shot Law, I don't think he was aiming at Law.  From what I gathered from Forest she was the real target.  Law just happened to be in the way."

She took a bite of pancake, frowned, and said to Archer, "You forgot the vanilla."

Richard winced at the sudden pain, his hand being squeezed so thightly he felt it could crush it any second.

"Tsk, am I really that much of an obvious lad? The hell gave me away this time?", he muttered as he tried to hide the discomfort.

Smiling affably, the man did not budge or struggle. Instead, Richard spoke calmly with a soft voice.

"Well, you must be pretty damn good in that regard, figures that you didn't melt off out there. I am almost impressed, but what is this unpleasant talk about reading you and lying?", he asked.

"I'm just a doctor and you looked pale, so I thought I should give you a blood test. Now, you aren't afraid of needles, are you?"

With that said, a sharp icicle erupted from the man's gourd, frozen water going for the vampire's head to pierce her with incredible speed and-

Ended up with a splash of cold water harmlessly hitting her face.

As Law cleared his throat, Archer frowned at Abigail. "Vanilla? I really don't put vanilla in with fruity flavors, I find it overpowering personally." He watched her as she started to melt down the marmalade.

"Yeah, not boyfriend girlfriend I guess sort of friend? We just met." Law coughed out before diving back into the pancakes. The plate was rapidly disappearing at an almost damn impossible rate. "Though, yeah, Shirou did apologize about it... before I got kicked down the stares by some demon child... anyway, heads up uh -"

"Archer."

"Archer, right, I'm Law, that's Abigail, and wierd shit happens here like people who make wonderful muffins also riding broomsticks and being magical changelings. Oh and death molesting you."

"What?" Archer blinked.

"Yeah. That happened." Lawrence muttered.

«  Ayyyy, that was dull. », the pirate sighed in dissapointment as he took yet another glass of rum. By this point, Lorenzo had completely lost count, but he couldn’t care less about that.

“Why the hell would you steal the big cur for yourself? I mean, you could have shared...”, muttered Lorenzo just as another tile of the roof crumbled behind him.

“Aye, I get it, I should have warned ya about the cannons, but you weren’t even listening when I told you to watch out for the bottles. To hell with it, you broke all the bottles!”

With a yawn, the pirate stretched back to grab onto a dice. Shaking it, he tossed it on the table only for it to reveal a four.

“Anyhow, what brings ya around these parts?”, he asked nonchalantly.

"Oh, shut up," Michael says, downing his own glass of whiskey, "You have pyromancy and cannons. I have a staff. You should've gotten to that guy first."

"As for those cannons, yes, you should have warned me about them! It's been centuries since they stopped using cannons in naval combat. Centuries! Admittedly, it is my fault for getting rusty, but it's not like I had anything to practice on since they went obsolete!"

"Besides," Michael continues, refilling his glass before draining it in one go, "If I broke all the bottles, then what are we drinking from right now? As for what brought me here...I'm actually not sure. I just popped into that manor all of a sudden and had the good fortune to land on a couch. What about you?"

"Shaddup! Cannons are cool, what more do you scoundrel need?", rambled Lorenzo as he slammed his glass on the table.

"Besides, I was saving him for last, planned to put 'im in a cannon and blow him to smithereens, but then you just had to happen! It would have been great! Imagine, a flying skeleton fire cannonball soaring to the heavens and blowing up like the sun! IN THE SUN!"

With that, the pirate roared with pompous laughter, wiping tears from his eyes.

"As for how I got here...", and he thus proceeded to tell a tale so ridiculous, one would question his sanity by now. Dragons, aliens and even divine beasts of legend, apparently Lorenzo fought them all with a butter knife in order to find his left sock. But a sorcerer sucked him into a portal and somehow got him in the nexus, or something.

"And that is how I, the GREAT Lorenzo Remei, have found myself in this wasteland. YOHOHOHOHO!"

Michael listens to the tale, nodding along at all the right times as Lorenzo leads him on a grand romp through a world filled with wonder and adventure.

"..." Michael considers what he's seen of the man already, then the mannerisms, and finally his weapons.

"So...you're a womanizing pirate who goes about with a grand number of tales that may or may not be true, though you are one of the rare few of your type that I've met who could likely back up some, if not most, of their claims. ...And you're also the captain...you worked your way up to that position...And you're indebted to those people at the Manor to some degree?"

"Yeah, not bad. Pretty spot on my good lad, but you are wrong on one regard. I'm not just the captain, I am THE captain. The one and only bestest seafarer and able seaman who ever lived! Yohohohohohohoho!"

With that, the pirate took yet another gulp of the alcohol, smiling before letting out a burp.

"Well, my old man was probably better, but you know... we all hit the bucket someday now don't we?"

Michael can't help but smile at the man's remark, then the drink and the resulting buzz turns the smile into a laugh, then follows up with more laughter on top of that.

"Well," Michael says, resting a hand on Lorenzo's shoulder for support as the storm passes, "I honestly can't tell you how long it's been since the last time I believed that statement."

Lorenzo sighed with a bemused expression, joining in the laughter without even realising it.

"Now now, you should know the only thing that is truly eternal is the bottomless pit that is me stomach.", said the pirate jokingly.

"Where did you get that from anyway?"

Michael offers the pirate a patronizing look as he sighs.

Hearing Michael’s sudden response, Lorenzo burst in an uncontrollable fit of laughter. Howling like a hyena, the man now rolled on the floor as he reddened from sheer amusement.

“My, you drunk lad, don’t play jests like this out of nowhere.”, he said as he gasped for air, trying to desperately hold laughter in. He failed, horribly.

“Sorry, sorry. This is just too rich, are you serious!?”
