Lorenzo smiled at the man's passionate speech, pleased to have met such an eager individual.

"You seem to enjoy fighting very much, would you like to join my crew lad?I can promise you, you will not ever know boredom again if you fight by my side.", he spoke jovially, with a tint of excitedment.

"With our skills combined, nothing will stop us, we can become Kings of this city if our heart is set to it!"

"Tempting," Michael says, bemused, "But I'm afraid I'll have to turn you down. No offense to you, but I've no need to be a king of this place. All I'll really need is a steady source of income, and I'd rather not mix business and pleasure if I can avoid it. Besides, I don't usually fight for others, especially not when they can just as easily fight for themselves. I mean, it kinda defeats the purpose of fighting if you do. Regardless, thanks for the offer."

The ninja was good at hiding his emotions, no doubt. But the body betrayed what the mind wouldn't. The slightest shift in his posture, a tiny twitch in his brow, this was all he needed.

But Acacia was taking over the situation, speaking not as an individual, but as a member of the Elites, with the power and authority carried by the position. This wasn't a Monster, so it wouldn't be worth undermining her to ensure the ninja's capture. Instead, Adjutor simply held himself where he was, Rahab and Tyrfing at the ready and Shield Concept ready to be actualized.

Hearing the woman’s words, Ito couldn’t help but burst into laughter, as if he had just witnessed a great farce.

“Hah, so let me get this straight... Uou wake me up, try to murder me o the spot without letting me speak, wound me, taunt me and then tell me that I have to be checked up to make sure I am not some oh terrible threat to the elites or whatever you fancy. Are you people mad!?”

Trying to fight back the laughter, he wiped tears from his face before sighing, taking a deep breath before taking a more collected demeanor.

“Well, I don’t really have a choice now do I? Very well, let’s get this over with.”

Forest

Forest rolled her eyes at the man's complaints and said, "Would you rather me rip your arm off and beat you with it?  Because I'm more than able to do that."

"My witty banter is quite excellent thank you very much. As for why I am here... well, there are many reasons for that milady... word flies quickly around these parts. To keep it short and sweet and simple for you to understand, let's say I just can't allow you to do as you please any longer. "

Forest rolled her eyes and said, "What, you don't want me going around killing werewolves that rape and eat people?  Vampires who do the same with less rape?  Other monsters that would make you wet yourself - or them considering the skill set you just demonstrated - if you saw them?  Stop helping the bobbies deal with said monsters?  As much as I'd love to settle down and play house with a nice looking guy, I know that isn't going to happen any time soon so with an absurdly large handgun I fight the forces of evil."

She shoved him into the kitchen and let him go, "Now get you some damn pancakes and think, 'Why didn't she just snap my neck when I was being an annoying wanker?'"

Richard Maxwell

"W-wha?", Richard looked at the vampire with an utterly puzzled look, confused by what was happening at this point. This monster was telling him that she fought against other monsters? Yes, but to him, such an idea was inconcievable. In other words, his mind was utterly blown.

"Wait, so you mean to tell me... you aren't the one doing the killing? You... a vampire... help people?"

Richard looked sad for a second, staring down at the pancakes almost as if apologetic, he brooded. Surely this was some sick jest, a vampire is a vampire, to have a vampire not consume humans was just-

"You aren't trying to fool me are you?"

"Murder is such an ugly work. Hauke wouldn't have killed you if he had passed through your head. You would just be unconscious until your actions were reviewed to make sure that you haven't done anything. And don't whine about the wound. I know for a fact that it doesn't hurt. It would only take a few moments for any decent healer to fix it."

Then she focused on her children and said, "Wake Alvis up.". They instantly responded to the mental connection and their song shifted into something akin to wailing. If anything was going to get the telepath's attention it would be this.

Alvis

Alvis quickly fell off the couch as his nap was rudely disturbed by the familiar sound of screaming children. He grumpily stood up and left the break room to go up the stair while moodily grumbling about a rotten woman and irredeemably loud swords.

When he finally made it to the roof his gaze and the focus of his mind drifted over to the newest person on the roof. "Joy. I get my nap interrupted to search a random ninja. Come over here and let's get this over with."

Ito sighed at the woman's words, slightly less annoyed by now the ninja had once again regained his cool. With a lazy waving of the hand,
he yawned before speaking up. "Don't give me that crap, you didn't even let me explain myself before jumping on me like a dog in heat. If you're going to go for someone you shouldn't use half assed excuses like this."

Smiling, he laid his hand on her shoulder. "I could tell, you were actually enjoying yourself now weren't you? Don't worry, no shame in that, but you could have been a bit less... sudden about it."

Suddenly, a cold presence emerged. For a second the ninja felt a chill run down his spine, as if he was a bird caught by a wild tiger. Turning around, he faced the newcomer.

"Joy. I get my nap interrupted to search a random ninja. Come over here and let's get this over with."

Smirking at the sight of what appeared to be a child, Ito approached the newcomer before giving him a gentle tap on the head.
"Tell me about it, I was having a nice dream too... Well, no matter.", he humored before following along the boy.

...Well, I suppose this situation's been resolved...

Taking quick stock of the situation, Adjutor decides that he might as well just leave the rest to that creepy-cute kid and the soul-warper girl, if Tyrfing's analysis of those swords was anything to go by.

Though, honestly, consider that apparently those swords were made with souls, I think soul-smith would be a more appropriate title.

...Well, I'm bored. Perhaps we could see if that non-human is still around?

Sure, why not?

With that, Adjutor looks around for the nearest shadow before something occurs to him. Deciding that Tyrfing would be enough to mitigate the risk, the teen steps back and falls into his own shadow. As expected, there's no shadow underneath him to land on immediately, though what is likely the floor beneath has plenty of shadows to work with.

Huh. This might come in handy.

Quite.

Navigating the shadows, the teen makes his way down the building until he reaches street level, before navigating outside of the building, popping out of the shadow of a nearby lamp post. To find the non-human from earlier off to the side, cigarette in her hands as she lets loose a cloud of smoke.

"Curious to be meeting you again," Adjutor says, making his way over, "I take it you're waiting for someone?"

Mordred

"No, I have never meet you. Unless seeing an apparition in a hallway counts as a meeting. I went for a stroll with a ghost, I'm waiting for a ghost, now I'm bothered by a ghost. I'm a medium now?" she sighed "Oh wait, I forgot my pills today. Maybe I'm just seeing things now."

"Actually, no. We have met before, I'm not a ghost, and I'm pretty sure calling those two 'ghosts' would be considered a grave insult," Adjutor counters, "At the hospital, last night. You were fighting another of those 'ghosts' as you call them."

Grendel rises from the bed feeling surprisingly well rested. His surprise is validated once he finds himself reminded of just how horrid this bed is. Easing himself out of it, the Inquisitor goes about the drudgery of preparing himself for the day with his usual meticulous approach to the task. Or at least as close as he can manage with the sub-standard tools available to him. Some more time is needed to don the less distinctive garb he wore as an acolyte, a set of simple mesh robes, but Grendel is soon ready to face a new day in this strange cross between a Hive World and a Forge World. The Inquisitor opens the door, walks outside and-

Promptly falls into a portal, which snaps shut behind him.

"Still, I don't remember you. Though whatever that black armored man was, I focused on him so he would not splatter me on a wall. Bloody city." she sweared, already harboring grudge towards her new "home". She stood up, threw away stub of her cigarette, and swiftly crushed it under her boots. "I name things how they are, so spirits are still spirits. But if you are not a ghost, then whom you are, some magician popping out of sudden without remembering about front doors? You would make a small fortune as a burglar."

Adjutor considers this for a moment, then nods.

"Fair enough," Adjutor says, "And it's not magic, just something I can do."

"Besides," Adjutor continues with a frown, "There are far better uses for this ability than simple burglary. I mean, I don't even really need a car. The gas money I don't have to spend should be far more than what I might earn from something like burglary."

...Hmm...Waiting for a ghost, referring to the Spirits as ghosts...This one works at the station...

Archer and Rider just popped in, and I doubt the screamer was with the police. So that leaves either the Sorcerer or that Saber person Forest mentioned last night...

The Sorcerer seems pretty well off, and doesn't really seem like the type who would work for the police outside of times when their interests aligned, so...

"If you don't mind me asking, is there any particular reason you're looking for Saber?" Adjutor asks, "I don't mean to pry, but I've never met her, so I don't know if there's bad blood between you two or something."

"You are prying already. But I'll give you that, you didn't mistake me for her. So I will be magnaminous. I've never met her face to face as well. Simply I'm bugged by people who think I'm her and I don't approve of her companion I keep hearing about. Accursed vampires." She didn't bother to conceal her feelings. "I need to set it straight for once and all so people will recognize I'm a different person and hopefully heal that woman of her naivety."

Shirou (HF)

Being found by what I had lost

Unsure of where he was, or where to go, the boy began travelling toward the only landmark he recognized Tokyo Tower.

There it is, Tokyo Tower, if I get to the top of the build I might be able to find out what's going on. ... I can feel my body getting stiff as walk toward it however, the magical supplements Tohsaka provides have helped keep my body in form for the past few years Sakura has been away, however there effects have become less potent as I've been taking them through the years. Even now, I can feel my body stiffen up, as if rejecting the form of my soul. But, I have to hold on, I've come so close to Sakura to lose her now.  As I'm about to reach the tower I notice a loud roar coming from above. I look at it to see... a giant monster!

"What the!"

Shit, this is bad... I went through the portal unsure of where exactly I was headed but this is ridiculous. If monsters like this are traveling here, I should have come more prepared. I look within myself to try to prepare a weapon to defend myself with. ... Shit, it's no use, my circuits are too worn out trying to maintain my body. Err, I focus my attention all on the door to the tower. If I can make it to the tower entrance before the creature can get to me, I should be fine. Using all the force in my legs I make a mad dash toward the entrance of the tower. As run, I notice the creature doesn't seem to be hostile as it crashes to the ground and disappears leaving behind. ... Wait a second is that?!

"SAKURA!?"

Could that really be her? The girl I had fought so hard to protect? The girl who disappeared? I stand facing the girl, unable to contain my surprise. Could I really have found what I had been searching for for so long?
It's then that the girl throws her self at me, as if to finally recover what she had been searching for.

"Sakura..."

Wait second is she flying towards me? Shit, I have to catch. I brace my legs and focus my arms ready to finally regain what I had lost.
It's than that the girl than falls in to my arms and.. Shit, looks like my body isn't in the state to hold catch in it's condition!

...

Ouch... I fall to ground with girl, I had waited for held tight within my arms... also... I'm having trouble getting up... At least, she as her two front pillows to cushion the impact... With her in arms, I tell her the first words that come to mind as my body is being crushed by her weight.

"Sakura... I see you've been well..."

Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald

The time was just before noon, as Kayneth's feet were beginning to tire from stopping to enormous building after building he decided to stop by one more location.

"The Proditione Marquette?" It was a five star hotel that stood out even among the tallest skyscrapers of the business district, a hotel dedicated towards royalty, one of the few five star hotels and signs of civility, a symbol amongst the chaotic backdrop.

As he walked through the great glass doors he was gently greeted by the doorman who quickly proceeded to lead him to a pair of desks that stood at a far wall.

The great open entrance hall was ornately decorated with brass and gold, a great chandelier stood high above the room a shining symbol that lit the room in grandeur.

"Mr. Archibald I presume?"

He was quickly approached by a well dressed man, the manager of the hotel. Who proceeded to quickly show Kayneth one of their finest set of rooms located at the highest section of the hotel.

When they returned back to the main lobby Kayneth had seen enough.

"There were 14 scoff marks on the walls near the door, 12 major scratches and 53 minor scratches in the glass windows and pottery, in fact this place could be best described as a waste of land and resources not even worth the effort. However, of the places that I have visited this by far is the most suitable location. Therefore, I shall humbly accept the invitation of residence in this suitable abode."

The foundations in the walls were also built very well in order to best hold magical energy. From the fine white and gold trimmed paint that ordained the walls to ancient glass that decorated the stands, it would be suitable enough for one such as Kayneth.

"Very well then, I shall go make arrangements for my arrival, expect payment before the end of the night."

He had found a home in the Proditione Marquette now it was time for phase two of his Kayneth's grand plan.
