Tohuw Balagan

Tohuw snapped his finger, the puddle next to him oozing with what could only be described as an ominous aura. Then, a light of sorts came out and collected around his playful fingers before becoming a licorice strip. Then, he turned to the ugly person thing.

"Well, that wasn't my fault sir!", the demon calmly stated with a frank and sincere expression.

It most definetely was his fault.

"As for who I am..."

Then, his cane tapped the ground three times and a red carpet rolled out of thin air. Walking calmly, he grinned all while baring a fang that stood out enough to be noticed. It seemed his mood got a bit better even despite the accident, his look calm yet somewhat aloof. Once he was a bit closer to the man, he spoke up.

"Call me Togan it wasn't a complete trainwreck." he humored before taking a polite bow. The closer he got a look at that man, the more he realized he was damn freaky.

But maybe he could help him out.

Forest

The blond chuckled and said, "That was bloody obvious. So come on, to the broom closet we go."

She tilted her head for him to follow her to a closet in the high way.  She got some trashbags, a broom, dustpan and shop vac.  "I think between the two of us we can handle it."

Despite the misgivings from the earlier Archer, Cu had to smile back ruefully. He couldn't really stay mad all the time. The former Servant followed his new landlady behind her. He looked around the place, noticing it didn't seem to be a bad place to be in.

"Aye. Or else this place will become more of a mess than it already is," he agreed with her. Snow was still falling through that hole he just made. If left unchecked, someone is going to have a nasty surprise the next time they open that door.

Forest

"I could give you a full tour later," Forest said, "This place is pretty huge . . ."

She grimaced at the snow and sunlight coming into the room.  She edged towards it, making sure not to get into the sunlight.  "Bugger I should get a tarp or something.  Daylight and I don't mix."

Then with a grimace she stuck her hand into the sunlight.  She braced herself for the pain and soon her hand started to spear and smoke.  The smell of burning flesh filled the room and she jerked her hand back.

She shook it as it began to heal, showing the rapidly healing third degree burns and blisters on her hand to Lancer.  "Really don't mix."

"I could give you a full tour later," Forest said, "This place is pretty huge . . ."

How huge could it be? Is what Cu wondered. He didn't exactly have the opportunity to get a glimpse at his surroundings as he suddenly hurtled down through the roof.

She grimaced at the snow and sunlight coming into the room.  She edged towards it, making sure not to get into the sunlight.  "Bugger I should get a tarp or something.  Daylight and I don't mix."

"Eh?"

Cu is quite confused at her predicament as his brow raised up. She was pretty pale herself, he had to admit.

He was rather surprised at the result of her skin rapidly disintegrating at a bit of light. The degree of damage was the most surprising part from just mere exposure to light. Perhaps even more so as she started to heal quickly. There was no magic. Cu would've felt it. Yet, she was recovering quickly. An inhuman trait.

"Doesn't that hurt?"

She seemed to take that pretty well. For someone who just recently got dire burns on her skin from just sunlight.

"I can get you those tarps if you tell me where I can get them," he offered earnestly. Since she was giving him a place to stay and help him fix the place, at least he could make an effort to do something.

"Doesn't that hurt?"

Forest flexed her healing hand and offered him a winsome smile.  She answered, "Oh, it hurts like a sodding bitch, but after 1300 years I got use to functioning instead of screaming, 'Oh Sherry it burns!'"

"I can get you those tarps if you tell me where I can get them," he offered earnestly.

She smiled at that and said, "Same closet, I can show you.  No risk of spontaneous combustion there."  She sighed and muttered, "Sometimes being a vampire really does suck."

Still keeping his hand trained on the strange person, Cole raises an eyebrow at the sudden appearance of a red carpet, taking a step back for each step the man takes forward. He had to resist the urge to groan at the horrid joke, settling for a wince instead.

"Well, I'm as lost as you are," the conduit says, "So if this isn't where you were looking to end up, you're probably out of luck."

Especially considering his train vanished.

"Don't be a pessimist my good sir. I am positive it is too early to assume such a thing yet. Who knows? This place might be worthwile after all." said the demon, tipping his hat to the man before holding his hand out for a handshake.

"I think we can both say that nothing of any particular abnormality occured today here, wouldn't you agree? Or at least, nothing any person in particular would have noticed." He added, his finger held up his own lips in order to get the message trough.

"My bosses will kill me if they find this out, so I rather not have that to worry about, thank you very much."

Cole watched the being for a moment, looking down at the hand as he considering whether or not it would be worth the risk before deciding to take it anyway. Letting go of the lightning, he takes the demon's hand and shakes it, somewhat surprised that he doesn't feel the electricity that was just now coursing through that arm course through the being in front of him.

"I suppose we can," Cole admits, "Though chances are that you won't have to worry about your bosses here unless you just have the worst luck in the world."

Butler

Patiently and gracefully, Butler finished preparing the tea. He filled a cup at the perfect height and laid it in front of Suiren, passing the sugar and a spoon to her if she so desired it. For the occasion, he had brewed a calming tea of a herbal blend he had found here in Nexus City. It was a particular, comforting mix with a soft scent that would soothe a weary heart well, in his opinion.

He bowed deeply at Suiren's side. "Please enjoy," he said. "And when you are finished there is something I wish to discuss with you, if you will hear me out."

"I suppose we can," Cole admits, "Though chances are that you won't have to worry about your bosses here unless you just have the worst luck in the world."

"Fufufu☆... Then I guess I should thank you for your understanding, my good sir." he chuckled before letting go for the handshake. He showed no sign of discomfort or shock despite the electricity. After all, he never actually held his hand. Letting go, the demon grinned as a hand remained grabbed by the stranger, cleanly cut and still warm.

"Well, I guess it is settled. I take my leave then."

With that, Tohuw poofed in a cloud of pink smoke. Once it cleared, it reveled a small scottish terrier, white fur and a pristine monocle, all with a fancy minuscule polka dotted hat topping his head.

"And please, do take care of that face of yours, it is unsighty to say the least. Unless this is a ruse and you are trying to scare off the ladies..." said the dog before leaving, a jellyfish-like umbrella floating along to cover him from the sun.

"...the hell?" the Conduit muttered as the being turned into a...dog? wearing a monocle? ...And was that a god damn...polka...hat?!

And then it flew away with a parting comment about his looks.

No. That did not just happen. He was dead. Dead or insane or dying or locked up in some padded room somewhere because shit like this just didn't happen in the normal world as he knew it, even after getting his powers, shit like this just didn't happen. One somewhat dirty hand came up to his face as he tried to keep the myriad thoughts whirling around his brain from bursting out in a wonderful little shower of gore. Hell, death would be mercy at this point. And then something inside Cole simply broke.

No, not yet. First...first we need to find out if we're not dreaming.

And then the first of a group of pedestrians gathers around him, leaving the Conduit the subject of numerous camera flashes as a car stops near him, horn blaring.

Perfect.

Cole raises an arm up as if lifting something, black lightning coursing through his arm as the car, driver and all, is lifted clean off the ground without even the slightest strain before a quick Electromagnetic blast launches it towards the pedestrians. The car strikes a few of the pedestrians directly, with the tank igniting soon after impact, exploding and killing the rest of the crowd along that side, either with the blast wave or the fire that follows.

The Conduit then turns to the other side of the road only to find that the group of people that were there previously have gone running for their lives, all in one direction like proper toys. Black lightning crackled up and down his arm as he raised it before firing off a salvo of Megawatt Hammers, the densely packed kinetic charges soon catching up to the pedestrians with a series of massive explosions as each primary 'rocket' struck true followed by six 'mini-rockets' that proceeded to stick themselves to the nearest warm body before blowing up as well, drawing a chuckle from Cole despite his normal disdain for Saturday morning cartoon villainy.

The amusement quickly dies as he realizes what he's done. Hardly a few hours in a city he knows nothing about and he's already painted a massive bullseye on his forehead. Well, assuming people even gave a shit, though that wasn't something he felt like betting against. Even if there weren't any living witnesses, which he doubted, the police would no doubt get called he-

Wait, why am I worried? This place can't be real, can it? I mean, this is just some fucked up dream or something and I'm going to wake up to Zeke bitching and moaning as usual, right?

Far too late, the Cole takes a moment to pinch himself, wincing slightly at the pain, more out of surprise than actual pain.

Wait, no, that's not a sure sign. You can still feel pain in a lucid dream...

The Conduit shrugs, both arms coming alive with lightning as he takes a moment to listen for any-

There. Behind him. A kid trying to crawl away from the inferno, blood trickling out of his ears as he tries to get away from th-

Cole is then interrupted by a woman, likely the kid's mom, coming out of nowhere with a purse. The Conduit only has time to raise an eyebrow before the purse smashes into his face hard enough to force him a step back.

Christ, does she have rocks in there or something?!

The time the woman takes to wind up for another swing, however, proves to be her undoing as a single electrically charged fist slams into her in return, knocking her back as the current courses through her body. After that, a quick salvo of lightning bolts finished her off. Staring at the crisped body for a moment to make sure it won't be getting back up, Cole turns his attention back to the kid just in time to take a rock to the face. Reeling back, he fires off a bolt on reflex, striking the kid dead center and knocking him flat onto his back, gasping like a fish out of water.

Cole walked over to the kid, crouching down beside his head as he considered what to do. On one hand, killing kids was just a line that he wasn't willing to cross just yet, on the other, this could very well be some whack-ass dream, so it didn't really matter one way or another. The kid stared back at him, rage and fear and hate all at war with one another in his eyes.

"Wrong place, wrong time," Cole says simply, laying a hand on the kid's face, easily overcoming the feeble resistance that is the best his victim can muster. With a thought, the neuro-electricity in the kid's body was drained out through the hand, coursing into Cole recharging his personal reserves.

With that, Cole stands up again, looking over the scene of carnage as he starts to make his way down the sidewalk, unconcerned with where he ends up.

Gintoki

Clutching his wounded arm, Gintoki walked through the city not paying heed to suspicious looks some pedestrians were giving him. "What a pain in the ass, I have to stop by somewhere where I can patch up that arm. Truly Gin-san is too reckless for his own good..." he complained, as the pain was bothersome.

When he witnessed the massacre caused by Cole from far away, it made his blood boil. Whoever that bastard was, Gintoki saw him murdering bunch of bystanders, including a child, in cold blood. Unforgivable. The sensation of pain lessened as the man entered a state akin to a tranquil rage, silently glaring at Cole while charging at him, Lake Toya firmly in his right hand, intent to kill the bastard who did that in front of his eyes. He was too late to prevent this, but he could still stop the man at all cost. White Yaksha entered the fray once again.

...you've gotta be kidding me...

Granted, the newcomer was faster than most people by a long shot, but he was charging Cole head-on. That said, Cole wasn't one to take chances, and he was high off that quick drain just now. Bio-electricity has this weird kick to it, for lack of a better term. A little something truly invigorating. And it was with this boost that Cole proceeded to toss off Megawatt Hammer after Megawatt Hammer, seemingly unhindered by the energy cost that would normally be draining him dry right now. Salvo after salvo of the 'rockets' going up in massive explosions wherever they landed, each followed by the six 'mini-rockets' spreading out, seeking the nearest living being to attach to before exploding as well.

Gintoki

Don't bring a sword to a gunfight, or so was the saying. One could dismiss a swordsman charging someone who was a mobile artillery, but Gintoki was not a typical samurai. A survivor of Amanto Wars, he faced the technology that Amanto brought with his superior skill and courage alone. Even in a state of quiet rage, his mind stayed focused and his instincts sharp. After evading first salvo the smoke from explosion obscured Gintoki, working to his advantage when facing next ones. He did not take any chances, especially after he noticed right away that missiles worked like shrapnels. Fortunately for him avoided those small missiles during the first volley and seen through the trick. He emerged unscathed from the smoke, closing in on his enemy.

Tohuw Balagan

The terrier was moving away from the scene, his paws carrying him to wherever they fancied to bring him. Truth be told, he had no idea where to go, but he figured if one thing was sure, it was that there were a ton of people in this city. Surely he could find some entertainment somewhere, perhaps amuse himself with some folk.

Then he heard the screams.

"Wha?" the demonic hound barked, his attention now directed to where he came from. Suddenly, a luxurious Cadillac Hearse poofed out of thin air. The white vehicle dotted with pink polka dots immediately opened, and as soon as the dog stepped in the front seat, the car rushed back to the whereabouts of the cries.

As soon as he reached his destination, the demon stepped out, the car poofing away, and resumed his prior form. What he saw was, to say the least, a most horrid carnage. Wincing at what he saw to be the man responsible for it wrecaking more havock, he clicked his tongue. Not a trace of his previous cheerful attitude was there, all that stood was a cold rage tintilled with the madness of an ancient demon.

"That's enough." He spoke, his voice echoing and filling the whole area with chilling dread. It was clear now, that the most horrifying of monsters had stepped atop the stage, his eyes narrowing with an intensifying glare of deathé

His lips crawling into a rictus, he stepped forward, slowly walking to that man and tapped his cane. Without warning, the ground shook and twisted, almost as if crumbling down akin to quicksand, no, water. Hands erupted from the floor, reaching for the guilty one in order to drag him down to the depths below.

"You may settle down. Then I will allow you to show your face again, my good sir."
