Medaka

Lorenzo woke up.  Not only that, he seemed to be back to his usual self.  He was making wise cracks and vulgar comments.  At that moment, Medaka cried.  She completely ignored the conversation going on between the two.  She was aware they were talking so she tried not to wail uncontrollably.  Instead, her voice came out like a puppy having a nightmare, occasionally whimpering in between tears.  She grabbed Lorenzo and held him tight.

Lorenzo was about to respond to the brown haired woman when he noticed a whimper. Before he could react, he was held tightly by Medaka, who was now in tears.

"Oí, oí, oí. I't alright, it' alright. I'm back, and in one piece." Said Lorenzo, smiling warmly as he was held tightly by Medaka. It didn't feel unpleasant or anything, but at the same time, he didn't want to see her in such a sad state. Hugging her back, He kneeled before embracing her, trying his besty to comfort her.

"I won't leave you ever again, so don't cry." he murmured in a serene voice, wiping the tears off her face with a kind smile. Then, he took hold of her face and stretched her lips in order to form a smile, not without letting a light giggle out.

"See? It's much better to smile like that! Looks great on you too! Besides, when you're hurting, it's always better to have a good laugh. Sure, crying your heart out helps, but to smile and laugh is simply beautiful. Tears don't suit you, so..."

And then the pirate proceeded to tickle her, Yo-ho-ho-ing to his best in order to kick the sad out of her with a grin.

Roxas

Roxas was a bit sad about leaving Vanguard.  He had just made a new friend here in the nexus and now they had to split up.  Still, he couldn't worry too much about that.  He needed to find a job and he could meet Vanguard tomorrow.  He began walking back into the city, looking for work.

EMIYA SHIROU

Shirou bent his legs as he touched down on the roof of a reasonably tall building, his reinforced limbs absorbing the impact, and with a push he was airborne again. The area of Nexus City he was heading out to search next didn’t have any skyscrapers, so finding good vantage points was going to be an issue. He was mentally planning a route when something moved in the corner of his vision.

A shadow. Something black and fluid, a shadow that moved on its own volition, defying the sun in the sky. It crept up the building he was preparing to land on, as though preparing to greet him. Shirou couldn’t tell what it was, or what it was trying to do, but he wasn’t interested in finding out.

The shadow had reached the roof by the time he landed. He vaulted off the building and down the opposite side, evading the black thing’s movements.

LANCELOT

Arturia’s knight gawked at the sight of Irisviel kissing Saber, the sheer surprise at her forwardness delaying any response. Saber herself stiffened for a moment, then pushed the taller woman back, demanding to know what was going on.

Lancelot snapped out of his stupor and moved to engage. He grabbed Irisviel by the back of her collar and lifted her up off of the blond and setting her down a few feet away. He glared at her but didn’t say anything, knowing that Saber was capable of reprimanding the foolish woman herself.

Tohuw Balagan

This was disgusting, for a bunch of humans to harrass him in such a way. Truly the worst joke he had ever stumbled upon, even he couldn't laugh at that. Then, a rain of luightning befell upon him and tore his flesh, his body melting and bursting away as his features were blackened and distorted.

Clicking his tongue, he commanded the living ground to obey. Without warning , an enormous salmon of asphalt and rock burst from the ground and hit the cur with all it's strength, sending him flying miles away into a nearby building. His body had not withstood that attack, he was clearly hurt, but by shifting into rubber, he managed to at least keep his important bits kicking. Even so, the black charred figure that rested atop a devastated sofa now fumed with anger.

ENOUGH! roared the demon with a voice far too monstruous to belong to a human. As the writhing creature cried, an horrific chill shattered the tension to overwhelm it with an imminent sense of danger and dread. Clutching it's cane, the blackened form that seemed almost too demonic to belong in this world clicked his tongue. The crimson ruby resting atop it's cane glowed red, and the earth shattered, as if splitting under them.

YOU WILL KNOW YOUR PLACE, HUMAN!!!

Then, the earth shook as a sickening glow of red shone all over the place, the air twisting and bending as the shaking grew of greater and greater magnitudes. Then, the ground began do bubble with heat and before anyone knew it, an inferno of pyre and lava erupted. The lava grew and bent, engulfing the area around the four as if to devour them all.

Nearby houses crumbled down and a skyscraper burst as it's glass windows shattered one after the other. Then, as if nothing happened, the lava dropped in temperature dramatically and became akin ground once again. The shaking stopped, and everything went to normal. The sofa vanished, and the demon simply dropped down to the ground, his normal clothes and a new hat appearing once again. Tipping his hat, he grinned.

"Pheeew, that was close. Almost went a little crazy there. Well, you know what? This wonderful display of camaradery was so sweet that I was moved myself. I'll give the victory to you, good man. Besides, this really wasn't any fun. Here!"

Then,  he shattered the lollypop he had made, and all the souls he had taken from the prior incident were released.

"Keep the kid too, he should be somewhere... um...Well, I am sure you will find him if you are fast enough. Good lucky! I'd hurry if I were you though."

"It's hardly your concern," Guts says to the armored man, "Just passing through, is all."

With that, he reaches down, pulls the girl up to her feet and deposits her as such, moving on with a simple, "Watch yourself next time."

"Good point, forgive me for meddling." said Vanguard to the man. Then, he turned to the woman and looked down upon her. She was quite small, so it was necessary for him to lean down a bit in order to get a full view of her.

"Are you alright?" he asked.

Irisviel

Irisviel enjoyed the warm and familiar feeling of Saber’s lips upon her own. She savored the short moment before Saber pushed her away with an adorable blush on her face.

"Irisviel, what is the meaning of this?  Why are you being so forward?" Saber asked.

Irisviel draped her arms loosely around Saber’s shoulders and smiled at her. “Oh Saber, why are you being so co-ooy!” She was saying to Saber when her armored friend very rudely lifted her by her collar off the ground. She shook herself around, trying to get herself free. “What's the big idea!” She angrily demanded of him as he set her down a few feet away.

Medaka giggled at the touch of the pirate.  She was still overwhelmed with the relief that Lorenzo was alive and a bit upset that her actions put them in this situation to began with.  He was doing his best to comfort her.  She playfully slapped his hand away.

"Yeah, im just glad your alive...  I guess I was holding in my feelings for so long, they kind of just exploded when you woke up.  Im just....  Im sorry."

Now was not the time to apologize.  Medaka forgot that there was another person here. She composed herself.  Then, she turned to the girl.

"Thank you for what you have done.  I was worried that I wouldn't be able to save him in time. Also, im sorry.  It seems I have interrupted your conversation. "

Butler

Butler didn't miss a beat.

"To detain and take into sanctioned custody or imprisonment," he explained with a nod. "As these men are law enforcement, I believe they wish to interrogate you about the public disturbance that unfolded here and hold you to account as standing in violation of the law."

His single-eyed gaze went over the officers, sharply assessing all of them before turning back to Suiren. "Shall I take care of them, or would you rather leave for elsewhere, milady?"

Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald

The instant the hammer was grabbed the shape melted back into strands of wire as they quickly returned to Kayneth coat.

'The reaction time is quicker than expected, offense seems to be unwise for the time being.'

"Who said I was trying to leave, little miss?"

Hands shot out to grab him, but he would not let them get close. Using his already reinforced speed Kayneth jumped backwards away from the oncoming reach.

Faust

The demonic being whose shadows were chasing after Shirou continued their chase, perfectly tracking his every move. As Shirou vaulted off the building, the shadows split into many tendrils, forming a large dark net that extended to trap the brown man, leaving little chance for him to escape.

Meanwhile, Faust had been thinking about the events that had unfolded since Rider arrived. She had done nothing to aid them since arriving, instead only making it much much worse. She had been nothing but trouble, and in the end he decided to deal with it. He summoned a large black dog out of a large circle and gave it its orders.

Wait until I make my move and then kill the tall light purple haired woman
“Go capture Shirou.” He said aloud before turning to Sakura. He said her name once and she slumped over instantly, now unconcious. At the same time, he summoned forth a large shield and over fifty large magic circles focused on Rider.

The dog leapt at Rider, intending on tackling her to the ground.

Saber sighed and took a deep breath of cold air.  She said, "What would your husband think if he saw you like this?"  She looked away to Lancelot and said, "Thank you, my friend."

Her cheeks were bright red and she smoothed down her hair and made sure no to make eye contact with Irisviel.

Abigail

The redhead sighed as Archer made his promise.  She still didn't trust him as far as she could throw him, but she had other concerns.  She turned towards Law and took the cut hand. "Before anywhere I need to get this cut and dressed."

Law raised his hand, only a bit of drying blood to show where there'd once been a gash, aside from the whisker thin line of ectoplasm it covered. "I'm fine. I didn't cut deeper than the skin, so it's more like a really nasty paper cut. Except made with a knife. And more painful. OK yeah let's get it wrapped. Ow."

Mordred

How rude. The freakishly tall swordsman just grabbed her as if she was a kid, even if he did help stand. What is with that attitude, does he think he is Vegeta or someone like that?

The other man seemed to be more polite. Clad in a full armor resembling that of a knight's, his image matched his demeanor at least a bit, though she still felt a bit awkward standing next to such a tall guy. She was no short for a woman, but these two seemed to be freaks of nature or part giants. However, Mordred did not notice yet that the armor was hollow inside.

"Uhhh, I'm okay. I was simply amazed about shops here and got distracted. I have been only few weeks here after all, I'm still new to this place." she sighed. As much as she wished to go back to Britain, this awful city still had some merits.

AKIHOLARME

Aki blinked and turned to look at Rebeca. She could give her the same ability? That seemed preposterous… but why not? It was hard to see what she had to lose, aside from the pain that the young girl mentioned. Questions flew around inside her head about the potential applications of such a power, and how difficult it might be to master. All that actually came out of her mouth was: “You are certain it is temporary? If so then I accept your offer.”

The dragonborn moved from her position against the wall and faced the white haired girl completely, looking her in the eyes, which wasn’t hard given they were the same height. “What do we do?”
